We love this place! When we travel to Texas this is one of our must go to places. Alligator tail for starters and then steak and seafood for dinner with an awesome Texas sweet tea (or other adult beverages 😎). Always cooked exactly as requested, never a fishy smell, and all the food comes out together so that no one is waiting. Each time we have come in there has always been full tables yet the service wad expedient, on time, accurate, and friendly.
Very clean, good a service, and the food is always great. I've yet to have a bad meal. Very good for a day drink as well!
I love their blackened catfish! We always have great service here and the food is wonderful.
I just presented one of Papadeaux's employees with a well deserved gift. My wife and I were so pleasantly treated by her. Erica, may your days be as bright as your spirit.
Very good place to eat. Seniors get lunch hour price anytime and free desserts for birthdays. Food is very good.
We have never had a bad meal here. Super nice people on the waitstaff. The oysters are great if you like them.
Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen is a culinary delight that never fails to impress. Their grilled shrimp is a standout dish, offering a burst of flavors that tantalize the taste buds. The shrimp is cooked to perfection, maintaining a succulent and tender texture that is simply irresistible. But the experience at Pappadeaux extends beyond just the food. The atmosphere is inviting and the service is top-notch, making every visit a memorable one. The staff is attentive and professional, ensuring that all your needs are met promptly. The restaurant also offers a variety of other delicious seafood options, all of which are fresh and well-prepared. From the seafood platter to the Cobb salad with shrimp and crab meat, every dish is a testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality and taste. Despite being a bit on the pricey side, the food at Pappadeaux is worth every penny. It's not just a meal, but a fine dining experience that leaves you longing for your next visit. So whether you're a seafood lover or just looking for a great place to dine, Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen is a place you must try
I would give this place 6 stars if I could. My siblings and I had dinner there, 18 total. I called and reserved ahead of time and immediately received a text confirmation on that, received another reminder text when the table was ready. Arrived at the restaurant, my wife asked for some changes in the settings, the staff couldn’t be more accommodating, they took care of it immediately!! Sandra and Aldo were assigned to our group, both outstanding young folks; attentive, prompt, accommodating, friendly and patient. Food portions were more than sufficient. Salmon Alexander, Tilapia and Jumbo Shrimp, Pasta, Coconut Shrimp were all delicious. I live 700 miles from that restaurant and these 2 fine young people made my day!! Thank you!!
Can't go wrong here! Got the Cobb salad with shrimp and crab meat, and it always delivers! Salad is a tad pricey at $27. I think it was $15+ a few years ago, but it's worth having it once in a while. I use the Greek dressing on it instead of the sweet one it comes with. Freshness here is always on point! Highly recommended it for special occasions or just to grab a noce lunch/dinnner.
My third time was a charm with the dip and garlic bread. The Crem bruleau was excellent just don't know if I spelled it right. Definitely recommend
Came out for an early dinner and had a very enjoyable time. The food was great and so was the service. The oysters were fresh, the bread was warm, and entrees were perfect. Our party had the grouper, trout and crab, grilled shrimp, and Pappadeaux platter. The cheesecake was delicious too and a nice ending to our meal.
For the price of the food I expected more! The appetizer of fried octopus and calamari was good, the house salad was ok but the main course was a pasta dish with octopus in wine sauce had no taste to it at all. The server was very attentive and awesome but for the price and flavors, I wouldn't go again.
A couple weeks late but food was delicious as always, wait time for was minimal (we had a birthday reservation) and staff were friendly and helpful
Great customer service great food great place for meetings, work meetings and to have dinner with your loved ones
our server Ray was very attentive. The salmon was cooked very well. The ambience is nice and festive.
Food was amazingly delicious! Service was excellent! Waiter Adrian was 100! Late lunch at 3 PM was perfect. Not too many peeps. We chose plates on front of menus, were $40 a plate but soooo worth it! Salmon was yummy but the Red Snapper was THE BEST DISH EVER!!! and this comes from someone who loves seafood and eats out a lot! CONGRATS!!
The service is always friendly and knowledgeable. The food is delicious. The prices match the ambient. A special occasion is when we go . But if your budget alows this would be a very decadent lunch or dinner option... Big hugs to the staff, if any of y'all read this . Thank you for a wonderful time ☺️
Good atmosphere and good service. Got the seafood platter and alligator bites and they were fresh. They where made to order. The server was quick and even gave us a freebie dessert. I highly recommend trying this place out. Request a window table and enjoy your meal with natural sunlight. Dessert was good and was presented with a cheesecake. Prices will be high but expect that from a good place.
