I wish I’d seen these reviews before choosing to eat here! 2 pizzas at 14e each (average, nothing special) 2 small beers, 1 water and 1 glass wine = 65e!!! Outrageous 17% service fee. You don’t even get charged that in London!!!!!! Think twice before stopping here.

As mentioned by many others, they add extra charges. Shame as the food was good as was the service. They turned a 71 euro dining into almost 100 euro! Felt ripped off.

2 pizzas, 1 beer and 1 water was 55€. 17% gratuity was added automatically + another 5€ fee that we did not understand. Food was alright but i don't recommend eating here.

Food was good, great location on the beach. I give 2 stars because as well as the 17% service charge added to the bill instead of the usual 2 or 3 euro, the waiter tried to add in another 10% tip to our bill! Very cheeky, and tried to justify the coperto of €4.70 per person by saying this is normal in italy. I don't like that - very cheeky.

very expensive and not so good food quality! 10% TVA on everything and 17% supplementary service fees at the end on the bill! Typical tourist trap, do not recommend! Ventimiglia has a lot way better restaurants!

Tourist trap don’t come here!!!!! 17% service charge plus any additional tip which you are forced into. They don’t include the tax so that’s an additional €3 a person. Forced into having some stale bread. During our meal we were constantly approached by people selling us tat such as fake designer bags etc. restaurants staff don’t seams to manage this, I suspect this is because they get a rake off if these manage to sell anything to there customers. Food was sub standard for the extortionate price we were made to pay. Worst of all if you sit outside the sea gulls swoop down and consistently try to steal food. What it appears is that if you are a tourist they add on additional “charges” Absolutely disgusting shame on you.

Where to start with how bad this place is?? First there's the 17% service charge that came as a big surprise with the bill, second there's the awful quality of the overpriced food. The tomatoes in my caprese salad were some of the blandest I've ever had, and my husband's fritto misto was not fresh and it was bland. I think they fried rubber bands instead of calamari. Third, and really worst of all, we were harassed by multiple extremely invasive and pushy men on the beach trying to sell us things while we ate on the terrace, and the staff stood by and did nothing. And that particular stretch of the beach is totally littered with garbage. Save yourself and go to literally any other beach front restaurant in Ventimiglia, of which there are plenty to choose from, with better food, better prices, better service and better atmospheres.

Look out for the price: You don’t pay for what is the price on the menucard. A couvert is 35 euro’s extra!!!! 1 salad, 2 pizza’s, 1 bottle of water, 1/2 liter red wine, 1 coffee, 1 pannacotta we paid 106,50 euro excl. service. The couvert is inferior for cutting the pizza. After all we had a very bad impression afterwards.

Avoid this place at all costs. We made the mistake of getting lured in, all seemed fine at first, friendly and attentive staff. Food seemed expensive, we ordered a pizza and a ‘fisherman’s salad’ which was nothing but some quartered tomatoes and anchovies. Not worth 15 euros even remotely. The pizza was acceptable. The real issue came when the bill arrived - a 17% ‘service fee’ was added, and the waiter went on to explain that any tip would be in addition to that! Felt completely scammed. Should have read the other reviews here before. Just move on to the next place.

Tourists and Italians stay away. Worst management, food and service of vintimiglia . Literally just view. I felt trapped and scammed .From the moment you seat lady manager/ owner just want to take out money from you . . High prices, for small doses , food no taste . They say they don’t have wine house for you to pay more , etc. They obliged me to pay 4 euros for a Coperto with a bread with several days ,not fresh literally a stone and despite I had complain they did not changed . should not be open , they don’t care about customer satisfaction at all.
