I used to work on the island of Saipan and had many Filipino co-workers and friends and truly missed their cooking. It was great to find OverRice on IG after they were recommended by a restaurant reviewer. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We were able to talk to the owner, Joel, about his history and inspiration for his restaurant and cuisine. We ordered the Filipino Style plate with pork adobo, pancit and lumpia Shanghai . The pork was very tender and the lumpia was divine. It just melts in your mouth. I’d definitely return and try more dishes.

Good food friendly service. Went during soft opening they were out of couple menu items. But no worries we will come back and try next time.

Hula Hula Hawaiian chicken was great! The mac salad was the perfect combination with the jasmine rice and the chicken. The lumpia was a fine treat :) Different, tasty and bold fusion flavor. Loved it!

It was tasty. I have had them from the food truck a few times and hope to do so again soon. I love Hawaiian cuisine so any opportunity to find some huli huli chicken on the mainland is a win.

Filipino food and Hawaiian food served in the same place very good and was surprised very fast. Atmosphere wonderfully cozy with a touch of dinner with modern hipster.

Just finished meals and WOW!!! I had the kalua pork and it was so tender and packed with flavor. My fiancée had the Huli huli chicken and it was barbecued to perfection. Would definitely recommend this food truck. The customer service was top notch. Aloha from Orlando.

I’ve been following Overrice around since experiencing their food truck for lunch at my office several years ago. I’m so excited that they now have a restaurant so I can get their amazing food whenever I want! The owners are the nicest, most hard working people I’ve ever met. Give them a try. You won’t be disappointed!

I always see this truck at Lake Eola on Sundays I finally tried it and let’s just say I will be back. The staff friendly , service is great food is great ( presentation is beautiful )every time I’m at the park (Lake Eola) I will be ordering. I got the chicken and it came with 2 scoops of rice and the Mac salad. 10/10 i recommend you try this food truck. They on IG / Facebook look them up you won’t be disappointed.

Pancit, Huli Huli chicken, Kalua pig all perfect. This was my favorite lumpia by far, could have done a dozen. I use to see their food truck years ago but never knew where they set up. Glad to see they survived covid and have a brick and mortar now.

Pleasantly surprised! Just driving by, looked better than fried chicken across the street. Great food, unique flavors! Will come back for sure whenever I'm in the area!

IF I COULD GIVE 100 STARS I WOULD! I had no idea what to expect when I walked in and definitely kept it in my comfort zone and ordered the chicken Philippine style, and oh my goodness. At a certain point while I was DEVOURING my plate I got a bit full and kept going. I would go back everyday if I lived/worked close but I definitely will be back and can’t wait to tell everyone about it.

Had lunch here for the first time today and loved the vibe! For $16, you get a giant meal with generous servings of protein (two choices of meat). My husband and I both had filipino style mixed plate. I got double chicken and he got chicken and adobo pork. Everything was great! I appreciated how big their lumpia was. Also their home made sweet chili sauce added so much flavor to everything! I used it on both chicken and lumpia. It definitely has an after kick so warning if you can’t handle spicy. The food in general is very homey and filling. We also loved the vibe of the restaurant and it made us feel like we were vacationing for a minute lol

What a great little place! I had Filipino plate with pork, super good! The staff was happy, friendly, and went out of their way to acknowledge and help me. I forgot to order my macaroni salad, but they made sure I got some anyway. Will be back with more friends.

This place has such good comfort food, a relaxing chill vibe and the sweetest people working there. The woman at the counter who helped serve is so kind and helpful. My go to is the Hawaiian plate, the Pancit, Lumpias and their Musubi is extremely addicting.

Everything we tried were 10/10 🙌🏻 We ordered the Loco Moco, Filipino Sisig, Chicken Katsu, Musubi, Lumpia and for desserts, we had Haupia & Ube Cassava. So happy we dropped by the place before leaving Orlando.

This place absolutely slaps. I got the Filipino style mixed protein plate And everything was so flavorful, juicy and seasoned. I immediately texted my other foodie friends after the first bite. I’m literally not even done with my first meal and I had to stop and write this review. Do your mouth a favor and COME THROUGH!

