okay so this was my first time trying Houlihan’s and let me just say it will not be my last! the shrooms were amazing! we got the fried cauliflowers and they tasted like so good. we also got the impossible burger, it was okay felt like it was missing something it was avg honestly. I got the Tuscany chicken pasta and I didn’t like it at all. it supposed to have wine and lemon in them and all i could taste is the wine, not good at all. our waitress was kind enough to remove it from our receipt, she was amazing don’t remember her name but she deserved more than what we tipped her honestly. she was very attentive, patient and helped us choosing our orders.

My daughter took me out to lunch for my birthday. Not only did that make my day, but the food was fresh and the service was great. Jadiel, our waiter, was very kind and even put a candle on our dessert for my birthday. He said they don't sing happy birthday anymore, not that we asked for it, but he wanted to do something special. Had a good time. Ty 😊

Kim was amazing. She was attentive and greeted us with a warm smile and inquired how we’ve been. We come here often, after bowling on Wednesdays, mostly due to her. There are so many choices in this area, but we keep coming back because of her friendliness, great service and awesome mixed drinks!

Thank you Brian, your mannerisms and the service your provided was top notch . Your employer should know how valuable you are, your attentiveness and professionalism was 10’s across the board! This was my first time at this restaurant, the food and service was excellent, I will return. Worth the drive from Hudson valley!

1st time in a Houlihan's in many years. Food, service, ambiance surpassed my expectations. Server Bryan was great and made good recommendations. The manager even stopped by for a table check, which rarely happens anymore. We will be back soon!

This was my first time at Houlihan’s after coming straight from work, and Kim truly made my night so much better. She had such great energy from the start, was very attentive, and made sure everything was clean and taken care of quickly. Her service was fast, friendly, and welcoming, which made my first experience here a really positive one. Kim went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and enjoying myself, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for better service. Thank you, Kim, for turning a regular night into such a great one!

It’s been awhile I visited a Houlihans restaurant. I’m glad I came. My dining experience was great and Lavern our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable with the menu selection and paid very close attention to our needs. I will definitely come back and hopefully Lavern will be our server again.

John was our server tonight. He always provides excellent service. He was great, extremely polite and pleasant. Have never had a bad time when he is our waiter. Would recommend this restaurant, especially John who is excellent 😊

Stopped here after seeing a late movie...has a few of the appetizers plus entrees, everything hit the spot, and the price was reasonable for sure...great food (especially the thai wings) but it was even better service from the lovely and hilarious Giselle. I enjoyed everything, looking forward to coming back soon.

I had an amazing experience at Houlahan’s, and our server John T made it even better. He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional from start to finish. He took the time to make great recommendations, and I’m so glad I listened — the prime rib was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor (compliments to the chef, Nelly)! John also recommended the butter cake for dessert, and it was phenomenal — easily one of the best desserts I’ve had in a long time. He checked in at just the right moments, made sure everything was perfect, and created a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere without ever being intrusive. Exceptional service like John’s really makes a difference. I’ll definitely be coming back and hope to be seated in his section again. Highly recommend!

Our server was amazing! Treated us with respect, gave us great suggestions, and just overall an amazing person! Gave us our food super fast! She was great. Her name was Brielle! Highly recommend! The Lonestar Burger was great!

I go to this Houlihans every week and it never disappoints! They have the best burgers, French onion soup, and the steak quesadillas are usually my go-to. Everything is served quickly and delicious. Most importantly, the service is amazing! Kim G., who we affectionately call "Kimmy", at the bar is the most attentive and fun bartender I've ever met! She's awesome, and did I mention that she makes a great drink?? Her skills speak for themselves when drinking one of her old fashioned-s. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Came in to sit at the bar with one of my closest friends. Didn’t think too much of the place at first but when we were greeted by bartender Kim, she changed my whole mood. She had so much energy and was very helpful in helping us select our first round. Since it was our first time, we had no idea what to expect but Kim quickly made us feel at home with her warm smile and bubbly attitude. I hope I get her every time I come in. Service was exceptional. I will definitely be back!!!

We came in today and sat down at the bar where Kim was and she was wonderful! She made our night and I had to write this review. We will be coming back to visit our new friend Kim! Food is always good here and you have to try the mushrooms, delicious.

Was my first time here with a close friend of mine to have a few drinks and were greeted by the bar -tender Kim and honestly made our visit that much better . Kim is an amazing bartender! friendly, fast, and incredibly skilled. Every drink she makes is on point, and her personality makes the whole experience better. She’s the kind of bartender that keeps people coming back and I will definitely be one of them. Highly recommend!

Any time myself and my loved ones come here, it's always satisfactory. Beautiful building, great music and atmosphere, wonderfully made food and drinks (I recommend the new cranberry cocktail), and amazing service from waiters and waitresses alike! I'd recommend the all-day fix course!

Our server, Vern, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He made my husband and I feel at home while answering any questions we had. The good food and the good people will certainly bring us back to Houlihan’s in the future.

We recently hosted our daughter’s 6th birthday party here, and everything from food to service to management was top notch. James was very accommodating and wonderfully managed all the details of the party right from the day of booking, Marcus and Casly made sure that everything on the day of the party was immaculate. Casly went above and beyond serving our guests and being patient with so many guests. We are regulars at this location but now I am fan of hosting events here as well.

I usually sit at the bar and play trivia on Wednesdays, and honestly, Kim is a big reason I keep coming back. She’s absolutely amazing — so kind, attentive, and always goes above and beyond for her customers. She’ll even check if something off the menu can be made, just to make sure you’re happy. The entire bar staff is great, but Kim truly stands out. I love that I can come here, unwind after work, and always be greeted with a friendly face.

