Janejira Thai Bistro

I’ve ordered takeout here several times and each time it’s just as delicious as the last! Flavor is awesome and always consistent. I recommend the fresh summer rolls and the pad see ew. Definitely one of my go to Thai places in Pasadena!

I got the lunch special yellow curry plus an iced coffee and both were pretty great! The lunch special is a GREAT deal for about ~$11. You get a lot of good food for the cost. Service was also really top notch. Attentive enough without being too frequent. Overall I look forward to trying other dishes and for dinner as well.

Met up here with an old friend of mine and it was the first time either of us had tried this place -- we were definitely not disappointed! We both had curry (him the green and I the yellow) and it was amazing. I ordered it the spiciest level I could get it but it was still pretty mild compared to some other local Thai places -- if you're looking for eye-watering, sweat-inducing curry (which I was), keep that in mind because I didn't get it here. That being said, the flavors were top-notch. I also ordered the Thai Iced Tea which was superb. The staff was very friendly, the place was clean and well-kept, and the vibe was great. I'll definitely be coming back, and maybe the food will last on the table long enough to snap some pictures of.

This place is great! The food is absolutely delicious and value priced, meaning you get a good size portion for the price. Plates are served family style meant for sharing, so bring a friend. I visited just after the holidays so they still had their Christmas decor up but I could tell it's usually nicely decorated. We didn't have to wait when we visited but it's a small restaurant so they probably get filled up pretty quickly during busy dinner hours. Service was very attentive and served with a smile. I don't live near the area but I plan to make the drive again real soon!

The Lunch special was very good, came with an egg roll, salad, soup, and fried noodle or curry of choice. I also got some thai tea with boba, and the boba was fresh. Do not turn down their water. It is filtered and tastes very pure. The service here was very friendly and attentive! There is a bathroom for customers and it is kept in clean condition.

Amazing spot. We ordered the red curry, egg rolls, and combo stir fry and I would order it all again! Some of the best Thai I’ve had in LA. They also have lunch specials but I haven’t dropped by yet for that.

Wow - delicious everything! The restaurant was clean and cozy, and service was amazing. Everything we had was so good, especially the spring rolls and dessert. The fried banana and vanilla ice cream was so unique and is a must-try. Pricing is great as well - definitely worth the trip from the west side!

The tom yum was FIRE. I need to come back and try their noodle dishes but the soup was exactly what I needed on this chilly December evening. Great prices for great quality and the service was excellent :)

We had lunch here. We ordered a veggie hot pot ($13.95), meat ball noodle soup ($11.95) and 4 fresh spring rolls($8.95). Very tasty food. I asked to try their green and yellow curry because of the reviews I read. Both are delicious, but I prefer the yellow one due to its texture and a dash more spicy. The portions are generous. We took home what we did not eat.

We were visiting Pasadena and ended up eating at this cute Thai place. The Tom yum fried rice is so good that I’m certain that I’ll miss it a lot. Pad Kee Mao is good and chewy!

Food is very tasty. Super friendly staff. Ambience is 👍👍👍. Enjoyed our first time here!❤️

This restaurant is amazing. They are multiple Thai restaurants together, but this one kicks ass. My coworkers and i have tried them all, and we keep coming to this one. The service is fast, they are always smiling at you. And their lunch specials are incredible. I recommend this place 100%.

I got the Pad Thai lunch special and it comes with such great variety. The service is very good too. 10/10 spot.

Every team member we encountered was focused on helping us, being present, and really connecting. This was refreshing, and very nice! The food was tasty too! Our favorite dish was the garlic fried entree. Your choice of protein cooked up with garlic and cabbage. Beef with broccoli was good! Eggplant with shrimp was tasty, but not our favorite version of this dish (they a thick syrup/sauce with the eggplant, we typically prefer a light, stir fried version), pad se ew with beef was great, and the rice was traditional fair. We enjoyed the shrimp egg roll app. There is slight ($2) up charge for shrimp and some proteins; same with upgrading to brown rice. Mango stick rice was sweet, and hit the spot. There is some parking out front on Colorado directly in front of the restaurant. Side streets also provide nice parking options. They were quick, food was ready and fresh within 12min of ordering. The drinks were delicious and the atmosphere was so pretty! The service was also 5 star as we were a little indecisive and the waiter was so patient and helpful. I really like this place. When I want Thai. I try to hold off until I can come here. Good service. Good food. I like their yellow curry. Good food good atmosphere. I wish they had an option on the menu make the lunch specials vegan style. Unfortunately only ala carte is done vegan style

I am writing as I eat its fried rice and decided to write a short review. This restaurant is great. Stirred hard with generous portions of onions plus other fresh ingredients that fried rice retains the freshly fired taste. Rice texture strikes the bulls eye. Perhaps new this restaurant seems to be but the taste is a skilled, experienced one, for real. I regularly fly in Bangkok for food and this crew offers very clean and good taste to it. Do recommend for fried rice. Thai iced tea is a modest $2.50 (right price I think for now) and yet well brewed not to waste a bit. Since the basic fried rice was indeed good, I will definitely try other dishes by revisiting yes soon.

I ordered the papaya salad with shrimp it was really good but the portion was small and not filling. Also the salad with shrimp is about 20 dollars. The service was great, I ordered online and it was ready pretty fast.

Food are good! The Thai male server has excellent customer service. He knew what we want in a minimal conversation and place the orders. We love their tastes. However, when we returned and reorder the same food in his day off. The other service confused with our instructions that messed up the taste of the dish.

Food is mid Thai food, aimed for a non-Thai audience with general Asian cuisine like Orange chicken. They can accommodate gluten allergies but with very bland sauce less options. Adorable but forgettable.