We went here for the first time yesterday for lunch. It was da bomb!!!! We lived in Hawaii twice over the past 30 some years (stationed there with the Navy). We have missed a lot of the food you can get there but then came Over Rice! OMG!! The food is so authentic It's just as if we were back there! We tried the Chicken Katsu plate, Lumpia (Pork), the Loco Moco plate which has 2 Hamburger patties over Rice with gravy and 2 Sunny side eggs on top, a Hawaiian plate with Pork Adobo, Kailua Pork, Rice and Mac Salad, another Hawaiian plate with Huli Huli Chicken, the Pork Belly plate, Pancit, Ube cake and last but not least Haupia. I think we bought one of everything!!🤣 We have a lot of leftovers that will last us for a couple of days! It is the next best thing to being in Hawaii, food wise anyways. You get a LOT of food as you can see in the photos. DEFINITELY recommend this place!!!!!

Very tasty Hawaiian and Filipino food! This is a gem of a find! It's a 30 min drive for me but worth it! Want something different than your regular fare. Try OverRice! Lumpia are delicious with their lime jalapeno sauce! Really a go to! Oh, the pancit noodle. . Also so gooood! The adobo pork was amazing! Huli huli chicken YUM ! My next order will be trying out the pork belly! If you're within 40mins drive over and check them out! They started as a food truck and then opened the brick&mortor store. The food truck still does special events and downtown Orlando events. You're welcome! ✌️🙂💥

I have been to this location a couple times. I usually get the fried chicken with rice and Mac salad. The cashiers are always very helpful and nice. They recently added chicken masubi! I got a side of spicy veggies and two of the chicken masubi. It was delicious and seeing as I can’t eat pork, it meant a lot that I get to try this type of dish too! Their drinks are refreshing and light! I like the pink fruit one they make in-house as well as the lychee one in the can.

We had gone to OverRice "Filipino and Hawaiian Kitchen", couldn't find it on yelp, but the address was similar. The inside of the restaurant was clean and simple. They had the island music playing, which always sets the mood and is inviting. When we went here, the place wasn't packed. We just saw people coming in to pick up phone orders. The lady who took my order was nice. I was bummed they didn't have loco moco or the ube cassava, but we weren't leaving empty-handed. There isn't a lot of filipino or hawaiian restaurants in this area. If we found a hawaiian place, it was mostly poke. We ordered: 1. Spam musubi - rice and spam was fresh. It was mostly rice than spam but was still good. 2. Lumpia shanghai - Crispy and flavorful. Not all wrapper. Sweet chili sauce has a kick. 3. Chicken Katsu, all rice - Chicken was nice and crispy. Katsu sauce was different than what we are used to, tasted more like a soy sauce/shoyu base, but was good. 4. Pork adobo filipino plate - Pork adobo was tender but didn't have a lot of sauce for the rice. Pancit was standard, didn't come with any lemon or calamansi. So it was kind of bland. 5. Sisig over rice and fried egg - Flavorful and the pork was crispy. Egg was perfectly cooked. 6. Mac salad - Tasty and well seasoned. I liked that they put furikake on top. I think there is potato mixed in. Something different but it was delicious. 6. Chocolate macadamia brownie - It was good, but it tasted like a brownie mix, and you just added macadamia nuts. Nothing special. Overall, the food was good. Service was ok. I'd want to come back to try the loco moco

OverRice is my favorite food in Orlando! I've been visiting OverRice for almost 10 years starting with their food truck. Their food never misses and the owners are super nice. The Huli Huli Chicken has a wonderful grilled flavor and we dream about the pork lumpia's with their house made sweet chili sauce. As a lemonade lover, I always get the calamansi citrus drink which pairs perfectly with the savory plate. All the food is fresh and prepared by cooks who know how to cook. I love supporting an amazing local business who cares about their craft.

Being a local girl from the islands living on the East Coast has been tough on my OPU!! So happy to find this GEM of a place on a trip down to Florida! We literally got off the plane at Sanford airport, and drove straight there!! We walked in and were warmly greeted by the front girl, and the amazing smells of home . Almost got me teary eyed !! We promptly ordered our food and grabbed Hawaiian Sun can each and sat down. The Food is AMAZING, fresh and SOOOO ONOLICIOUS!!!! Broke da mout & majah MOP sesh!!!! Local music playing and just for a moment everything was right with the world. It’s amazing how food can transport you & bring back childhood memories!! Grabbed some musubi’s for the road !! Food is incredible! Ordered for an office lunch for about 10 people and everyone loved it! I hate having to get things delivered through door dash for the office because its so hit or miss with the delivery drivers. I ordered through their direct online ordering system and it was super easy, delivered so quickly, and had a tracking link for the driver! And im pretty sure doordash takes a huge cut of the profits and so order through their website so it all goes to them and this place stays open! I cant lose the Kalua Pork or Lumpia!

