Cool staff, fast food except when over ran by the college which is understandable. The queso is on point give them a try. For a fast-food type place it's really good.

The best fast food anywhere. Fresh and tasty. Served by folks that always treat you right. This is my first choice for lunch and is heads and shoulders above Chipotle and Moe's. If you're hungry and need budget prices get the tacos. All your favorite tastes in smaller portions that will not disappoint.

Employees are always so nice and the food is consistent every time!! I truly wish they had this in my hometown. Food quality is 10x better than chipotle or moe’s, and wayyyyy cheaper. Free chips with most entrees as well, and the freshly made queso is a necessity. My favorite spot in Oswego!!!

It's cheap, it's fast, it's tasty, and the staff is super friendly. Also, I've got delivery a few times and whoever is their driver was always awesome. I haven't had delivery from them in like a year though, so hopefully they either still have that same woman or someone just as nice.

Ordered here for the first time, amazing experience with the staff. Very helpful and took me step by step through each burrito I ordered and was extremely patient with my first time! Burritos were amazing and made right, the tortia chips were great as well! Highly recommended!

Clean and well maintained inside & out. Staff was very welcoming, friendly & knowledgeable. Food was hot, plentiful & very tasty. I had the bowl with a few extra veggies. The bowl & a bottled drink were about $18, a few $ less if I didn't do the extra veg. Not a bad deal at all, esp since I got 2 meals out of the 1 bowl. And I'm not a little girl y'all. I ate at Fajita grill last night for the first time and I will definitely be back- I ordered a steak fajita and luckily the cashier (manager?) was very helpful with walking me through the process of making my order. Once I got home I had an awesome dinner and best of all they were supporting a local humane society with my order. Very fresh, tasty, and quick but much cheaper than similar restaurants (chipotle 🤑 anyone?).

There was quite the line there due to there being a fundraiser for my son's elementary school but it was well worth the wait. The food was on point and they even have vegetarian options, which is what I had. Go check them out, I promise you will love it.

The food is great when it hasn't been sitting out. The queso is top tier.

Fajita grill is one of my favorite lunch time restaurants. The food is always really fresh and they're usually adequately staffed so there is never a long wait. I also love the option to combine coupons when you have them. Staff is always very friendly. The one thing I get annoyed with when going there is whether you walk in alone or with 4 other friends, they try to make the whole group's order at once even if you're all payingseparately. This tends to get messy and confusing. It also makes me worry about food that is being grilled while making other items. I also often go with a friend who is vegetarian and she has had meat bits and juices dropped on her burrito before because they're reaching so far across the salad bar. If they want to service several people at once I think an assembly line style would work bettern

Fajita Grill absolutely beats every "corporate" Tex-Mex styled fast-food establishments in CNY! Food is always delicious, ingredients are always fresh and food is created right before your eyes as you watch on and personalize. So reasonably priced with generous portions as well!

I love the rice bowl at Fajita Grill, I tend to always get the same thing. Service is always friendly and food is fairly fresh. Prices are a little on the high side, but you are getting a lot of food for the price.

Good food. Made to order. Portions are big. My wife and I will share a burrito. With the extra chips on the side, and a huge burrito, you won't leave hungry. Get the Queso as a side. It's very good.

Ordered to go here and it was really good. My husband got steak fajitas and I got a marinated chicken burrito. Mine was a bit bland until I dipped it in queso but still good. They were nothing compared to the steak fajitas though. They were so tasty. Def. What I will be getting from now on

Fajita Grill in Oswego, NY is a nice place to eat. It's kinda like Chipotle but different in a few ways. There's a larger dining room to eat in and a shorter line at the grill. The food is excellent and grilled in front of you fresh. The staff work hard to serve what you want in a timely manner. The bathrooms and dining area were clean and the atmosphere was nice and very chill. I'd choose fajita grill over Chipotle or other copies any day. 4 stars.

Fajita Grill is a much needed alternative to other fast food places in the Fulton/Oswego area. Would’ve given them five stars but they really need to clean up their outdoor dining area at the Oswego location. The tables and deck are covered in mildew. Not exactly what I want to enjoy my food on.

