La Fuente Bakery & Restaurant is highly praised for its delicious, authentic Venezuelan food, friendly staff (especially Karen and Andrea), and welcoming ambiance. Customers rave about the pastries, coffee, and breakfast options, considering it a hidden gem.
Tip: Try anything with pork or order a coffee with milk; you won't regret it. The staff is happy to provide recommendations.
The food was perfectly sized and hot. The coffee and pastries were delicious and the staff was friendly and welcoming.
Great place! Great Venezuelan/Colombian food. Very clean, place, the food is great
Oh how I wish I lived near because this was such a delightful place to visit! Not only was the shredded beef arepa I ordered absolutely incredible, the service was outstanding. There are a group of Venezuelan ladies who serve with love and care there. The desserts looked amazing but I didn't have any this time. I took some pictures for anyone interested. Definitely a place to visit while in this area for authentic Venezuelan food.
Our favorite place when in the Orlando area! The Empanadas are amazing! The Patecon was HUGE!! Fresh and tasty! Also, they have MANY Gluten Free options! Just ask and they'll tell you! (most flour used is corn flour).
While in Orlando we went two days in a row! Excellent experience! The food is top notch. Be sure to order a coffee with milk you won’t regret it. The service is fast and friendly and their recommendations are great. I would recommend you get anything with pork in it. And order your eggs scrambled with tomato and onion. If you are going to get a pastry get the pineapple or the guava and cheese and ask for them to be warmed. 10/10 dining experience would recommend to anyone.
we came from out of town to visit the nearby amusement parks. We have family from south America and we have always looked for authentic food. This place is just that , this place has authentic food and you can tell everything is fresh and made from reputable ingredients. The customer service is wonderful and there’s so many options ranging from breakfast to dinner to multiple dessert options. We went as a group of 11 and didn’t make a reservation ahead of time but were seated immediately. Since the food is being fresh in the back it’s going to take a minute to cook everything but it’s nothing out of what’d you expect. Even if you’re not one to try something new and from a different country they do offer normal american meals like burgers and fries.
I couldn't find an issue.. the for was awesome! The service was great! It's a nice seating area, very clean. It was a touch on the expensive side.. but other than that, it's much better than a certain top rated Latin restaurant on the other side of Disney...
Visited Orlando for my son’s 10th birthday and needed a cake. My son wanted dulce de leche so, this restaurant was recommended to me by a family member whom is a local and I am so happy we chose this restaurant because from the customer service to how delicious everything was… my gosh. my heart is full. Thank you so much and I look forward to seeing you all again. Good luck and I’m sorry for what you are experiencing as well. Stay safe!
The food is amazing is a Venezuelan food the mandocas, empanadas and cachitos are very good. In my trip I went there for breakfast every day. The employees are very nice

We LOVE this restaurant 💛 We had lived here over a year before we tired it. It is by far our favorite place to go in the area now.

Food was delicious!!The servers were super friendly & the bread/sweets were super good as well
Maria y Karen did an amazing job like always great attitude the atmosphere was really good happy vibes 😁
The best waitress in town Meche and Karen they treated me good and they prepare a good coffee
Stopped in for the Cafe Con Leche and the pastries were calling my name. EVERYTHING was delicious!!!!! The chicken empanadas made me come back and get more. The ham & cheese croissant was light, fluffy and delectable. The apple turnover and blueberry muffin didn’t stand a chance. The atmosphere is nice, the staff so friendly and helpful. La Fuente was/is a WIN!!!!!
A cute and cozy cafe. We went for coffee and desserts only, and it hit the spot. I honestly couldn't tell you what we ended up ordering (other than the Nutella cappuccino pictured), but it was all delicious. And with all the goodies on display in the case, it was difficult to choose just one so we all split 3 desserts. We definitely want to go back and try out the entrees because the menu makes me want to drool. But a nice experience this time, and I'll be sure to come back soon.
Oh boy... Ada and her crew make sure the job gets done right. Their breads are all homemade, the food is so flavorful and delicious and they make it so fast too. We had a group of about 26 come in for dinner and they took great care of us. I will absolutely come back for more South American cuisine.
The 3 Appetizer Samplers were a perfect mix for lunch for 2.
