This place is always a sure thing! Excellent pasta with lots of variations and generous portions! I've tried several dishes, but the shrimp and zucchini are the winner! I don't know where they get their shrimp, but they're out of this world!

If I could give it 6 stars, I would. To all categories The kitchen staff were all very kind, they even let my daughter (a 6-year-old reporter) take a picture of them🥰. And kudos also to the kindness and skill of the girl in the dining room.

Primo Pavia was a lovely discovery. Located in the San Pietro in Verzolo neighborhood, in a renovated restaurant. It features a QR code menu, and the pasta (a gricia) was delicious, with all the ingredients clearly visible. The price was reasonable. I recommend it.

Perfect place for a good first course. The selection of starters is vast and the portions are generous, truly a feast for the eyes! Lovely place, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Marco knows how to welcome you and make you feel at ease—he's great!

We went on a Saturday night; it was crowded, but we didn't have a long wait. The dishes were plentiful and very good, with a nice sauce and pasta cooked al dente. Excellent value. I would go back.

I deeply regret not discovering it sooner! Sunday lunch for two, booked last minute. The friendliness and kindness were evident even over the phone, and it was confirmed once we arrived. The menu is already full of photos, and once you get there, you'll want to try everything. First courses, first courses, first courses, classics and revisited ones. I always prefer to try the variations, and I can only confirm their validity: perfect combinations, intriguing, and delicious. The portions were more than sufficient, I'd say above average, with a quality-price ratio that doesn't have much competition in Pavia. We also tried some fried food (chips and seaweed fritters). They're not mass-produced, they're handmade and delicious, but be careful not to explode because the portions are generous. The staff were friendly and fast. Don't be fooled by the outside appearance of the location; the inside is very clean and well-kept, like another world. Huge, free parking right next door. Bill: 2 people, chips, seaweed fritters, 2 first courses, water. €25!!! No, not per head, total! See you guys again very soon.

Really happy that we found this place! We were so happy with the food we got, so we had to visit them again the next day! I would highly recommend this place. - Especially to other motocross riders that needs good food at a good price point on their trip! 👌🏼 PRIMO is now a saved location on my phone. So if we get back in the area around Pavia, we will come back for sure! Only downside was that they did not have a English menu card, so it can be a little hard to find what to eat! 5 stars from Denmark ⭐️

The best place in Pavia to get Pasta. During my visit my girlfriend and I went 4 times, we dined in 3 times and got take away once and it was always good, always fresh and we both left feeling full. I was even impressed with how hot the food still was when we got take away. The staff are very friendly. I will be back every time I come back to Pavia. You really can’t go wrong with this restaurant.

ottima pasta abbondante a buon prezzo, ottimo servizio con ordine e pagamento direttamente dal telefono sala piccola ma carina, l'unica cosa che non mi piace sono le tovagliette di carta gialle che a mio parere abbassano l'aspetto del posto tutto il resto top, tornerò sicuramente

Purtroppo l'ambientazione e il servizio non fanno giustizia al cibo buono. Si viene a malapena accolti da un personale che non ti accompagna nella cena, ma che ti fa ordinare (e addirittura pagare!) online. È un peccato la mancata interazione col personale; si deve fare tutto col telefono. A causa dell'illuminazione e della disposizione dei tavoli sembra di stare in una mensa. Dulcis in fundo: l'opzione di pagamento alla cassa viene presentata con la frase "Ti piacciono le code? Paga alla cassa".

We ordered a carbonara, and they charged us €15. It was disgusting—at most, one egg, very little bacon, and basically a plain pasta. At €15, you'd expect a well-made pasta; here, they're ripping you off. Embarrassing.

They aren’t following their opening times. We’ve got there at 6 p.m. and we were told that they are opening at 7 p.m. Also the staff was really rude.
