One of our go to places for a good meal at a reasonable price. The chicken is always well prepared and the vegetables and produce is always fresh. The level of service when dining in has also improved lately and adds to the overall value of the place.

Was given excellent customer service! We had a wonderful experience at this location and our food was very good! We tried another el Pollo Loco on the other side of town and we left bc we were treated terribly and the workers were so rude to us even though we were all smiles and tried to be kind.. at least I thought we showed nothing but kindness and respect to both men we interacted with but maybe not apparently. I ordered lunch today for a work lunch. It was for 12:30. I arrived early and they were very professional and put my order together. I was ok waiting. No attitude, no rudeness. I wish I got the guys name who helped me. He made sure I had everything, including plates and utensils. Even offered to take it to my car. Great service.

My family and I don't usually eat from El Pollo Loco but we had a great time at this location, the staff is very friendly and our food was ready very quickly. We specifically had great service from an employee named Josselyn, who was attentive and seemed happy to be there which made the atmosphere great and our overall experience one of the best! It's so sad that El Pollo Loco stopped giving lemon out! We went through the drive-thru and placed our order specifically requested salsa and cilantro to be added to our order. The cashier stated it was in the bag! Unfortunately, no sauces were there, drove all the way home... too far to go back. It was not such a good visit this time.

Love their food. Quick service. Tacos and Tostadas are very delicious. They have a new lunch box that is super great and great price. Employees are helpful and friendly. The chicken smelled a bit strange, I was afraid to eat it so I tossed the chicken. Not sure what that unusual smell was.

This place I great!! Me and my family went this afternoon after the service was quick and great we were in and out of the store in less than 5 minutes. The food was also great, I would recommend the double chicken tostada especially with two creamy cilantro dressings.

Employees - The employees here at El Pollo Loco on 47th Street have always been very kind-hearted no matter the day and consistently put their all into their shifts. They all work well as a team, delivering fast and excellent service. 5/5 Food - There is something about the food at this Pollo Loco that others don’t have (not that the other restaurants are bad, but I prefer this one). There is much more flavor and care put into making the food here. My favorite food here is the quesadillas alongside the chicken, of course. It’s refreshing to try good chicken from here, which you don’t get from most other chicken fast-food restaurants. The churros are also delicious! 5/5 Atmosphere - This restaurant is spotless and maintained very well. The bathrooms are clean (which is relieving after seeing how bad other fast-food restaurants bathrooms can get), the windows are all clean, and the tables are always clean, so whenever you sit down, you don't have to wipe any food or crumbs off the table before you eat. 5/5 This is an overall fantastic restaurant! I admire the manager, Juana, who does a great job managing the El Pollo Loco on 47th Street.

Always a very long line at the drive thru. Be prepared to wait at least 20 mins. Great food. Service is good most days. I've had a girl recently at the drive thru pick up window with a bit of a rushed attitude. She also ignored me and shut the window when I asked for salsa and serrano chiles.

Please stop watering down the cilantro dressing. The taste is bland. Best dressing ever, delicious the original way. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Everything else is is great.

Missing items that were ordered. Only provided one cilantro lime dressing for 3 salads. No cutlery. No napkins. Portions now seem to be cut back. Were not very pleased with this visit.

The dining room isn't in the greatest shape, and the staff is TERRIBLE about cleaning. The tables are always dirty, and in the hour I was there no one wiped down any tables as people came and went. The food is usually good, but don't bother dining in.

This used to be a great restaurant but they started skimming the food to make more money. The chickens they serve are the smallest they can find, the side orders come in smaller containers now, Salsa cups are so small that you end up using more cups than the salsas worth. I ordered 12 piece mixed that is 1 1/2 chicken when I looked in the store I saw 3 breasts on the top and did not look closely. When I got home started eating we realized we had 5 drumsticks and 4 thighs no wings. I did not want to drive back it is 3-4 miles away. The food is still good but they still try to make money out of anything they have. Now I have second thoughts before going there.

The family meals are pretty good(basic, chicken, sides, salsa, tortillas, plates/utensils) other than that the menu changes as far as specialty or seasonal items, but those items are okay to not very memorable. Usually a little over stuffed with fillers( rice,beans) and not enough meat, that's why they are usually okay. Good spot though if ur in hurry and have several mouths to feed.(family meal) About $35 to feed a family of 5, service is usually good and staff is pretty friendly.

