Best meatballs and meat sauce I've ever had, and I've had a lot! It took a while for someone to notice we were there. Wait staff were a bit aloof. Unpleasant scent at the front door. But the food was fantastic. Price a little spendy, but not too bad when you consider you're in the middle of the biggest tourist city in Florida.
Loved dining here, it was a while experience! The wait staff is fantastic and the food tasted amazing. Chicken Marsala had fresh, firm mushrooms and the sauce was deep and rich with a smoky flavor. The fresh spinach had slivered ROASTED garlic on top which was a really clever addition. Mashed potatoes were buttery and yummy. The bread was great as well and served with both olive oil and balsamic. Tiramisu was light, fluffy with a solid espresso flavor. I'm used to seeing it ina square but I loved this presentation as well, an oblong shape, enough for two people.
Excellent choice. Locally and family owned. The salad was bright and fresh, bread warm and homemade. The lobster linquine was so rich and depth of flavor but very light. Lobster bits were throughout. The shrimp and scallops were perfectly cooked. The tiramisu was light and full of flavor.
My first visit at Ciao Italia for Magical Dining, and it was great. The serving sizes were ample, and the meal tasted homemade and fresh. You can tell they take great care with each dish. The employees made us feel completely at home. A fantastic gem in Orlando!
Here for my birthday delicious food great service by Jose and all the staff. Will be back soon food is delicious NY city vibes love it excellent, excellent and then some a must visit while in Orlando
Excellent food & very friendly attentive service. Chicken parmesan & clam linguini were delicious as were the desserts. We highly recommend.
We went to them on a whim and were lucky. The waitstaff was courteous and attentive; they maintained genuine conversation without rushing us. The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting, making you want to stay.
Overall this restaurant was a hidden gem in the chaos of Orlando…my family and I went there for dinner on vacation and were pleasantly surprised with the incredible food especially nestled into a small strip mall. I would recommend getting the cheesy garlic bread as an appetizer and honestly, all the entrees are delicious my family had a large variety of different meals from the lamb chops to the seafood ravioli, and were full and enjoyed their meals thoroughly. I would recommend this restaurant for delicious Italian food and a way to escape the chaos of Orlando.
Incredible food- as Italian food snobs we were blown away especially late on a Saturday night. The person in our party who is a notoriously picky eater and tough critic LOVED their meal as did everyone else. We got the lobster bisque, Caesar salad, garlic bread, lasagna, short ribs, and the pasta special (filet w/ tortellini in pink pesto sauce) and all were fantastic. A hidden gem in Orlando for sure.
Genuinely a great find in a very unassuming location. Really good food, knowledgable service, and reasonable prices for the location/quality. Would definitely go again but I hate Orlando so will not be back.
We had a fantastic Magical Dining Night there. The lasagna was incredible, and the tiramisu was one of the greatest I've ever eaten. The restaurant had a charming, old-world atmosphere, and the staff was quite polite. It felt like dining in Italy; can't wait to return!
I absolutely cannot say enough about this fabulous little Italia restaurant! Amazing! Outstanding! Exquisite! They all describe this restaurant, but not to its true Italian taste and authenticity. It’s a little hidden gem but well worth the effort; GPS took us right to it. Bread and an olive oil with spices & wine vinegar was oh my goodness, out of this world! Tons of options are available for drinks, but the Tuscano Italian bottled water was clear and crisp, just wonderful. My hubby got the spaghetti with homemade seasoned meatballs & sauce, which he described as very good. 😊 he’s incredibly easy to please no matter where we eat. I ordered the “special,” Ravioli con Brasato E Tartufo with homemade ravioli stuffed with braised short rib & cheese tortellini, wild mushrooms with truffle cream sauce. Listen, this was, by far the most true Italian meal I have ever had from the taste, to the softness of the ravioli, the short ribs and that sauce. Oh goodness! I’ve eaten at other Italian restaurants claiming to be “authentic,” but now I highly doubt that. And, I’m not talking about the common establishment we all know in every town. I do not really care for a lot of mushrooms, but I am so glad I did not have them omitted; they were exquisite! They were tasty, soft and not mushy or musky like the store bought mushrooms. Even if the ravioli was not in this meal, I would have loved it anyway; literally, those mushrooms were good. The restaurant was inviting from the moment we walked in with staff greeting us and explaining the menu with the “specials,” and knowledgeable about everything on there with all ingredients. The vibe was quaint and quiet with changeable white to color table lamps, fine linens and a perfect place for a couple, a group or a party. The decor was true to the cuisine, very clean and well maintained. The two staff members we met, Ricardo & Sean, we’re beyond incredible. They provided the most excellent customer service, which for me, is an absolute must. It was such a pleasure to meet them both. The pricing was comparable to the quality of the meal, service, vibe and all attributes. We loved everything about this restaurant. I’ve already saved its location on my GPS. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town!
