Blue Dragon is praised for its atmosphere, attentive service (especially Ralph, Bryan, and Niyah), and flavorful dishes. The Korean fried wings, snowflake potstickers, and mooncake dessert are popular. Some found the Tonkotsu ramen broth lacking and some dishes spicy.
Tip: Make a reservation, especially if visiting Epic Universe. Be aware that some dishes may have a bit of spice.
I was lucky enough to be in epic universe during the soft opening of this restaurant and I was so excited to snag a reservation. The service was phenomenal for being the first day that they were operating! The staff were all super friendly and excited to bring this place to life. The restaurant itself was so cool with floating lanterns and a starry night sky. I highly recommend stopping in to check it out even if you aren’t going to stay for a meal. The blue dragon is not a standard courses place. Rather than doing an appetizer and an entree they encourage you to order and share dishes. They bring the food out as soon as it’s done instead of waiting for it to all come out together, which helps with the sharing aspect. The staff was super helpful in explaining all of this up front so that there was no confusion on our part as guests. Every single thing we tried was delicious! The soup dumpling filling was so flavorful I loved them. The smashed cucumbers had the perfect spice and tartness and had went well with the peanuts accompanying them. The Korean wings were amazingly crispy and I loved the spice level. As a local who enjoys domu’s wings it’s nice to see Korean fried chicken getting some spotlight in the parks. The dan dan noodles had a good spice but weren’t unbearably hot. The shrimp peanut noodles were also amazing but very rich due to the peanut, and fried shrimp, so I couldn’t eat more than a few bites. Ironically my least favorite thing was the orange chicken, which is obviously a safer choice on the menu for folks who may want something they know. Frank was our server and we was absolutely spectacular! He was so personable, funny, and accommodating. He recognized my family hours after we had chatted outside about the restaurant and went above and beyond when waiting on us. If he is your server then you’re in great hands! We loved this restaurant so much we actually went back yesterday and tried some sake and a few more menu items. The beef xian noodles were the spiciest thing we had on the menu and they were pretty spicy, so be careful. The pot stickers were the best pot stickers I have ever had! The wontons in chili oil were well balanced and had a great kick, but not overpowering. I cannot wait to go back to epic in the future to explore more of the menu!
Our recent visit to Blue Dragon was made truly special thanks to our server, Kealeigh. She was incredibly attentive throughout our entire dinner. Her recommendations were spot-on and genuinely enhanced our meal. After a long day at the park, her friendly and helpful service was the perfect way to end the day. We left feeling taken care of and very impressed. Thank you, Kealeigh, for making our dinner so wonderful and for my unforgettable tiny keepsake!
You have to make a reservation or you can sit at the bar if there’s available space, but the atmosphere is remarkable, lots of neon signage and great lighting. The food and service is excellent as well, literally something for everybody and I highly recommend the pork soup dumplings. A little pricey but totally worth it!
We visited this restaurant on 10/14/2025 while on our first ever visit to all of the universal parks. It was pretty good..The vibe was really cool but our server Loren was AMAZING! He was so nice to us and took the time to chat with us and give up really good advice and tips on how to spend the rest of our day at EPIC Universe! He was so kind! I would go back just to chat it up with him some more! He was such happy vibe to be around definitely made us feel welcome! Loren if you see this THANK YOU for all you do and thank you for making our trip even better that day! We appreciate you!!
We ate lunch here, and the food was outstanding. The service was fast and our server was polite and checked on us frequently. We’ll definitely revisit on future trips. Update: We ate here a second time about 3 months after our original visit, and the 5-star review still holds. The food is outstanding and the service was quick. I highly recommend the Dragon Fried Rice. It was a large portion and had excellent flavor.
We decided to reserve a table here rather than Atlantic as that was mostly seafood which my partner is not a big fan of. Upon entry we were greeted with a smile and taken straight to our table, our server Heather couldn't have been any more lovely and had some great recommendations. I got the blood orange chicken which was out of this world and the picture attached is of the pork soup dumplings which again were absolutely amazing. The service we received from Heather was what topped off an amazing visit to this restaurant and we absolutely had to visit guests services to pay her a massive compliment as she couldn't have been any more attentive, checking in on us throughout, bringing new drinks without being asked and overall was just an amazing server. Definitely pay this place a visit if you get the chance, not overly pricey considering a restaurant in a theme park.