I usually do not leave reviews but today was the third time I went drive thru and half my order was missing. Didn’t realize until I got home. First time they didn’t give me my churros or guacamole. Second time they left out chicken tacos, and third time they didn’t give us our chopped chicken, 1 taco and 1 drink… Very inconvenient…

Handed me the bag through the window. They said thank you and closed it. I drove 50ft to the parking lot and checked the bag because I have had them forget items in the past. Half my order was missing. I walk in and let them know at the counter. The girl reveals that she realized she forgot to give me the rest of my order but assumed I wouldn't come back for it. So she throws it away. I must have parked and walked into the restaurant in less than 2min. I had to wait for them to make it again. I realize that this place gets busy but this stuff happens way to often.

Okay, this place is a hit and miss. Sometimes they get my order correct, but most times they don't. The line is always ridiculously long and they take a while, so be ready to be in the drive through line for at least 30 minutes. If you think, "I'll just go inside," good luck you still gonna wait a while. They constantly forget the sauces, napkins and tortillas. So I only go to this specific establishment if I'm in the area or don't feel like going further into town to a different Pollo Loco.

TLDR: if you go here go through the drive thru and just wait even if it’s long because it will be FAR shorter. Great location if you’re going through the drive through. Ordering inside or doing curbside on the other hand is a whole new ball game. They have two curbside spots that always have two people parked in them with no one in the car and if you’re not in one of the spot they will just leave your food inside for you to come get. If you go Inside to get it you will then have to wait from my experience at least 10 minutes before being able to ask for it and then you get your food which has been sitting on a small table getting cold while you were waiting.

Ugh with this location. Either they forget something, or it’s cold or they are out of it. they take a ridiculous amount of time to take your order. No joke we waited 30 minutes to get our food. In a drive thru with 3 people ahead of us. Just don’t bother.

Not good, Chicken was under cooked, raw in the inside, had to take it back. Tables were not clean and took a long time to take my order as they seemed to be very backed up, some people that were in line left.

Had a very young man working on drive-thru and was not well trained on the food menu he takes, I ask if they sell crunch tacos, he said no we don't, I said it's on advertising email. He still insisted they don't, I ask the manager, was told they do serve crunchy tacos. Got my burritos but were made too small for almost 9$. I do not recommend coming to this location for pollo Loco.

Management here is not the best. I've left multiple "reviews" and nothing gets done. Workers are very slow, untrained, and the set up is just awful. Very small area, to order, to wait, and its just not worth it. I'd rather drive to another PL restaurant.

The food in here is good the problem is every time you go there they have the dining area closed. You can never enjoy a dining experience there it seems like. Even though I'm fully vaccinated and the rules have toned down on covid they still lock their dining room doors which is a pain for me as I like to eat inside instead of in my car.

Double chicken tostada was what I ordered, the chicken is really dry and the advertisement shows 3/4 slices of avocado but it only had one slice just like last time. False advertisement is what is going on here. Customer service is as normal, needs training. I hate that there is not a third el pollo loco but they would probably still suck.

Not sure if I came on the wrong day but none of the female employees seemed willing to help me and kept directing me to the kiosk. Keep in mind the machines don’t accept physical coupons and often fail to scan them correctly. The lady at the front gave me attitude and I had to ask her to please do her job and assist me with my order. It wasn’t until a young gentleman stepped in that I finally received help. Seriously, do they not want to do their jobs? To make matters worse, the chicken I was given wasn’t fully cooked so I had to return it. When it was finally ready, they didn’t even call my number and I had to approach them again to ask for my food. Save yourself the time and frustration and visit another location or restaurant since there are plenty of better options in the area.

She simply waved me off and walked away! Got my order wrong and just because I happen to walk in the place after I ordered from the drive thru that they told me and they lied to me about the Serrano's being in my bag already, and then when I asked for a bag to get my Serrano's the girl threw the bag at me instead handing it to me. I have been to this restaurant twice now and I'll say I'll never come to this one again. The service both times have been horrible. Today I went to the drive thru and while I was ordering the lady kept asking me is "that all?" after I was just trying to order a meal. Then at the window she didn't greet me she just handed me the soda and put her hand out for the money. She quickly gave me my change while holding the bag of food literally outside my car door. Then she just closes the window and walks away. It took her about 3 minutes to come back to the window because some of my order was missing! She didn't even apologize she went to get my missing order and hands to me and walks away. Both times I haven't been rude and both times they seem to have a major attitude problem. Even my kids 9 and 4 asked me what was wrong do with that girl. Horrible customer service.

