My mother and I ate here last Thursday. The food, service and atmosphere were amazing! Our waitress was fantastic. I want to say her name was Ashley and I apologize if it’s not, but she was great. I had the lamb burger (cooked medium) and my mother had the baked lamb meatballs. Both dishes were delicious. Kudos to Universal for providing guests with great dining options at their parks.
No wonder this is the #1 theme park restaurant. Such a fun, mysterious, and inviting atmosphere. The view on the back deck overlooking the water was outstanding. Our waitress was fast, courteous, and informative of everything the restaurant offered. Her suggestions hit every taste bud in the right spot for us. If this restaurant was outside of the theme park it would still be considered a great dining experience. My family enjoyed our dinner and were very pleased. Thank you for everything!
Leeann was our waitress and she was TOP SHELF amazing. Remembering little things like no ice in the water and who wanted decaf coffee vs with caffeine. The food was spectacular. Truly. How does an amusement park restaurant get such high ratings? SERVICE. SERVICE! The chairs are SO HEAVY! And noisy to scootch in or out. The food was remarkable. So many mushrooms in the risotto. Scallops were perfect. We dined on the VIP tour and were not sorry. The desserts, since they were already paid for, amazing. But we absolutely could not finish everything at the meal. There are such a full place. Why Gorge? Does not seem healthy.
Fantastic dining experience; great food and lovely atmosphere. However, Stephen, our server, had phenomenal service and blew the experience out of the water. Huge props to Stephen for providing a fantastic dining experience for all of us. Notably, Stephen was extremely conscious of allergies and kept it so in mind the entire service, that he, midway through, came to us regarding dessert options that would be safe for those with allergies, and was very attentive when the manager arrived (as per Universal policy for allergy-having customers) and informative. Additionally, refilled us constantly despite having a verifiable mountain of work in other areas of the restaurant. Cool dude
I cannot believe this great of quality dining is inside a theme park! We ordered the couscous bowl topped with salmon, per the recommendation of the waitress, and the salmon was some of the best I've had in my life. It was cooked perfectly - crispy on the outside with a melt-in-your-mouth soft and delicate center. Our waitress, Kailyn, was phenomenal and provided the best service possible, even asking the bartender to come up with a mocktail concoction that tickled my taste buds (club soda, pineapple juice, jalapeno and agave syrup, topped with fresh jalapeno and an orange slice). We finished off our meal with the fig creme brulee, with had the perfect balance of sweetness, as well as cups of coffee that were garnished with a rock candy sugar stick. Everything was outstanding and we will definitely come back on our next visit! 100/10
Fantastic! The braised beef flatbreads was one of the best flatbreads I ever had. The ingredients complimented each other well, perfect distribution of toppings and flavors and the bread was cooked to perfection. The Spanakopita dip was savory and the pita bread was delightful, perfect outside crisp and soft inside. The lamb meatballs were excellent but the value was a little hard to justify in comparison to the other options, as it only came with 3 so if you are a larger family may result in someone going without - more meatballs or a cheaper price would make this a great option. Service was great.
Mostly when I go to restaurants in Universal you expect treats or candy but with when we went to mythos for our 1rst night in universal we get incredible Greek food but it’s also hamburgers. If you’re in universal I HIGHLY recommend this place. I also like infrastructure so because this is also in a cave it’s cool atmosphere. Service was phenomenal with getting our food quick service in general. Overall 9.5/10
This is a must do while in Universal. I will not spoil the inside but whomever designed this building deserves an award. Some of the best food in the park. Pay the extra few bucks and get a truly elevated dining experience.
Our server Kameron was the best. He made sure we were taken care of consistently. We had food allergies and the chef and staff made sure our needs were met. Our favorites were the crispy salmon (my son said best ever) and I enjoyed the couscous bowl with chicken. We also enjoyed the lamb hummus appetizer.
