been a fan of tacoria since they opened at Rutgers New Brunswick back during my college days! I was so happy to see a location open up near my hometown and had to stop by to get my fix. maybe the nostalgia plays a big part for me, but the food STILL hits. the burritos are delicious and packed with protein. the street corn is a great appetizer to get your taste buds flowing.

The food was made so fresh! I tried the brussel sprouts taco and the avocado taco. Both were excellent choices! The ingredients melded so perfectly together and I enjoyed every bite! The atmosphere is incredible! I cannot say enough good things about this place.

I stopped by Taqueria the other week for their grand opening, and I think I've found a new favorite taco spot. The place is vibrantly decorated, super clean, and the music was on point. Anthony, the manager, walked me through some of the menu options even though there were digital kiosks available—that’s rare these days, so it was nice. The steak was cooked so perfectly in my tacos and burrito box, I was back for more within the week! Anthony mentioned I should try the chicken next time, so that's definitely my next order. Will recommend to friends!

I had a great experience at Tacoria in Paramus! The burrito and burrito bowl were very tasty and fresh. The sauce added a lot of flavor, and the portions were big. The staff was friendly, and everything was served quickly. I would definitely recommend this place for good Mexican

Tacoria always supersedes my expectations. This location is close to my in-laws and is a better location than the last location. One of the few restaurants that’s consistently giving me a great experience for the meat eater and vegetarians in my family at one location!

decided to check then out and the hype is real. fresh food and drinks. loved their fresh salsas especially the green one. their guac is way better than chipotle and my kids loved their quesadillas. the actual restaurant is also beautiful

I still can’t fathom how much steak and guac they pack into their burritos… it is insane.. Please open one in Brooklyn soon!

(moving review from old Paramus location) I’ve held back on writing something about this place for a while. Tacoria is too good. My go-to is a burrito with chipotle aioli, and I’m never disappointed. Food is made quickly, always tastes fresh, and have never had an issue with this location. I’d love to write a paragraph, but I’d start rambling. Such an awesome place and great atmosphere.

Since trying Tacoria in Morristown about two years ago, I’ve been a big fan of this chain. Recently, we visited the Paramus location, which makes this my third Tacoria overall—and it seems they maintain a consistent ambience across locations. The farmhouse-style décor and seating arrangements are amazing and very inviting. We ordered a quesadilla, burrito box, chips with guac, and Mexican street corn. The Mexican corn was surprisingly excellent—boiled corn mixed with their in-house sauce. Absolutely loved it. Both the quesadilla and the burrito bowl were great as well. Quantity-wise, I felt the portions were a bit on the smaller side—one entrée might leave you wanting more. They offer 4–5 different house-made sauces, and each one adds a nice touch. The guava-based drink was refreshing and really good too. Lastly, the service was top-notch, which made the experience even better.

Great new location! They related from Route 17 and there is plenty of seating, but it still has that signature Tacoria rustic vibe. The staff here is super friendly and attentive, even checking in on us while we ate. The Al Pastor quesadilla and street corn were hits, as was the guava juice. My only gripe was the sausage burrito being a bit salty and heavy on the rice. Overall, a solid spot for some good Mexican food.

I wasn’t planning to write a review for this place BUT I have to shout out the server/cashier, Peter. Today, Feb 21, I took my family (wife, 3yr old, 7yr old and myself) for lunch. Ordering food was easy and service was quick (in a good way). I didn’t have a lot of customizations, just asking for some sauces to be omitted as they might have been too spicy for my children. Buzzer went off, grabbed our meal and began noshing on a burrito bowl and a pie-size nacho. Food tasted good and our kids of course, loved having “chips” for lunch, haha. Unfortunately, midway through our lunch, my wife noticed an ingredient in the nachos that we weren’t expecting. Not that it made the nachos inedible, it just was not something we preferred to have with our food. I brought it to the employee at the pick up counter, and then he called Peter. Peter came, saw what happened and immediately apologized to me, had a very genuine reaction of disappointment not to provide exactly what we hoped for, and then took the dish and got it remade. Peter went above and beyond to help our family have the meal we wanted and I really hope the owner of this shop recognizes his top notch work. That all said, I wanted to point out that their house made sauces are good, but their Valentina sauce which is labeled as their hottest, is definitely not their hottest sauce. The habanero is, in my opinion, spicier. For the spiciest sauce they have altogether (they also have bottled sauces), I think it was their Yucateco (I believe it was the habanero and ghost sauce).

Tacoria (Located in Bergen Town Center) 812 Bergen Town Center Paramus, NJ 07652 Horchata Pollo Tinga Burrito Box Chips & Guacamole This location was previously located on Route 17 South. Thankfully, the restaurant has moved into a better spot. There is now plenty of parking available and everybody also has the option to shop at several of the other stores available. Horchata: Although this cinnamon flavored beverage is geared toward a dessert drink, I couldn’t resist the temptation to drink it with my lunch. Even though two other Agua Fresca drinks are available, I decided to indulge in a couple horchatas because it is my favorite drink. Pollo Tinga Burrito Box: I can never go wrong with a box because you get the most for your moneys worth. They are able to pack more protein and sides into a bowl compared to a burrito or quesadilla. The spicy pulled chicken was seasoned perfectly and all of the toppings complemented the main course. I also decided to supplement salsa verde, smoky roja, and habanero dipping sauces. Each sauce had its own unique flavor and was a great addition to the box! I would have preferred to eat this course with a spoon, but Tacoria only provides a fork and knife. (None of their franchised locations carry spoons.) Chips & Guacamole: I was definitely given more than a fair share of tortilla chips because it was served in a brown bag along with a side of freshly made guacamole. It is a win-win whether you decide to have the chips as is or with the avocado dipping sauce. Decided to try Tacoria at Bergen Town Center for the first time, and I was really impressed. The tacos were delicious, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. But this review is more for the manager Anthony. I wanted to give a big shoutout to Anthony, for his outstanding customer service. The ice machine was out of order and the soda fountain wasn’t working properly, but before I could even say anything, Anthony noticed and immediately offered me a complimentary bottled soda from the fridge. That kind of proactive and genuine service makes a big difference. Thank you, Anthony, for going above and beyond, you made a great first visit even better!

Ordered grilled chicken box with add on steak only to come home and see no steak was added, even though was charged extra. There was also barely any chicken in the bowls. Please be careful when looking at orders. Never had this problem at the Ridgewood location. Please improve.

I came to this restaurant with a couple friends to try something new, and when we went to place our orders the cashier was on her phone on instagram while leaning on the counter, with her back facing us. She was talking horribly about her co-workers, about how they couldn’t get anything right. If I remember correctly she had red hair and a blue shirt. I hope you guys solve this issue as soon as soon as possible.

Omg, I am nauseous! 🤢 This is the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had in my life from the bottom of my heart. The rice is hard and gritty! They give four pieces of chicken in a bowl with loads of beans and the guacamole is just salt salt salt. If you want ambiance, music, and friendly customer service you’ll enjoy. If you are going for food, just go to Chipotle with all honestly. I wish I would have went to Chipotle. It’s bad bad 🤢
