Spicy Girl is a hidden gem in Orlando serving authentic and flavorful Sichuan cuisine. Customers rave about the generous portions and delicious dishes, especially the Sweet and Sour Pork and Chongqing Roast Fish. Service can be slow, but the food is worth the wait.

The service here is extremely good I ordered that happy family and receive my food in less than 10 minutes and I was short a little less than a dollar and they were willing to still give me my food… I still went back to my car and got more money but it’s the thought that counts! Such a unique looking place I highly recommend for the service and the food taste amazing as well
Honestly, after reading a few of the negative reviews, I found a few that were quite funny, a lot of them coming from people with zero understanding of authentic Sichuan food, quite unfortunate really. Especially that one guy that rated this place one star because it was the first time him and his partner has experienced numbing spice… Anyway, this is the best (most authentic) experience I’ve had with Sichuan food at any restaurant outside of Chengdu/Nanchong in China. Absolutely incredible, will revisit many times during my 2 week trip here, and will revisit whenever I return to Orlando. I do see a few staffing complaints during the evening hours, so try to visit during lunch/afternoon hours, you will not regret it at all! An added bonus is that this is very cheap and affordable for what you get!
Only got the first photo before our other dishes came out but WOW, how have I missed this place! Fantastic food! service is a bit slow but enjoy your time with company, they work hard and are doing the best they can. After living in Shenzhen for 6 years the food brought me back to China, it was all perfect. Go with friends order a bunch and enjoy! 太好了!
I am originally from New York City, so I love Chinese food from Chinatown and flushing. Spicy girl has provided us with authentic Szechuan dishes. We've been craving some spicy dry hot pot and they have it! All of their dishes were delicious. I would definitely come back again and again just to get that delicious numbing hot taste. Even their nonspicy dishes were delicious!
Spicy Girl, the Chinese Restaurant, offers a satisfying dining experience with several key aspects to consider. Ambience: Upon entering the restaurant, the tantalizing aroma of their spicy cuisine immediately sets the mood. The décor carries an authentic Asian touch with a bamboo theme, and while it is non-fancy, it still manages to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Service: The service at Spicy Girl is notably prompt, ensuring that your food arrives hot and ready to enjoy. The attentive staff adds to the overall dining experience by accommodating specific requests, such as adjusting the spiciness levels in the dishes to match individual preferences. Food: The highlight of Spicy Girl is undeniably its exceptional Chinese cuisine. I had the pleasure of sampling several dishes, including Kung Pao Shrimp, Spicy Green Beans, Bok Choy with Garlic Sauce, Spicy Beef and Onions, plus Pork and Cabbage. Each dish was a flavorful delight, and the generous bowl of white rice provided for sharing at the table complemented the main courses perfectly. It's worth noting that they are accommodating when it comes to individual rice portions as well. What sets Spicy Girl apart is its authenticity. The presence of Asian Americans savoring their meals is a testament to the restaurant's genuine Chinese flavors. In fact, on my visit, my party was the only group of Caucasians in the establishment, which further underscores its authenticity. We ate our meal with some close friends who had spent several years in China. They stated that this was one of their favorite Orlando Chinese eateries, since it remains true to the Chinese flavors they remember. In conclusion, Spicy Girl is a hidden gem for those seeking a genuinely Chinese dining experience. The delicious food, accommodating service, and Asian ambience make it a highly recommended destination for both enthusiasts of spicy cuisine and those looking for a truly authentic Chinese meal.
