Pretty good for seafood. Gotta pick and peel the crustaceans to get at it, but some are already cut for you like the lobster tail. Pretty good spices and tastes. For dessert, I had the chocolate lava cake. This was my first one, and it was really delicious. I would eat here with friends next time.
Great atmosphere, service and fresh food ….. will definitely come back to have a great time and enjoy my food … thank you team and Lacey you guys did amazing….100 percent deserved this review. Definitely recommend it to everyone.
I recently took someone to lunch at the Palmdale location across from Reb Lobster. For appetizers, we had 2 orders of the popcorn shrimp...delicious!Enough for two people to enjoy before your meal. They were crispy, not greasy and practically melted in your mouth. I also had the 1/2 lb shrimp boil which includes several pieces of shrimp in a mild garlic sauce (Yummm) with 1 potato and 1/2 ear of corn and they did not disappoint. Very tasty. I will definitely revisit. I never knew this place existed but I am sure glad I know about it now.
Alvin and Joesph were great :) very nice! 10/10 service! food was great and the drinks were deliciously made.
Really good food , family friendly and good customer service!
The best boiling seafood in the entire antelope valley 😋. The service is fantastic. The food is fresh and well prepared. The entire menu is delicious and at a great price.
We ate at Pier 88 in Avondale, AZ, twice and were thrilled to find one in Palmdale, CA. Every bit as good. Our waitress was wonderful. She got everything we asked for and quickly too. We took a friend who had never been to a boil, and she loved it. I'll be checking the website locations as we travel.
Great food, great service. We all had the country boil. Every item in the bag was delicious, and eating out of the bag was fun. My only criticism is thar when you are there it seems like the restaurant build out is not completed yet. No alcohol as of yet. I believe that will be important to stay in business, especially for where it is located.
Pier88 Restaurant Pizzeria & Bar in Palmdale was soooooo good!!! We love shrimp boil and theirs was off the charts excellent. It was portioned perfect for us to share 3/4lb and an appetizer. If you like to share with your love bug, I highly recommend y’all check it out. It was decent prices and lower than normal seafood spots but much much tastier!! Definitely a 5 star win for us!! We will be back!!!!
It was a very good my first time and the atmosphere was like family oriented, the customer service was excellent and very friendly, the bar drinks were great nice and refreshing, just beautiful.
Food very good, waitress very polite and professional .. she was checking on us every 10 minutes to see if we needed something else. Nice environment too In general everything was great
Good food, decent prices and we've been lucky with good customer service. We get a bag of shrimp with no head and it comes with a potato and corn. You can add hard boil eggs, extra corn or potatoes to your bag for a fee. It is so good, I no longer have to go to Kickin' K'Asian in the valley.
Great food! Amazing decor! Had the Two way shrimp, it was so good!
The food is good, but for some reason the seasoning didnt get absorbed by the crawfish. The service was fast. However the restaurant was empty which made me really sad. I think more people should come eat here.
My favorite seafood spot me and mom dine here or order to go all the time! Love the prices and always fresh food. Crab n spice lost me with their mushy shrimp. Happy pier 88 came to the Av.
I'm 61 years old and had never had seafood boil. I'm addicted now ! We tried the other, similar restaurants in the area, but this has been our favorite. The food is so delicious.
This place was great took my baby girl and as long as she enjoyed my heart is full .
5 stars. Anything less would be an insult. Me and my girl were told we were going to wait an hour and a half. This is on Valentines Day, by the way, with no reservation. We decided to stay, as we expected everywhere else to be similar. We got seated in 30-45 minutes. Definitely beats 90. They were absolutely packed, and even so, the food quality was downright fantastic. My food was very hot upon arrival, along with my girls. Everything was seasoned well and amazing to eat. We also ordered an appetizer of Mozzarella sticks, which the cheese LITERALLY stretched across the table. It doesn't get much better than that. The server, whilst being a bit uninformed on crab breaking utensils, managed to chock it up using humor, which was worth more to me, in my opinion. I prefer my hosts/ hostesses to act like people over robots, so humor was very much welcomed. The drinks were also a bit slow, but given how busy they were, they came out in a timely manner and were delicious. They are a bit on the strong side, but I'm never one to complain about stronger drinks. Quite the contrary, I prefer them. This is my 2nd time experiencing the culinary wonderment that is Pier 88, and I can promise you one thing, I will DEFINITELY be returning again.