My friend and I went to the drive-through yesterday at 10:30 and they were pretending to be closed. They already set the automated voice to say they were closed. When we went up to the window to ask why the thing said it was closed when the hours say open until 11 the person just ignored that but at least asked us what we wanted. We went to get it because the other day we tried it for the first time and it was so great. We also couldn't order fries because they already cleaned the fryers (which I mean I guess. Idk). They treated us like we showed up 5 minutes before closing which we purposefully didn't do. They also never answered their phone when we called earlier at 7:40 or when we called later at 10. Just not cool man.

I always cheer for hard working employees and I am no Karen. I give places a lot of chances. We have gotten our orders wrong many times, having to wait longer and even having to wait in the car. Now, we ordered through Uber Eats. The soda was flat, flavorless, the chips and salsa for the meals were missing. We got the wrong side orders. I'm sorry, this is the management responsibility. This store has only 2 stars on Yelp. It could be just our luck. However, the universe is telling us to stop ordering from this store. We should mention that we never get our orders wrong at the Pollo Loco on Palmdale Blvd.

Food is food BUT ordering online is longer then coming drive thru or ordering in the lobby. Each time I come i pick the furthest car from drive thru and still they beat me. I see people ordering at the counter and still beat me. Why order online and wait 20 min then come to pick up your food and then wait 20-30 min more.

Woow they busy and get mad at customers asking for their orders, this lady in the picture is so mean. Change that bad attitude please, I know you guys are busy , but that's not the way to treat your customers

Says it's open at 930am, I'm on my lunch it's 947am and it's still closed. There's people in there but not letting customers in.

It was awful, we drove up to a line in the drive thru. We waited over 15 minutes before I called inside and asked, what was going on. I was told the people that were at the speaker was still ordering. So we continued to wait. Then an employee came out and said they close at 7:00. I told him we have been waiting for over 15 minutes. So we were here before 6:45, and they need to take our order and I was told, sorry but that is not going to happen. He continued to tell me that they have to be out of the building by 7:30 and there are signs at the front of the store that state that. I told him that we are in the drive thru so how were we supposed to see a sign that is in the front of the store. He still refused to take our order. There were 4 cars in line that they refused to serve. To wait over 20 minutes and be turned away was absolutely ridiculous. I asked for the name of the manager and he said he was the manager. I said I wanted his manager information and he told me he would not give that to me. I then asked for the corporate number and again he said no. I asked for his name, he said Jorge. So I guess I'll be getting corps number on my own.. Thank so much Jorge! Worst customer service.

Workers can never tell the difference between red salsa and pico de gallo, two very different things. I always ask for red salsa, even tell them the spicy one so they don’t get confused but still hands me pico de gallo

9:45 am at the restaurant doors are locked for dinning room. The hours posted are 9:30 am - 10:00 pm. The employees see myself out side and don't open the door for dine-in. They say till 10am So im leaving going to Tom's diner. No business for el pollo loco now.

Is it mandatory to have a small small portion of chicken on the bowls ? I got an avocado bowl and the chicken amount was definitely not right compared to the actual plate it’ seems ridiculous for the amount it is .

This place was filthy. The floor was gross. The cook was stocking the restroom with toilet paper. Their soda machine had nice and the soda was very warm.

Didn't get my corn tortillas, we got two salads and one dressing. That's the second time this has happened. The chicken tastes like bad grocery store rotisserie chicken. It's sad cause we used to love this el pollo loco.

Got crunchy tacos and the chips and queso just last week and it was great. Today i got the same and it was AWFUL!! Bones in my chicken tacos and the queso was watery and disgusting. I couldn't eat it. Waste of money. Very overpriced. Im pretty disappointed.

Don’t order the rice at This location It was horrible. They must have mixed the leftover old rice with new one Lots of old tough rice. Pretty gross.
