My family and I came for breakfast and Dang I am full! The plate sizes are very large and the food is very good. The Henny Penny appears to be a local favorite from what I could tell. The atmosphere is very family friendly and relaxed and the staff are all friendly. Every one at our table ordered something different and then we shared each others dishes so we could try the various dishes. From my perspective they were all very good. Now I want to try out their dinner options.

I can not recommend this place enough! Has great food for a great price! Topped with a charm of a rustic place! It is only a short detour from 101! You will not regret it! Cleanness: very clean Service: the day we were there they were super overwhelmed but still nice! Cost: very decent Menu diversity: there is some thing for everyone! Food: very good and tasty! Parking: plentiful Access: on a corner very few minutes off of 101 Seating: tables, booths, and bar seating

What an amazing place! We stopped here for lunch on our way to Mendocino and highly recommend stopping to everyone around the area! Its a cute little place that is family owned and run, the food served is graciously good portion and delicious! I tried their pesto chicken caprese sandwich and it was amazing! Each of their ingredients felt like they were homemade. The coffee was superb too!

I've been here a couple times now, and I love this place! They have a HUGE menu, so there should be something there for any person and any appetite, and their portions are big and prices reasonable (the breakfast I ordered included a side biscuit with gravy in addition to the giant omelette and potatoes pictured, for about $16)! The service staff was great the times I went also, very attentive and energetic and funny, which was nice too. It seems like a community favorite, and I can see why!

This is a solid 4. Completely solid. I love the diner atmosphere and the general cozy vibe as well as the food they offer here. Definitely recommend the Benedict if you want a savory sauce. Though, like all 4 star places, not all of their food was amazing. The quality is a lot better than Denny's but it's also not the greatest diner food imaginable. Price is similar to Denny's. The service was a bit slow, probably because there was exactly one server, but it wasn't the worst.

Pete’s Henny Penny does not disappoint. It’s a tiny local Sonoma County restaurant that is always busy and has great food. Waitstaff is friendly and hustling. Great eclectic mix of people eating here. Large portions on the food. I’d probably share a plate in the future. One of the best biscuits I’ve had at any restaurant, and I’ve eaten them all over the country. Highly recommend for breakfast or brunch.

I stopped by around 10am, on a Friday morning. It's definitely a busy business, their food is pretty tasty. The burritos are thick, and prices are reasonable. My friend ordered a veggie skillet plate, and a side of French toast, with drinks it came out to about $50.00 for a party of two. The one thing I didn't like was that customer service wasn't very personable. The waitresses that stopped by didn't introduce themselves. One asked about what drinks we wanted, the other took our order. I ignored it figured the receipt would include their name, but it only says Cashier 1. Either way it's worth a visit.

Yikes. I really wanted to like this place. Hair in my food after waiting over an hr. And was told “omg that’s scary. There’s hair in everything though” by the manager. That’s what’s scary.

I was hopeful walking in to see the first waitress being friendly with others sitting at the counter but short and irritated with me. The boy who dropped off my food was rude, stared at me and left without asking me if I needed anything else. My breakfast (omelette) wasn’t very flavorful and made me so uncomfortable after I thought I had food poisoning after. Bad gut bomb. It just wasn’t good quality for how expensive it was. Denny’s across the street is probably a safer bet.

Well I'll start off by saying I was excited to return to Henny considering I'd be in town for a concert and had been here once before, and really enjoyed it. It was Sunday morning around 10:30 so I of course expected it to be busy. I waited at the door for maybe five minutes (no problem there). I get seated at the counter with no menu, I figured someone would be coming by and see I have no menu and offer one,..nope. Five minutes into me just sitting there a woman stopped by and said ill be right with you,...five minutes later still no menu. So finally I got up and grabbed one myself. Starting to get somewhat annoyed I reminded myself that they are busy and to just be patient. About four minutes later another woman approached me asking if I'd like something to drink (finally someone noticed me just sitting there). Finally I got an iced tea but then I waited there another 10 minutes still nobody coming by to take my order. Deep breaths...lol...they are busy (I keep saying too myself). FINALLY (almost 25 minutes) after sitting down a gal noticed me and asked my waitress to take my order. Happy that someone noticed, I'm thinking okay this the last of my having to wait (wishful thinking). She takes my order, I order the smoked salmon benedict with my English muffin toasted crispy. I do that because the muffin tends to get soggy due to the water from the poached eggs. I also ordered one pancake. Yay, we are on our way. I sit back and read the news on my phone... about 10 minutes in I'm thinking okay where's my food? I look up and see another patron who sat down at the same time I did getting up to leave....now I'm seriously annoyed! Still another 10 minutes and FINALLY my food arrived. Ready to dig in my food is luke warm.....my poached eggs are so overcooked they are like they are like hard-boiled eggs. My English muffins are wet and undercooked. My pancake cold🤦‍♀️. She had just dropped off my food I stopped my waitress and asked her if she would get me a new pancake cuz mine was cold, she's like aren't you sure you don't want me to just heat it up in the microwave...now im officially angry...NO I WANT A FRESH ONE!!! I got halfway through the meal and just gave up. I went to the counter and told her I needed my check to pay my bill once again had to wait about 5 minutes. Worst experience ever!