The food was incredibly delicious and came out hot and fresh. The service was fast and friendly with cozy vibes
We are from Charleston SC, and home to the famous low-country boil. We had high expectations and Pier88 did not disappoint. We have added black mussels and extra shrimp to each bag and it is even better. I’m not sure why they put a hard boiled egg in the bag as I think they could do without this but overall, it is worth the money you spend. Atmosphere is amazing. Servers are friendly. Try the chocolate lava cake for desert. It’s delicious 😁
The food was great, and I'm looking forward to going back. Our server was also great she was on top of our needs. I will tell others about pier 88
Pioni is such a great server. I request her every time I go :) Love this place. Food is always hot and delicious, specifically talking about the seafood boils, of course. <3 would recommend
Ate everything before I could even bother trying to take any photos. Everything was piping hot and fresh out the kitchen. Service was fast and friendly. Your entire party has to be present before you can be seated, that wasn't an issue. The only improvement they could make is minor since the available drinks aren't on the menu, the waitress did tell us what they were though, so not a big deal. I'll definitely be back.
Great place to go and eat! The food is delicious, tried their 88 special craw fish. The service was also great with a nice atmosphere. Definitely a to go dine in type of place. Only thing that I found inconvenient was their mandatory 18% tip on parties of six and up including small children. I have a family of six with 3 toddlers and fee was imposed. Toddlers should not be included as part of the group. Anyways, other than that, everything was great.. Still 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Atmosphere: This place gives me long john Silver feels. I understand that it is a seafood restaurant. I believe if you name it anything pier, you need to have a more upscale vibe. Though for the price of the food, I'm not bothered. Service: It was good, helpful, knowledgeable of the menu and it specials. Was able to give short cuts to the menu to make sure we got what we wanted at the same if not lesser price. Food: I saved the best for last. Food is phenomenal. Well, the food I had, I don't eat seafood. I usually don't eat at place like this because of this fact but I was with other people who wanted to go. So I ordered the chicken tenders, but check this out. I got corn, eggs, and sausage in a boil sauce in a separate bag (make sure you get the Pier 88 medium sauce...💣). What I did was put the tenders, which were not small into the bag with the corn, egg, and sausage, and what I got A CHICKEN BOIL!!!!!. it is really good and going back real soon. My wife and I went two nights in a row.....don't judge us....lol Happy eating!
On par, if not better than Boiling Crab and other popular seafood restaurants. Service is always good.
Alvin and Joseph were the best waiters we had in months if you guys ever go to Pier 88 request them!! good vibes laughs , great food, and (great drinks)
Alvin was the most amazing server I have ever met. I have never had such amazing service This restaurant has the most amazing people from start to finish. Thank you so much.
Went for dinner service and staff was very friendly. Went around 7pm and it was pretty busy and lively but the wait time was not too long. They took our name and phone number and gave us a call when our table was ready. Service was excellent and attentive and food was good.
I love eating here with the wife and kids. Can't say I've had 1 bad experience, knock on wood.