I made a reservation for 5 people but I did it for the wrong day. However, they made a table for us. I’ll admit that the woman there could’ve been a little nicer but who cares. The service was good and so was the food. You DEFINITELY need a reservation for this place because it’s a small place. The decor is very nice and it feels cozy.
What a fabulous hidden gem this is! Having just spent a few weeks in Italy, I was skeptical about eating here. I had the Spaghetti Pesto E Burrata and it was fabulous. The pasta and pesto were wonderful and that dollop of Burrata cheese made it even better. The service was great even though the restaurant was very busy. One of my friends ordered the Limoncello cake for dessert and it was tasty!!
We are in Orlando and I googled Italian restaurants near me and a few came up. This one caught my eye. We made reservations through open table and upon arrival, we were hit with old world charm. What a welcoming, warm and pleasant environment as well as very attentive staff. We ordered antipaste, calamari (not fried) and lobster bisque to start. Everything was on point and amazing. For our dinners we ordered veal piccata, chicken parm, chicken Scaloppini, and a salad. These entrees did not disappoint. What did disappoint was the fact we were too full for dessert. We will have to come back and try the desserts out another day. Bottom line, I am super picky about my food and I know good food when I taste it. This my friends is amazing. This place will not disappoint! So, if you’re in the mood for some great Italian food, dine at this local establishment and support local restaurants when you can.
Classy cute cozy and elegant all in one! 10/10 recommended; the food is delicious the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is elegant. When I visit orlando again I will definitely come back☺️

Loved everything about this experience! The food was absolutely delicious and very generous portion sizes. It was very tastefully decorated with cute mood lighting at each table. The best part about the experience was the stellar service. Everyone was super helpful and nice and checked on us to make sure we were good and didn't need anything. Excellent service and amazing food. Don't miss out!
I wish this place was near our home in SC! Phenomenal wine list, if you love Italian wines, which we do! Price point for wines is fair. Sassicaia at $375 is what we'd expect & only marginally higher than what we paid for it at the Consortium in Italy. Excellent food. I forgot to get picture of the carpaccio but it was great. I had the shrimp scampi with crab & hubs had chicken parmesan. We easily could have shared but we each wanted something different. Will definitely return the next time we're in tiwn.
We hosted a party of 10 and had a great experience. My husband was attending a meeting at the convention center and these were professional colleagues from all over the country. Guests actually thanked me for finding such a nice restaurant. The service was excellent and it was very nice to find a restaurant that had an authentic atmosphere in an area where many restaurants are more geared towards tourists. It is located about a mile from the convention center so it’s a great option for out of town guests looking for something that is reasonably priced and welcoming.
Im from NC and came to this restaurant while on vacation for my birthday. I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana, and it was absolutely delicious! The chicken was perfectly breaded—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The marinara sauce tasted fresh and homemade, with just the right balance of sweetness and tang. The melted mozzarella and parmesan on top were gooey and flavorful, complementing the dish beautifully. It was served over a generous portion of pasta, cooked al dente, and the portion size was more than satisfying. You can really tell the kitchen puts care into every detail. Definitely one of the best Chicken Parm dishes I’ve had in a long time..comforting, flavorful, and authentically Italian. To top it off they sang HBD to me and the chocolate cake was so delicious! Great service! I wish I was able to go often!
Probably one of the best takeout experiences I’ve had in my entire life. Small loaf of bread + oil free of charge with the pasta I paid for? That is love and thoughtfulness. They want you to have the experience you would’ve had if you dined in.
This hidden gem is phenomenal! The customer service was outstanding and the food was immaculate! I took my boyfriend here for a valentines/ birthday dinner! Our server was so nice and made sure we knew what the specials were! 10/10 definitely recommend coming here!