Full Service Resturant. Delicious food, probably the best we have had at universal. We ordered 3 small dishes - Sweet and Sour Calamari - Snowflake Potstickers - Wontons in Chili Oil. Beef Xi’an Noodles and a big plates - Crispy Orange Chicken. Best we have ever tasted full of flavour and freshly prepared. The restaurant was calm and the service attentive. Couldn't fault anything.
Extremely stylish pan-Asian restaurant. Fabulous options for Japanese, Chinese and Korean cuisine. Small plates and Dim sum options are delicious, the won tons in chili oil are an easy pick. The large plates and noodles are also outstanding, beef and broccolini is familiar to the North American palate, the beef Xi'an noodles are more exciting and fantastically seasoned. Sake and beer recommendations upon request. Staff is able to make recommendations on dietary restrictions.
Dined here recently and tried the Korean fried wings, snowflake pot stickers, vegetable egg rolls, soup dumplings, orange chicken, beef and broccoli and the passion fruit mooncake for dessert! Everything was delicious!!! The Korean wings were amazing and super crispy, I also really liked the vegetable egg rolls! Soup dumplings were a little heavy on the dough. For an entree, the beef and broccoli is an absolute must try! I also enjoyed the orange chicken, but I would prefer a little more sauce next time. The passion fruit moon cake was different and I really enjoyed it, I can't wait to come back!
Overall would recommend. Just go! The interior is fun and beautiful. Check out the moving lanterns! PRICE: Not sure why all the low reviews….Yes this place is pricier than other restaurants in the park, but that’s the “theme park tax”. Similar to airports, everything is priced higher than what you would normally pay outside of a theme park. It’s still reasonable given the quality of food when compared to a $17 slice of average pizza (for example). FOOD: The food was GREAT! Don’t expect authentic, but they are really trying here. The ramen is very good despite my skepticism of the Waiter’s recommendation (I know authentic Japanese ramen). My only criticism is the fat on the chashu could’ve been rendered a bit more and the broth could’ve been hotter/steamier. The lace potstickers and cucumber apps were also yummy. The Xi’an beef (spicy! It builds!) was really delicious and was recommended by our server, who said he’d tried everything on the menu. The beef and broccoli is apparently one of their top dishes which my friend really enjoyed. The coffee boba drink was SO yummy and not too heavy or sickeningly sweet. The rice pudding dessert was a fan favorite of the table (think mango sticky rice with black sesame ice cream for flair). SERVICE: We had a great waiter (unfortunately forgot his name 😬 older guy with glasses and very funny). He was friendly and helpful with food recommendations. I have a shellfish allergy and the staff was very accommodating and careful to ensure that I did not eat anything shared at the table that may have had shellfish. They went above and beyond to mark the “safe” dishes with a purple toothpick and the chef came out to talk to me as well to discuss the severity of my allergy.
Don't trust the 3.7 score, this place was amazing. Some of the best Korean wings I've had in a while and the moon cake dessert was on another level. The tonkotsu ramen was great also but the broth was missing a little bit of flavor in my opinion, however egg and pork were on point. The server was great and very attentive and the atmosphere was calm and serene with low light...a nice change from the chaos going on in the park itself. Definitely going back for another moon cake next time I visit the park.
We have a Gluten allergy in our group. The Chef came out to the table to confirm that the preparation process for the order would be acceptable. Absolutely professional and white glove level service. ...and yes, the rest of the food was also served with the same level of care...and delicious.