Food was good. Everything came inside a boil bag. They give you plenty of gloves and napkins and wet naps along with a bib to keep your clothing clean. Very good food. Recommend to lower spice level than you are used to as the boil increases the spicy
Went here for my son's birthday because none of us have had a seafood boil or crawfish before and it was SO good. We had leftovers for days and I'm planning on going back soon because I dream of that incredible sauce. Really great vibe, the server was fantastic. As a former server I typically don't really enjoy eating out at restaurants because usually it makes me feel uncomfortable but the atmosphere here was so warm and welcoming and it really was a great experience. I don't remember the name of our server, but shout out to the guy who closed down the bar section on April 27th, we were the party of 3 who had no idea what to order. I hope the restaurant reads these reviews because that server is a complete gem and deserves recognition for how great of an employee he is for your business. He was super friendly, very helpful, gave great recommendations, and represented your company well.
This place was the thr bees knees! Absolutely on point
Went during weekday lunch. Very quiet, food was great. Ordered the seafood boil with Garlic butter and was perfectly steamed, also got the cajun on the side. Fries were phenomenal.
If you love Seafood Boil and never been here before, this will be your favorite to go spot for your Seafood cravings. My family and I have been here several times, and the wait time is not long, on occasions it can get really busy, but its worth the wait. (Thank me later) Great lighting, lots of seating tables to accommodate large groups. Has a full bar dine in section with several TV to enjoy and watch a game. They will serve your seafood boil in a plastic bag, but you can ask for a plate. 88 special is always the way to go and your choice of spice temperature. This restaurant has NEVER disappointed us. Our family and I love coming here. They have a very friendly staff . Great Service.
I took my daughter and her friends to celebrate her birthday yesterday. The man working the front desk who took us to our seat wasn’t very inviting, no smile, no interaction, just stone faced… But luckily I didn’t let that ruin our experience because we had the BEST waiter. He was extremely kind, helpful, and amazing. I wish I could remember his name to give him his props, but unfortunately I can’t. The food was great, the experience was great, and the service overall was great. They have some really decent menu price options too.
This was pretty delicious and fresh definitely a bang for ur buck. The potatoes, shrimp, corn and sauce was definitely a win. Place is pretty cool they got sharks hanging on roof and other sea stuff it’s very well decorated and very spacious and welcoming. Service was good they got my order right and everything was perfect will definitely keep coming back.
This place is wonderful!! Me and my bf came here for the first time and we had no idea what/ how to order but Steven our server was very insightful and kind giving us recommendations. We got the famous low country boil with the 88 special seasoning and medium spice level 🦀🦐🌶️ it was the perfect combo 😍 we throughly enjoyed everything and will be coming back 🥰
I ordered a pick up order so I can't really say much about the atmosphere or the service but for sure I will real soon. I will continue to try to keep the people informed on service and the food. So I ordered the head on shrimp which came with 2 corns, wish I could have chosen both. Unfortunately being able to choose which is limited, meaning the choice is one item and it can't be combined. It is one specific type whether it be eggs, potatoes or corn. The salt content is really high. A person with high blood pressure or older clients, may need to take some precautions when eating here because of the high salt content. Also the sauce is really thin with no consistency, needs to be thicker to stick to the food more. When I walked in I was greeted, and it was popping meaning it was live and alot of people were waiting to be seated. I am and have been to more than 10 shrimp places. Boiling crab is still the best in the nation. So on 3/10, I went again to try it out and it wasn't as salty this day. I actually really really enjoyed it better this time. Looking forward to going again, and sitting down to eat this time.
The family went for my stepdaughter's 17th birthday. All the staff were super polite and attentive, and even per my request, brought the birthday girl a complimentary birthday desert and sung happy birthday 🥰. 10 outtta 10! The food was delicious 😋 and the prices were reasonable. Will definitely be back!

Alvin was an excellent server! Very attentive and helpful in choosing the food too. The food was absolutely delicious! The flavors are so great it keeps us choosing Pier 88! We will definitely be back! Again and again.

Our server Joesph recommended us an amazing dish!! First time here and will come back again.
