Opinions de Panini Kabob Grill Pasadena
Tried the Kafta Kebab plate at Panini in Pasadena and it was delicious! The kebabs were juicy, well-seasoned, and had that perfect grilled flavor. The rice was fluffy and aromatic, and the side salad with feta was super fresh and refreshing. I also really liked the grilled veggies on the skewer -- they added a nice smoky touch. The portion was generous, the flavors were on point, and everything tasted fresh. Definitely a solid spot if you're craving Mediterranean food. I'd order this again for sure!
We were in the mood for something healthy and fresh and we found it here! It was very tasty and they were happy to accommodate our low-carb needs. Will dine here again!
If it is your first time here I highly recommend the chicken kabob plate. It's super juicy, amazing flavor and charred vegetables, so good! Also, you can do double salad instead of rice if you're watching the carbs. My family has been a fan of panini for years and we love all their locations, but this one is so big and open, so excited for this location!

Delicious kabobs with decent portions and high quality. We did takeout and the food came well prepared. The hummus was a great complement to the kabob and rice and salad. Very classic Mediterranean food with lots of different options.
Food, decor, and staff are beautiful and has awesome taste. 3 servers for such a large restaurant seems short especially without a bus-boy (maybe he is sick). I think there was 5 people running the whole front. Service wasn't great but still above par. Still 5 stars in my eyes and will be back for the food specifically. 🤩
Place looks new, had a long wait l, and service was slow which is expected for Valentine's day. Food came out and was worth the wait. Had a glass of peroni with a chicken shish kabob and romaine avocado salad. Made up for the wait.
I loved visiting THE RESTAURANT yesterday for lunch.. The food was so flavorful and amazing. The staff was so happy and attentive. The portions were so huge I had so much leftover. What a great the time. I only wanted the kabobs to have no tomato, but they are pre make it. That’s my only complaint. The manager Tim was the best. So genuine. I will be back!!!!!!
I would say that we got more food than we bargained for. When we ordered for 2, it was like ordering for 3-4. We took leftovers home. It was seasoned well and very colorful. Telling my friends to try this out. It's that good. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Wonderful service and even better food. Brought my girlfriend here and was helped by Jim. Came here for lunch. His staff was attentive and the food was delicious! I'll be back, this is my new go to spot that's local and convenient!!
Great Mediterranean food at a fantastic value. I actually thought it was even better than some of the famous places we’ve been in Glendale. I understand why this place has some lower ratings due to slow service and can echo that sentiment— they weren’t rude or anything, just understaffed. But we’re talking about a spot in old pas where you can feed four people for $55 with healthy good food and bring home leftovers. I can forgive a water glass going empty. Highly recommend, would def return!
Was a craft vendor outside there shop for an entire weekend. They treated me and the other vendors very well every time we ordered from them to the point they hand delivered food so some of us since we were just outside the restaurant. Their prices were beyond fair for the amount of food you got, everything was delicious, and the display of the food was splendid.
The chicken shish kabobs were so juicy and tender, much better than ones I had at other panini kabobs recently (in OC). The meal at $18 with salad and rice and split for 2 people (for extra $4) was a crazy deal. The ambiance was quasi upscale, more so than other locations. Parked in meter spot right in front but apparently there is free parking behind the restaurant. Top notch lunch visit.
Arrived ~4pm on a weekday, parked in front (public metered parking on Colorado Blvd), went inside and was seated immediately (party of 2). Our server arrived quickly and took our order (we knew exactly what we wanted having been to other PKGs around the southland). The food was delicious as always and came shortly after ordering. Compliments to the chefs on their cooking (taste and speed)! A tip, the portions on the kebob combos are VERY fair and opting for a split with the $4 fee gets you your own full salad and rice servings - more than enough for 2, and well worth the price! Highly recommended overall - a happy customer that will be returning often!
Went here on a whim and was met with good food and good service. Our server Blanca had great energy and she was especially helpful in her menu recommendations. She and the manager Tim also checked in on our table often, which we appreciated! We got the falafel platter and beef koobifeh plate and we're blown away by the portion sizes. The prices are really good for the amount of food you're getting. And of course the food tasted wonderful.
Great place, good food, and good times. It was busy but it was worth the wait. The chicken litterly melts in your mouth. So yum yum!!!

