Just ordered here and the portion size is surprisingly good. Love that they give more meat than rice unlike other Jamaican restaurants I’ve been too. Happy with the speed of my delivery and the quality of the food. Will be ordering here again.

A little piece of paradise in Ossining! I have been meaning to try this place but didn’t get around to it. The food is Soooo gooood! I just wanted to order everything off the menu. Despite covid and not being able to dine in, the staff were super nice and accommodating. We ordered curry goat, brown stew chicken, a patty, Mac and cheese and plantain! Oh and a soup!! Delicious, I’ll be ordering for delivery!

I found myself up in Wappinger Falls for an event, on my way south back to the city I needed something to eat before dealing with Saturday afternoon traffic. I happened to stumble upon Cravin Jamaican Cuisine in Ossining online and decided to give them a try. A small little shop with a very attentive staff. I ordered a medium stew chicken and some chicken patties to go. The food was delicious and a generous portion, I had plenty left to take home. I was not as much of a fan of the patties as I was the stew. They were not bad, I just have had the opportunity to try several from all over as well as my sister makes some awesome ones. This was nice gem to find for both grab and go or a quick stop and grub on the spot. When in the area again I would Mine stopping by again, even if it’s just to grab to food to go. Just A Note: They have some ice cream (Jamaican run raisin and grape nut to name a couple) that I was interested in trying. However I was full and wouldn’t travel well. Maybe next time I’ll eat the ice cream and save the food. Lol.

I forgot to take a pic of my actual food but I always order a small. It’s tricky when they say small but the portions are big and the container is large. I think they should put it in a smaller container and price it lesser. This price for a small is too much like a medium price. Well I’ve been to places like Golden crust, Poppie’s Deli, Caribbean Thyme, Big Jerk & Richie rich. When you say small the prices range from $8-$10. Medium $15 above that’s their price range at Cravin. I don’t usually finish the food cause it’s a lot mostly rice. I don’t know maybe depending on what day or time I feel like the food I’m getting are leftover for the day. It’s tasty but not satisfying to my Jamaican food cravings. It’s a hit or miss. I can tell when a chicken is old versus fresh. I ordered jerk chicken , curried goat and so far it’s the fried chicken that I tasted and liked.

Ossining has mostly Spanish restaurants and we were lucky to come across this Carribean gem. Food is awesome and the place is nicely done. They have plenty of seating. Loved the goat curry with cabbage and white rice. Food was fresh and portions were generous. Loved the pickled cabbage and tender and flavorful meat. Sure to visit again.

I had the veggie stew and friend had the ox tail. Both meals were a good portion and tasty. Great selection of drinks and sweets. The staff were friendly as well as the other patrons. Cute back porch, thanks for welcoming experience!

Healthy comfort genuine Jamaican Cuisine. They serve a hefty portion well worth the price. The locale and the kitchen are always spotless clean. They hand craft the food in family size batches so is is always fresh right out of the hot pots and pans. I been coming here for a while the food is great.. The curry shrimp is amazing, the crazy part is it takes 40 minutes to prep the last time i called they had no chef . I've never heard of such thing an in the food industry but to cook shrimp 40 minutes!!. I dont understand that part. That's my reason for a 3 star i think that's ridiculous 40 minutes for curry shrimp.

Bought the stew chicken with rice and peas. The rice was gritty and not cooked right. 2nd time I bought this from them and this time I will really never buy their meals ever again. I’ll stick to their porrage and chicken soup when I’m desperate. The Jamaican Cravin in Whiteplains is actually very good but location in Ossining sucks and not worth the price which is over priced. Also gravy is heavy with bbq sauce 🤮

I’ve ordered once before from them and it was nasty, I said let me give them one more try maybe it was just the chicken? Nope , ordered today again, the Mac & cheese was super greasy no flavor, tasted sweet. The fish was dry and overcooked looks like it was overheated from yesterday. The oxtails too small for a large, the cabbage overly greasy no taste ! Rasta pasta again no taste & super greasy , never again

I bought Jerk chicken half for $11.95 + fee(credit card) and there were only 4 small pieces. 3 of them were so burnt that I couldn't eat the skin. It tasted much saltier than before. (The picture came out better than it actually was.)

Worst beef patties I ever ate in my life! They charged me full price for 2 burnt beef patties. I usually go to the white plains location but today i happened to come across a cravin Jamaican in Ossining and said what the heck. Big mistake! White plains at least doesn't sale burnt beef patties. I broke off a piece to show you the inside. Its just a piece but i swear on my child the whole beef patty was like this and was super crunchy.