Haven’t been here since the pandemic and we decided after tonight’s dinner we will return. Brielle was friendly, funny, and attentive and made sure we had what was necessary. Food was very good and the drinks were on point. Thank you!

This Paramus spot offers a reliable, comfortable dining experience with friendly service, great drinks at the bar, and tasty favorites. The only drawback is the low seats compared to the high tables, but overall it’s still a solid, easygoing place to enjoy a meal.

UPDATE: I went back to treat my grandson to lunch for doing well in school. I was truly looking forward to eating there because the 4 times I've been there the meals have consistently been good. However, while the appetizers - buffalo wings and pork dumplings were great, and the ribs with fries my grandson had were great, my burger was not. Whomp, whomp so much for savoring every bite. I ordered it medium-well to ensure juiciness but the chef made it well done. I ate it because I was starving, don't like to be wasteful, and I especially don't like sending anything back to the kitchen. It was obvious our server was overwhelmed because I heard her say it to another table. She took forever to come and take care of us and a long time to bring us our water, appetizers, and food. I never expected that I would be disappointed. But lesson learned NOT to go there at lunchtime during the week. My 2 daughters and I stopped for a quick bite. We had French onion soup, fish tacos, a chicken sandwich, and a burger. All of the food was good. The portions were perfect. My fish tacos were delicious. Our server was Brian. He made sure we were well taken care of. He kept his eye on our table to ensure we had everything we needed. He was courteous and polite. I would return on a Sunday and request to sit at one of his tables. I find that great service is very hard to find. I made a point to let him know that I appreciated how well he took care of our table.

Happy hour lasts until 7pm. They have amazing food and beverages!! Crafted beer is only 4$ Mojitos 5$ The soups where 4.99$ each and the Bruschettas/ Wings 7$ each. The mushrooms 5$. We also ordered the sticky cake with ice cream on top, 5.99$ Ambience is super comfortable and relaxed. Servers are polite and fast. To be honest, this is a GREAT option for a Friday night! It's definitely a new favorite! Coming back soon to have more fun and relax after a loooong week!! 🙌🏻😎✌🏻

Went in the afternoon and it was happy hour. Hubby and I enjoyed the drinks and appetizers. The portions were small but they were actually filling (satisfying). We will definitely be back again and the waiter was also great. Quick service too.

The bartending needs improvement. Everytime i give a drink a try it disappoints. Other than that the spot of decent. Wings are always on good.

Keslie did an amazing job tonight. We had over 20 people in our group and she hurled. She made sure that everyone had everything they needed. Smiled and made everyone feel welcome. Great job!

My son and I really like Houlihans and go.there once or twice a month for dinner. We were there this past Tuesday evening. When we walked in it was fairly empty but the hostess wasn't at the front to seat us. We waited 3 or 4 minutes until she came to the front carrying a to-go food bag from the kitchen. She walked right past us without saying a word and gave the food to a waiting delivery person. THEN, she addressed us and seated us. We both ordered soup and entrees. It took a while before the waitress brought out our soup. We no longer had time to try a spoonful, and the waitress was still standing at our table, while a server approached our table with our main course. When I looked at her, her words were, what do you want me to do with the food? As I like HOT food I wanted to say take it back and fix it.....but she dropped it off and I tried to juggle both so neither got cold, BUT.... I don't know if our waitress was late bringing the soup or the cooks didn't care and made all at once. Either way, tough luck for us.

Overall, it's an okay dining experience. Our waitress didn't really have extensive knowledge about what was on the menu or whether or not things could be substituted. The food was a bit lacking. The Pineapple Punch (signature drink) was good, but the Talk Tiki To Me (mocktail) tasted more of water than the dragon fruit simple syrup. Baby back ribs and half of chicken were okay. The chicken had a good amount of flavor, but the mac and cheese did not. For dessert, both the Creme Brulee and Chocolate Cappuccino Cake were just okay.

We went here on a Sunday and were surprised and excited that they had happy hour all day at the bar. We ordered some drinks and a couple of appetizers to share. The drink’s definitely hit the spot but the food was okay quality. We ordered the nachos, avocado chicken egg rolls, and chicken tenders. The service was also very slow. The portions were large for the amount you paid which was great!

Ordered a prime rib that came out well ordered it medium rare. Then was told the prime ribs are made in the morning so they can’t come out medium rare that should’ve been divulged before meal was ordered. I was starving so decided to eat it and it was so dry i. Ouldmt even eat half. The food has really gone downhill. Crème brûlée came out cold no sugar crunchy top. When you have longhorn in Texas roadhouse right down the corner, I would suggest eating elsewhere

What happened to this place? It was pretty empty for a Friday afternoon. There was one guy who was the host, waiter, and bartender. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was the cook, too. The only good thing was the calamari and Mexican mule. The food was okay. Our one complaint was the chicken parm pasta was mixed with cream which did not make it good.

This meal was $16.99 there's no way one taco and couple of fries worth that price, it took 40min for this meal to come too, everything was cold the taco was quite hard. Definitely not coming back to this place.

It was cold in there, felt like the AC was on. Our quesadilla was burnt and you can smell and see it, I don’t know why you would serve it. How do you get a warm burger but the bun was cold. I wouldn’t go back, I was very disappointed.

This is the first time to visit the resturant today 02/14 at 20:50 pm and we are really got shocked from the timing of waiting and the timing to be served and the timing to get the food. The food came cold, dry and not rich in flavors. This is sincerely shocking I’d recommend to reassess the kitchen staff
