The atmosphere of the bar was wonderful. Everyone was really nice and peaceful, including employees and customers alike. The lighting was not too bright nor too dim. The food was AMAZING!!!! The bartender was very nice, kind, and helpful. Will definitely come again sometime.

Nice bar and grill. Ate dinner there while visiting SUNY Cortland. Clean place, nice staff, good beer selection. Food was good too.

Great food in a relaxed bar-like setting. Everything from apps/chkn wings/burgers/sandwiches/salads. My wife recommends the Reuben. No draft beer but a decent selection of can/bottled.

Change can be good. But not the Woodchuck Saloon. Menu change is good. However, it's now limited and far too expensive for a pub on the east side of Oswego. We were shocked about asking to be seated (?), so we opted for the bar. Very strange. Good thing, because the bar tender, Olivia, was the best thing about the changes in the saloon. She was friendly, attentive, sarcastic, entertaining, and an around great bar tender. It was a shock to see the fancy-pants tables, wine glasses on the tables, and wine rack by the men's room. Specials on the board by the bathroom in the back of the place? What's up with that? Cleaner bathroom is great, but I almost peed in the trashcan where the urinal use to be. What happened to the stuffed woodchuck? Woodchuck was an institution on the east of Oswego. No longer. Again, change can be good, but not the changes to the WCS.

Good food 🍔 would be five stars if the older bartender wasn’t rude about closing the front door because the AC was on in September at 8 clock at night in NY 🫠 waitress who took our order and drinks did excellent and was very pleasant 🙏

Passing through and visited Woodchucks because of the reviews. Disappointed that wings were overcooked. First time I didn't finish an order of wings. Atmosphere is 10/10 for a local watering hole with good music.

Bar service was good. Food was overpriced and not worth the rave. The house made chips were really good. The onion rings were good. The burger wasn't good. I ordered medium rare, although I expected to receive well done as most places disregard what the customer wants when ordering burgers and only serve well done. I got medium well. So just slightly better than expected on the doneness. Anyway, not only was burger overdone, but it had an odd taste. Hard to explain. I don't think it was bad meat. Maybe low grade, but should still taste good. It wasn't the seasoning, but perhaps a lack of. Either way the burger didn't taste like beef to me and definitely not good. I also added bacon to burger. Got one strip of bacon broken in half. Seriously. Didn't even realize it was there taste-wise. For the price and all of the rave I expected a top of the line burger, but received less than mediocrity. I don't know, maybe I picked the wrong day or time or something.