We ordered the chicken kabab and looleh kabab with pilaf and an avocado salad, and overall it was a really satisfying meal. The flavors were well balanced — the pilaf was warm and comforting, the avocado salad was fresh and light, and the looleh kabab was juicy and full of flavor. The chicken kabab was tasty as well, though a few bites were a bit too charred for my taste. We went on Saturday around lunch time and had about a 20-minute wait, which honestly wasn’t bad. Once seated, everything came together nicely, and the food was worth the short wait. A solid spot if you’re craving kabab with fresh sides.
I’ve visited this location a few times now. They’re located in the Paseo where Great Maple used to be. When I go it always seems like they’re understaffed. Takes a while to get a refill on drinks. The food is good, the same as I’ve had at other locations. Parking isn’t really an issue if you use the Paseo underground garage. If you live in the area, the walk isn’t bad either. Very easy to get to. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Just beware if you sit outside, it may take even longer to get service.
Ordered beef kebab and chicken kebab. Although it lacks the national spice flavor, it was pretty good and honestly it’s nice to eat something similar to Turkish cuisine :) They made us wait for around 7mins although the restaurant was empty and service was kinda slow. But overall food was great! Thank you

⭐️ Terrible service! I placed a to-go order in advance so I wouldn’t have to wait, but when I arrived, they hadn’t even started preparing it. I had to wait another 25 minutes at the restaurant. The staff was indifferent and didn’t even apologize. Don’t waste your time — this place is absolutely not worth such poor service.

I placed an online order and then waited over 10 minutes in a line full of frustrated customers just to be acknowledged. The manager on duty took his sweet time handling a DoorDash order, to the point where it honestly felt intentional. Once that was done, instead of helping the rest of us who were clearly waiting, he completely ignored the line and went to the bar to chat with his buddy. To make things worse, a woman who appeared to be a server walked in and also ignored the growing line. Rather than helping customers who were waiting for their food, she spent several minutes talking to the guy at the bar and even gave him her number. Only after they were done socializing did she finally start helping customers. Unprofessional, disrespectful, and a total waste of time. If you value basic customer service or efficiency, don’t bother ordering from this location.
The male till operator who took my order with slicked hair was not friendly and offered very poor customer service. The food also took a very very long time to come which I think was to do with the male because he forgot to pass it to the kitchen. There was 16 staff working and the majority of them were just standing around doing nothing so can't say my order didn't come because they were busy. Can see other similar reviews about their slow service. Of note, there was a female staff member there who was quite polite and friendly.
We have been to the Panini Grill several times on our way to The Speakers Series at the Pasadena Civic auditorium, it’s very convenient to go there for dinner before the program. I have had the Panini sandwich in the past which was tasty. This last visit was truly terrible, bad enough that we will not go back. This time I ordered the Panini steak sandwich. It was not as described on the menu, it had no mushrooms, no bell peppers or onions and no provolone cheese. It had maybe one tablespoon of beef on dry bread. My friend had a chicken wrap in a spinach tortilla and she had a similar experience, it had a tiny bit of chicken and was otherwise overfilled with romaine lettuce and not much else. I don’t know if they are cutting back to save money while charging the same price, but they have lost this customer. It’s really too bad, we had high hopes for them.

The experience at this restaurant was really disappointing. The Hispanic waitress who served us (around 30–35 years old) had a completely indifferent and unprofessional attitude. She walked by our table several times without ever asking if we needed anything while, she was being friendly and attentive to others. We came to enjoy a nice meal but ended up feeling ignored. I really hope the restaurant pays more attention to the kind of service they provide. The place might be good, but the poor service ruins everything. It made us feel unwelcome which should never happen in a place that claims to offer good service. Such a shame because the whole experience was overshadowed by her lack of courtesy.