My family and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Spicy Girl Chinese Restaurant for lunch, and I must say, it exceeded all of our expectations. Initially, I was a bit skeptical about trying this restaurant, but I was pleasantly surprised by the delightful experience we had. First and foremost, the food at Spicy Girl is absolutely delicious. They have a lot of spicy items for the menu (if you love spicy foods). Every dish we ordered tasted amazing and showcased the authentic flavors of Chinese cuisine. The dishes arrived at our table hot and fresh, leaving no doubt in our minds about the quality of the ingredients used. Each bite was a true delight, and we thoroughly enjoyed the entire meal. Not only was the food exceptional, but the prices were also fair and reasonable. We were pleasantly surprised by the affordability of the dishes, especially considering the high quality and generous portions. It's rare to find a restaurant that offers such value for money without compromising on taste. Despite the restaurant's relatively small size, it exuded a charming and welcoming ambiance. The cozy and intimate atmosphere added to the overall dining experience. Additionally, the service at Spicy Girl was top-notch. The staff was attentive, friendly, and efficient. Our food was served promptly, allowing us to enjoy our meal without any unnecessary delays. Based on our fantastic experience, we have no doubt that we will be returning to Spicy Girl Chinese Restaurant in the future. The combination of delicious food, fair prices, and excellent service make it a standout choice for any Chinese food enthusiast. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an authentic and delightful dining experience. Kudos to the team at Spicy Girl for creating such a memorable lunch experience. We look forward to our next visit!
OUTSTANDING!!! Best Chinese food I have had, EVER!!! Wish we would have gone way sooner! If ever in Orlando again, this is the ONLY place I will eat at! The sesame chicken, spicy chicken and chili wonton soup are PERFECTION!!! I would give them 100 stars if I could! Don’t sleep on this place!!! The place is clean and staff was super nice as well! Shout out to the CHEF!!! 👌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Hands down…this is one of the most authentic and delicious Sichuan style Chinese restaurants I’ve ever had. I was surprised to find this hidden gem in Orlando. If you happen to visit Disney or Sea World, you have to stop by. The portion is huge and the food is so yummy but the service is so slow. Be prepared to wait for one hour to get the food.
Very authentic Chinese food. Portion is big and service is good. Very nice Chinese food but please ask for less spicy for better enjoyment if you cannot take Mala well
If u order take out grab a drink while you wait. The inside of this establishment is really cool. The food I got was amazing. Treat others with respect to get respect.
Dishes served hot. Packed with flavor, plus great portion size. Very reasonably priced!
My coworkers and I were in town for work and we all had a craving for Chinese food. We stumbled upon Spicy Girl and oh my goodness this place is AMAZING! Some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had in my life and the prices are incredible! We didn’t realize how big the portions were so the 3 of us ordered enough to feed at least 5 and we ate the majority of it because it was so good. Service was good; the staff was friendly without hovering or being too pushy. Food came out quickly and was hot and delicious and flavorful. I can’t recommend this place enough!
Absolutely amazing! Food tasted very authentic and the portions are good as well. This is our favorite Chinese restaurant in Orlando and the entire Space Coast area! My hubby is a picky eater and he finished the entire plate of Sweet and Sour Pork, even the sauce!!! If you ever wonder what to order, just ask the server, she's very friendly, just make sure to let her know your taste preferences. This is now our go-to spot every weekend or every other week, it is a bit of a drive for us, especially with a ''terrible 2'' in the back seat. (our little one loves their sweet sausage noodles! She screamed in excitement when she saw the noodles being brought out!) (The photos were taken when we already started our feast, so they don't really reflect the actual portions).
Ordered what I thought would be a regular wonton soup. What I got was a delicious wonton soup. I’ve never had it like this before. The soup was flavored with lots of veggies: green onions, parsley, bok choy and peanuts so be careful if you have an allergy. So good, definitely will be back.
Overall nice portion and good service. The eggplant potato green pepper is authentic and the spicy boiled beef is tender.
If you are looking for REAL authentic Chinese food, especially Szechuan style, then this is the place. If you are looking for the stuff you get on a typical buffet then it might not be for you. Be prepared it is called Spicy Girl for a reason, but we like it hot.
The Kung Pau chicken lunch special is awesome! Around $10 for it and it has a lot of flavor, rice, and chicken.
