Opinions de The Pinery Orlando
We had a wonderful experience here! Our waiter was absolutely amazing, full of energy, kind, and genuinely happy to be there. He explained the menu beautifully and made everything sound so good that I wanted to order a little bit of everything. The service was excellent from start to finish, the food was shockingly better than I expected, and the drinks were delicious. Everything came out fresh and flavorful. The only small downside was that we were celebrating my birthday and when it came time for dessert, the manager (who was very sweet and honest) let us know they were completely out of desserts. A little disappointing, but honestly not enough to take away from an otherwise great experience. I’ll definitely be coming back, and next time I’ll make sure they save me some dessert! Highly recommend giving this place a visit.
I can’t say enough about the quality of this place. Not only the food being amazing but the service from Jonas our waiter, was above expected. The manager Cam was delightful and very personable…even sharing personal suggestions in the area. I have waited to hit this place for 2 years due to usually hurricanes preventing it, but the service and food MADE IT WORTH THE WAIT! The appetizer board was excellent and the main dishes were perfectly cooked. Sometimes duck is dry but not here. I highly recommend it. The perloo was very flavorful and my favorite dish I had all weekend. Lastly the orange crème brûlée was the perfect pairing of orange and sweetness. I can see why this place is Michelin recognized. Thank you for making my birthday celebration an amazing dining experience. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to try something better and different than your run of the mill chains that we get so used to visiting Orlando.
This place was great! From the food, atmosphere, and staff. Kaley (spelling?) was our server and she was so attentive and kind, as well as the manager Cam. We tried a cocktail on the menu and he casually mentioned his own crafted cocktail which we asked to try which was also wonderful! If you go, order Cam’s Pear Pressure. The Brie appetizer is amazing and any ranch lovers should get the fries with ranch. Best ranch ever. I told them to sell it by the bottle, hopefully coming to a farmers market near you. We also ordered the duck and steak which was great. They offer valet parking and the parking attendant was very upbeat and friendly, even standing outside in 40 degree weather We will be back, especially to order Cam’s Pear Pressure 😉
Everything was great, From start to finish! Thomas our waiter gave exceptional service and all the food was delicious! From the blue crab dip to the filet and prime rib melt and the brown butter cake which was a waiter recommended dessert was delicious! Highly recommend!
This place is gorgeous. My boyfriend and I ate here for our Valentine's brunch. Every staff member was kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. I didn't know they were a Florida scratch kitchen, which made me love it more. We got the blue crab omelette with breakfast potatoes, and Ivanhoe brunch burger with fries with fries. Both were delicious, I forgot to take a photo lol Drinks we got the sunset on the patio and Find Wunder's blackberry lemon seltzer. Both delicious. We're excited to plan our return to try their dinner menu and more brunch items. If you're wondering if you should go for it! Also od you are a bourbon lover they have a beautiful variety to choose from ☺️
Service was good. We had reservations during their happy hour so we took advantage of the discount. Parking was easy in the apartment garage. Fresh catch of the day was Fish and Chips. We left satisfied and willing to recommend The Pinery to others. Make sure you make a reservation as they seemed to get busy quickly.
This place really surprised me. The food was really flavorful and fresh. The drinks were delicious and service was great! I'm definitely coming back!
This was a great find! I lucked up and visited during their restaurant week and it did not disappoint. The restaurant itself smells amazing, the food was fresh, made to order and hot! The crab dip, pork belly tacos, risotto, shrimp and dessert were all cooked to perfection too! The staff is very professional and attentive, my wine glass did not go dry, and they provided great recommendations from the menu. I am so glad I visited and I will be back the next time I am in town.
We joined Wandering Palm Food Tours and this spot was one of my favorite stops! The drink — festively named “’Til Death Do Us Part” — was incredible, and the food did not disappoint. The clam and shrimp perloo was absolutely delightful. Highly recommend!