Highly recommend! You can tell a latin food experience by the salsa! The Latin Food (especially Arépas!) is always worth the trip. Columbian and Venezuelan food - fresh juices, great coffee and a bakery are what you will experience here. Very comfortable atmosphere and a local owned and operated small business- so the time is taken to make sure the food is made to order. It is possible to call ahead and order off the menu so plan ahead if you are on a tight schedule. This is my 3rd visit and it's been faster each time, 15 minutes from seated to eating. Yari is an excellent host and makes great recommendations to keep you coming back for more. The food here always consistently worth the trip! Prices are competitive with the large chain restaurants on HW 192, but you get so much more. * Again - Almost rated 4 stars for the wait but like any other place in a tourist town, wait times can vary - as always - plan ahead for the best experience.*
La Fuente was a nice surprise. We enjoyed a breakfast plate with eggs, ham and bread. The coffee and latte were good. Mostly, it was the friendly and helpful staff that made it a 5 star experience.
Perfect spot in the neighborhood for a quick lunch! We had an impromptu lunch over at La Fuente after craving empanadas! They did not disappoint. The service staff was kind, quick and the place itself has a patio and indoor seating. All of their empanadas (Colombian and Venezuelan) are delicious! We even tried their frozen Strawberry lemonade and YUM! We 10/10 recommend La Fuente!!!!
The latté is so adorable!!! I forgot the name of what I ordered, but the "bread" is actually a plantain (gluten free by default as bananas aren't wheat). It was incredibly flavourful and fruity tasting, with meat that's the perfect amount of richness. 11/10, would order a third time but I should try something new next time 😅 We were frequent customers before a move, and stopped by on a trip out west. This café is pretty big, has both the usual café snacks and also a pretty big menu of Latin food. Love the new renovation! (It was partially complete last time we were here).
This is a treasure. Great food. Staff was very helpful. You're sure to get a great dish there.
Authentic Hispanic food, primarily Venezuelan. The staff is friendly (bilingual) and the food is delicious. If you buy from the bakery must try the pan de extra queso. It's a loaf of bread with a big chunk of cheese inside. I'm originally from Miami, this Disney area is flooded with franchise food spots but this place is just what your looking for if you want to get away from that.
The food is delicious, flavorful, and authentic. The service was great, the waiters were friendly and our food came out pretty quickly even though the place was packed! The atmosphere was very calm and the music was not loud. The bathrooms were really clean.
I live in Jacksonville and stayed at the hotel across the street from La Fuente last night just randomly and I rarely post photos but today this was my breakfast. It was perfection. Coffee was hot and fresh. The place is beautiful bright clean cheerful inside and out, the staff is beautiful and friendly, the food is beautiful, I left happy full and with a bag full of amazing pastries I ate in the car all the way home. Every single bite was absolutely delicious. The quality, value, and service is authentic and reflects a genuine love of real food and real people. These are attributes you'll never find in a commercial chain restaurant or bakery.
If you are around Kissimmee and need a excellent place to eat latin food, specially Venezuelan and Colombian food this is the right okace to come. Execllent service, great atmosphere, ample menu from appetizers to main course, breakfast, lunch and dinner. You won't regret trying this place. We were looking for a place to eat breakfast and stumble upon this restaurant in google and I most said that out if our 5 days stay we ate there 4 days. That's friendly staff, great portions and a little expensive but it was worth ecery penny. Will definitely recommend this place.
Loved the restaurant! Excellent coffee. Ham and cheese pastry was delicious!
Spectacular, the wife and kids were here on vacation and this placed saved our life by bringing back our culture. We missed the coffee and the pastries, they have it all! Good food very affordable prices compared to anything around it and atmosphere and service is exceptional. It’s hard to find a waiter now days with a pleasant attitude!
Ice coffee is so adorable 😍, we have breakfast there. I ordered American breakfast and my husband got Columbia breakfast. It was big portion. We both couldn't finish it. The place in the morning to noon is always busy. The service is very good. The restaurant is clean and enough parking lot.
This is the delicious South American food we've been looking for. The Arepa sampler is a great way to start, but there are many flavorful options like salty seasoned shredded beef mixed with sweet and fruity plantains. It's a clean and pleasant atmosphere, and the friendliest staff you could ask for. Feels like coming home. I'd like to come back and try the Cachapa next.
The breakfast was delicious, though the juice wasn’t natural. The eggs and arepas were especially good, offering a nice blend of Colombian and Venezuelan flavors.
Visiting from out of town? Try it! Live nearby? Check it out! Eat local! This is a single location, not a chain. Delicious food, friendly service from Andrea who provided good recommendations. We have eaten here a couple of times when we're in town. Good selection of while foods, and a good selection of fresh baked goods.
Met a friend here for dinner. OMG food was outstanding right down the road to Disney can't read or speak Spanish but they had pictures that described everything. Food was incredible. Ask for and the other waitress very friendly. Very knowledgeable. Very helpful. The flying was outstanding. The rest of the bakery goods were also very good as well as the cappuccino that was made for me. I would highly recommend that spot

The food was good. The empanadas were amazing. Good tequenos, platanos Maduro were also good. Tacones Verdes with shredded beef. The quesillo was over done. The pan dulce was sweet and yummy.