Nice, relaxed and comfortable atmosphere for a quick lunch. Fast, efficient service. We were in and out in 25-30 minutes and the waitress was very attentive. Wide selection of canned and bottled sodas and other drinks. We had the Mongolian Chicken with Fried Rice, the Chicken Lo Mein and an order of Pork Egg Rolls. The food came out nice and hot. Every thing was delicious and seemed to be good quality and very fresh- nothing like a Chinese take-out place. If you are in the area and craving Chinese food in a relaxed environment, than this is the place to be!
All the dishes I ordered were really flavorful. I am not going lie and say it’s authentic, because I never been to the Szechuan region of China…but none of these dishes disappointed me. My second time here and looking forward to coming again to try other dishes.
Everything is À la carte, but the portions are HUGE! We got the Mongolian beef, General Tao’s chicken and veggie lo mein! Everything was amazing ! I will be back!
Update 2 : Four visits here and this has become my favorite meal in Orlando. Don't come here expecting Panda because your taste buds aren't ready for the food here. This isn't corporate fast food, it's delicious. Update: this was my second trip to Spicy Girl and would give this place two more stars if I could. It's easily a 7 out of 5 rating. The staff is super sweet, not spicy, and the food is amazing and spicy. This little gem is unassuming and hidden which is a shame because Orlando doesn't know what it's missing. Original review: I don't know what the deal is with the negative reviews. I admit I've only been here once but let me tell you it was amazing and the service was great. The spicy pork belly was suggested to me and it was amazing. The onions and peppers were perfect. The pork belly was thinly sliced and the balance of meat and vegetables was perfect. I really wouldn't change anything and at $12.73 after tax it was cheaper than most fast food options. I can't believe I waited so long to come here.
Fabulous authentic Chinese food! I was impressed by the variety of the dishes on offer (using authentic Chinese ingredients like pig trotters, pea shoots and Chinese aubergines) and the flavour of the dishes I ordered. The dishes are absolutely bursting with flavour and the spiciness, sweetness, tartness etc are all just right. I especially recommend the sweet and sour pork (锅包肉),potato, eggplant, Bell pepper (地三鲜),pea shoots (炒豆苗) and spicy pork feet (孜然猪手). I will be back to try more dishes! The lady was also very friendly and let us know that we had ordered too much food. We were happy to take the rest away in a doggy bag though. We are on holiday here and don't know the area so were pleasantly surprised by this gem on our trip to Disney land!
I’m not from Orlando, so I’m not sure what prices are like in this area. However, I will say that the price here was very affordable compared to the NY/NJ area and the portions were very good. Food was authentic (comparable to NY flushing/chinatown, but slightly more home style). The food: highly recommend the cold jelly noodles (liang fen). Spicy, numbing, and big portion size. So refreshing on a hot humid day. Sour fish soup was good, but a little on the salty side. Mala beef noodle soup was delicious. Service was very fast. Highly recommend this restaurant for authentic and affordable szechuan food!
My friend, who is from Guangzhou, said the food was authentic. For me, they were tasty and went well with white rice. Sweet and Sour Pork: Delicious crispy pork with a perfect sweet and sour sauce. The pork was lightly battered and cooked well so that it was still tender and juicy inside with a crispy exterior. The sauce was well balanced between sweet and sour. Mala Bowl: I don’t like spicy food, so it was ok-ish to me. There’s beef, tofu, and ham. All with a great amount. It’s definitely spicy with a tongue numbness from the Szechuan pepper. Pork Belly with Preserved Vegetable: Good portion. If you like fatty food, you will probably like this. The fat melted in my mouth while the meat portion has just a bit of chew. The flavor was decent and paired well with white rice. The preserved vegetable was quite salty with a hint of sourness. Sautéed String Bean with Minced Pork: Delicious salty goodness. The saltiness mainly came from the minced pork and garlic. When combined with sautéed string bean, it greatly boosted the flavor of the dish. Beware of the Szechuan pepper. It looked a lot like minced pork. Atmosphere: We ate on a weekday at ~6:00pm but we were the only one there. The server wasn’t attentive since it was empty. Overall, it’s a great place to get authentic Chinese food. The quality was great, and I will definitely return to try more dishes.