This was my first time at The Pinery and I had a great experience. This restaurant was on the list for Magical Dining, so we have it a try. For appetizers, we had the Yellowfin Tuna Tartare and the Broiled Blue Crab Dip. Both were pretty good and I would try it again. For our entrees, we tried the Chicken and Alligator Linguine and the Shrimp and Clam Perloo. I wasn't sure about the Chicken and Alligator Linguine at first, but it turned out to be incredible. And the Shrimp and Clam Perloo came out with a class A presentation. The desserts finished the dining experience off strong with Brown Butter Cake and Chocolate Brownie S’More. And these also came out with great presentation. The Pinery is located across the street from the lake, so the view adds to the serene backdrop. The service was attentive without intrusive and our server made sure we had a good experience. This is definitely on the list for us to return and try more of the items on the menu.
This was our first time dining at the Pinery and it was a perfect and enjoyable experience all around! I took my mom and my 11 year-old son and we were treated exceptionally kindly by our wonderful server, Damian. He went above and beyond with everything from accommodating my son's food allergies to making us feel welcome and special with every interaction. We were so impressed with his service and attention to detail. Not to mention, every dish we tried was superb. My mom and I chose the summer prix fix menu and everything was cooked and presented to perfection and we could tell the chefs put their heart into it. Fried green tomatoes and fish tacos for appetizers, truffle risotto and baked salmon for our entrees, and peach cobbler and the owner's special key lime cake for dessert -- all this for only $38 per person and the portions were generous. My son got the brisket sandwich with fries and loved it. Even the carrots were "the best we ever had." Thank you to Damian and everyone at the Pinery for a fantastic meal. What a special place in the heart of Orlando. We'll be back soon -- can't wait to try the brunch!!
Great location in Ivanhoe Park. Food was really good and we happened to be there at "Golden Hour" (ie Happy Hour) 4-7pm. Wine 50% off. A Michelin rated restaurant but with very reasonable price. Sit inside or outside a on a cool day. We will be back.
Had a great experience at The Pinery! We came on a Saturday evening during Magical Dining. We had the tuna tartare, truffle risotto, and chicken and alligator linguine. All were great, but the risotto and tartare were exceptional! For dessert, I had the chocolate brownie s'more -- which was also exceptional! Our service was also great -- want to shout-out Damien for being very attentive and helpful with the recommendations. We will definitely be returning!
This place has great aesthetic and chill vibe. The cold brew coffee with hazelnut martini was amazing and the lobster dishes were so perfect! Our server Damien was so on point and hospitable! I will certainly come back to visit soon 🤤

We had a quiet little date night on a Monday evening and I wanted to try somewhere new that wasn't a steakhouse. I stumbled upon this absolute GEM while doing a Google search. We live in Sanford and don't go downtown often, but I am so glad we did. The Pinery was hands down one of the best dining experiences I've had in Orlando in the last 15 years I've lived here. Our waitress Katie was phenomenal and very knowledgeable on all of the menu items. The drinks were refreshing and perfectly mixed, we had the berry 75 which is a twist on the classic French 75 but I used empress gin and my husband enjoyed the shady cucumber which was very crisp. We started with the whipped Brie with honey which was so smooth and buttery with the perfect amount of sweetness. My husband ordered the red snapper with succotash and an arugula salad. He adored the citrus beur blanc sauce which was provided on the side and poured at the table, he said it was the perfect balance of butter and citrus. I ordered the sweet tea brined fried chicken. This was one of the fluffiest, buttery brioche buns I've ever had! The hot honey was spectacular and the garlic aioli was so fresh. The flavor combination was just outstanding. I enjoyed my side of Parmesan truffle fries as well. To top it all off we finished with the gooey s'mores brownie... FRESH from the oven. Think molten lava cake but in brownie form....wow. I needed a glass of milk it was so good! The valet brought us our keys with our vehicle pulled up as we were checking out. The manager Cameron also came and checked on us and chatted. It was just hands down a great experience. I cannot give them enough praise. We will most definitely be back!