The BEST table service in Epic, hands down if you like Asian food and like moderate spice. I want to preface this review by saying we have eaten at almost every restaurant in Epic / Helios, and your experience here might be entirely influenced on what you try. Expect group dining and shared plates. If you’re like me, I checked the reviews ahead of time to make a solid decision on what to order and what to skip: - Korean Fried Chicken Wings - 100% worth ordering. Double fried to perfection with a sauce that is slightly spiced but really flavorful. Expensive for the portion (4 pcs), but worth it. - Snowflake Pot Stickers - Good pot stickers, and a nice to add to your meal, but nothing groundbreaking. The provided dipping sauce makes them better, and I’d recommend them, but not a must try. - Wontons in Chili Oil- Very good wontons but I wish they had a bit more heat to them. I’d ask for extra chili oil on them next time to bring them to what I’d expect, but others in our group enjoyed them as is. - Xi’An Beef Noodles - Likely the BEST non-desert we ordered. Wonderfully thick noodles, cooked properly and topped with ample amounts of braised beef, spices, sauces, and green onion. There is no cumin in this dish, which is normally present, but nevertheless a MUST TRY. - Beef and Broccoli - Better than what you’d expect! The Chinese style broccoli was really flavorful and cooked well, and the beef was about the same as your typical PF Changs. Worth ordering to round out a meal and for picky eaters. - Banana Napoleon - OH MY GOD. If you get ONE thing here, make it this desert. This absolutely is in the top tier of all desert options at Epic, and you can even order it at the bar. 3 of us shared it after our meal, and honestly I’d come back for this alone. - Baju Tropical Cocktail - I forget the name, but it had a somewhat smokey taste like a mezcal almost, but not as strong. The swizzle stick in it was very cute, and it was pleasant to drink. I wouldn’t necessarily HAVE to order again, but I’d recommend trying it. The service was 10/10 and the most friendly we received at any table service. The team here is outstanding and I highly commend their dedication and patience with dealing with theme park guests, some of whom haven’t eaten at an Asian restaurant before lol
Our first time dining here in Epic. We hit fast foods in the park but this our first time at this restaurant. Check the photos for the atmosphere. Really nice. We loved the food. We had the dumplings, fried rice, orange chicken and a pot of tea. They have a great variety of tea. Our server was attentive and welcoming. We will go back. Check it out.
Top notch atmosphere, food, and service. I did the lessor Japanese whiskey flight. All were very tasty. If I return will do the premium flight. For appetizers the crispy calamari was amazing and plenty to share with 4 people. Wonton. With chili oil was good but I prefer mine with peanut butter- that is more Thai though.
My party and I celebrated my best friend’s Birthday at Epic. For her dinner, she chose this restaurant and it was well worth it. Niyah was amazing! She checked in our party and made sure the birthday girl was well taken care of. The food was exquisite and the atmosphere was astounding. Our Server Yessika is the epitome of exceptional customer service. She was very personable and an absolute delight. Not only did she help with recommendations, but she also kept us well entertained and highly satisfied. I’d like to thank the entire team for making my best friend’s dinner EPIC! *I highly recommend the Sweet and Sour Calamari and Smashed Cucumbers as apps and the Dalgona Khaosan Road cocktail.
Spent a great day at the park and got super hungry of course. This restaurant is amazing. I did not expect this leave of food at the park. Certainly a wonderful surprise that made the day even better. I wasn't sure if exactly what to get so we all got something and we shared at our table. It was a great idea. If you love the cooking and flavors not Asian food you best stop here. Very upscale with a flare of being at your grandma's house. The staff went above and beyond during our meal. Food clcame out in a timely manner and was fresh and hot. The atmosphere was cozy in my opinion and the colors made it relaxing and yet dynamic. Stop on by come hungry leave full with a togo bag. You'll be happy you did.
🐉Great Atmosphere, Great Tea, Great Service🐉 Blue Dragon is one of the only restaurants that requires a reservation at Epic Universe. It's easy to do so on the website, or even same-day. The interior is a gorgeous, low light-dining setting with neon glow, floating paper lanterns, and abstract sakura trees. My waiter was very considerate and attentive, answering all my questions and providing efficient service. The tea is excellent, and I also enjoyed my Tonkatsu Ramen and snowflake potstickers. The Mapo Tofu dish is also good, and I was happy it wasn't too spicy (just the right amount of heat).
We had such a great experience at Blue Dragon at Epic Universe Orlando, and it was all because of Chase, the bartender. He went above and beyond with truly award-winning customer service and an awesome personality. It felt genuine and heartfelt — not just great drinks, but a real connection. We came back the second night for Valentine’s Day with six friends from Pittsburgh, and Chase recognized us right away and gave our group a big, warm hug. That meant a lot. If you’re there, sit at the bar and see Chase. He made our trip unforgettable. Orange chicken was mild spice. Yellow curry Chicken Khao Soi ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant truly impressed us. Even with reservations, we waited about 5-10 minutes to be seated, and it was well worth it. Our waiter was exceptionally attentive and knowledgeable, walking us through the menu and answering all our questions with confidence. We ordered a hot teapot, the Dragon’s Stardust (delicious!), along with the Beef and broccoli and the Tonkotsu ramen; both pictured. Everything arrived quickly, the portions were generous, and the flavors were outstanding. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality of the food and service justified the cost. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and highly recommend this spot.
