Came for dinner with hubby and son. Amazing prices. Great presentation. Didn’t have much expectations coming in so we were pleasantly surprised. I had the Baked Salmon for only $12! Hubby ordered a Beef Teriyaki Bowl. Son had Chicken Teriyaki and Soft Shell Crab which actually tasted like REAL CRAB! And their Coffee Macarons are to die for!

I was brought to the amazing sushi with friends and great company. Treated by the company with respectful and cared for with amazing service. God bless with Holy Spirit. 🌹🩷

This is my first review On Google and I am honored to be giving my first review to my favorite sushi place. I’ve been coming here A little over a year and a half & And every time I come here, the food is Exceptional!!! The staff are so kind & Manager Sam. The rolls and fish are so fresh. I’ve never had another sushi spot this great. I highly recommend trying the oyster shooter once if you like oysters…. Hidden Gem 🤩

I visited OJI Sushi and really enjoyed my meal. I ordered the Philadelphia Roll (8 pieces), plus 4 pieces of sashimi and 4 pieces of sushi. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The quality was great overall, and I left very satisfied. I’d definitely come back again for another sushi night.

Amazing sushi spot! The food was incredible the Sushi Hungry rolls were so flavorful, and the Picante ones had the perfect kick. The ramen was also delicious, rich, and comforting. Service was super friendly and fast. Sergio was very attentive SO to him!! and the whole place has such a calm, relaxing vibe. Definitely a new favorite can’t wait to come back!

Playa Del Carmen Eats and Drinks

My friend and I went in to enjoy happy hour and we ended up staying until close. The food was delicious, I ordered a beno box -YUM, and the drinks just kept coming and we had a blast catching up! The waiter and staff were a lot of fun but they did not see us coming! I am definitely going back once I'm back in town!

Our favorite Sushi spot in Pasadena. The manager and staff are very friendly, providing good service. The restaurant has a welcoming, lively atmosphere, excellent foods. Right now, they have $1beer, and the roll if you buy 3 rolls gets 1 roll free. My favorite rolls are yellowtail and tuna. Basically, we go there once or twice a week. You need to try Sake Bomb, ask the staff to arrange it for you, Sam is the master of it, oh strawberry soju was so good too.

Order the garlic edamame (I literally wanted to lick the plate) and the Omikase, which was GORGEOUS and with the edamame and some rice enough for two. Photo is the basic Omikase … a fresh delicious work of art!

For the Pasadena, California, neighborhood that they’re located in, OJI Sushi & Sake Bar already has prices that are very reasonable for the premium quality of fish and seafood you will find in the San Gabriel Valley. We started with Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice, sashimi and sushi that we would typically get at any sushi spot, and were blown away by how fresh and deliciously flavorful each bite was☺️ As for their rolls, there are literally pages of them that you can choose from. We felt adventurous and ordered the Flaming Fire Baked Roll, with ingredients from both land and sea. And you know when there’s fire involved, it’s going to be a show stopping dish🤩 This definitely everyone needs to try at least once, and at OJI, ✨you simply trust the sushi chefs and let them take you on a culinary journey that you deserve✨ We had: 🍣Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice, 🥟Gyoza, 🦀Blue Crab Hand Rolls, 🍣Assorted Sushi (Albacore, Bluefin Tuna, Scallop, Black Snapper), 🐠Yellowtail Carpaccio, 🔥Flaming Fire Roll (deep fried shrimp & spicy tuna inside, filet mignon on top), 🐟Yellowtail & Shiso

Had a wonderful time here. The staff is amazing! The fatty tuna (not super fatty) was delicious and the rolls were really fun. I was impressed with the quality of the fish! The spicy rolls where decently spicy which was refreshing. I think I need to try the oysters the next time I am here. Also, they have great happy hour deals, too! Can't wait to come back!

Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - Chirashi Bowl, Scallop Roll, and Yellowtail Roll. The rolls were simple but the seafood were all really fresh. The chirashi bowl was our favorite since the sashimi were generous slices, the rice was nicely cooked and seasoned, and the seasoning was complimentary without being overwhelming. Ambience: 5/5 - very clean with neat and more modern decorations. Still very cozy in a way with the dimmer lights without it being too dark Service: 5/5 - server was more reserved but still attentive. We did have a roll that didn't show up for a while but he was able to follow up on our behalf and got the order to our table within 5 minutes Value for price: 4/5 - on the pricier side but the quality seems worth it

MJ has helped me a couple of times and she is incredibly sweet, patient, and always going above and beyond with her customer service not just for me but for everyone she helps. Parking is convenient with spaces in the front and a few additional spots in the back alley. If you are in Pasadena and craving sushi this place is a must try. Honestly it feels like there may be new ownership or new chefs because the food tastes so much better than I remember from about 5 years ago.

Could have been a bit more airy in texture, but was still very good + Choice of draft Japanese beers + Baked rolls are unique with lots of flavor. A lot of food and a little heavier than your normal roll sushi + We ordered “Oji specials” and all were delicious. + Servers were very friendly, kept tea, water and fountain drinks filled without asking. Nice + Hiphop style playlist in the background, not too loud. Customer noise can get a little loud. + Very price competitive, very good for quality of food and service. No negatives!

I'm giving Oji a five star rating because I have been coming here for years--at least the past 6 years. Most of the time, the food is great! My recent visit--the crispy tuna appetizer was flavorless and a bit chewy in a less than fresh way. Although this was my first time at Oji in a while, I was surprised because normally the food is delicious! Service was good. I'll try again Oji! Food: 4

This has been my second time coming to this restaurant. Service has always been excellent as well as the food. No long wait at all plus the waitress was very nice & helpful. Definitely would recommend this place to family and friends.

This is our go-to sushi spot a Friday date night, a fun and easy dinner out with friends, and for take out. Lots of different options depending on your mood and hunger level. Food is yummy and staff is great! We love Oji.

This is probably something I’ll stick to because when I tried their rolls I wasn’t nearly as impressed. Their rolls were good but nothing memorable. I’ll continue to go back and order sashimi and the chirashi bowl though.