Extremely efficient and polite employee helped my party which included a child who employee very patient with. Very happy with the staff. Only thing I didn't like about the cash out system is you can accidentally tip twice. There is a tip cup b4 the register but you can tip when you pay with your card. I have no problem tipping once as I said great workers. But tipping twice is to much.

A great place to get a lot of typical Mexican food at a very reasonable price. The only reason I can't give it five stars is that sometimes it takes a VERY long time to get through the line. (Only sometimes though.) One worker will often make several orders at once and I think things would actually move faster if they only handled one order per worker at a time. The food is great though and they're very generous with it. They have GREAT queso.

The food is generally good, but I always look forward to their queso. However, paying 7.50 for a large only to have it so soupy, it was like water and you can't dip your chip in it and expect it to stay on. Very disappointing.

The Fajita Grill plate I got was the Fajita. First thing first the food work station was a mess. Food all over the place. The workers were okay, not overly nice but not super friendly. The Fajita was very good and I had 6 tortillas. The size was very large. Food was fresh with good flavor. Visited the Fajita Grill again and was again....,very Happy with the food and pricing. Food was very good. The pricing was very good.

Good enough for a quick bite, the meat isnt flavorful, kind of dry. Chicken was tasteless, pork was not stewed with seasoning.

The food is decent and the delivery is TERRIBLE. A little over an hour after I delivered I called to see how much longer they would be taking. The employee had responded that she was about to start making the food. Why does it take OVER AN HOUR to begin making my food?!?!

Love the queso, and food in general. But I will NEVER understand how they get away charging extra for sour cream. Sour cream is NOT expensive (unlike guac which requires avacados and time to make) and should be free. So, 3 stars for that.

Typical Mexican fast food. Better than taco bell wirse than an authentic resturant. The food isgood and fresh. The resturant is somewhat clean and the staff know what they are talking about, however they are all young so a bit of a I dont care attitude. All in all a good place to grab a quick bite to eat.

Caught them near the end of the night. By the time I got home (less than 5 mins away) food was cold. Brown rice had hard pieces like it wasn't fully cooked.

Service was great, fast and friendly. The food wasn't nearly as good as I remember though, pretty bland actually. And not very warm. Used to drive 40 mins from Skaneateles area to go here or the one in Fulton but it's just not worth it anymore.

Tho I was delivering food for door dash there's seems to be smell of mold and rancid smells in the air when picking up the orders and tho I have herd good things for the food and alot of people are nice and kind I can't help but feel a bit grossed about the smell

I think they had a real opportunity to do something good. But the quality is lackluster. Could be so much better. It's not terrible but I would rather get taco bell. The only reason I don't is because taco bell is not on door dash. The main reason I gave it 3 stars is due to the hour and 20 minute delivery time. As they assemble and don't actually cook any protien I am wondering why it takes this long. Other restaurants are just as busy and take a third the time. I mean I don't expect alot from people working minimum wage. I don't know how you expect people to be motivated at 14 an hour.

The reason I rate this 3 stars is because you will only either get 1 star food or 5 star food when you go. And I go ALOT, or used to. The consistency of the food and their ingredients is awful, with almost daily changes in taste (yes I can confirm I have an unhealthy obsession for Fajita Grill). There is 4 people out of their entire staff I trust to make my food because even the preparation of the food is vastly different between employees. Tables and chairs are clean, however, the ceiling always has missing tiles or leaks, some even over the serving counter. They cannot keep employees, which I can only assume is due to wages. You will see 75% new faces everytime you are in there. Ever since their main store manager left 6 months ago, the store has gone down hill even further. I completely believe this to be the fault of the owner and GM.

I like fajita Grill in general, but usually eat at Fulton location. The service here was kind of rude,and direct. Not friendly feeling. The food was also inconsistent compared to other Fajita Grill locations we ate at. The flavors still great and food quality good though. The food prep area was not clean at all. With the 15 Staff they had on seems like they could be using their time better. Food was mediocre. Chips and queso was the best part of my meal

Sloppy food with exaggerated prices. Not even the fact that my meal was free (gift card) made up for it. That said, food was still edible and the two ladies at the counter were very nice so 3 stars, not less.