Lovely South American restaurant with a wide-ranging menu. Impressed by the Venezuelan dishes offered at this restaurant; I try to stop by & grab a bite every time I’m in the area. Everything I’ve tried so far has tasted fresh & absolutely delicious, each time! My only wish is that they worked directly with one of the large food delivery platforms for even more convenience, as it may not always be easy to contact them through telephone. You can, however, still order online on their website and the food will be ready pretty quickly. Great, speedy service and tasty food & drinks - I encourage anyone to try this restaurant if you’re looking for some delicious Latin fare in the area. Looks like they also have a location in Orlando. Go!

The place is fabulous. The desserts are beyond extremely fresh pastries, delightful atmosphere Professional services
very good venezuelan food. a bit on the expensive, but what isn't these days
Only got the ham and cheese croissants. Just a heads up have them heat up for you drive the are in a cooler. Make sure to tell them to make sure nice and crispy. Ours we asked to be heated and was a bit soggy and the cheese wasn't melted. Great flavor just needs to be reheated better. Lots of great choices. Would definitely return.
We decided to try Latin food on our trip to Orlando. This place could be perfect if it’s not for a couple issues we found. The food in general was great. The Bandeja Paisa brought a sunny side egg that looked perfect, however, it was cooked on used oil, probably from the steak making it to have a weird taste. After I placed the egg on the side of the plate, I noticed the top of the white rice was brownish because of the oil where the egg was fried. The Red Beans were well seasoned and cooked, everyone tried and agreed it was delicious. The Colombian Breakfast was amazing, but the scramble eggs were cold. We though they might have cooked it first and let it sit until the rest was prepared and served. The Sirloin Steak was well prepared as well as the rice and Yucca frita. The Café con Leche was fresh and aromatic and the soursop smoothies were natural, fresh, authentic and refreshing. They have a few sauces to try with the food and they were flavorful. The cannolis could be perfect, but they only filled the ends and not inside. The restroom needs and urgent repair to enhance the customer experience. It has cracks, rust, and stains all over making it hazardous and unhealthy. The service was ok but a smile would probably make me feel welcomed and forget about all these issues. I’m sure on my next trip all these issues would be part of the past.
I can’t believe the prices and the portion sizes for these prices plus the 18% tip added without asking- it says “service charge.” I feel ripped off and the restaurant was empty…now I know why!
They are little tricky with pictures on the menu and what the meal actually brings, becareful with the hidden things not mentioned like $8 extra for a columbian sausage, seriously lol. It was $66 for breakfast for 2???
Stopped in this quaint little place for breakfast. The ambiance is great, the menu items are interesting and the food is really good. However, the service is unbearably slow and no one ever checked up on us during our meal. Additionally, one entree that we ordered was never brought out to us, and communicating with the waitresses in English is a bit tricky. They could have just been having a bad day, but I expected more from La Fuente.
I ordered the Venezuelan breakfast with shredded chicken. The arepa was good, crunchy on the outside and tender inside. However the chicken and the black beans were salty.. Coffee was good. The cubano sandwich was not with real cuban bread and it was OK. Small parking lot. Good ambience.
Where do I start Well I gave it three stars because I never thought a Restaurant would charge a person a service fee to buy food at their place specially take out. I understand if I’m eating there but I wasn’t and on top of that I spent almost $100 at the restaurant for take out so that’s my reason for three stars. Their service wasn’t bad and the food was decent. I never knew that a restaurant will charged to buy food at the restaurant for take out. That’s my take on that.
The food was fairly good, and the service was okay. However, I wasn’t happy with the tip being automatically included on the bill for 2 people. While the 18% itself was fair for the service we received, it should have been left as a choice. The biggest issue was waiting over 30 minutes just to get my check, which really took away from the overall experience. Other than that, it was fine, but not something that stood out.
Spent $70 on a breakfast for two. The empanada was fridge cold in the middle and the rice and beans on my wife's plate as well. $6 per orange juice so it came out to $12. I can buy a whole gallon at the store for about $7. I could have had a better breakfast at Keke's breakfast or another chain and for less. I was looking forward to a local mom and pop bakery, sadly I was disappointed. The waitress was wonderful though and attentive. I hope they improve.

Prices are high and then they add a service charge, absolutely nuts. Why a service charge on an order that i need to stand in line for. Theres no tips at Culvers for the same type of service. $32 for 2 empanadas and 2 drinks for breakfast is way too much. Definitely won't return.