If you are looking for a great place to eat salmon, this place is for you! I rarely order salmon at restaurants because they do not cook it how I like. The salmon was cooked to perfection, had crisp on the skin and the sauce accommodating it was fabulous 👌. My son and wife enjoyed their meals and the service was great. These guys even got us in before our reservation. 5 stars, would recommend and go back.
This is an easy five star! The quality and flavor of the food is phenomenal! Best octopus I’ve ever eaten. And the balsamic flavor combined with chargrilling the chicken sandwich is yum! Also, great service and atmosphere! Keep up the good work! Worth the wait and reservation time.
Food was excellent and brought out very quickly. Service was very attentive and friendly. The dining experience was very unique and we really enjoyed our lunch here. Our favorite place to eat so far. Highly recommend!
Had read up on this location being one of the key places to eat among Universals properties and it lived up to expectations. I enjoyed the decor of the restaurant with its Posideon-like theme. The Swordfish on the menu sounded tempting but the Fish of the day option went with instead since it was Halibut. Very Fresh, perfectly cooked and flavored. Well balanced and enjoyed it very much. Tried two of the cocktails, the Pyrock and the Blizzrock. Enjoyed both. Hard to say which favored, I might lean towards the Pyrock as it reminded me of a good freckled lemonade with some elements of a Poppin Purple lemonade combined. Aunt had a coffee, an Americana and commented on it being very very good. Served on a special cup that Vienna coffee brand is known for. Our server Nikki was very fun and helpful despite some near clumsy accidents.on my part. The "It's a water ride.." comment was quite funny and clever. Had the Gooey desert she mentioned was popular, it didn't disappoint either. I don't normally do these but, when in Rome. The Chocolate and the Peanut Butter with the banana flavors were just a delight. If these are flavors enjoy, won't disappoint either. Being on the upper $$ of dining expect that sort of bill, but the quality is certainly there to justify why it does. Will certainly be spot in visit going forward when at the Parks again.
Wow 5 stars for everything hands down the best theme park meal I’ve ever had . It wasn’t crazy overpriced either for the quality oh the food and service from the staff. I got the salmon, and my husband got the grilled cheese. the atmosphere was really nice too like you were on the inside of a very beautiful clam shell. I’m very happy I went !
This place is such a nice break from the parks that I remembered it from a visit a decade ago. It didn't disappoint! 🙌 As far as pricing goes, it's worth it in my opinion (compared to other theme park restaurants). The bill was $115 for 1 appetizer, 3 entrees, 1 soft drink, and 1 non-alcoholic specialty drink.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Mythos. Not only was the food delicious and the atmosphere fantastic but I have a food allergy. I asked the waitress to leave an item off because of this. They went out of their way to make sure my food was correct. Including have the kitchen come out and verify it was my only allergy and specially mark my food. Thank you for going above and beyond making my food safe! I would recommend the lamb hummus and scallop and wild mushroom risotto.
Good quality food and an excellent break from theme park food. They have air condition indoor dining with a view outside as well as patio seating. This place is rated the number one theme park restaurant for several years in a row now. we had outstanding service from our waiter, Grant. He helped us with my new selections as well as giving advice for us for our next steps throughout the park. Our group had the grilled cheese and tomato soup and chicken and the bacon cheeseburger. The bacon cheeseburger have excellent flavor. The grilled cheese was really good, but I do think I prefer mine separate from soup. And the chicken is very moist and tender with a good flavor. We had citrus baklava and crème brûlée. The crème brûlée was pretty good-I like a little firmer crème-it was carmelized nicely. We were not impressed with the baklava. I do recommend reservations. We had reservations for 3 PM and there was a 30 to 45 minute wait out front. This was in the month of July on Wednesday.
I dined at Mythos on 12/5 during a recent Universal vacation. Leeann was my server and made the entire experience absolutely wonderful. Throughout my meal, she checked in on me and chatted about the parks, including EPIC, to help give advice and suggestions for my visit. The food - as always - was perfection; the Pad Thai was delicious and I'm still dreaming about the bread pudding. I know there is talk about changes for Mythos due to revamping the Lost Continent and I will be sad to see that happen. When it does, I hope Leeann (and the other staff) are taken care as they absolutely deserve it for all the work and effort they put in to serving customers.