DELICIOUS!! Enjoyed their Famous Low Country boil and an order of popcorn shrimp 🍤 Everything was superb 👌 Will definitely be coming back! 😋
I really enjoyed the variety of how you can make your boil bag exactly how you want. The shrimp are good size, the clams are very tasty, the snow crab fresh as well. The staff is friendly and will explain any items on the menu. The difference in the types of clams was explained and we made out choice. The add in spices and heat level is awesome as you can dial it in to your exact liking. I've been to a few other restaurants like Pier 88, and have had to pay a lot higher prices for a lower quality meal, I'm very happy to have Pier 88 close to me. I really enjoy Pier 88, and highly recommend visiting them.
I actually got food to go… and let me Tell yall this places is really good from the lobster tail to the sausage, potatoes, corn, snow crab, chicken wings, hush puppies, king crab and shrimp. Mild sauce pier 88 seasoning. The best!! Not to mention they got an A in the window… all that food cost 280.00 to that is reasonably priced.
Came here for lunch yesterday and food was excellent. Reasonable pricing for seafood, especially the 1lb. shrimp. Service was good, and they had good music. Drinks were strong, but I prefer that over a weak drink. Highly Recommend.
Crab boils were my biggest pregnancy craving and Pier 88 never disappointed with amazing food and attentive, wonderful staff. I usually get medium spicy Cajun seasoned, but I went with extra hot my last visit hoping to test if spicy things will put you into labor. 6 hours later I was in early labor and 24 hours after that I was holding my son. Could be a coincidence but I will swear by the crab for the rest of my life.
It was our first time at Pier 88 and Alvin made our dinner experience really great. He was funny and very helpful without being overly intrusive. Our birthday boy didn’t want the attention of the public singing so Alvin privately gave him the cake. Oh and the food was on point!

Food was very good. Seems pricey but they give you a lot of food. 2 people can share a boil bag. only bad thing is as of 12/2022 they still don't have their liquor license so no beer with the food just soda. Staff is super friendly. and if you order the chicken tenders they do have a fish taste to it. SO FYI
Service is not good take long time to get your order i order appetizer and they bring the food with the appetizer like what I want my appetizer FIRST RIGHT!
Fried catfish was not the best. But the seafood boil bags were delicious. The service was just okay. There was only one waitress in the area with the bar, and she had to make drinks as well. Someone else brought the food out, so it was served hot. But the follow-up was non-existent. Hire some people!! Your food is not cheap! The service should be better.
1st time trying the restaurant, Flavorful food, our waiter was amazing. However, the service Vivian provided was terrible. Even customers seated across the restaurant noticed her attitude. I spoke with the manager on duty, Vivian interjected and said I didn't have an attitude, downright horrible on Vivian's part.
Came in earlier today for late lunch, ordered the classic country broil which was nice, 1/2 pound of each; shrimp, snow crab & sausage all for $35 which is probably the best valued item on the menu. The service does seem a bit disorganized and at times slow, but not enough to call it bad service. Food was pretty good, flavor was nice and everything tasted good, as to the reviews of upset stomachs I experienced nothing of the nature. I think once they have some solid systems in place and are better organized they would be worthy of that 5th star.
The food and drinks well but the disappointed service forgot to score a dish and in the end 18% forced tip for bad service.
I loveeeee this place 10/10 & the food never fails to be delicious !! Recently, I will say that I did ask for extra sauce and it was 4$ for this small container that wasn’t even half full. That is a rip off! Other than that, the food is very good.