Stopped by here while vacationing in Orlando and this is some of the best Chinese Szechuan cuisine I’ve had in a while! Very authentic Chinese food atmosphere was very low key me off of International Drive and my family was able to dine in right away and the customer service was excellent. Everyone was very nice and helpful making sure we ordered the right thing as well as fitting us right into the lunch special. Very cost efficient and you got your moneys worth you won’t regret stopping by very delicious!!
Outstanding Chinese food & very authentic! So many options to choose from. Love the Sichuan dishes - the 水煮牛肉 Poached Beef in Mala Sauce is delicious. As simple as it may seem, their egg friend rice is very good - Hong Kong style…probably the best I’ve ever had. Egg drop soup is rich and savory. Great service and accommodating.
Great AUTHENTIC Chinese food! I was gladly surprised by this hidden treasure during the trip to the Walt Disney World. I saw some reviews in Chinese praising the food here, but I didn’t expect such good dishes given the overall rating. The cold beef dish (夫妻肺片)has the perfect balance of spiciness and sweetness, with the signature numbness from the peppercorn powder. It brought back my childhood memory in Sichuan, eating spicy cold dishes and drinking coke in hot summer night! What a magical feeling! The hot dishes were all perfectly done. Strongly recommend to anyone who would like to try authentic Sichuan food! 😊
This was our first stop for food when we arrived in the area. Wasn't really sure what to expect but boy did it not disappoint food was amazing. I love Asian food and have been to many restaurants and even worked for a few family owned asian restaurants. This place definitely has it going on I had the hot sour noodle soup with beef it was great flavor had a hot spice not over powering and the right amount of sour. Needless to say we came back before we left and I enjoyed the sesame chicken with white sticky rice. It was fried perfectly had the right about of crunch and sauce by far was my favorite dish. I had from them.

We ordered a take out. The sweet and sour pork is so delicious. Everyone loved it. I particularly enjoyed the Chongqing Roast Fish. The fish is tender and full of flavor. It also has potato, spam, mushroom in it.

I've eaten here 3 times now. This is a restaurant that Chinese people go to, not a NY Chinese takeout place. Not sure how the American Chinese food tastes here, but the traditional stuff is pretty spot on. The MALA flavor spicy noodle soup tastes as good as it does in China! The dry spicy chicken Chengdu style is excellent (watch the bones). The spicy sliced beef is great. The "sweet and sour" fried pork is fantastic! They have a pretty extensive menu with traditional Chinese dishes that I'm sure most Americans have never tried, including: frog, jellyfish, pig ears, chicken feet, etc. They have various hot teas too. They are usually not too full, but not dead either, and always have Chinese clientele. Their service is ok, not amazing. They won't bend over backwards for you, but they are hardworking people doing their best to run a family restaurant during hard times. Could be a bit cleaner, but tables are clean enough. Given the high rent and COVID, it's a wonder they survived. If looking for more traditional Chinese food on the west side, this is a good option.
Spicy Girl (辣妹子) was where we headed during Lunar New Year in Orlando USA. After visiting Orlando International Premium Outlets, it was time for lunch and since it was the eve of Lunar New Year, we decided to try out the Chinese food in the vicinity. Taking a look in Google, Spicy Girl (辣妹子) seemed like a great venue this afternoon… Even though it was a Friday, there was nobody when we visited during lunch time. We approached the counter and asked if the restaurant was opened and we were asked to be seated. Looking around, we found the premise to be clean and spacious. There was a Chinese food programme that was playing on the TV. The premise had “2 levels” with a slightly elevated mezzanine with more seats available. There’s also a huge map of the world where we sat and visitors can indicate the area where they came from. Soon, the menu of Spicy Girl (辣妹子) was brought over to us… Browsing through the menu of Spicy Girl (辣妹子) Orlando, we found the offerings to be similar to Dong Bei, Sze Chuan and Chong Qing cuisine in Singapore. Spicy Girl (辣妹子) Orlando is probably specialising in Sze Chuan cuisine, with offerings such as Spicy Chicken (辣子鸡), Grilled Whole Strip Bass (重庆烤鱼(鲈鱼)) and Fatty Beef w. Hot Pepper (小炒肥牛) on their menu. We ordered the following for our Lunar New Year Eve’s celebration at Spicy Girl (辣妹子) with... This restaurant was a huge surprise, in a very good way. The food is amazing. We were expecting a decent Chinese food meal but were shocked to find an extensive menu of authentic Chinese dishes, usually not found in most restaurants. The fish in Mala sauce was spectacular, as was the beef in black pepper sauce. There were some communication issues as the server did not speak a lot of English. The pictures in the menu helped.
