We were riding on the bike trail and decided to stop here for dinner. Very nice views, there is some outdoor seating with even better views. We got seated immediately. The food was delicious, but our server was quite flat. Overall good experience! I got the lobster ravioli with salmon special, very delicious. The garlic bread was $8 and not that special, I wouldn’t get it again.

If you watch the video carefully, you’ll notice a cute sea lion lying on the ocean’s surface. It raises its front flippers as if it’s eating a fish—or maybe washing its face. Sometimes it dives underwater, only to reappear moments later. Out on the corridor by the window, a little bird has made its home inside a lampshade. There’s a warm little nest inside—what could it be doing in there? The restaurant itself is clean and tidy, and the staff are friendly and attentive. From the window seats, you get a breathtaking view of the sea. Sailboats sparkle like stars scattered across the water, and seabirds swoop across the waves—diving for fish, soaring into the sky, or darting past the window in a flash. The ocean waves roll in gently, and the beach is soft and inviting. With good food, relaxing music, and this incredible view, it was truly a beautiful and memorable dining experience.

The food was awesome, served fast and hot, all the staff were very friendly, the restaurant was roomy and lots of windows for viewing and sunlight, and close to the aquarium! Their clam chowder bowl was awesome and must have for anyone visiting! Best of all I’ll repeat that the prices are very reasonable for the food portion and flavor!

The food was so good. Order their award winning clam chowder and I can say as a connoisseur of clam chowder, it was delicious. Thick and creamy, a decent amount of ham however, because i make clam chowder at home with extra clams, it could have used more clams. But for a restaurant, it had a fair amount of clams. The Pizza was good. Crispy and could fold in half with no flop. I prefer a sourdough type crust but this pizza was better than most other non pizzeria pizza places. You could tell they used real mozzarella because the cheese pull was notable. The fishermans platter was also delicious. The outter coating of all the items was light, not heavy and very crisp. The COD was AMAZING!it was moist, flakey, the batter was overwhelming. It was just so good and hit the spot. The tarter sauce was good. And the cocktail sauce was also good. I prefer my coctail sauce a bit more spicy, but thiers was just fine. I seriously cant find anything bad to say except i should have waited to eat and shopped some more because i was given a 10% discount for the restaurant at one of the local stores. Oh well, ill be back and since they dont expire, ill be bringing my family back here again.

Old school charm, good food and great views. A family friendly spot overlooking the bay and a beach below. Big menu and many daily specials should satisfy picky eaters. Outdoor seating give great views. Many pasta, pizza and fish options. Had the rock cod fish tacos which were ample and fresh. Large portions. The CA beer sampler is a fun choice.

Beach and ocean views while being dog friendly? Sign us up! Located in the Cannery Row area of Monterey, Louie Linguini's has pretty tasty food and options for those who love the beach but maybe aren't into seafood. The area it’s in is beautiful, mostly by virtue of being right off the ocean, but also by the open plaza located just outside of it. Parking may be a big struggle in this area so plan ahead for that. They were able to accommodate our large party as walkins which was awesome, that’s also not to say it wasn’t busy because it was, they just had ample seating. We were seated on the outside wrap around porch so we were able to see a bit of the ocean while we ate. The menu is pretty diverse with solid appetizers and food options. On top of accommodating our dog they also have a dog menu so your dog can grab a bite with you and everyone else, another big plus (to all our fellow dog owners at least). The service was great, they were very on top of everything from drinks, to ordering, to making sure our dog got water and a mat so it didn’t splash everywhere. For food we ordered the garlic bread, chicken fettuccine alfredo, fish and chips, and a medley for our dog. All the food came out pretty quick and hot with decent portion sizes. Starting with the garlic bread, it was great. Crunchy, salty, cheesy; a hit. The fettuccine alfredo was rich and creamy, not overly cheesy or thick from the sauce. The chicken was also good, not overpowering and mixed in very well with the rest of the meal. The fish and chips were good, but not as good as expected. The breading and fish were very light, meaning it kept falling apart every time we went for a bite, although the fries it came with were very good, crispy and light. Lastly, the dog meal was a hit. It comes as chicken placed in a bowl with wild rice and carrots and our dog vacuumed it up in just a few minutes. We went in very hungry and came out full and happy with our meal and the view. The final verdict on Louie Linguini's is that it’s a great restaurant. Very accessible and well located among other things to do. The ability to have a diverse menu in a cannery where seafood is the baseline makes it a fantastic option for those who don’t like fish but still want to eat in the area. We would definitely be back if in the area.

Today, we decided to treat ourselves to lunch, and what a delightful choice it was! Our table had a stunning view that made the experience even more enjoyable. Kim, our server, was a breath of fresh air—so friendly and attentive! I couldn't resist ordering the Shrimp Aurora, which was simply divine. My granddaughters opted for a trio of delicious options: garlic fries, a Caesar salad, and heavenly garlic bread. Each bite was a delight, and together, we created a wonderful memory over a fantastic meal. What a lovely way to spend the day!

You can get a seat to overlook the water. The personal pizza was big enough for 2 and very good. The mixed green salad was also very good with a nice blend if toppings. Service excellent

I have a variety of thoughts about Louie Linguini’s. Let’s start with the location and atmosphere. It’s situated in the perfect spot to overlook the water and cannery area. They have mostly indoor seating and a tiny bit of outdoor seating when you first walk up the stairs on the deck. It’s very shady here but it’s OK. You may wanna bring a long sleeve on a breezy day. The food is average at best. Most of the folks in my party had fish and chips and fried calamari. But we also tried the Alfredo linguine and seafood linguine. The fish and chips were not what I expected from this area. Just not super high-quality or special in any particular way. Lots of small pieces as opposed to a few large pieces. I question that. The seafood linguine on the other hand was quite good. And the calamari was basic calamari, I don’t think fresh. What is cool, is that they have a dog menu. So that’s nice since many of the visitors, including us, have dogs. Service was pretty spotty I’d say. I think it’s because you’re outside and they just don’t go out there as much.

Nice views! Came around 6:30 PM and was seated in around 20 minutes. The servers were polite and accommodating, but on the slower end in fulfilling requests. For over $30, the Seafood Fettuccine tasted plain and was small in portion. Definitely aimed for tourists 🍝🦐🐟⚓

Food wasn’t too bad, my friend enjoyed his seafood linguine and the fried shrimp. However, the clam chowder was a bit too starchy and thick and while I thought the pizza wasn’t bad my friend did not like it that much. The pizza was thin crust and to me was quite tasty.
