If you're looking for some quality, authentic Mexican food, this is a great little place to stop by. The food is good and the prices reasonable, which is saying a lot in Pacific Grove.

Stopped off because My wife said she knew a spot from when she was a kid. Plus we were all super hungry. Food was great everything was good. My wife actually didn't like her chorizo burrito, but we loved everything else .

Very delicious burrito and the margarita left me wanting more. Can't wait to come back for lunch. Those chips and salsa 😋 also good with just the right amount of flavor to spice.

Service was on point: friendly, attentive, and personable. Food was great: just what you'd expect from a little Mexican restaurant. I had the el jeffe burrito with carnitas as the meat...it was absolutely perfect. Don't waste your time going or ordering from the expensive outfits on cannery row that seem to consistently get your order wrong and have to fight for parking. Los amigos is where it's at! Absolutely will be going back again and again!

Great little restaurant. Wonderful friendly service. The trio fajitas was huge portion with great flavor. Our family also ordered the flautas, mole and enchiladas. Great salsa and chips. A good value. We will be back.

The best in authentic Mexican food! Great salsa was indication of good things to come! The enchiladas suisas were amazing - some of the best I have ever had! I will return to this hidden gem often when I want delicious Mexican cuisine!

Our first time there. VERY good food. Staff was friendly. Food was plentiful (I took some home which I rarely do). I tried a 3 piece combo: cheese enchilada, beef taco, beef burrito, rice and beans. The burrito and enchillda were excellent...the taco average. We got there just at the right time on Friday around 5:30 pm as it was filling up quickly by the time we were finished. Parking was a bit of a challenge. Located between Safeway and Trader Joe's. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Second time here & once again not disappointed. I had the chicken chimichanga with rice & beans. Outstanding! Husband had chicken & beef tacos with rice & beans. Drinks were cold & the service was quick & friendly. We definitely will be back.

The best Mexican in Monterey/pacific grove by FAR. The chicken enchiladas, the rice, the black beans are just ugh chef kiss, the employees are so kind, great location. 10/10 would fly to Monterey just to eat here

Excellent authentic Mexican Food, very, very tasty with good size servings. Atmosphere is good, not the best, but acoustics definitely much better that the "other" Mexican restaurant here in town where on average you can't hear yourself talk if you dine after 5:30. So this was very pleasant, and will be my new spot for Mexican Food - especially on a day I really want to have a great meal and relax! Noise level was very nice in comparison. Will definitely return. Prices are excellent, service the same with a very courteous waiter. If you thought going to Pepper's was good....... this far exceeds! Can't get better in Pacific Grove!

While on vacation, we wanted to support small business rather than spend our $ at a chain restaurant. Our party of 5 had a variety of meals and everyone was pleased with their choices. The service was outstanding and the food was SOOOO flavorful! I've been to many Mexican restaurants - some are the 'go to' when family or friends come from out of town but THIS restaurant would be my new #1. Too bad I live 6 hours away. FANTASTIC food!

We had the special - blackened salmon tacos (with pineapple pico and avocado slices) - it was amazing. The fish was delicious and the portions were perfect. We also tried the chicken mole enchiladas which had the perfect amount of spice and melt in your mouth. The staff there were helpful and friendly. Will be back for sure.

Best Mexican restaurant we have ever been! Oh my goodness. We have shrimp and crab enchiladas, grande chicken Burritos and trio Fajitas. The crab meats are real and well seasons. The burrito is Huge and super delicious. Fajitas is done right and seasoned beautifully. We will sure come back again! Must visit !

Truly the best wet burrito I think I have ever had and I have eaten a lot of them. Got half chicken/half fish burrito with green sauce on top. That green sauce was amazing, so flavorful. Added a bit a Tapatio and was just blown away.

Truly the best wet burrito I think I have ever had and I have eaten a lot of them. Got half chicken/half fish burrito with green sauce on top. That green sauce was amazing, so flavorful. Added a bit a Tapatio and was just blown away.

The food was very tasty and the decor felt quite authentic. The staff were friendly and we received some extra dips on the house which was a pleasant surprise. There's also plenty of parking here so it's easy to get to. The only downside was the service was quite slow but it was a busy evening when we visited so not that big of an issue. We would definitely be back for some reasonably priced Mexican food if we're ever in the area again.

The fajitas were very good…the dish i ordered was a different interpretation than I was expecting.

The server was nice and professional. It was quiet, so we were seated quickly. We appreciated the free tortilla chips and salsa. The chicken tortilla soup was hardy, albeit very salty. The chicken fajitas were slightly bland and dry. The artichoke enchiladas were underwhelming.

Friendly, family owned and perfect service. Food was just ok. Got camarones al mojo de ajo and it was subpar, only got six shrimp for paying $20 for the plate. Meh.

Not the place to go if you want classic street tacos. I got my tacos dripping wet on top of a plate of lettuce piled with cheese. A single olive and a tomato slice. Odd combination and there was no mention of cheese/lettuce/olives on the menu. Chicken was good though.

I give it a two thumbs down. I asked for the Chicken Mole, the flour tortillas were not heated up enough. The Chicken mole was salty and the chicken was dry and very thinly sliced. I am so done with these places. No one seems to care…. I haven’t lost my tastebuds yet. Never again will I go here… done wasting money on food that is not worth putting in my belly. When I did say something to the waitress she just brushed it off like nothing. But it’s not her that I have a problem with…. It’s the person cooking the food!🤮🤮🤮