This is my second time visiting and I will be returning. Food is original and delicious. I've placed both orders online through the company website where there is NO fee, that's another plus. Food has been ready on time and the service is top notch. Very satisfied!

Let me just say....OverRice absolutely delivers. From the moment I took that first bite, I knew I was in for something special. This place doesn’t just serve food, it serves flavor bombs that hit all the right notes. Let’s talk about the Sisig. Oh man… it was everything I hoped for and more. Perfectly seasoned, with that crispy, sizzling texture that makes your mouth water before you even taste it. Each bite was rich, savory, and slightly tangy....just like a proper Sisig should be. Now, the Spam Musubi... The rice was soft and sticky without being mushy, the Spam was grilled just right..slightly caramelized on the edges and the nori wrapped everything up like a delicious gift. It’s one of those bites that’s simple on paper, but when done well, it just slaps. Sweet, salty, comforting, and satisfying in every way. If you're into bold flavors, comfort food with character, or just want to try something new that feels both familiar and exciting....OverRice is where you need to be. Filipino and Hawaiian flavors dancing on the same plate? Yes please. Highly recommend. Come hungry. Leave happy!!!!!

Literally this place was too good to not leave a positive review. I love when places remind you that good reviews are necessary as well. The owners were super nice. I’m definitely going to check out there origin food truck in SOdO soon. The restaurant AND kitchen (open style) were both very clean. As was the taste of the food. The flavor was phenomenal and with delightful suggestions we both got amazing meals we have not experienced before. 10/10 will be return customers.

This is a review I’ve been meaning to leave for a number of months. This restaurant is amazing it has classic and inspired Hawaiian and Filipino dishes. The pricing is reasonable for the high quality, and portion size of the food. The staff is always friendly and is happy you came in to see them. The flavors of the food are amazing, their ono Mac and Huli Huli chicken is one of my favorites. As of 4/12/25 they have a limited menu item Kali beef ribs which were also amazing! If you’re in the area give them a try! I recommend the mixed Hawaiian plate lunch with double Huli Huli chicken. If you’ve never had it get some lumpia as well!

OverRice delivered an amazing meal from start to finish. Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. You can tell they put real care into every dish, and it shows from the first bite. The lumpia is already great, but dipping it into their house made Lime Jalapeño Chili Sauce takes it to another level. We tried it and ended up buying two bottles to take home because it was that good. The Calamansi Juice is a standout and adds a bright, refreshing balance to the meal. Make room for Halo Halo at the end because it pulls the whole visit together in the best way. The portions, quality, and overall experience made the visit more than worth it. I left already planning what to order next time. Five stars all the way.

I have not been disappointed the past two times I’ve been here! There isn’t any Hawaiian food where I live so it’s so nice to have an amazing spot in Orlando when I’m here for work. I recently got takeout and the portions and presentation were just like at the restaurant. Highly recommend!

Nice chill vibe. We came in around 7pm. Food took a bit to come but I’m worth the wait. Got the kalbi and adobo pork. The flavor of the pork was perfect. Very flavorful and meat fell off the bones. Lumpia and pancit that comes with the meal is just the right amount.

Very good Hawaiian BBQ cuisines. The macaroni salad is fantastic and the meats were good I bit on the messing some teriyaki sauce but they were very tender. Price is reasonable. Especially with a rare find of finding Hawaiian BBQ on the East coast this is an absolute gem. Everything is cooked to order so it’s all fresh.

This is my first time here, and it surely won’t be my last! I’m not exaggerating when I saying this is the best rice platter I’ve had in over 5 years, flavors were great, texture of the chicken and the pork were even greater, tender, juicy they just melted in my mouth. Amazing!