My husband and I went for a double date and truly enjoyed it. We ordered some popcorn shrimp which was crunchy and savory, oysters and the famous low country boil. You get to choose the spice level and seasoning option and they have a variety of food options too. Definitely recommend. If you do go, prepare to get messy by eating with gloves and adult bibs
Visited and had a early dinner and a beverage. The food was good and filling. Had the Schrimp basket with fries. The meal was good and hit the spot. Our server was very attentative and friendly. The atmosphere was low keyed during the visit, just people coming in to Crack crabs and have interactions with their table. I recommend Pier 88 for a good meal, I had mine and filled me up and I was happy

Visit #1: ordered the 1lb head-on shrimp meal, side of white rice, hush puppies and Coca Cola drink. Sauce: 88 Special, hot. The sauce is surprisingly decent. White rice was a little hard. Food was fair to good. Visit #2: ordered the 1/2 lb head-off shrimp, 1/2 lb sausage and crab legs meal with 88 special, hot. Added the 1lb head-on shrimp meal. Received the order and asked the waiter if the 1lb head-on shrimp was in the bag, he said yes. We counted the shrimp in the bag and learned that the add on shrimp was not included. We informed the waiter in which he apologized and brought out the shrimp 5-10 minutes later. The sauce this time was very buttery and the other spices were near non-existent. My recommendation: order the head-on shrimp with the 88 special, hot but ask for no butter in the sauce.
I liked it could it be better, yes, The sauce was watery crab legs looked like they were on a diet I had the extra hot garlic butter but they forgot the garlic also the poor boy had no sauce shrimp lettuce, and tomatoes not a drop of sauce, The bar is open the bar opens after 12:00 food and service was good!
The food is great here. The service is lacking sad to say. Feels like you better get it yourself or keep asking for it. I would recommend the place down the street rolling crab.
Ordered to go for a certain time for dinner in the morning. Order was not ready on time. Wait was very long. Some orders looked exactly the same couldn't tell whose meal belong to who because it wasn't labeled. Shrimp wasn't clean.
has no taste. even if the sauce for the shrimp garlic sauce or lemon sauce. I don't eat potatoes or corn but my food was included with the corn and potatoes that's why my half of pound of my shrimp was like 8 pieces they should have ask me if I want corn or potatoes the cook/chef should check or taste their sauces before serve it to their customers- BOILING CRAB has more taste than this place-
The food was light and nice. The smoked peach cocktail was a little medicinal and clubby. The hush puppies and fries were very nice. The oyster had an Asian flavor that was slightly fishy. We got a garlic shrimp boil that had an over powering Indian currie cummin flavor that was not very off putting. I expected and Cajun or Old Bay flavor but got Indian food.
No kids menu so be ready to order full size portions if you have little ones
The famous low country boil definitely had less than half a pound of shrimp and sausage. Lemon pepper seasoning was not really there. It was mid.
Went to lunch with my mom today, she ordered the fish and chips simple and liked it. I ordered a bag with shrimp cooked oysters, and lobster, pier 88 sauce mild. Yes I have had this before here several times. The lobster *my favorite was WAY over cooked, dry, and impossible to remove from shell I tried several times. I HATE COMPLAINING. I asked for a new one. Jonathan, the most awesome server, took it back without any problem. Then, an older asian gentleman came out with the same lobster and proceeded to tell me it was not overcooked. That i it would fall out of the shell if it was overcooked. I am 55 years old and a lobster connoisseur. I PROCEEDED TO TELL HIM THAT I DIDN'T WANT IT then. IF HE WAS GOING TO HAVE ME keepTHE SAME LOBSTER, I RETURNED FOR BEING OVERCOOKED. He then, tells me I have to return the extra corn and extra potato that came with that lobster also. How petty. I did happily. Might I ad he made a big production of it at the table and then proceeded to LOUDLY toss it all in the trash. *Where it belonged. ~Thankful everything else was cooked very well.In the bag and I was happy to finish.I won't be returning and made this honest review. Sizzlers double lobster manager special is always a better deal for lobster. .If you don't feel like waiting for and paying for red lobster. In addition, the manager at sizzler is fantastically phenomenal.
The shrimp was good but the fries and onion rings were some of the worst I have ever had. The hush puppies were pretty dry but still enjoyable. The service was excellent so I would not be apposed to giving them another chance and order something else.
