I ate here for the first time tonight with my girlfriend and I think we found our new place! Our server Eddie gave us some of the best service I have had in a very very long time, if not ever. He went above-and-beyond in every possible way. The food service, timing, and presentation was absolutely perfect. The atmosphere was relaxing and casual, yet classy. We were given a professional and friendly table touch by the manager, and to top it all off all of the food was absolutely delicious! This is a must-have from anywhere near Oviedo! And I easily recommend even an out-of-towner to travel to taste as it is located conveniently on the park front for a nice walk afterwards. Easy 5 stars!

Relaxed and Friendly classy establishment in the Middle of Oviedo in the Park. They offer a variety of food for different tastes and an assortment of cocktails and spirits. Highly recommended for a dinner date or group gathering.

Went for their brunch menu on a Sunday. Excellent service, the live music was nice, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend the Pomegranate Mimosa and the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes.

Outstanding service, Food was the freshest I have been served. Today, I had the Cobb Salad with Grilled chicken. This wasn't just a salad. This was the most beautifully plated salad I have ever had and the pickled onions elevated this entire dish! So delicious in fact, I called my husband to take me back tomorrow for dinner!!

The food was excellent! They have a few unique side items which I love! I love to try new stuff all the time. I loved the Berry Mint Cooler, non-alcoholic!! I had the Garlic Sauteed Spinach, White Cheddar Grit Cake, so good!! Their steaks are very tasty as well. We had the Bistro with Red Wine Glaze and the Filet Mignon with compound butter. We asked for Medium Well for both steaks but my husband's steak was a little Medium in part of it, mine was good though. The place was packed, a little loud but that's pretty norm for here on a Friday night. The service was very good but a little slow. My husband and I are excited to go back and try some of their other items.

We absolutely love this place! The food is 10/10 every time we go. Service is friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is chill and very clean. They also have delicious cocktails made with fresh, vibrant ingredients. A lunch date fave!

Great food. Not sure if it was because we got there at 8:30pm but they were out of a few things. But what they did have was delicious.

Service was fantastic. Children’s meals were very affordable and every item on the menu looked delicious. The black and blue salad was amazing. The truffle fries are made from scratch and I love a fry that actually tastes like it used to be a potato. The burger and steak were juicy and cooked perfectly. The blue cheese dressing makes my mouth water thinking about it. Definitely will return when in the area. Spent $80 on lunch for 2 adults no alcohol and a kid so definitely not cheap but it was worth it.

Marlowe's Tavern is my favorite place to go to in Oviedo. Would love to have location in Lake Mary, Florida. I am never disappointed when I go to Marlowe's Tavern.

My family and I have been coming here since they opened. The food, service, and the atmosphere have been always great and yesterday we really enjoyed the live music by HEAR RIGHT NOW guitarist!

We've been to Marlow's Tavern in Oviedo several times, including their Sunday Brunch. The food is very good and we have not been disappointed with any of our selections. The service is also very good overall but not always quick... this is not necessarily a bad thing but something to note if you're in a hurry.

Server was kind and attentive. Food is great! We love the appetizers and cocktails!

When we walk in and see Evan or Sara at the bar we feel a social comfort with a twist of a great dinner! The table servers (can’t name them all) are always so nice and attentive! Food is always delicious, fresh and never disappoints! Menu has something for everyone. Love this restaurant!

On Friday I went to Marlows tavern for the first time. The restaurant had a nice look to it. I sat at the Bar & Kara was bartending & serving. She greeted me and gave me all of the different menus. She never rushed me which I appreciated. I ordered the New Fashion and was very nice flavors. Loved the drink. I ordered the Fish tacos with fries. The fish tacos were OUTSTANDING. Great flavors. I went to see the Chef and told him one of the best tacos I ever had. Fries were perfect. Had the Pumpkin cheesecake and was amazing. I highly recommend them. As for Kara....I could tell she has alot of passion and really cares about her job. She had her regulars there and looks like she had alot of them. Marlows Tavern is very Lucky to gave her. This was my first time going there and I loved it! Our server Lauren is so welcoming and friendly. She is very attentive, the menu looked great but I wasn’t sure what to get. She recommended the Shrimp and grits and it was delicious! I am glad I came across this gem in Oviedo, I’ll definitely be back!

We had such a wonderful experience at Marlow’s Tavern in Oviedo! Thank you for hosting the Orlando Women’s Social Club — our group had an amazing time. The service was truly five-star, the food was delicious, and the staff was warm, attentive, and so accommodating. We really enjoyed our lunchtime together and appreciate how supportive you were of our community of women. We’re looking forward to coming back again soon!

Yum! Super good food and quick service. I had the firecracker shrimp and spiced chicken. Shoutout to server David! He made my birthday wonderful. This restaurant is priced healthily as well for the value and quality.

We sat outdoors and enjoyed that there was no smoking on the patio. The kettle chips appetizer was great! I had the hamburger with truffle fries. Both were excellent. But, the best part was the chocolate cake dessert. Absolutely PERFECT! Perfect balance of flavors. This place did not disappoint.

This place is popular.. The service is excellent.. seating was comfortable and They have outdoor seating as well . The food options were a little limited but the quality was fairly good

This was our first time there, myself and my son. It has a very nice atmosphere. They were pretty busy, told us there's be a 20 minutes wait. We waited less than 10 minutes and were sat! That's awesome! I ordered the Korean BBQ tacos they have on special and my son orderd the kids Surf and Turf. Both were a very good size portion and tasted pretty good. The Cesar dressing was a little bland but good. My son thoroughly enjoyed his meal and finished every last crumb! We will definitely return!