Honest review here! The food had no flavor whatsoever except for the beans. The smoothies had zero flavor it was like drinking slushi with water. Not to mention everything being over priced! Two breakfasts with two smoothies plus they add there own gratuity all adding up to $85. Really was expecting authentic dishes and unfortunately that was not the case atleast for breakfast.
The service is excellent, the natural juices are really good especially the spiked juice. The food was too greasy , we got the bandeja paisa the steak had no flavor same with the beans , we got some empanadas colombianas and we got a whole plate of oil out of the empanadas. The bathrooms are really dirty and in need of a good deep cleaning. I say if you want authentic colombian food you should try going somewhere else.
I wanted to try something new while I was in the area so I went La Fuente. I ordered the patacon with roasted pork, fried cheese and the sauce on the side. I was really disappointed to find that it did not have fried cheese and it was covered in sauce. It was a big portion for the price paid but I was not a fan of the flavors of the roasted pork. I also ordered a beef pastelito and it was delicious. The bakery case looked amazing though.
Although we've enjoyed it before, very disappointed .. "sit anywhere" with hardly any customers, numerous available tables, NONE clean .. tables cleared but not wiped, food on chairs and banquettes .. so, thought we'd try the back corner only to find a spider, hanging from it's web just above the table -- picked cleanest table and had to request it be wiped -- eggs overcooked, and then a visit to the bathroom was the last straw: toilets filthy, dirty floor, tank leaking on floor -- what must the kitchen look like? Won't be back ...
I used to really like this place but every time I come, and a particular girl checks me out, she doesn’t let me tip. Instead she chooses her own. Her choosing it without flipping the screen, per usual transaction, was very distasteful & odd. This is the second time it’s happened; and it’s only with the same young lady. I tip good too, so I don’t know why she felt inclined to low ball herself, but maybe don’t do that to someone who regularly comes. Tainos down the road & they would never.

Over priced for simple food, waitress are decent, cleanliness was ok, gratuity was already added to my bill, for a party\nOf 3 ($19). Breakfast wise from 1-10 this is a 3 to me.

The food was of poor quality for Latin cuisine. I've definitely been to better Latin food spots for less money. It's also worth mentioning that they charge a mandatory 18% service fee, even though …
The me u prices are not correct. 3 different choices were prices lowered than what they actually show on the menu. The picture next to the prices are wrong. The breakfast americano on the picture is $2.99 more that the menu price. The grill sirloin steak does not cost $22.99 like it says on the picture next to the price. It's actually $36.99 As the picture shows.
We have been coming here for 2 yrs. It used to be our favorite place. We even moved to Minneola and drove here to enjoy the good food and what made it even more special was the treatment. I had given 5 stars back in the days when we used to come and this place had nothing to complain about, but our last 3 visits have made me change from 5 to 1 star. The girl serving tables today (only person in the dining area) had people walk out because she’s taking too long to take orders. We waited about 15 mins to get our food. And we werent surprised to see that instead of fried eggs with the Venezuelan breakfast (what i ordered) she brings scrambled eggs and politely tells me the lady in the back made a mistake. Of course i sent the order back. I was not in the mood for scrambled eggs. My husband’s croissant was very soggy, like 2 days old. And The bacon egg and cheese croissant he ordered came with cheap American cheddar cheese. Then we remembered that they usually ask us what type of cheese he wants for his sandwich, but this girl didn’t. Sorry; but I don’t think we will be back again. We miss Karen!! I’m not sure if she still works here, but she has always taken care of us and some of the other girls that used to work here with her were wonderful!! Please get the girl today help or you will end up closing this business!
I dont mind paying $10 for 2 empanadas, the problem is trying to eat it while is burn and extremely greasy, had to take multiple napkins to drain it and still could not eat it 😏😰 I had to go get breakfast somewhere else and spend more money 👎🏻
Absolutely horrible service and outrageous prices. An arepa is $15 and a Venezuelan breakfast is almost $20. Fried empanadas almost $6 and everything follows the same trend. They are definitely understaffed and expect people to wait forever to be served simple meals that don’t require much preparation. Most of the employees have an attitude and seem so annoyed to do their job. On top of that, they hit every customer with a service fee that you are obligated to pay, claiming it’s their “policy”. I should have read all the reviews before setting foot in this place. And the way the owner responds sarcastically to every bad review speaks very poorly of whoever is handling this business. This isn’t about your prices not being in “people’s budget”, it’s about not letting a business rob you simply because they can! What a bunch of arrogant thieves! Never again!!! The food is just decent. I do not recommend this place at all. Oh! And don’t expect any tap water. They will deny it and force you to pay for a bottle ($3)

I'd have to say the food wasn't all that good for the price it had, 40 dollars for a bandeja paisa when they normally cost 20, the pan dulce had old guava jelly on it pretty dry to my opinion and the coffee was good id say that. The breakfast arepa was also good but the other stuff on the menu weren't and the mora juice was a little watered down compared to other places.
