One of the staff member at Main Event ( Mr. Rogelio Rios) was super knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to assist in any way he could .It’s clear that he values his customers and works hard to create a positive experience. While it was answering the many questions I had and providing recommendations, I felt supported every step of the way. Thank you so much our church youth group had a blast. And you made the process so much easier for us.

Great place to take the kiddos to unwind and also games vary in age experience so everyone can play and have a good time. Wish they had more kitchen staff, bartenders and game attendants to make the experience just a little better and cut down on service lags. Burgers are great. Wish the food selection was better but you can’t go wrong with a burger. Prizes are nice and not too far fetched on ticket accumulation. Over all, it’s a good time for all!

Very different to years back. Limited games and the same games that cost 1 token at Chuck E Cheese like the white skii ball game thing cost 8+ at this place. $70 is a joke at this place. You won't have enough with $70 even though the games are limited in variety. Chuc E Cheese is WAY better in comparison and that is setting the bar close to the ground.

Waited by the host booth seriously about 10 minutes. Staff kept seeing me there waiting then ignored me and my son. After waiting for so long even my 7 year old asked my why no one was helping us. He went to get the waiter and told him we were just going to sit down so that we wouldn't be waiting anymore. The disappointing thing was the fact that so many staff and waiters looked at us and didn't come ask if we needed help or to be seated. Fried pickles were good, I got some wings and asked for them to be extra crispy. They weren't they were soggy. The place is cool to play and take the kids but the service in the restaurant area is horrid. Anyway skip out on that side of the place and you'll be ok.

We came to celebrate my girlfriends birthday and this was the first time any of us had been here and didn't know what to expect. We walked up to the desk and asked what kind of party packs they had since we were new and didn't know and we were just looked at like we were stupid and told just what they had on the board. Earlier in the day, we had looked at the website and saw they had party packs, so she showed them, and they said they couldn't do those. When we went to the dining area, we waited for 20 minutes before being seated. The servers kept looking our way and running off despite there only being 1 other group there. When we finally got seated, we weren't brought plates or napkins. The food was great but the service is horrible. We later did bowling, and the service there was worse. We asked for water, and the server there didn't even acknowledge that I had asked for anything he just made a face and walked away. 20 minutes later, he came back with the water but no straw and ran off before I could say anything. He never came back, and we had to flag someone down on the other end to help us, to which they just looked our way and then turned away. Overall, the service is absolute garbage and a complete joke for how expensive they are. Do not waste your money here.

Service was terrible. Everyone is young and does not care. To start off the bartender was texting the entire time someone went up and giving attitude. Would ignore you to send a text. When it came to the bowling section no waiter to be found so we had to go looking for one. When then the food takes almost 45 minutes to come out all COLD had to speak to the manager. Never AGAIN

If I could leave 0 star I would. Waited at the counter for 15 minutes and the girl with pink hair just looked at us with no sense of urgency to help. When asked if we can be helped she look away. Got over charged. Waited at the bar for another 15 mins didn’t get helped… waited at a table for 15 mins…. No HELP! Would never go again!

Went last night to celebrate my friends birthday paid a lot of money just to bowl for one hour we wanted to order food and drinks and have a good time after we paid the service went down we understood that it wasn’t the employees fault but we couldn’t order anything. They should of mentioned that we weren’t gonna be able to order anything for awhile while waiting for our lane I asked a manger for a refund manger told me there was nothing he could do for me as a manger somewhere else I would of offered another free hour or at least some fountain drinks on the house we did not have a great time at all

Food was great and the place looks like fun, however we got a lot issues with the bowling lanes. The bowling lanes were malfunctioning a lot; but the staff offered to move us to one that was working, but they moved us again to give priority to a previous booking (which we had also made). And... they moved us again because the technical problems persisted, which ruined the overall experience. The problems never stopped, although the staff was kind. They offered to compensate us for the food; however, they only gave us like 10% food discount. Frankly, that's not what I'd have done as the manager of a place.

Man was really hoping to take my daughter in december for her birthday but the way I'm reading these reviews, think it's better off I don't. Which sucks cuz i went yrs back once and it was a really cool place. And her birthday is on a friday so I know it will be packed.

I spent 285 for a small party of 7(10 with kids/baby). Had to have my server called sever times she seemed a little absent . Bowling counter was the only person being helpful! Management was more focused to leave than help out with the customers experience. I will not be returning here ever again for sure!

1st time coming to Main Event in Pharr and it'll be the last. We came early to beat the crowd but me and my wife grew inpatient with the service. While bowling we ordered a Big Super Fun Sunday with only 1 customer behind us. The cashier said it would take 5 minutes to make the donut holes which sounded fine. We waited 34 minutes for it, ridiculous. My kids wanted to play Laser Tag and get on the Gravity rope course. We talked to the employees and they said it was just 2 of them tending to the 3 areas (Gravity Ropes, Winner's Choice, and Arena 51). My kids were exited to come but found themselves bored waiting for employees to rotate from spot to spot. Stood at the Laser Tag line for at least 15 to 20 minutes. Then stood again for about 10 minutes to get on the Gravity course because 1 of the employees was stuck tending customers in the prize register. Me and my wife left frustrated with the long waits due to insufficient staffing. Beautiful and fun looking place but we won't be back. Management has to work on Speed of Service to keep their customers satisfied and entertained.