Enjoyed a delicious meal at Pappadeaux during our last visit to RGV. Definitely worth a stop, great fish and seafood, excellent service and nice selection of wine.
Expensive but prolly the place for good seafood options. Service has always been attentive and professional. I will say food is more on the salty side so definitely attention this to your waiters about easing of the salt if your on a low sodium diet. The crispy salmon and scallop entree was great!!! Been awhile I had salmon that tasty and the scallops were on point. Seafood Cobb salad all time favorite.
Some of the best seafood we have had in some time! Only exceeded by the fantastic service by Delon. What wonderfully fresh food prepared so perfectly and served with profesional service by Delon. Thank you for a great evening of fine dining!!
Good food. I was disappointed we had to ask our waiter 3 times for cream for my wives coffee. The tap water was nasty, so he brought us bottled water.
Can’t go wrong with this whole restaurant franchise. I have never been disappointed no matter what city I visit them in. During this visit the staff was exceptional. They were on cue with all requests to the point we were wondering if they were right around the corner just waiting on us to need something. The food was exceptional as well. We ordered a 6lb lobster that we named Henry. Henry came out in several plates due to his size. Henry was enjoyed by all and had plenty of leftovers. Henry will forever be remembered. I definitely recommend and will visit again. Next time maybe Henry Jr. will be available.
Always great dining here. I stopped by here during lunch and found the staff extremely friendly, and literally no wait. I opted for the Seafood Cobb salad with the shrimp and crab. I thouroughly enjoyed! ...so this is a follow up to my original post. A good pal of mine and I stopped by last Friday(09/27) and sat at the bar where I enjoyed the coldest Stella from the draft and started my dining experience with a dozen of freshlu shucked oysters, a small order of calamari and a small order of the alligator! The paired with an ice cold Stella from the draft, hit the spot! I movee onto an awesome bowl of shrimp gumbo, then dined on a small order of fried shrimp(I asked them to lay these on a bed of dirty rice) and noticed a soft I'd never seen before...Truffle potatoes, so I tried them and they did not disappoint! Dining at the bar , the mixologists checked on me and kept my drinks cold! Stop by Pappadeaux's In Pharr(right off of I-2) and give them a try!
A nice place to enjoy your meal with friends, arrived noon, not a lot of people yet, by the time we left, around 2, it was packed. Oyster was so fresh, octopus yummy, and all dishes were great, one of the best seafood restaurants in valley. Definitely we will come back again. You will pay what you get.
We haven't been able to go because this place is always full, so we decided to go on 4th of July and it was not full. Perfect date to go. We ordered the Pappadeaux Seafood platter.. sorry, didn't get any pictures, but it was perfect for two adults and 1 child. The food was delicious. For our appetizers we got the roasted oysters which were pretty good. I will get the raw ones next time. For dessert we got the turtle brownie with icecream. That was delicious as well. With our appetizer, our platter, dessert, 1 beer, 1 tea, 1 lemonade it was less than $100 and was worth the price. We will be coming again and trying out own plates next time :) 2nd Review: Came for husbands birthday on Saturday. Sat down immediately, had an amazing waiter and we tried the Mardi Gras pasta w/ no sausage for me [ I don't eat meat] and my husband got the stuffed jumbo shrimp wrapped in bacon. My son wanted fried catfish w/white rice as his side and we got the calamari and octopus appetizer. My dish was like 2 entrees. My husband also brought home a good portion of his dish . Everything was amazing and we will be back again.
Thought we were just going out to eat Friday after thanksgiving before we all went our separate ways until next year. This place is a happy food memory maker. Starting at the entrance, the atmosphere is inviting and meticulously maintained. Like you’re entering a 5 star oceanfront restaurant on the gulf coast or the northeast ( I’m from Rhode Island). The entire staff must use the same dry cleaner because each staff member was professionally dressed in crisp clean black and white attire, all well groomed with big warm smiles to boot. The dining room areas would pass any Martha Stewart white glove inspection. I started with raw oysters that seemed to have been freshly plucked from a clear blue ocean, served on a spectacular shaved ice platter, surgically shucked to retain the oyster liquor and served with some amazing assortment of the chefs accouterments to spice em up as you see fit. I ordered Crispy skin red fish with fried oysters and braised collard greens. The fish was cooked with precision of time and temperature…not a single scale on the plate, the crisp delicious skin covering the perfect texture of such a scrumptious fish. The collards were equally delightful to the bite and taste. Plus the chef’s own tartar sauce…I did not leave one cell of the entire meal on that plate (sopped it up with thier fresh baked bread). Believe it or not, I was able to wash that all down with a way too big slice of the most delicious pecan pie, with a scoop of what seemed to be homemade vanilla ice cream, and a medium roast robust cup of black coffee. Needless to say the family gathering, which would normally be a cordial conversation of family affair, was consumed by the descriptive dialogue of the memory making enjoyment we were experiencing in our dining out delight. It was like we had two thanksgiving dinners in two days. An absolute pleasure Pappadeaux! Thanks for the memories. Next time I am in McAllen I’ll definitely be there to eat with whoever is available. An amazing white cloth napkin dining experience 👍❤️
Amazing dining service!! My first time coming here with my family and all the dishes looked amazing. Our waiter was helpful and patient in helping us with the menu options. Prices were listed decently according to the seafood offered. Best part was the brownie dessert. I would definitely come here again for special occasions!