So glad to have found this wonderful Italian restaurant tucked away in a small strip mall. The food was amazing! The chicken marsala was out of this world delicious. Chicken parm, and the special of the day were top notch. The tiramisu and tartufo desserts were a perfect ending to our meal. They have a nice wine selection and prices were very reasonable. Will definitely return next time we are in town.
We were only in town for the one night. We arrived after seeing the Jeff Dunham show so it was around 8:30 PM. Went online, looking for something that appeal to us and saw chow and decided to give it a go. Oh my gosh, we are so glad we did.The ambience was wonderful. The only thing that would’ve made it better is if they played the music a teeny bit lower. The food was five star. I had the lobster bisque and beef Capasso, hubby had the special of the day which was a butternut squash ravioli with six gorgeous scallops. The bread was amazing. And the dessert we ordered with tiramisu to go. We had it for breakfast this morning. It was fabulous! The staff was very attentive. Very reasonably priced. Would definitely return.

It was very good. Took them a few moments to realize that I was there. After that, the entire wait staff was very attentive. The meat tray was fantastic, I ordered the lasagna with the meat sauce. It was definitely fantastic, though it got lost with all of the meat sauce. I'd recommend less of theeat sauce. I ordered the tiramisu to go. I will definitely be eating it shortly. Definitely a great spot for date nights. Very quiet and romantic.
I went for dinner by myself while attending a conference in Orlando. It was an easy walk from the hotel. Service was great. Food was very good. The bread was delicious. The wine by the glass was a very small pour and fairly pricey. The Ceasars salad was also very good, but not included in the price of the meal.
Some of the best authentic Italian food I've had! (And an Italian friend cooked dinner for us before so I know what it tastes like) we came for magical dining and the menu was great! The brushetta was perfectly crunchy and tomatoes were so fresh. The Sacchettoni pasta with filet tips was so savory, the tips were tender and the pasta was perfectly cooked. Only thing is the entire dish is one flavor so with the big portions it became a bit boring. (That's why sharing with family is such a great idea!) Chicken was great and so was the short rib. The portions were more on the big side and the dessert was a little too big for our full stomachs. Our waiter forgot to serve us the olive oil and vinaigrette with the bread but other than that, service was good. Will definitely come again.
Interesting location, just off I-Drive in a strip center. Next to a pizza place! Food was good. Service way above average since the place was virtually empty at 7pm on a Friday. Disappointing that they aren't licensed for anything but beer and wine. Calamari app was fair (not fried). I'm not a salmon fan but gave it a try. It was quite good. My buddy said his ravioli was good. Lobster/crab and he added shrimp. Hey, he lives on an island, sooooo. Canoli was excellent as was the double expresso. Admittedly, we feasted, but the bill was "big city" high. Chicago? Sure. Orlando? Mmmm, not so much. Try it, but wallet-beware.
Salad was delicious. Lobster bisque was flavorful but could have used a few small pieces of lobster. Italian bread was excellent with a crisp crust and soft interior. Veal parmigiana needed to be crisper and the marinara was flavorful enough but very thin. Not my favorite but OK. Large portions. Service was good. Ice tea came in a bottle and so no refills. Looked odd on the table and unusual for Florida. Would not have a problem going back if I was in the area.

This restaurant is nice, but I felt like there were some disappointments. The food wasn't cooked to order. It literally came out two minutes after we ordered it. I ordered the "Special" with scallops and shrimp. The pasta was a disappointing fettuccine noodle which didn't really work with the thin consistency of the sauce. The flavor was good, but wasn't what I expected. The temperature of the dish was also inconsistent. It was hotter on top and not so hot towards the bottom. My fiance got the spaghetti bolognese. He liked his and said it was good flavor. The bread was very good. It was a rustic type bread. Although, we didn't get it right away when we sat down. So we didn't enjoy it as a before the meal treat. The service was also lacking. We weren't asked how our meal was or asked to refill drinks. That was very disappointing. Based on all the disappointments and the $39 price of the special alone, I wasn't told upon ordering, I wouldn't return.