Great atmosphere and excellent food. The highlight of our meal was the plum tea—absolutely delicious and memorable. We had a reservation and were able to get seated early, which was a nice bonus. The ambiance truly makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a traditional Japanese restaurant, adding to an overall wonderful dining experience.
After a long park day we chose this restaurant for dinner. The waitress was genuine and friendly and our drinks stayed full. The food came out in a timely manner, and it had good flavor. I ordered the fish but I also tried my husband’s Beef Xi’an Noodles. The fish was good but I regretted not getting my husband’s dish. I really appreciated the unique theming and the ambiance was very relaxing. The menu does not have a huge variety so a picky eater may find it hard to choose. However, like all the other menus, they are posted online so you can make that decision before deciding to choose this restaurant.
Everything about our visit tonight was amazing from start to finish. We ordered the Korean wings and snowflake potstickers for the shareable and those were out of this world. Then for main courses we got, Tonkotsu Ramen, Dragon Fried Rice and the Beef Xian Noodles. All of which were amazing. Then we were recommended dessert which we got the banana Napoleon and the passion fruit moon cake. Our waitress Yessika was the best ever. She recommended us the main courses and desserts along with the White Dragon Sake. She was so nice and polite, super fun to talk to as well. I’d go back here 100% on my next visit to Epic. Thanks again and give my thanks to Yessika too :)
We booked Blue Dragon inside Epic Universe on a whim through the Universal app, not sure if we’d actually make it to dinner — but I’m so glad we did! Check-in was quick and smooth, and our table was ready right on time. We were seated in a big booth that easily fit our group of six, which made it perfect for swapping stories about our day in the park and planning what we’d do next. Our server, Frank, was amazing — super friendly, knowledgeable about the park, and great at walking us through the menu. We kicked things off with cocktails and shared appetizers like calamari and dumplings (both delicious and easy to share). For my entrée, I ordered the ramen — and I was so hungry and excited that I completely forgot to take a photo, which says it all! It was flavorful, comforting, and exactly what I needed. The space itself has an awesome neon-lit vibe — fun yet surprisingly relaxing for a park restaurant. Pricing is about what you’d expect for a theme park, but the experience and quality made it totally worth it. We left full, happy, and already talking about coming back on our next visit. 🍜🌸
This was a great place to stop in the middle of the day, our server Bryan was very helpful explaining the menu and there was a nut allergy in our party and everything was handled wonderfully. The portions were very great for the price considering that we were inside of a theme park. Highly recommend the orange chicken and the mango rice pudding I believe that is what it was.
Our server Ralph was awesome!!! My friend had a lot of dietary restrictions and Ralph and the chef were very accommodating and everything came out to her liking. Cucumber salad was good, snowflake dumplings were delicious and my yuzu drop drink was tasty! Definitely make a reservation at least the morning of or even before that. Beautiful ambiance, nice lighting and comfortable seating.
Wow. The food, staff, and overall attention to detail is what makes this place special. If you are at Epic Universe, this is a must eat and drink! Hands down the best way to recharge after dinner and give it one more go for the day. And order every dessert! You don't want to miss anyb of that.

Three of us visited Universal’s Epic Universe and were absolutely starving for some Asian food during our lunch break. We decided to try The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant, which is located in Celestial Park at Universal Epic Universe. The decor was beautiful—classic Chinese-style with a modern touch—and they also have a full bar, which was a nice bonus. We ordered three appetizers, three entrées, one dessert, and two specialty drinks (check out the photos I attached for details). The presentation of the food was excellent—10/10—everything looked appetizing and thoughtfully prepared. Now, about the taste: Coming from an Asian background, we found that most of the dishes leaned more toward Asian fusion, with creative twists that made them look unique but didn’t quite deliver the traditional flavors we’re familiar with. The Chicken Khao Soi, for example, was just okay—not bad, but not quite what we had in mind either. We loved their Banana Napoleon dessert—it was seriously delicious! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 In the end, we spent more than $200, including tip. I’ll be honest—the food here isn’t cheap. But we had a good experience overall. Oh, and by the way, our server—Nicole (if I got her name right)—was fantastic. Great service! Overall: Beautiful restaurant, relaxing atmosphere, amazing service, and well-presented food.