Chipotle style burrito bar. Since the two are so similar I can't help but compare the two. Prices are on par with one another. Fajita grill has considerably more ingredient options. However Chipotle is of better quality and their overall product is better. Also fajita grill was alarmingly messy in the prep area possibly due to high customer volume.

This is the second time I've ordered of the app. It takes 20 minutes or more just to put the order through because the app keeps glitching, this happened both times. Now I'm sitting in my car 13 minutes after the order was supposed to be ready for pick up.... again. Last time, I was waiting longer in my car, was unable to get through on the phone for them to bring my food out so I then had to go wait in line to get my order. The food is good. I really like it. But the app and length of time it takes to get the food is absurd.

Usually a pretty good place. However the last few months they have been very inconsistent. In portion sizes especially burrito size and chip portion. This last visit was the worst by far. Before my tortilla was heated he asked all the questions and got my whole order and proceeded to make it from memory... yeah I had to keep correcting him. Also I swear the employee gave me half portions of everything, except hot salsa it was the only thing he gave me not only a full scoop but a heaping scoop. The burrito was thin. I dare call it a pencil and the chips were almost non existent. Needless to say not a great experience, I won't be back if this is the direction this company is going.

One scoop of steak split between 3 tacos?? No salsa given with chips? Who wants just chips with no salsa? Still hungry after 3 half empty tacos. Last time going there.

While I enjoy FG usually, I must note the terrible service I saw today. Having ordered two burritos, no side dip was given in either box even though it was specifically requested. The burritos were not properly mixed and fell apart in the boxes on the way home. 4/21 7:30 PM

Place has some good food for Oswego. The service is the real problem, you will almost always stand in a line at this place. The system behind the counter seems mismanaged and could easily be fixed. Staff seems confused and unengaged. It’s a Knock off Moes or Chipotle.

Got a delivery and all the food was cold, every single tortilla shell including the burrito was soggy and the steak was missing for my fajita. I called and got a refund for some of it and the lady offered to make new food as well, though I didn't want it anymore.

Ordered 3 rice bowls and chips, one of the rice bowls was $16 outside of delivery and tip, and it came half filled and completely cold.

First time going on with high expectations, heard a lot of good things about this place. I worked at Chipotle before, and the way they were running this place was so inefficient. An employee would prioritize online orders over you standing there for 5 minutes. Then, an employee walks you all the way down the line (from chipotle, it’s a lot more time efficient if employees have one station). Then the worker (who I assume is new) failed to speak loud enough telling me that veggies are extra, you can’t be soft spoken AND wear a mask. At least the food tastes good

The place is so messy and gross. The cheese dip and salsas are great which is why there's a 2 star rating, but when those behind the counter put the scoops in any of the containers, they bring out so much juice from salsa and beans and meat that it gets incredibly soggy. When you ask for veggies, they grab a handful and throw it on your food. Those serving you typically take no care to keep the work area clean. Beans and salsa are everywhere. The helpings from the veggies and fresh ingredients are way too generous...same for the sauces. I have gotten in the habit of asking for "just a little ______" so they just give me a normal amount. Tonight, I went in for sides only for an event for my students. I asked for bowls of salsa, guacamole, and queso. I was given a look as if I were crazy (I don't know why...but he just looked confused). He was also surprised when he was ringing me up, I asked if he was going to get chips, and his response was "oh you want chips too?" Drive the extra 30 minutes to Chipotle or Moe's.

There's usually a one in 3 chance that your order will be wrong. Your drink will be warm. And your food has a 50/50 chance that it's cold if you order for delivery. If you have an allergy you need to repeat it several times, or risk death.

Every time I go to Fajita something is missing or completely incorrect. I’m genuinely shocked at this because there are soooo many people upfront working. Every item on my order that they had to make was circled, yet more than half of my order was incorrect. For as much as some of the items are, I would hope to actually get my order as I order it. I’ve worked in restaurants before, so I understand the mistakes. However, this is consistent and something that is expected to happen whenever ordering from here.

Usally really like eating here but got a Steak Quesadilla earlier and the rice was rock hard in it. Not to b dramatic lol but kinda ruined my whole quesadilla honestly. Then when my boyfriend went in to get it for me they were rude to him.

Upcharge for sour cream, up charge for guac, upcharge for vegetables, a miniscule amount of meat, and a 3$ dixie cup for soda goes to show this chain only cares about profit and not their customers.