It's spicy and hot. If you just want America Chinese food, it's not the right spot. But If you want to try some authentic Chinese Sichuan food, this is the right place. One of the downside it's the washroom has odd smell, the waitress is well warm-welcomed.
Overall, the food is good. Food is 4.7 out of 5 to me but I do feel the service is … we were never been asked how is everything. I love the cumin pig feet and the noodle. Tomato egg is just okay. Little bit salty.

I usually don’t like to give low ratings because I know how hard it is to run small business. I had to write this because I ordered the spicy diced chicken with bone. Not only the chicken is dry the bones are dangerously blended into the fried spices I almost chew off my teeth and I think if an elderly had eaten them it might be harmful to teeth and throat. I very think anyone who wants to order that choose the no bones spicy diced chicken. I also strongly recommend the owner take this dish off the menu. The spicy beef tenderloin appetizer was really good. The chicken broccoli were too salty and the general tso chicken was overly sweet and also chicken was dry. They use styrofoam box for hot food which is what I really don’t like. I hope they see this and try do better for their customers as they have really good spices in the appetizer they must have a decent chef to make good spicy beef tenderloin. Keep up the good tastes Spicy Girl.
There’s no service at all. They were extremely short staffed. We arrived there at 7:10pm and got a table at 7:45pm. First course was served at 8:36pm. We only had one dish on the table at once. There were even customers fighting and arguing loudly for tables. The management was awful. Food was ok, but I won’t recommend you go when you have a bad mood, it’ll make it worse. For online orders. I saw a guy were there waiting for more than one hour to get his food. Don’t even try it.
They have a decently tasting lunch menu for a good price, however, the service is non-existent. This was the 2nd time I went and told the server I wanted General Tofu while pointing to the item on the menu. She brought out General Tso Chicken. Right flavor but wrong protein. So I kindly responded, "oh, I'm sorry. I ordered the tofu." The response I got was, "NO. You never said that. You ordered chicken." The entire table (6 people) said that no, I ordered tofu. If you don't care about getting what you ordered and want to save money, then go. I was so stunned by her response, I was actually speechless.
I visited Spicy Girl recently and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The service was exceptionally poor, with a very rude server who made the entire dining process uncomfortable. The wait time for everything was much longer than expected, adding to the frustration. Shockingly, we found a metal scouring brush in one of our dishes, and the server's response was utterly unacceptable; she simply removed it and walked away without any apology or explanation. The food, while flavorful, cannot make up for the alarming safety issue and lack of customer service. I advise others to eat here at your own risk. I would give zero stars if it were possible.
We visited this restaurant recently and ordered Sweet Sour Rib, Spicy and sour potato shreds, stir-fried green beans and spicy chicken. Sweet sour rib is not sweet sour at all, it’s a spicy rib. We mentioned we ordered sweet and sour but the witness said it has to be spicy. And the stir-fired green beans is not fresh enough at all. Half portion green beans can not been eaten. The witness was being unreasonable and refused to change it, which her altitude was very rude. Not recommended this place.
I walk into spicy girl and try to sit down there is approximately 3 people in the restaurant and the lady says I cannot sit down at this table I have to move to a different table and she says I am busy with only 3 people in the place