We made reservations for a late dinner and it was so nice. The waiter was knowledgeable and the food was excellent we had orange chicken and hot tea. It's so refreshing to have hot fresh tea served table side and they had cups for us to take the restbof our tea home because you get a great serving size on everything!
*reservation recommended*An Asian restaurant in EPIC UNIVERSE. Grand decor of old time East Asian streets, temples and signs. Lots neon lights. It’s spacious and clean. Service is great. Very nice staff. The food is great. It’s more American style. Sharing appetizers then you have your own main dish. I like pretty much all the dishes we tried. Kids bento box is actually my favorite (beef with veggies). Calamari is great as well. Dipping sauce is good. I wish the portion is bigger. The tea is good. Good aroma and quality.
Liked the food so much I recommended the restaurant to someone perusing the menu outside. Had appetizers of pot stickers (wontons stuck to flat edible part), calamari (sweet and sour), with a shared main offering of orange chicken. Tried one of their tea offerings which proved to be wonderful. Cost was very reasonable, especially given this restaurant is in the Universal Epic park. Only downside is variety of offerings, probably due to connection to park itself which often limits menu options.
I liked our lunch here! We got the spring rolls, wontons in chili oil, and chicken wings. The chicken wings were too hard and the sauce was too sweet for me, but I loved everything else! Our server was very nice and gave great service. One of the better dining experiences we had while inside the theme park.
GOOD, especially for theme park standards. I ordered the Broccoli Beef Bowl and split the Korean Fried Wings with the table which were all great. The ambience inside is immaculate and service was top notch. That said, this is priced accordingly for Universal. For 4 guests, we were certainly north of $100 , more so pushing $200 before tip. I think it’s worth it for a one time stop while in Epic Universe, maybe on a hot day to cool down. This is far better than some of the quick service offerings. Good, but expect your wallet to hurt after.

What restaurant doesn’t substitute white rice for noodles and when they charge you extra $6 dollars for a side of noodles it delivers the noodles before the rest of the food? This one. Server was great and it is not his fault the food arrived cold (maybe to match the noodles?!?). I’m pretty sure their food is pre packaged and heated, not freshly cooked before being served. It was one of the worst restaurants we have ever been. Poor management always shows of in restaurants and I’m surprised that Universal allows this on the new park.
The atmosphere was cool, the service was okay, and the food was meh. A nice place to rest and relax while at Epic with lanterns and a star lit ceiling. Our server was pleasant and tried to be helpful. It wasn’t our server but I heard at least five things hit the floor, either servers or bussers, including a glass that broke near us while clearing a table. Orders just come when they come in no particular order. But I can live with all that. The biggest disappointment was the food. It’s concession food and not particularly good. Cold noodles were mushy. Two of our items had “vegan ground pork” which tasted like something, but definitely not ground pork and was not particularly appetizing. The mapo tofu came without any sauce. Like, completely white pieces of tofu with no sauce and “vegan ground pork”. I ended up dumping the cold noodle sauce over it and asking for more sauce, and the side of “dragon sauce” didn’t do anything. Everything we ordered came with a handful of peanuts which was fine but didn’t really add anything. The cucumber tasted like a cucumber with a handful of peanuts. I was hoping for something interesting with flavor and got unseasoned tofu, mushy noodles, vegan mush, and unseasoned cucumber. The purple bao at Star Sui Bao by How to Train Your Dragon was more interesting than anything in the Blue Dragon. The food was so unremarkable I didn’t bother to take photos but the door handles were cool and the neon signs were neat. Again, ambiance was cool but the food—not so much.
Visually stunning from both afar and up close, this "fine-dining" option at Epic Universe packs far more flash than pan. Never mind that I had made a reservation for 7:15 and was even admitted 15 minutes early with assurance that my table would be ready early. It was not. In fact, I was not taken to the table at which I eventually sat until 7:45--and even at that, the table was not clean and underneath it was more than a spill; I'd call it a puddle. Same with the table next to mine. No amount of mopping could solve this, but rather than wait even longer, I accepted this table on the water and ordered. My Chinese server insisted that I would like the beef noodle dish much more than I would the dan-dan noodles I'd been admiring all afternoon, and I'm pretty sure she was wrong. It was okay, but not worth $40. I've had much better at my local noodle house in Houston for less than $20. But hey, we're at Epic, so I know we're paying for a lot more than the food.