Moved out of state and was so excited to return for my favorite, Oswego Fajita Grill...I was so very disappointed! The service was terrible, very unorganized, food all over their clothes, did more talking to each other than the customer, and the place was trashed, food everywhere... Once I finally received my dinner, my appetite was gone...sad!!!

They left out 4 of the 8 items in my pickup order, they literally left out half of the order.

Only ordered two servings of queso and chips. Went to the end of the line to be cashed out and still stood there as if I was still standing in line. Cheese has changed in a bad way. It is thicker, darker and tastes different. This was my second time returning after noticing the cheese was different. I don't like it, I will not be returning. Oh and the last time I ordered two orders of chips and queso, I got one order of chips.

I ordered a chicken rice bowl for pick up and it was in my friends bags and hers was in mine. Then, instead of chicken they gave me beef. This happens too often to count.

Ordered a burrito, just to have almost nothing come with it. Veggies and bacon is an upcharge, sour cream upcharge everything costs extra when ordering a burrito. The amount of meat they put on it is almost NOTHING compared to the rice they give. Makes sense rice is cheap. I got normal amount of chicken on it but that costs me extra, taco sauce? Extra.... queso? Extra. And the amount they put on it, it was a drizzle compared to the size of the burrito. Never going to taste that! Ill never come here again. Mo's is much cheaper and gives normal burrito with no upcharge.

Horrible! Went here with family for lunch for the first (and last) time. There were several long hairs in our food, when we brought it to their attention they did remake it but there was more hair. Within a couple of bites several of us started getting nauseous. Taste was ok-ish but everything was ice cold and just tasted off.

fajita grill’s prices are getting too high for their quality, the taste of the food depends solely on who they have cooking that day. delivery times are way too long. paid $40 to feed 2 people and had to wait an hour to even get the food. it was lukewarm at best, quesadillas weren’t crispy, nachos didn’t taste like anything, all the meat was dried out, the chips were starchy, and the queso tasted like plain american cheese - nothing had any spice or flavor. usually the food is at least a little worth the wait and the price but this was just disappointing.

Rude girl!!! This has to be the worst only reason time gets added cause you can not handle the rush then adds time for you slow slow which makes deliveries late! Can’t handle the heat get out the restaurant business

My friend and I order the same food each time. We are charged a different price each time. It's also clear when a food prep associate is new here, they're the ones with the good attitude, who pay attention and correct order mistakes BEFORE they ring you up at the register. I would sooner visit the Fulton location than come here again.

I've been eating there every other week or so since 2009. Ordinarily, whenever I've ordered queso with my meal, it has always been on the side. It even states on the menu (see picture) that it is a side. On the new app, you apparently have to order it specifically from the sides portion otherwise they put it on your food. Having never used the app before, I didn't know this. I called and asked about the issue and was told that there was nothing they could do for me because I ordered it that way on the app. I would have to order and pay for my food again. The manager I spoke with said he would ask his boss and call me back. I missed the call but got the voice message (see picture 2). Understandably, I was upset. I find that unacceptable. You're telling me you have no recourse but to charge me for food I bring back and then charge me to remake it. At this point it's a matter of principal; so, I took the $14.20 loss. I brought the food back, left, and decided to change my review from a five star to a one. I definitely won't order from there again. Disappointed 😞

We got there, there was about 12-15 people in line. First off the food prep counter was disgusting, old food all over it and opened lids with pieces of food that fell in the container from the one next to it. I saw 6 employees, 2 by the register, one making an online order i believe because it was on paper and was nobody's in line, one mixing and restocking rice, 2 walking around looking confused. Than the girl mixing the rice, start waiting on the next Customer, finally one of the confused employees caught a clue and waited on the next Customer, but you could tell he didn't know what he was doing.. Than one of the guys by the register yelled "Just to let everybody know, we won't have any Queso for a bit, I asked, how long is a bit? He went in the backroom, came back and said, the cook said at lease an hour or so, i asked, you mean you no longer make it a head of time? He said, i don't think so... At that point, most the customers were already frustrated and more than half of us walked out. I was in line for at lease 15 minutes already and i don't know how the ones in front of me have been waiting, but on our way out one guy said it was a wasted half hour with no food. The Place used to be good but the last couple times have been a let down. We left that one drive to ththe one in Fulton, left that one too without food. We were the one only ones in there. The girl started making our order, the food looked old like it had been there for awhile. She told us it was all fresh. The finally straw was i asked for Bacon on my Nachos she took the ladle out of the Bacon container full of Grease pulled it on the Nachos, i said NOPE WE ARE DONE Disgusting i wanted Bacon not Grease and We walked out, Done Last time for us, it's too bad the place used to be Good.