Had a reservation when we visited on October 8th, got seated quickly after arriving. Probably only waited a few minutes after arriving. Greek salad and beef medallions were a nice break from regular theme park food. Cool atmosphere inside. Service was good. I’d return.

We dined at Mythos for Valentines Day this year. It was our first time there. The restaurant itself was beautiful. I loved the cave feel with the water sounds in the background and the lighting was perfect. Our waiter, Simo, did a great job serving us and answering questions for us. Our food was good but not great. Would definitely try a different dish on our next visit. Overall, a nice upscale option for theme park dining. Worth the experience at least once.
Mythos Restaurant blends immersive design with surprisingly solid food for a theme park setting. The stonework and waterfall views create a mythical vibe that’s hard to beat, especially when paired with attentive service and a menu that leans Mediterranean with a few bold surprises. The grilled lamb meatballs and semolina-crusted calamari were standouts—flavorful, well-balanced, and plated with care. Even the bread service felt intentional, with dips that complemented the starters without overwhelming them. The ambiance alone makes it feel like a tucked-away escape from the park’s usual bustle. Not every dish was a hit, though. The gnocchi Bolognese leaned heavy, more comfort than finesse, and the fish tacos lacked the punch you'd expect from a signature item. Still, the overall experience was memorable, and the seasonal Latin Flair Trio added a welcome cultural twist that felt more curated than gimmicky. The pacing of service, the ability to accommodate dietary needs, and the fact that dinner quality held up even close to closing hours all contributed to a meal that felt elevated without being pretentious. If you're looking to elevate your park meal beyond burgers and fries, Mythos is a worthy stop. It’s not just about escaping the crowds—it’s about stepping into a space that respects both flavor and atmosphere. For families, couples, or solo diners who want a break from the usual theme park fare, Mythos delivers a refreshingly grounded experience that’s well worth the detour.

Great interiors; and food prices are on point according to that. Service was great. Food was ok. Glad to see vegetarian options. Would recommend visiting once.

Disappointed with this restaurant. Looks nice but no atmosphere and food is average. Had a burger which had no taste at all. Tasted like it was frozen and thawed, so little taste.

Food Review – 4 Stars Appetizer – Calamari: Delicious and not overly chewy, which can sometimes be an issue with calamari. The calamari itself was a 5/5, but the sauce brought it down slightly to about a 4.5/5. Still a great starter overall. Main Entrée – Braised Chicken Rasta Pasta: 3/5 The plantain on top actually had more flavor than the entire dish. There wasn’t a lot of chicken, although the pieces that were on the plate were cooked well. Overall, the dish just lacked seasoning and depth of flavor. ⸻ Service Review – 3 Stars Let me set the scene. We arrived at 4:50 PM for our 5:00 PM reservation and checked in with Bianca (the hostess). Our party had three people. She informed us that we couldn’t be seated early but that our table would be ready at our reservation time, which was completely fine. When 5:00 PM came, we noticed other parties being called, but not ours. Around 5:05 PM, I went back up to the desk to confirm that we were checked in. Bianca checked her iPad (their table management system) and said, “Oh, your table is ready,” and then grabbed our menus. We asked if we could have a booth. She told us it would require an additional wait, so we accepted the table we were given. However, once seated we noticed that there was already a booth set for three people nearby (see photo). We ordered our appetizer and entrées, and the booth remained unoccupied the entire time we were dining. No one was seated there. ⸻ Manager Response After dinner, we spoke with the manager, Jamie. He agreed that our request for a booth was reasonable, especially since the restaurant was not full or particularly busy. There were multiple open tables available, and it wasn’t like we were requesting something specific like a window