I would give it five stars if I evaluated food only, because the food was excellent! I ordered eggplant parmigiana (I often order it in Italian restaurants) and it's the best eggplant parm I've had so far - eggplant was soft and airy and not overloaded with oil, as it absorbs a lot. The pasta was perfectly al dente. Garlic bread was delicious and fresh! And the salad, seemingly simple, had a very yummy dressing. The restaurant seemed a bit dark though. They could have used small lights if they wanted to make a cozier ambiance. Music would be nice too. The service was good but not the best. I'm not sure if it was a culture/personality difference or the server didn't seem like he cared much. I felt like he was performing his duties in a mechanical manner, like steps he needed to check off and move on. I didn't feel much engagement there, which kinda put a damper on my experience. Other staff members, not sure if it was a manager or something - were nice and more engaging.
The service was a little rough. The food was good, but not consistently good. For example, chicken parmesan was great, but spagetti that came with it was not that great. Tomato sauces were too ketchupy. Also, to the waiters: if meals come with salads or sides, don't make a confusion by asking if a client wants a salad and making us think we have to pay extra, if we say yes. Say it is included or just bring the damn salad... 🙄 Also, we didn't like adding automatically 20% to groups over 5 people. We are always good with tips, but maybe other people not... however, 5 people is a pretty small group. It would make sense to 8 or 10+ people... They also had another suggested line for more tips after the automatically included 20% tip... Also, there was no music in the background. I wish they would play something soft. It definitely affected the athmosphere, made it more business like, but the dinner was late at night and definitely most people there were not sitting there for business 🙄 We spent there quite a lot of money and I just wish it was more smooth and enjoyable. Would I go back? I probably would... So, I guess it is a hit or miss place.
I was not impressed by anything here. The location was in a strip mall. The service was a bit rude for my taste. The food was mediocre at best. The prices were on the high side. I felt the server was trying to bully me to take my food back to the hotel. I didn't like it much and I wouldn't have eaten it since I was flying home the next morning. 4 times he asked if I was sure and left it in front of me when I asked for it to be taken away, and I "was sure".
It's a lovely place in a shopping mall. I came here for a business dinner. The restaurant decor was warm and modern, and the service was prompt! We ordered chicken Parmigiana, my go-to Italian meal, and I can say it was average chicken parmesan. The charcuterie was also lovely, as was their spring Salad. However, the best item was the warm bread they put on the table. Overall, it's a good average restaurant for Italian cuisine.

Don't Go For The Meatballs First let me say. The evening was not a total loss despite the meatballs. They seated our large party within 10 minutes without a reservation...and they were busy. The service was very good and our waiter was attentive and engaging. Others in our party had good meals. There were 4 people who ordered the veal and one other who had the chicken. All served hot and they were enjoyed. My spaghetti was cold to warm and my meatballs were rubbery and somewhat tasteless. In my opinion, an Italian restaurant should be able to serve this dish with ease. They did not. Our desserts were fantastic. Limoncello cake was so wonderful. If I was local I would give them a try again.
The service was great, very nice atmosphere but disappointed with meal. Ordered Chicken Marsala. 1 small chicken breast and the chicken was dry. Small portion of pasta as well though the marsala sauce was good. Glad there was bread. Maybe it was just an off evening but even the chains give larger, portion controlled main courses.
Sooooo I am not sure of the server Manuel was having a bad night but he was VERY blunt and short with us. He wouldn't tell us his name. My husband asked for limes for his water and Manuel cut him off and said no limes. It was weird. Like he acted like he didn't want to be there and took it out on us. It was such a turnoff that we didn't want to have dessert or apps. The specials is what we got...pork chop parmigiano, and a seafood pasta. The pasta- which should be the star was not the greatest. It needed salt and pepper-so bland. The pork chop was amazing. The seafood pasta was elevated when my husband added pepper. The location is not the greatest. Parking is terrible. The location is small. I would not go back. Skip it.
The food was good but unfortunately the service was unforgettably disturbing. We were seated right away when we arrived for our reservation but then I watched other parties who arrived after us be serviced before us. I overheard the waiter go over the "special of the day" with a party near us but when he came to our table he failed to mention anything about the special. I had to bring it to his attention and he used the excuse that he thought the other waiter had already told us... Food was flavorful but my husband's risotto was undercooked and gritty. The seafood and tomato sauce atop of the risotto was delicious. He let the waiter know, who then had it remade, but returned with another undercooked dished and told us "Italians eat their food al dente." My husband being a chef himself already knew what it was at that time. He ordered another meal instead. I had the seafood linguine which was very good. The sauce was flavorful and they put enough sauce in the dish. Usually I have to order extra sauce with my pasta. The scallops in the pasta were delicious and cooked perfectly... I watched the waiters box up other parties' leftovers for them but for us they did not. He left the to-go box on the table for us to do ourselves. For the amount of money we spent, I expected this service to be done. I listened to the waiters go over the desserts with other parties as well but we were not even asked about wanting dessert. After my husband explained to the waiter that his risotto was undercooked, he started avoiding our table altogether. I left feeling very bothered. It's very unfortunate that in 2022 we still have to deal with this type of treatment. We would have gladly returned solely based on the food but I refuse to spend my hard earned money where I'm not wanted.