Cross contamination on every food they touch with the same gloves on, they use their hands and not a proper serving spoon. When done preparing food gloves should be changes when bagging food. It’s one big bacteria breeding ground and someone to get very sick

Ordered myself and my boyfriend dinner from here, (I have only ever eaten here once and that was the fulton location, but he loves it so we decided to get food from the Oswego location.) I thought, sure why not try something new? Well we both ended up getting the loaded nachos with queso, and I also, got a quesdilla and a sprite. His nachos were perfect, however, I was supposed to have black beans, sautéed mushrooms and cheese on mine. Well, there was only maybe 5-6 beans in the entire bowl, and the "sautéed" mushrooms were ice cold and hard, and for some reason they LOADED tomatoes on it which I definitely did not order because I hate tomatoes and it also does not say tomatoes on our receipt so I know I didn't accidentally order them by mistake. I thought, okay, whatever I still have my quesdilla, I'll just eat that. My quesdilla was supposed to have the SAME ingredients (sautéed mushrooms, black beans, and cheese) with the addition of taco sauce. Well I go to pick it up and this is ALSO LOADED with tomatoes to the point where the tortilla shell is completely soggy and falling apart from the moisture, I couldn't even hold it. On top of that, the sprite I got tasted AWFUL. Either their soda machines need to be cleaned out or something else was up with it, because it was completely undrinkable for myself and my boyfriend who tried it just to be sure it wasn't my taste buds. So then my boyfriend decides to call the restaurant (we ordered for take out) to see if we can get the order fixed or refund it or something, a man named Nate or Nick(not sure if he is the manager or not) answered the phone and placed my boyfriend on hold and said he would be right with us as soon as he was done helping the customer he was with, now my boyfriend has been on hold for literally half an hour, so he hangs up and calls back, and the man told him that he tried to answer the call and no one was there, which is a lie because NO ONE picked up our call, and then proceeds to tell my boyfriend to wait another 15 mintes. The amount of money we spent on this order, I expect better service&quality. My boyfriend and I have both worked in food service before so we undstand that mistakes are made, and were super polite about it when initially calling but after being put on hold for an HOUR with no resolution or any support of compensation or anything towards us. I will never be eating here again and would definitely not recommend anyone else either. The quality does NOT equal the price.

I don't find myself in Fulton or Oswego very often, but when I do, I always go to Fajita Grill. It was one of my favorite spots while I was in college, and I used to love it. Fast forward to today: stopped in for lunch with a friend. While ordering, I was a bit taken aback by the state of the food station, and the young buck preparing the meals absolutely carpet-bombing the entire mis-en-place with rice and beans every time he went back for another scoop. Whatever--I've worked in restaurants; they were probably just recovering from a busy lunch and hadn't gotten the opportunity to clean up yet. Paid $46 for two bowl entrees, a large chips, queso, and drinks. Seems high, but given inflation, again, whatever. Left, went home, and dug in to find this blue bit of...something. I'm sorry, but when people make the conscious choice to eat out and spend what amounts to a cart of groceries for a single meal, I expect better. I don't know what this is, and I don't want to know (again considering my prior work in kitchens, the possibilities are endless and mostly disgusting). It's not a bit of a latex glove; that's all I can really say for sure. What's particularly troubling is that they have a contract with SUNY Oswego that allows students to eat there using their meal plan cards. They deserve much better for what they're paying in room/board/food. I'm just bummed, I guess. I'll never know if/when management changes, if anyone working there is actually FoodSafe Certified, or anything like that, so the safest course of action is obviously to never patronize either establishment anymore, leave this review and be done with it, which I am doing, regrettably.