Cameron, one of the managers, made my wife and kids’ first experience truly phenomenal from the moment we walked in and were warmly greeted. It was our first time dining here, and when I mentioned it was my wife’s birthday, Cameron acknowledged it right away before seating us. Our server, Merlin was both funny and knowledgeable. We shared jokes and bonded over Caribbean similarities, especially since I’m from the Caribbean myself. My two kids thoroughly enjoyed their meals. While my initial dish was a bit bland for my palate, Merlin immediately noticed and took action, replacing it with the catch of the day—which was absolutely incredible. It was so good that both my wife and I ended up ordering the same dish. Toward the end of the evening, I was a bit disappointed as my wife’s birthday had been forgotten despite being mentioned twice. However, while I was paying, Cameron realized the oversight and immediately made it right by returning with a candle in a champagne glass and a complimentary dessert for my wife. He continued to engage with us all the way through checkout. I can genuinely say that my family and I were extremely happy with the outstanding service we received. We will definitely be returning.

We discovered The Pinery through Chase Sapphire Reserve restaurant list, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. Every dish we ordered was beautifully prepared and full of flavor — truly refined and well-executed. The Blue Crab Dip, Fresh Catch, Smoked Duck, Crab-Stuffed Salmon, and Shrimp & Clam Perloo were all outstanding. Each plate felt thoughtfully composed and tasted as good as it looked. You can really tell this is a kitchen that cares about quality and consistency. We also appreciated being able to take advantage of the Chase dining credit, which made the experience even better. The restaurant was very busy, clearly popular with locals, so reservations are definitely recommended. A wonderful dining experience overall — refined, flavorful, and well worth the visit.
The Pinery was an unexpected delight, ranging from the quality of their dishes to the friendliness of their staff... although my wife did find our server's cell phone in the ladies room right after we arrived, so we started off on a winning note. The non alcoholic pineapple sugar was sweet and refreshing, and would have went well with rum or vodka. The alligator tacos were tasty, albeit somewhat dry, and the bread service was a filling appetizer. There were two dishes that were absolute knockouts, the first being the Brussel Caesar Salad. Perfectly cooked, perfectly tasty with homemade croutons and pork lardons, topped with a Parmesan medallion. The second knockout was the grass fed filet, which my wife was quoted as saying, was the best filet of her life. I didn't know what a mofongo was, so I went with the Birria Mofongo. Still don't really know what it is, but it sure was scrump. Bonus: the manager stopped by our table to chat and dropped a hot little hint. Those with a Chase Sapphire Reserve can get $150 off their meal twice a year, 6 months apart
I went to The Pinery for the first time during Magical Dining, and it was such a great experience overall. I made reservations ahead of time, and upon arrival we did valet parking (street parking seemed limited). The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, and the ambiance is perfect for a date night or a nice dinner with friends. When we checked in, we were told there would be about a 10-minute wait since other reservations were running behind, but it wasn’t bad at all. Once seated in a cozy booth, our server, Marlon, greeted us right away with waters and gave us time to look over the menu. For drinks, my friend ordered the Lady Russell and I had the Tropical Passion Fruit Moscato, which was refreshing and light. Since it was Magical Dining, the menu was a $40 three-course set. For appetizers, my friend had the pork belly tacos (which were decent but had a bit of a charcoal aftertaste), and I tried the broiled blue crab dip, which was delicious and creamy. For entrées, my friend went with the Wild Mushroom Truffle Risotto, while I ordered the Shrimp & Clam Perloo. I had pictured the dish differently in my head, but it still ended up being flavorful and enjoyable. Dessert was the highlight my friend’s Brown Butter Cake was rich, while my Pineapple Upside Down Bread Pudding was the perfect sweet finish. The service was attentive maybe a little too frequent with the check-ins, but I’d rather that than being overlooked. Overall, The Pinery was a great dining experience and I’d definitely go back, whether for another Magical Dining or a regular dinner.