I visited this restaurant for Magical dining and my guests and I were underwhelmed. I really wanted to like this restaurant but it just wasn’t as good as other Magical dining experiences we have had. Our table asked about a couple of wines on the menu but they did not have them. It got to the point where we had to ask - well what do you have? We enjoyed our appetizers and desserts but we all were underwhelmed by our entrees. I had a pasta with steak tips. It was way too salty and partly due to the waiter reaching over me with Parmesan and sprinkling it on before asking me. He poured in two large spoonfuls before I could even stop him. Lastly, I was so thirsty for water by the end of my meal. The waiter never came around to refill water glasses. I had finished my glass of wine and he also never asked me if I would like another. I think this restaurant has potential but perhaps a lesson on etiquette for their staff should be the starting point.
Great Marsala sauce and room for big groups, but the staff did not tell us the rules and the service was slow. I will not go back. We came as a group of 12. We stood at the host stand for 20 minutes with no one telling us why. When I stopped a waiter and asked, he said we had to wait because a table was in front of us and the whole group must be there to order. No one told us that rule at the start. It felt like we were being ignored. When service did start it was slow. The servers only came to drop food and then left. We asked to split the bill and the server ran off after leaving it. That made paying hard and made us want to leave. The Marsala sauce was amazing. It was one of the best I have had. The chicken was small and dry though. We picked this place because it could take a group of 12 and no other place nearby could. That is a good thing. But the bad talk and slow care made the night bad. I would not go back. Avoid this place if you want good service. --- Suggestions for the Restaurant on Posting Policy and Service • Post the rule where guests see it at the host stand and on the web page for bookings. • Tell large groups the rule when they arrive so they do not wait in the dark. • Put the rule on the menu or a small card at the table for big groups.
I rarely write negative reviews, but when an experience is this bad, I feel the need to share it so others don’t go through the same. From the start, the food was not good. The pasta had a rancid cheese flavor, the salad wasn’t fresh, and the shrimp tasted strange and not fresh at all. On top of that, the prices are high and the quality doesn’t justify them. The worst part was that I found a hair in my salad. When I informed the waiter, he took the plate away but then came back to the table holding the hair in his hand, telling me that no one in the kitchen had long hair because they were all men. It was an extremely unpleasant, disrespectful, and unnecessary situation. I found his behavior very unprofessional and it left me feeling really uncomfortable. I went there excited after reading so many good reviews, but unfortunately, the experience was completely disappointing. The food, the service, and the attitude of the staff made it a night I’d rather not repeat.

xtremely disappointed. One small salad, one main course, and two glasses of wine cost us €146. The food was average at best and absolutely not worth the price. To make matters worse, when I went back to ask for a receipt, I was told they couldn’t give one because it was a cash transaction. That is unacceptable. This felt like being taken advantage of. Would not recommend ⸻ Thank you for responding. We were dining at your restaurant on Friday, 2nd of January. We arrived at 19:45 and were served our main course at 20:27. I have time-stamped photos from the evening which I am happy to share if required. The issue is not just the cost, but the lack of transparency. When I returned to request a receipt, I was explicitly told that one could not be provided because it was a cash transaction. This was stated clearly to me and is why I found the situation unacceptable. Since then, we have discussed this experience with other hospitality professionals, including staff at Maggiano’s Little Italy, where the following evening we had a starter, two main courses, one beer, and two glasses of wine for $138, with excellent food and service. Every person we spoke to was shocked by both the price we paid at your restaurant and the explanation given regarding the receipt, stating they had never heard of such a practice and that it appeared we had been taken advantage of. The more we reflect on the experience, the stronger that feeling becomes. This was not a case of misunderstanding the menu or pricing — it was the combination of excessive cost, average food, and refusal to provide a receipt that led to this review. We stand by our experience.