Good food but slightly overpriced especially for a small lobster and draft beer was $13 for a 20 Oz glass now that's price gouging. And they always calculate tip w the tax included which is not correct as that is not part of the service or food I only tip based on tab before taxes and usually only tip 15%

One would think when you paid $20 for a meal you would get a potato larger than your thumbnail. Service was okay, the food was okay but not worth the price. If I didn't get 1/2 of my daughter's meal I would still be hungry, can't imagine they will in business very long.
The waiter Mia was very rude, and had a very bad attitude and had the audacity to charge an 18 percent gratuity on our bill, then we were celebrating a birthday and she just set the cheesecake on the table and walked off never going back! Food was great though!
I was looking forward to enjoying all the amazing things we ordered, and it was a letdown. I've had seafood in many places, and I can tell you for certainty that I will not order here again. The food did not look appealing, and it did not taste great. It was very oily and had no taste. The sausage was terrible. They sliced it in very thin pieces and left the plastic on it. I didn't think you could mess up a sausage, and somehow, they did. Even the fried catfish, oysters, and shrimp were not good. Yeah, I was very disappointed. My anniversary meal was terrible.
Well decided to have dinner again at this place with my wife, the quality of food had drastically gone down. This the 3rd time that I order an extra order of corn and 2 pc seem to be bad already. And the shrimps come over cooked, and dry..very disappointed.
I Heard mixed opinions about this place so I decided to check it out for myself. Tonight, when I walked in the guy at the counter was just staring at us no greeting, and then the host smiled and told us that she can see us, which was really weird that he was not welcoming.I don’t know his name but he was tall and had blonde hair . When I got my food, it was barely any sauce and it was not necessarily good. I really didn’t enjoy the sausage at all. I don’t understand why it’s flat and tasteless. I got the pier 88 sauce. It was not good but my server offered great service he was the best part about my experience Will not be returning.
My first review and I have been a customer since they opened. Unsure if there's a new cook. However, in the last two visits, the sauce has been awful. I usually order the king crab legs and shrimp. They attempted to remake the sauce. But that sauce was over-seasoned. So they offered to remake the entire bag. Only to go home, and the food was still unbearable to eat. My daughter decided to place an order with them on the dash, and she had the same experience. But she threw hers in the trash. I contacted the store manager directly, but I personally don't think he was very helpful. Hopefully, you guys can get this together. Because I absolutely loved the food there before getting a new cook. The price we pay and our taste quality don't match up.
Firstly, how about washing and cleaning your crab legs before serving them to customers? There were still leeches on my crab legs, which completely ruined my appetite—I couldn’t even eat them. $32 for a single leech-filled crab claw, one potato, and one egg? That’s way too pricey. And to top it off, they charge an extra $2 for lemons on a takeout order. So, my bag was filled with leeching crab legs, one potato, and one egg without the overpriced lemon. Yeah, no thanks. Today was my first and last time here.
Should have read the reviews. Trying to crack the crab was like cracking a water hose. Broke it open by hand and it smelled like dead fish. Fortunately it wasn’t in the bag long enough to cross contaminate my shrimp and sausage. Waitress was extremely nice, passed her my bucket with uneaten crab. She said she would take it to kitchen for investigation. They must have convinced her that’s how crab smells by the way her attitude changed. Funny thing is I wasn’t asking for anything, just wanted them to be aware. Maybe an apology from management would have been nice. Paid my tab (still tipped waitress) and left to never return to any of their locations I encounter.
My wife and were very excited for Pier 88 to open up in our city, Palmdale, CA. The building had been vacant for quite some time, and now that a new restaurant has opened up, it provided us with a new venture. We waited about 25 minutes for a table, which was not bad at all given it has only been open for a few days. Once seated, we waited another 15 minutes to get our drinks. When the server came to take our order, we explained my wife has a severe dairy allergy (Butter, milk, whey, etc.). After taking the order (two signature boils and popcorn shrimp), she came back to explain the appetizer was a no-go which was fine with us. 20 minutes later, she came back again to tell us all the boils are pre-seasoned with butter in the morning and they were unable to accommodate us. Nothing. We ate nothing. We did not receive a formal apology from the manager. The only thing we could do was get up and walk up. It is unfortunate that a restaurant is unable to accommodate their patrons in such a way in the world we live in today. Please know, we have gone to other well-established seafood boil restaurants and have been accommodated without trouble.