Omg the food is delicious. We had a lady named Karma as our waitress and she gave us the best service ever. Everything is made from scratch so you do have a bit of waiting for your food but is so worth it. The place is big has enough sitting and the tables are well spaced out to where you don't feel crowded.
We had such a great experience at Pappadeaux! The food was delicious, the service was amazing, and the atmosphere was perfect for a nice outing. I especially want to thank Daina, who is an incredible manager. She was always present, checking on us, and making sure we had everything we needed. Her kindness and professionalism truly made our visit even better. You can tell she really cares about her guests and her team.
First time dinner at this place on my bday with my husband. We enjoyed everything including the food. We will be returning again soon that you for the great service.
The only reason I plan to come back is because of Michael Soto, he is so knowledgeable of the menu and because of my allergies he let me know the options available for me. Was extremely patient and understanding. Michael Soto was absolutely wonderful, attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. Truly made our dining experience even better. Truly the highlight of the night!
Even though we spent here nice time celebrating family event, It isn't precisely expensive but worth and value plus experience, at least once a year with meticulous savings through the year in order the enjoy a place unique in Rio Grande Valley TX and surrounding cities, I mean a true privilege to be here. 6⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, yeap! A plus rating as well.
My husband and I dined here to celebrate a very important event. We were greeted by a cheerful staff, we were led to our table. Immediately we were served our drinks, and our server Dorothy took our order. The whole time was very pleasant, and I must say we were wowed by Dorothy and her exceptional service. Not only efficient, but friendly and above all she made us feel very welcomed. Dorothy went above and beyond customer service, very genuinely down to earth. I recommend Dorothy as a server, you won't be disappointed 🙂!
Going to Pappadeaux’s is more than just going to a restaurant, it’s an event! The food, the ambiance is so unique. Portions are enough for 2 people so my wife and I usually split something. It can be a little pricy but well worth it! Our favorite is the crawfish combo with fried and étouffée crawfish. Plus we always get the Greek salad! We had a big group with us so I got to taste their salmon, lobster and fried shrimp! Amazingly good. Pappadeaux’s is our favorite celebration location!
I come to this location once a week and it was my first time sitting at the side of the bar area. Right away our server, Michael Soto (Mikey), welcomed us and made us feel at home. I have been here many time but have never experienced exceptional service the way I have experienced it tonight. He was very attentive and I really felt like he cared about us and any food allergies we may have. He gave us insight of the kitchen and how the food is made and recommended great options for us to eat. Excellent service and from now on, I will only ask for him when I visit this location.
Hands down Jade provided some of the best service I have ever gotten in a restaurant. She was hospitable and very friendly without being overbearing. She was fast, efficient and so pleasant to deal with. The food and drink was great and the dessert to celebrate finding the dress was perfect. I would definitely request to be seated in her section again.
Pappadeaux has always been my go to place for Cajun seafood. I wish I could remember the waitresses name but she did an outstanding job. This was probably one of the best servers I've ever had in the many years that I've been going to Pappadeaux. The food was excellent no matter what you order. The cocktails are very well made not too strong and not too weak. I'll probably make this my official go to Pappadeaux when I'm in town. The prices to me are reasonable for what you get no complaints there.