seat or a quiet corner. He provided 25% off our meal, which I greatly appreciated. Because of how he handled the situation, I adjusted the service rating to 3 stars instead of the 1 star I initially felt it deserved. ⸻ Atmosphere – 5/5 The atmosphere was fantastic. The restaurant had beautiful “Lost Continent” vibes and the overall aesthetic was impressive. My only small complaint is that the women’s restroom stalls have large gaps, which is a personal pet peeve of mine. It didn’t ruin the experience, but it was noticeable. ⸻ ⭐ Overall: Great atmosphere, a strong appetizer, and an okay main dish. Service had a hiccup at the start but was partially redeemed by the manager’s response
Mythos is a 10-time winner of #1 theme park restaurant in the world by Theme Park Insider. Of course I’d have to dine here before leaving. It’s a very interesting concept with small indoor ponds and waterfalls in the exterior; I think it’s Poseidon-themed. “This award-winning, full-service restaurant offers exceptional modern cuisine in a mythical setting that sparks the imagination. Featuring a mix of Mediterranean, Asian and American fare, Mythos’ casually elegant menu includes options like Greek salad, pad Thai, sandwiches, burgers, and more. The exterior features towering rock formations, cascading waterfalls and ancient figures carved into the side of the restaurant. The cavernous interior creates the feel of a craggy grotto on a distant ocean. Outdoor seating offers a spectacular view of the park’s inland sea and colorful lands.” We got: Spanakopita Dip 14 USD A savory blend of spinach, feta cheese, lemon and fresh herbs, served hot with fresh pita chips seasoned with za’atar spice, with fresh cucumber, tomato and olives Fork, Knife, and Spoon Grilled Cheese 22 USD A unique presentation of a classic 3 cheese sandwich set in a vine ripe tomato soup with crispy pork belly and garnished with house made chips’ Mythos Signature Lamb Burger 24 USD Lamb patty, brioche bun, halloumi cheese, pickled red onion, arugula, tzatziki sauce, served with French fries Pad Thai 31 USD Fried wonton, rice noodles, mixed vegetables, chicken & shrimp, mild sweet and sour peanut sauce Sea Scallop & Corn Risotto 41 USD Sweet corn purée, jalapeño bacon crumb, spicy ajvar, fresh corn, Grana Padano Dishes tasted alright and the prices were alright too. The pad thai is the most popular dish here, along with the grilled cheese and lamb burger. I don’t recommend the lamb burger as it’s quite gamey. My favourite is the grilled cheese.
First time here 2 weeks ago, I really thought it would be better than it was with all the 5 star reviews. Our server was great, very attentive and corrected any issues but the food was lackluster except for one thing. Loved their version of the spinach artichoke dip with pita bread on the side but I ordered a kids meal for my daughter as well. She couldn't even bite into the chicken tenders, who knows how long they were sitting out. The fries were good. She also ordered a mango lassi which was more like some slightly thick mango juice. For anyone who has had both, there is definitely a difference and that was not a lassi. I will say the restaurant is beautiful and our server was great, he took care of the issues right away and even got my daughter some more fries while she waited for fresh tenders but overall I'd give the place a 3 star due to the prices of the food. Old food should not be served. Period.

It's fun to look at. Our waiter was on point. The food was pretty good for park food. In the real world, I would have rated lower. The beer on tap was so bad we had to send it back. It's a nice spot to tuck into for some quiet though. Kids menu is pretty limited but good if you've got picky eaters.
First time experience, saw the sign 10 time winner for #1 resort restaurant. We reserved a spot for lakeside view and ended up having to wait another 5 mins because they didn’t have any spots available for our time?? Interior design and atmosphere were great though and the waiter was really friendly. Almost AN HOUR wait time for food. This really took off a star. We were waiting for so long and it just wasn’t it. Pricing was ok for the amount of food we got but wasn’t worth that big of a wait time, and it wasn’t crowded, I cannot imagine rush hour. Food was good though.