I come here often when I’m In town ordered the $9.99 special they charged me almost $21.00 saying I was late on ordering some food instead of telling me the special was over I feel like she took advantage of me and when she seen I was confused wanted to argue Very terrible service the empanadas were very greasy I usually on order pastries Very bad attitude and service is rotten
Came to this location for a breakfast meal. I've been to plenty of places that serve Colombian breakfast. This is the first place I ever been to where a normal Colombian breakfast that should be less than $15 ended up being more than 50 plus. I understand maybe cost of things may have gone up but that was outrageous pricing. I asked why the lady told me that because I asked for chorizo the price was more. It may know sense but I paid and literally telling everyone if you want a authentic Colombian breakfast do not come to this place. Their prices are ridiculous and make no sense for the type of service that you get here. It took about 10 to 15 minutes just to get the menu and we saw the menu and saw the prices and those were in menu and not the prices that we ended up paying. Just stay away from this place feels like they try to give you the runaround on pricing when their menu says one thing and when you pay another. Definitely not coming back ever.
Food was overpriced. $39 for a bandeja paisa??!!! Also, You automatically get charged 18% gratuity if you sit down and 15% at the counter.. so if you buy an empanada or a bread.. you pay 15%. Lastly, bathrooms very super dirty . Will not be returning
I hate it it is so buns it has horrible food and cooked my steak wrong staff was rude and I hated the atmosphere
Terrible Service – We Left Without Eating We went as a group of 4 people for breakfast, and we were completely ignored. Nobody brought us a menu, and the waitresses saw us sitting there but never came by to ask anything. We waited for 30 minutes and finally decided to leave. One of the waitresses even preferred to slowly clean a table rather than attend to us. Absolutely unacceptable and very unprofessional. Terrible service – we will never come back.
Delicious food but severely understaffed in peak hrs…There are big lines and the same person taking orders has to serve tables , help in the kitchen ,bag food , hand customers requests…Whoever makes employee schedules has no idea how to run a restaurant
Food was old and don’t taste good, we got the bandeja paisa steak was cold, like they unfrozen it at the microwave and after they put it on the plate I got food poisoning my whole vacation was sick and run to ER server only stop twice at our table but they add the 18% gratuity without notice to a table of 3 I don’t mind give a tip if the service was good but the service was terrible. Ketchup was expired aren’t know how they still open health department should take action on this location. This place used to be amazing and the food as well that’s why we was everytime we traveled to Orlando stop by, but this time was a totally nightmare.
The customer service was extremely poor. The server who was taking care of us clearly did not care at all and made us feel uncomfortable from the moment we walked in. She told us they close at 2 PM every Sunday and that they were “still going to take us” but that we would be the last table. However, when I checked Google, it states that the restaurant closes at 4 PM. While we were there, they also refused to let other customers in, saying they close at 2, which is very misleading. The server’s attitude was unwelcoming and dismissive the entire time. It honestly felt like she didn’t care about providing good service, possibly because gratuity is automatically taken out of the final check, whether you receive good service or not. Overall, the experience was disappointing and frustrating. I would not recommend this place based on the poor service and lack of professionalism.
Came here for breakfast, service was meh at best. 3 girls and all three on phones. Food was good. But getting them to bring a pastry afterwards I just sat there watching them on their phones. There were several families there. Here’s the kicker. I went to go pay and the cashier told me the total and told me to “tap” the credit card machine without looking at what I was paying for. So like an idiot I did. I then proceeded to leave them a tip even for their crappy service. I asked for the receipt because she didn’t give it to me, I don’t know why I did but I did. I look at it today and noticed a “service charge” of $11.00 so I basically tipped them $30 for doing nothing. Live and learn but beware paying them and they will try to not let u see there’s a service charge to get more of a tip.
We arrived to the business. Stood and realized we could just grab a table. Over 8 minutes passed as we looked for a waiter. Finally got ahold of one, and ordered. Be aware, this is highly overpriced. I'm never one to look at the price per plate as I'm there for the food. My husband mistakenly chose this restaurant believing it was colombian. It was Velezualian. We ordered 2 La fuente samplers and 1 arepa sampler. 4 drinks. The menu photo showed it a lot bigger than the actual portion served. It literally looked like a kids portion. And fine, we tried to wrap up early as we have another event to get to. We ordered the check. $118. Insanely priced for the food provided.