02/05/26 - 8:30ish pm Calamari (not shown) - Excellent as always with a very light breading and great dipping sauces . Bread and butter (not shown) The bread is usually very good here as was the case tonight. I’m not sure where they source it from but it is always crispy and warm and chewy, which is all the things that you love about a good French bread. Salmon Alexander - So the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is not because of the flavors, staff or experience, as they were all top notch, which is usual for Pappadeaux’s, I only gave 4 stars for the food due to the presentation. Mind you, the food came out a lot faster than I expected, which shows that the kitchen was working very quickly, which is a good thing, but the presentation was a bit sloppy (I even tried to “Clean up” the plate before taking photos) as you can still see the rice was kind of spooned on the plate, the shrimp, crawfish, and scallops were just kind of thrown on top, and the garnish was kind of off to the side, and even the fork holding the lemon was in the sauce. I know it sounds like I’m being overly critical, but if just a few seconds of attention was given to the plating, this would’ve been a full or five stars. Crème Brûlée - even though I was stuffed, for some reason this sounded so good to me and it was an excellent way to finish an excellent meal. It was not overly sweet, but quite refreshing due to the medley of berries that it was served with. I don’t know if I’ve ever tasted fresher, berries, but that touch sent this desert to the next level. Even though it’s a simple thing, because it was done so right, it made it something great. My server Audrey (Rec 192) made my experience an excellent one, as she was very attentive and not overbearing, and made me feel very welcome and cared for. Highly recommend this location.
I changed up my order today. I ended up having a blackened salmon Cesar salad. Cooked to a perfect medium. It was so delicious. Rachel was our waitress and she was great! Although we were all stuffed we decided to split this delicious dessert 5 ways. A spoonful or two did the trick. I believe it was called a turtle chocolate brownie topped with vanilla ice cream. Perfection. Until the next time.
2-6-26 This wasn't our first choice for lunch, but since the other was packed, we made a spur of the moment choice, and boy were we glad we did. Pappa's is a little pricey, but you get your money's worth here. Wife ordered the lunch Fried Shrimp with fries. She got 12+ shrimp, and a plate full of fries. It came with tarter, cocktail sauce and catchup. I ordered lunch Mississippi Catfish and Shrimp Etouffee with dirty rice. The Etouffee came with 6 shrimp. I mixed the sauce into the rice. The Blackened Catfish was a large fillet and spiced to perfection. It was too much food, so I shared half the catfish with my wife, and we carried out her fries. All of the food was perfect. The fried shrimp was lightly coated, the fries were hot, and it may have been the best etouffee I have ever had. The waiter was on top of things the entire meal, filling our glasses at half empty, and offered to go cups as he brought the bill. We will certainly return
Pappadeaux was a good experience overall. I really liked the food and the service; everything we ordered was well prepared, flavorful, and came out in a timely manner. The staff was attentive without being overwhelming, which always makes a difference. The only thing I didn’t love was the menu. It doesn’t have pictures, and the descriptions are pretty long and complex. A lot of the dishes sound very similar on paper, so it’s a bit hard to tell what really sets each one apart. It made choosing more difficult than it needed to be, especially if you’re not already familiar with the cuisine. Aside from that, though, I enjoyed the meal and would definitely go back.
Really good food and expertly cooked shrimp. Great date spot with ambiance and large selection of Really good food. I was hesitant on their gumbo on the first bite because it was so watery and I like thick gumbo, but it was delicious. Alligator bites were tender and the sauce was tasty on them. Cajun pasta and garlic bread were top notch...only suggestion would be to add parmesan to it to make it fantastic.
We came here to celebrate New Years Eve last night. We sat at the bar and Jimena was our bartender. Jimena is a TOTAL PRO at what she does and took great care of us and others, no matter how busy she got! She saw our drinks were low and asked if we needed another, she did the same for others at the bar too. She made sure my husband's special food request was to his liking and our food came out in good time hot and delicious! Thank you Jimena for being great at your job and for making our NYE so enjoyable! Happy New Year to you and Pappadeauxs!
Awesome mardigras style dishes. This is a seafood delight. I've eaten here around 6 or 7 times and have never been disappointed. It is spendy, but still it's the fact they're delivering the whole package, service, great food and atmosphere.
Great experience overall! The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. It was my first time going, and they even surprised me with a free dessert, which was super awesome. I would definitely come back, it is a bit on the expensive side, but worth it for a nice treat.
This place has amazing service. I had thrown my mother a surprise birthday dinner here last weekend and everything went perfect! Our waitress was a blonde girl named Gabby (I hope that’s how it’s spelled) she was so kind, and patient with everything and everyone. She did an excellent job with making sure the whole dinner went accordingly. This girl deserves recognition for her hard work and dedication!😇👍🏼
We were helped by Manager Daina Hunter, and she was absolutely amazing. She was so kind and made sure our order was perfect. Her service went above and beyond our expectations. The atmosphere was a 10/10! We will definitely be coming back. If you get helped by Daina, you’re going to love the experience.