This place needs to be shut down. Went there for lunch wife ordered oysters, they didn’t smell right but she still ate them. I got the catfish which wasn’t catfish at all , more like tilapia, fried catfish or catfish in general has a distinct texture and taste. This was not it. The fish was soggy and wet, I ate one piece and stopped my son took a bite and wouldn’t eat it. My wife and daughter got snow crab and shrimp. Within minutes of leaving we All started getting stomach aches and pains. We all feel nauseous and I have extreme heartburn. My stomach is in pain. And it cost $180 dollars for this….. Do not go here!!! Avoid you’ve been warned.
PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN, THIS PLACE IS A HEALTH HAZARD TO THE PUBLIC. I came here while visiting from out of state so it was my first experience and if I could give it zero stars I would. The food here not only doesn't look good it also doesn't taste good and it did take me to even get half way through my portion when I started to feel sick and within 2 hrs I was running to the bathroom. I don't usually write reviews but something seriously needs to change here.
Honestly I was going here weekly with my friend but lately I’ve noticed that the portions are super stingy. Like I ordered fries today and the tray looked half empty. Then they wanna charge $7 EXTRA for eggs and they only come with 3 eggs that are overcooked. Won’t be eating here again but the bartenders are really nice here. I always tip like 30-40% too so it’s a big let down that they’re so stingy with the food. Last time I was there I ordered over the phone and changed my mind and decided to dine in and the girl at the front desk was so rude about it and literally made me wait another 15 minutes because of this. (I saw our bag on the counter)
I rarely give poor review for food seeing I'm really easily pleased and don't mind waiting for good food. In this case, I can't tell you all about the food because I didn't get the chance to even eat. Hostess tells me and my husband 5 minute wait, we're waiting 20 minutes though plenty of available seating, then he confronts them n they claim no lunch special because it's New Year's which I think was a lie since they wanted us to leave. We went to our reg place instead n they honored the lunch special barely checked in before 3. That's WITH being packed!! After reading what my community has said about their food, looks like I really dodged a bad case of shellfish poisoning. Wonder what this location will be once they fail n leave town!
Pretty upsetting when you arrive anticipating a good seafood meal and are met with lazy, blasé workers. My wife and I wanted to try the lunch special (12:00-3:00)and we got there around 2:30. The hostess told us that the wait would only be five minutes even though I could see at least fifteen empty tables. 20 minutes went by and we started to worry that we would miss the lunch special. I asked the hostess if we could at least sit at a table and have a drink while we waited. She informed me that they only had two servers and that even if I had a table that I would not receive service..🤨 so ok yeah, I told them I was ready to be seated or I can just walk out now and go elsewhere. That got the wheels in motion, but as we were being walked to our table, we were informed that they would not honor the lunch special because it was New Years Day. I turned around and left. Thanks for wasting my time and making me not want to give you business before even tasting your food. I'll make sure I don't consider eating here in the future.👎 Bye bye
I took my 18 year old here for her b day. We ordered drinks and asked for a few min to decide what we all wanted. While my daughter was in the restroom I let the waitress know it was her b day and if they could acknowledge her b day. The waitress named Sandra said, she couldn’t cause she was short on staff but told me I could sing it myself. I thought that was crazy, I whispered to my other daughter, maybe this wasn’t the best place to celebrate, Sandra then said , you can leave if u like ! While holding our drinks. She refused to put our drinks down and said she needed to know if we were leaving first! I asked for a manager ( Vivian) she was the manger on duty! We waited over 15 min without drinks and guess what? Vivian never ever came out. Please do not eat here! That was the worst! We went to Yard house! The service at yard house was exceptional !
