It's nice to eat a burger and feel great afterward. The menu has lots of options, and everything tastes fresh. The veggies and salads are crisp, and the lasagna is pretty good too. There was only a short wait on a Saturday afternoon, which was a nice surprise. It can get a little loud inside, but the place is big, so they might accommodate you. Solid place for a tasty and healthy meal!

This is my third time dining here and it did not disappoint. A lovely indoor/outdoor atmosphere is inviting and a great place to eat, drink, and people watch (this location attracts some beautiful people). My server Sophia this recent experience was superb. She was a doll and super attentive and sweet. The meatloaf didn’t disappoint and the iced lavender match latte was a perfect way to start my meal. I also found paid parking on the street, it was $2.50 for two hours. I love that I could pay my check through the inKind app.

a Vegan and Her

I said it in Chicago and now I’ll say it in Pasadena, I’ll keep coming back for their seasonal vegan pizza options made with sourdough. Their chili paste, although not made in house, I a must to top any dish. If you don’t want a pizza (serves 1 hungry person or two not so hungry), try their ancient grain bowl with tofu, delicious and fresh. The guacamole and cauliflower wouldn’t be something I order again but they were good. Hadn’t had dates with cauliflower so that was a nice touch. The vibe always feels fresh and nicer than normal restaurants for a cool gather, date night or simply a nice dinner. This particular location of my favorite of three I’ve gone to. It feels fresh and spacious. Offering indoor and outdoor seating in Old Town Pasadena. Service is great, sometimes slower than other times but it gives you time to enjoy more drinks. Drinks are great! I suggest the spicy margaritas. They do have a happy hour but only one vegan option on that menu. Happy Munchies, aVeganAndHer

Came here for a Saturday brunch. We had a party of 10, so made reservations the day before. Upon arrival at the hostess stand, we were promptly seated at our table. Our table was in the inside area, but it was perfect weather, so they had all the doors open. This area gave you the benefits of shade and air conditioning, but also the fresh air. Our server did an amazing job from initially being seated and throughout the meals. We enjoyed a few brunch cocktails while looking over the menu. The Spritz drinks were very light & refreshing. We also started off with some Herb Hummus and Edamame Guacamole which everyone enjoyed. For the meals, we had everything from the burgers, salads, and tacos. Surprise hit was the O.G. Grass Fed Burger. As common as a burger may seem, this one was like no other. All the dishes were plated nicely, had generous ingredients, and tasted great. I wouldn't have complained if I had any dish as my main. Great place to come for a nice meal, drinks, atmosphere, and customer service.

Mark my judgment thus: Of all the True Food kitchens I have known, this one stands tallest in my esteem. The space itself is fair and pleasing to the eye, open and well kept, inviting one to linger without haste. The menu shows welcome variety, offering much without losing its way. The food arrives bright and fresh, its flavors lively and well expressed, and the portions strike that rare balance of satisfaction without excess. In all, it is a place well executed, and in my humble opinion, the finest of its kind.

Our group of four visited twice for weekend lunches. Overall, the food is good quality for the price ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. It feels fresh, isn't too heavy, and didn't cause any indigestion. Portions are fair. The fries were not precooked, which was a very nice touch. While the turkey burger wasn't phenomenal, it tasted ok. Buffalo chicken sandwich wasn't spicy but it was flavorful (it was part of the specials menu). They have many vegetarian options and the service is good. It can get busy, so it's better to make a reservation. We would come back again!

Food was decent, but not worth the price. The hummus was pretty mediocre, and the salads (chinese chicken salad and chopped salad) were just ok. The Sparkling Prickly Pear Tisane was nice though. And the service and atmosphere were pretty good. I would give it 5 stars if prices were more reasonable.

I used to really like this place — the food always felt healthy and delicious. But everything changed when I ordered delivery. Seeing that many stale carrots and browned avocados just made me feel like the restaurant isn’t what it claims to be. Is this really how you treat your delivery customers? I chose your restaurant because I believed in the healthy ingredients you promised. But honestly, I don’t think food like this does anything good for my health. If possible, let your chefs eat it themselves.

I’m generally a fan of true food kitchen, they have healthy and nutritious options that do not sacrifice on flavor. However this location suffers in quality during very busy hours. The location is huge, with multiple indoor and outdoor seating areas. When it gets super busy, service is very limited and the food also suffers. We had to wait over 30 minutes for the food to come out, and when it finally came it was cold.

The quality of Tenderlion steak meat was not good. Plus it came out too dry and chewy, though the potato and veggie side was good enough to balance that. Guacamole was tasty. Cauliflower could be better. I give 3 stars for service. Too much wait for seating, to much wait for someone to come and take the order. I do not understand why I should provide phone number when getting on the wait list and not get a call and instead of 10/15 minutes wait for 40 minutes. The host could not find any logical answer when I approached her asking why she had taken my number and did not call to let us know the table was ready. And we were seating and waiting at the bar. The overall noise level is quite high there and one might not hear the will call. Also, before serving the dishes it is always a good practice to bring the plates first, or no? :))))) Anyways, very vibrant place overall.