This is one of the sought after restaurant in Epic Universe. The dragon gate entrance and setup in front with beautiful pond and colorful umbrellas really sets up high expectations for an amazing dining experience. The interior of the restaurant was equally impressive, with incredible integration of Chinese culture and arts. Alongside dining space with tables and booths, they also had a huge bar. Despite making reservation, we actually had to wait about 10 minutes to get our table. We starter with the sweet and sour calamari, that was decent quality. I had the beef Xian noodles for entree. I was disappointed that it came with the big thin noodles. If I knew, I wouldn’t have ordered. Thin noodles would have been much better with the beef. The beef, cabbage and the spice flavors were good. The Kyoto Sunrise was a good mocktail. The service was decent enough. Our server did her job of getting our order in, bringing them and getting our check. Very basic! We had to wait about 20-25 minutes to get our food. I was also annoyed since they had a whole dining room empty, the host put us and another group in a corner of floor for no good reason. For such a fancy upscale expensive place, the food, the service and overall experience was underwhelming. We would have been better off eating from one of the cafe stands.

I'd really like to love this place BUT the food is horrible. 😂 There is nothing "rich" about that Tonkutsu broth at all. It tasted like water but costed me $29 so I had to eat it. The soup dumpling tasted like they have been sitting on the heat lamp for hours till they dried out. I mean... if you have the money and want to spend *just to try it out* yeah do it. Otherwise, I would say don't waste your money. The only reason for 2 stars is for the service! Great bartenders! Great drinks!
I hate doing this, but this this is not a good restaurant. We got the smashed cucumbers, potstickers, pork soup dumplings, orange chicken, and plain noodles for my daughter. First, all the food had a bit of spice to it. I thought it was fine, but the kids didn't like that. The dipping sauce for both the dumplings and the potstickers were the same, neither was proper brown sauce, and both had spice. I mean, they could just make it plum sauce and it would be better. Both the potstickers and the dumplings were just bland. I expected the noodles to be a bit with my daughter, but they were truly PLAIN noodles. No butter. No brown sauce. Finally, I expected the orange chicken to be at least be made-from-scratch quality like PF Chang's, but it was not. Way more breading than chicken. One high spot: the stardust blend tea. Absolutely outstanding.
My recent visit to the Blue Dragon at Epic Universe began with an immediate appreciation for its breathtaking atmosphere. The street signs reminiscent of Chinatown added a cool, authentic touch, complemented by faux trees and lanterns that gently moved up and down, creating an immersive and enchanting environment. We commenced our meal with the Dragon’s Stardust Custom Blend tea, which proved to be exceptional—one of the finest teas I have enjoyed in quite some time. Its quality prompted us to order a second pot, though the pricing felt somewhat inflated for the portion. As an appetizer, we selected the Pork Soup Dumplings. These were satisfactory and fulfilled their role adequately, though they lacked distinction and came at a premium price for standard dim sum fare. For our main courses, we chose the Beef Xi’an Noodles and the Dragon Fried Rice. The noodles arrived as a dense clump, requiring separation with a knife and fork to render them edible as a proper dish. The beef was overly minced, integrating seamlessly into the sauce rather than providing distinct pieces, resulting in a disjointed eating experience where the noodles and sauce had to be combined manually. Additional hot chili oil was necessary to enhance the flavor profile, ultimately rendering the dish underwhelming. The fried rice was similarly average, resembling a reheated frozen variety from a bulk retailer like Costco, augmented with frozen seafood. It too exhibited clumping, suggestive of microwave preparation, and failed to impress. Throughout the meal, service was subpar; securing refills for drinks or additional tea proved challenging. Compounding this, we endured a 45-minute wait for our check, which significantly detracted from our overall day at the park. In summary, I would rate the Blue Dragon 2 out of 5 stars, attributable primarily to its captivating atmosphere. The culinary offerings and service fell short of expectations, particularly given the pricing.