Casual dining but great tasting dishes! The Steak & Blue salad was amazing. Good choice of wines. Loved the cartoons in the washrooms.

Four notches above the usual "Fern Bar" atmosphere. Seductive mood lightning, generous wrap around patio and some of the best service in the area. The open kitchen is a plus for us.

Great new menu at the Tavern in Oviedo. The crab cake sandwich and the crusty group sandwich are first rate. The French fires are the best. The entire staff is professional and efficient. The atmosphere is really great but can be loud. A booth is a must for conversation. Looking forward to our next visit.

Firecracker shrimp was a great appetizer,perfect amount of sweet and heat.for lunch we had the chicken Panini with tomatoes bisque soup,soup was delicious but sandwich was not hot or pressed and melted. Ordered the fried chicken salad sandwich,lots of empty wrap,very lite on the chicken filling. The best thing on the plate was the fries,I always order ranch and honey mustard with them and all 3 were perfect.was surprised how busy it was at lunch even without a discounted lunch menu.

I've always had a good meal at Marlow's, until today. I ordered the shrimp and crab Louis, which is their take on a Louis salad....no problem there. The problem was that the shrimp were spoiled. The chef did come out and apologize, however, that dish never should have left the kitchen. The rest of our meals were just okay.

Closes at 10 pm got there at 8pm and by 9:15 felt like I was getting rushed out. Employee was sweeping very aggressive in the booths and the booth behind mine, she was hitting every thing with the broom. Felt like i was intentional. Really uncomfortable

I will start by saying I am usually very impressed with Marlow's Tavern. They brought back my favorite item, salmon with cous cous, so I had to go get some! I was quite disappointed in this overall visit, however. I made a reservation because they are normally quite busy and they were so I was glad I did but when they sat me and my date, we were sat at a long table with a big family on the other side. Not a good date night atmosphere. Then the salmon came and was so salty it was difficult to eat. My date got a burger and said his was also overly salty. I mentioned to the waiter that it was VERY salty but he didn't even offer to remake it. I am not sure after that experience that I will be back. It is pricey but normally worth it. Not this time.

We stopped in for lunch on a weekday recently and left after a pretty disappointing experience. Right off the bat, they were out of the first AND second beers I tried to order, which by itself is usually understandable (if not a little annoying). Our server was friendly enough, however, once our food was ready they were nowhere to be found... I watched our plates sit under the heat lamps for nearly 10 minutes, while a different server picked up and brought food to at least 2 other tables in that time. Even so! All this could be forgiven had the food been of good quality. But as you can probably guess... it was not. I ordered the Crispy Grouper sandwich, which is described on the menu as having "tempura [breading], jicama slaw, ... sesame brioche bun." Not only was the sandwich itself surprisingly small, the fish was very clearly not tempura and instead had a beer-batter style coating. The "jicama slaw" was just a sprinkling of dry red cabbage that looked like it was dumped pre-chopped out of a bag a few days past its best-by date. And if that was a brioche bun, I'm John Cena. (The fries were ok, but a little limp after ten minutes under the tanning lamp.) For nearly $20, it was a bummer of a lunch. Does Marlow's make a habit of serving food that isn't even close to what is described by their menu, or is it just this location? Was it just a really off day for them? Am I really John Cena in disguise? Find out at your own risk, I suppose.

I don’t like to do bad reviews but if you like a place you most do it. Today we visited the restaurant and ordered *PETITE DELMONICO RIBEYE*, 8 oz. And instead the “chef” being honest and say he run out of ribeye, he had the genius idea 💡 of sending to the table another 6 oz cut with a very bad quality and salty. I told our server to tell the chef, we saw she did but he acted like he didn’t care. Underneath this review I’ll live a picture from an old post when things were different 😔 as a proof of my Marlow’s loyalty.

The green beans were left off the plate, and this is what was given when I asked for them. Never saw fresh green beans that looked like this. No host up front when we walked in. Service was very slow and the restaurant wasn't crowded. Menu doesn't have a good selection. Was here a month ago and we won't be going back.

I couldn’t tell you how the food is. We sat outside for 20 minutes waiting for someone to come and wait on us It never happened. We went inside to check and see what was going on and they were all horsing around and eating. We were the only customers outside.

Stood in the door way waiting to be helped. No one came so walked up to one of the waiters and asked where can I order to-go. He said g I to the bar. Went to the bar and no one helped me. They were to busy cleaning glasses and restocking wine. A guy walked in my direction then turned around and said excuse me to get his attention and he completely ignored me. Waited for a few more mins. Absoutely no help at all. T here were 2 people behind the bar and restocking and cleaning glasses. I left and will never go back. You guys should train your employees better or get some that know what they are doing. Horrible restraunt!!!

My family and I have visited Marlows a couple of times and the food has always been good. Unfortunately this past weekend our visit was very poor. The service was extremely slow and waited for our food about an hour after it was ordered. My wife’s chicken was undercooked and overly salty. She did not eat all of it for concerns of eating undercooked meat. My daughter’s steak was tough and my brisket sandwich was extremely overcooked and tough. We ordered the crème brûlée which was liquidy and the wrong consistency, the coffee chocolate cake tasted like boxed cake and the bourbon bread pudding tasted like soggy milk bread. We are not ones to complain at restaurants, we just do not go back. I hope they can improve the experience and ensure a quality product for future customers.