Came here for HH (AO Oct. 2025) and was slightly disappointed no food was included, but that’s totally fine. The staff was friendly- greeted me upon arrival accommodating - my original seating was facing towards the sun, they let me move around Attentive - took my order and kept checking up on me. I had girl dinner which entailed fries and a side salad. Can’t complain as those are pretty tough to mess up. At the end I ordered one of their desserts (forgot which) but it wasn’t overly sweet, which I prefer. Had a great time coming here by myself and getting a view of lake Ivanhoe. I left my sun glasses somewhere nearby but the staff was helpful and let me search around and was patient in checking with other staff to see if anyone found a pair of shades. Thanks y’all
Yesterday we went to this restaurant to celebrate my birthday and it has a beautiful ambience. Parking is a little bit difficult to find the garage, but it was fine but it had an amazing ambience. Very beautiful area. Very beautiful. Resturant had low lighting. There was a lot of tables available, which I thought was interesting on a Friday night that we were able to see that there was tables available. Had a beautiful view of the lake, which was gorgeous. We started off with three different appetizers: pork belly, cauliflower and the crab dip. hands-down the crab dip was phenomenal. It tasted delicious 10 out of 10. It was oh my God it was amazing. I was so so surprised at how delicious it was then the cauliflower was really good and then the last I would say was the pork belly. We then got drinks. I don’t drink alcohol so I got a Mocktail. I just got the pineapple sugar, but I got it Virgin and it was delicious. It reminded me of a piña colada. It was amazing. It was very delicious. Then we got our entrées. My brother got the steak. My sister-in-law got the Got the catch of the day and then I got the chicken fried chicken. Everything was tasty. My green beans were cold however Everything was great, but I think the star of the show was the dessert. I got the butter cake and I think it was the best cake I might’ve had in my entire life. It was so delicious that cake. I would literally go there in order 100 of them, it was hands-down delicious. Service was slow which was surprising because they weren’t that busy but not a big deal. I think the cutest thing was that the servers overheard that we were celebrating my birthday we didn’t tell them directly. They just kind of just overheard our conversation and then they just surprised me with the cake which I thought was so sweet like it was really, really sweet. I love that

Packed house on a Sat night we had reservations and were sat at our table when we arrived. We ejoyed all three courses of our dinner. Failed to take photos of our appetisers- Tuna Tartar was by far my favorite part of the whole meal. 2hr meal for three of us on a Sat. Table water was not good at all.
Overall fairly good dining experience. Food was a bit under seasoned and service was not attentive. Location and atmosphere were great, and valet service was fantastic. Slightly disappointed that it didn't live up to the Michelin nods. Took my wife here for my birthday dinner and made the best of it. I will say the smoked duck was very good, and we also enjoyed the fried green tomatoes a lot.
So…Michelin stars are a thing, right? Why are the drinks and food inconsistent? The benedicts came out as boiled eggs. Fully cooked. Fully. 2/6 ordered the benedict for brunch, all were fully cooked. The plates are a cross of bowls and plates for some dishes. These “dishes” are quite unfortunate for meals that require you to cut the food, as they do not touch the table enough to keep the “dish” from popping up as you are cutting. Most of us kept popping our bowl up as we were trying to cut the food. Kept popping all over, with bowls constantly slamming against the table. Also, valet parking was interesting. Guy gave us the keys back at the front and told us where the car was…very interesting. The drinks are good…and, why were two drinks ordered twice and they came out completely different? No bacon and extras on the bloody mary, no orange in the old fashioned. Seems very lazy. Started with the bad, because this place should be better, according to Michelin. The good, the food is good. Would NOT recommend the benedict. Just make that clear. The biscuits and gravy: great flavor, and dry, not enough gravy. The shrimp and grits…this person was the the only person who did not finish their meal. Looked good though. People were all happy (except boiled egg benedicts), as the food does have good flavor. This place was good, and I wish this review could be better, the waiter was amazing. Everyone enjoyed the drinks, just…what are you gonna get? Again, isn’t Michelin a thing?
The location is fantastic for brunch. I highly recommend this place for hanging out w friends! My husband had a salmon salad, he really enjoyed it and his review of the meal is 4/5. I had a burger and found it to be extremely heavy. It is packed with protein, which is fantastic. I am only making the comment in case you are looking for a lighter burger, if that makes sense. The burger comes w egg, cheese, bacon, lettuce and tomatoes. The portion was quiet generous. Not a bad deal for $16.00.