CHEATED ON OUR SERVING SIZE!!! We visited yesterday for Mother's Day and encountered a concerning issue regarding the portion size of the 2lbs of shrimp we ordered. After noticing that the actual weight was closer to 1.3lbs when considering the seasoning, potatoes, and corn in the bag. I brought this discrepancy to the attention of both my server and a manager. After expressing our disappointment, the manager/owner gave me more shrimp to make up the difference. But how long have you guys been doing this and what about the people who can’t eyeball 2lbs of shrimp? Additionally, we were surprised to learn that your pricing is based on the number of pieces rather than pounds, as indicated on the menu. In light of being loyal customers, we feel disheartened and taken advantage of in this situation. This place is waaaaay better than Crab N Spice but the owner needs to fix these unfair practices or the Better Business Bureau needs to get involved!!!
It was my first time eating here and let’s just say I ordered takeout. I ordered some fried oysters and french fries and a raspberry cheesecake. The cheesecake did not look like the photo that they advertise. The fries was drenched in oil like you could taste the oil more than you can taste the Fries then when I asked for a lemon on the side for my oysters, they told me that they couldn’t give it to me because it wasn’t added to my order well first of all I couldn’t add lemon to my takeout order because it didn’t give me the option. I will never ever eat here again. I’m better off going to the fish market and have them fry me some fried oysters and fresh fries that does not taste like a whole gallon of oil Now I’m dealing with a stomach ache
They took so long to bring our food and then had 3 orders wrong. Then they proceeded to ignore me talking about the inconvenience of us having to sit there for 2 hours before we could even eat.
Yesterday I had the worst experience by far. I think ill take a pause and not come back for some time. Maybe in 2027 but im good on the shitty service you guys have been providing yesterday. I left a tip but I really shouldn't have.
To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding an incident that occurred at your Palmdale location of Pier 88, involving your staff and management. On [08/31/2025, of incident], I was injured while visiting the restaurant due to a blocked walkway that should have been clear for customer access and safety. The obstruction directly caused me to get hurt. After the incident, I approached the manager, Devon, to notify him of what happened and express my concern about the unsafe conditions. I also spoke with another manager, Kim, as well as a waiter who witnessed or was aware of the situation. To my surprise and disappointment, Manager Devon responded with an extremely dismissive attitude, stating, “Oh well, that’s not my fault.” When I explained that the walkway should not have been blocked and that the injury could have been avoided if proper safety measures were in place, he again replied with indifference, saying “Oh well,” with no attempt to investigate, apologize, or offer assistance. This kind of response is unacceptable and shows a lack of care for customer safety and basic professionalism. As a customer who was hurt in your establishment due to what appears to be negligence, I expected at the very least a sincere concern and a willingness to address the issue. I am requesting the following: • A formal apology for the way the situation was handled by management • Confirmation that proper safety measures and employee training will be reviewed and implemented to prevent future incidents • Documentation of the incident for your records Please take this matter seriously. I am considering further steps if I do not receive a timely and appropriate response. Sincerely, Monique Date of 08/31/2025
Terrible experience, the sauce has no flavor and taste like water and butter. This place is good if you don’t like seasoning or flavor. Also the customer service was not good, I only got one drink with my whole meal and was thirsty the other half of my meal. I would much rather eat at Crab N Spice in Palmdale!
We have been here since the day this place opened and never had an issue until today. Lately their sauce has been watered down. Today we ordered door dash and got a bag full of water broth with little to no sauce at all. Very disappointing from this place that used to be our favorite spot. Now I dont think we will be back here again. We had crab n spice on Thursday and the sauce did not taste like water. It was full and flavorful at crab n spice.
The shrimp was boiled in spices. Sauce was too watery like soup. I ordered a paloma drink. Which is so easy to make. It taste really bad.. It was the worst drink I've ever had. Thats why on their menu they added no refunds or returns on alcoholic drinks.