We used to eat this deliciousness when they had a food truck parked at one of our favorite neighborhood stops!! Glad they moved to a storefront because this food is absolutely delicious!!!!! I'm a big fan of almost the entire menu! So far everything has been well above the norm! Service is good, food comes out promptly and is steaming!! Flavors are extremely enjoyable!! Will be back yet again!! Congrats and welcome to the area! This change of pace is a must try!!

This is my new favorite Filipino/Hawaiian restaurant in the city! From friendly staff to incredibly tasty food, this restaurant has everything you need. The items that are a must get are the chicken Katsu (get it Filipino style and add a fried egg) and the Sisig. Additionally a musubi is a must (both spam and chicken are delicious!). They have incredible lumpia as well. The katsu is beautifully fried and so delicious. The fried egg on top adds an extra layer of umami. It is served over a bed of rice as well as pancit (stir fried noodles). The sauces they give with it pair beautifully as well. The sisig is fatty, fried chunks of pork which again have incredible texture and taste. The musubi is insane - so much flavor packed on top of rice and wrapped in seaweed. The staff are also exceptionally friendly and helpful!

Absolutely loved Filipino & Hawaiian Kitchen! The food is incredibly flavorful, always consistent, and tastes fresh and homemade. And the mac is probably the best thing ever made — seriously. Just come. There was an orchid in my take out box. My box was beautifully arranged. These lumoia are just like my Filipino god mothers. The food is incredible. The spicy food is actually spicy. The restauruant is smaller though so come but just maybe not all at once LOL.

I stopped by on a whim while in the neighborhood because I love a good hole in the wall spot. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with such genuine warmth; the lady at the counter was incredibly welcoming and gave some great recommendations. While the presentation of the food was beautiful, the flavors weren’t quite for me and the meat was a bit on the chewy side. However, the service was so exceptional that I really want to see this place succeed. It’s rare to find such kind hospitality, so I’m happy to give them 5 stars for the experience alone!

And im pretty sure doordash takes a huge cut of the profits and so order through their website so it all goes to them and this place stays open! I cant lose the Kalua Pork or Lumpia!

Clean restaurant, friendly service and tasty food that reminds me of home! The kalua pork was SO good and juicy. I think the flavors of the chicken could be pushed a little more, but it was nicely charred from the grill.

Pretty good and affordable Filipino food, but nothing amazing. The pork adobo spare ribs were missing a certain depth of flavor. Lumpia were better than I expected though. We visited their food truck location at Lake Eola, so I can't speak for the atmosphere at the actual restaurant. Service was friendly.

First the Food: 3.7/5. I'd say the food at this establishment is very decent. I'm not too familiar with Filipino or Hawaiian cuisine but I'd say each dish had a nice amount of flavor. the portions sizes were also very decent. I had the pork adobo, filipino style, and the chicken katsu (which came in the hawaiian style). the pork adobo sauce was similar to that of chinese hong shao rou but applied to braised spare ribs. overall a decent lunch place in the orlando area. Second the Service: you order at the counter and wait for them to bring you your food. there is a fair amount of seating (about 8 ish tables I want to say?) and disposable wooden chopsticks. Finally the Atmosphere: it feels like a local family owned restaurant. some of the tables aren't as clean as I'd like but thats just me nit picking

I had a great meal at their food truck years ago and I’ve been looking forward to their brick & mortar location for a long time, only to be a tad bit disappointed with what I received. Pretty cramped little restaurant, decent service, and food that just wasn’t as good as I remember. The huli huli chicken was a bit bland, the adobo pork was good (but I only got like 3 bites of it), and the pork belly sisig was very dry and VERY spicy. I can handle some spice, but I had to remove basically all the raw chiles to even be able to eat it (be careful because the menu doesn’t even mention the word “spicy” on it).

I am disappointed that I have to leave this review. I thought to give the spot a try since I like both Hawaiian and Filipino food, but I’m not sure what kind of food they are serving here. My lumpia’s tasted bitter. My chicken Katsu was dry and over fried. The rice tasted cheap. I don’t know any Hawaiian that puts potatoes in their Mac salad and it was salty. I just don’t even know what’s going on with this place but this is not any Filipino or Hawaiian food that I am used to. I’m disappointed that I wasted almost 40 bucks for food that I feel is pretty much inedible. It taste like there’s chemicals in everything. I don’t know, it just doesn’t taste good. Complete waste of money