As someone one who does Ramen Reviews specifically in NYC looking for the perfect bowl & Universal Fan finally seeing an Asian inspired restaurant made me excited to no end and yet my disappointment was immeasurable. While it looked absolutely fantastic The ramen was cold, the noodles still in a packaged square shape as I pulled them up with my chopsticks. The Eggs was almost frozen at the center & still runny. Even the pork was fatty & chewy. It seemed as if they were more worried about getting the food out fast & having a high turn over rate instead of the quality of the meal. Which is why they state early that when you food is ready it’s goes straight to your table. I love Universal Restaurants, I’ve been to every single one from margaritaville to mythos’s. It pains me to say this was the worst bowl of ramen I’ve ever had in my entire life. Unfortunately told my wonderful server & friend nothing of my true thoughts always worried about ruining other people’s day or mood but mine was definitely dampened. Our server Hung was a ball of absolute sunshine and was so much fun to talk to. Happy to see more non alcoholic options such as tea to share for the table, though our choice of flavor we soon regretted and they ran out of Tea Cups giving us shot glasses instead that amplify the heat of the cup instead of containing it. The ambience was fantastic, it’s a gorgeous restaurant regardless of seating. Want to go back and try some of the other menu items but pray the quality improves.
This place is absolutely beautiful inside. I love the colors. Our server was amazing and really sweet. He also gave excellent recommendations for the teas. However, the food wasn't that great. We got the chicken curry dish to share, but we didn't love it. It didn't say it spicy on the menu, but it had a good kick to it. It wasn't terrible, but we could get a better chicken curry dish at home. The teas were delicious. We got the Jasmine Reserve and the Orchid Oolong, which was recommended for us. They were both wonderful and we plan to buy them when we get home. However, the first set of clear cups we received were both very dirty. We were able to literally scrap off whatever was inside of both, but our server was able to gave us new ones. Overall, especially for the price, it really wasn't worth it. There're so many other better choices in the park.

Dined in there last Thursday 530 reservation. I don’t recall our server’s name but she had a unique name and a mullet cut. Food was mediocre. Like a worse version of Pf Chang’s. The biggest issue we had is a lack of prebussing. By the end of our meal, we had stacked plates sky high at the end of our table napkins piled up from where we tidied up, waiting for the server to grab them out of the way. Multiple staff members walked by including what looked like a manager on duty, a busser, food runner and our own server who did not remove one plate off our cluttered table. At the end of our meal we had to wait for our check. Our kids, 12 and under had reached their threshold of sitting down in a restaurant and were eager to get back to the rides. The server dropped off the check and we immediately cashed out. When she brought the check back she stood in front of the booth seat slowly piling up all of the dishes that we left at the end of table in her arms. She literally would not move out of the way to let my son and I out of the booth. It was the weirdest most bizarre situation. We literally tidied the table, every glass, every cup was consolidated and put within her reach. She should have waited for us to exit before doing the job she should have been doing throughout our dinner. Opt for one of the restaurants in the Harry Potter section at Epic, the food and service looked to be adequate.
This place….where do I start. It’s a beautiful restaurant. The Asian culture elements are outstanding in the decor inside and outside the building. The service was great and fast. Our server was really nice and we appreciated his input on the dishes. But the food…..was not good at all. We ordered the Korean wings….they were covered in THICK breading that was so hard to eat and the sauce was so basic it was so bland. It was not good at all. I have made Korean style wings at home multiple times and I double Fried them as well and they turn out 100x better and not that thick. Once we tried that we knew the entrees were not gonna be that good and we have been to Asia and understand it’s not gonna be exactly the same but honestly a cheap greasy Chinese take out would have tasted better than what we got. We ordered the Khao Soi noodles and the orange chicken plates. The noodle Dish was super bland I asked the server for salt and pepper. The broth didn’t look like it was khao soi broth. It was so light and runny and it is suppose to be a bit thicker and darker. Now I don’t mind a noodle soup but don’t name it something it’s not. It was also pretty spicy when it wasn’t labeled spicy on the menu. I don’t mind spice but I didn’t want that today. It just tasted like coconut milk with some spice in it. The orange chicken was so thick with breading and when we cut it open a lot the them were raw and it was a tiny piece of chicken in them. Like how do you mess up orange chicken that bad. It was just terrible honestly. The only thing on that plate with any flavor was the greens. How do you call this fine dining and offer up mediocre food like that. This is not acceptable. Just because the restaurant looks nice that doesn’t mean it’s fine dining. Do better universal because I would Have dropped the rest of the park and gone to Disney Springs to Morimoto if I didn’t have one more ride to do. Don’t open up a park if it’s not finished to the best standards. This is how you get your guests to NOT recommended coming to the park to family and friends.