Amazing food and excellent service! I had dinner at the bar and ordered the grilled oysters and the Texas Redfish Pontchartrain with dirty rice, absolutely phenomenal! The oysters were perfectly grilled and packed with flavor, and the redfish was cooked to perfection, topped with a rich, savory sauce that paired beautifully with the dirty rice. Every bite was memorable. Big shoutout to Myah and Jac, who took care of me at the bar. They were incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout my meal. Their service really elevated the entire experience. If you’re in Pharr, Texas down in the Rio Grande Valley and craving top quality seafood, Pappadeaux is a must. I’ll definitely be back!
Been here several times, always great. This time we ordered the Grouper with Jumbo Crab and the Red Snapper with Jumbo Crab (with fries instead of the spinach). Both were full of flavor and delicious! Grouper was a little spicy, which was not expecting, but nothing extreme. Recommend both dishes.

I don't normally eat seafood so the server helped me to pick something out. She picked a winner. The drinks were tasty and the ambiance was nice.
A little pricey, but so worth it. Ask your server for special drink orders they have a great bar. The food is good and nice ambience great place to celebrate a birthday.
Their Raw Oysters never disappoint. We love their Seafood cob salad. Trout is without fail. Crawfish is always delicious. Bread service is too good.
Consistently delicious food with a professional staff. My fav is the greek salad, soft shell crab and red snapper fish entrees.

My comfort food in McAllen, love their seafood cobb salad. My favorite of all time is their baked potato, fully loaded. Service is always friendly here

Food was great but to my liking my plate it was a little cold, I didn't say anything because I was hungry, you would think that for a $50 plate to be on point. Service was a little slow, we got seated and waited about 8/10 mics before they brought the menu, restaurant wasn't packed so not sure why this happened.
I took my wife to Pappadeaux for our Anniversary, it wasn't my first choice, but because our first choice gave us no service, we opted to come here. The place was filled, with only a few tables available. Once seated, my wife ordered a Pina colada and I ordered my usual unsweetened tea, we also ordered Calamari for an appetizer. When our server brought the Calamari we then placed our order. First, the Greek salad for two, my wife ordered the tenderloin steak with a baked potato and broccolini. I ordered the blackened Salmon with Shrimp, Scallops, and crawfish. Trying the calamari, it was rubbery and the breading was falling off as we ate it, tho the tomato sauce that came with it was pretty good. Then came the salad which was dressed and served table side. It was a very good salad and I loved the capers and olives. I was looking for the Greek peppers but none were included. After the salad came the massive plates of our entrees. My Salmon looked awesome and was cooked on point, so was the Shrimp and Scallops, and the sauce was absolutely delicious. It paired so wonderfully with the rice. It was called dirty rice but it lacked the traditional chicken livers that made this rice so famous. My wife's steak came with a huge baked potato and a big pile of perfectly cooked broccolini but her steak was way undercooked. I tried to wave a server down to take the steak and recook it, I then went to both arms waving, trying to get a server's attention. One waitress looked at me waving but ignored me, probably because I was not her table. I kept waving, a kitchen manager (I assume) walked by but didn't see me. Luckily a guest two tables down got his attention for me. He then came over to our table, he offered to do a new steak but I knew it would take to long. Instead we put the steak on a small plate so he could cook it again. I shared my plate with my wife so she could continue to enjoy our Anniversary dinner together. When he returned my wife's eyes just beamed with contentment when she saw how cooked it looked. The way to avoid this is, the server should have asked my wife to please cut into the steak, thus ensuring it has been properly cooked before leaving the table, or at least return promptly to check and see if it was cooked to her linking. We also had asked for bread, it arrived halfway through the meal. Our server did do a good job of keeping my tea glass full. The experience started out great but fell short on service and execution during the entree part of it. We did get to choose a free dessert for our Anniversary, that was nice. We opted for the Key Lime pie, we took it to go. Too stuffed to eat another bite. Honestly Folks, I liked my Salmon plate so much, I ordered extra sauce halfway through, and I left my plate completely wiped clean. I used the bread that finally arrived to clean every bit of the sauce on the plate. Feels weird writing about me pigging out, but it is true as true can get. I look forward to my next visit.
First time at this restaurant. Food was good, virgin piña colada perfect. I’d definitely recommend the fondeaux as an appetizer. If you don’t eat much then don’t get an appetizer. The food portion is big, expect to pay over $100 for two meals including an appetizer, two dinner plates, drinks and a dessert. Dessert was great too, crème brûlée was perfect. Casual or business casual attire. It is family friendly ish… I saw maybe one kid but I’d say it felt more like an environment for adults.
I love this restaurant. The food is fresh and delicious. My favorite is the Cobb salad with salmon, which at medium rare is divine. The ambiance is perfect for a family dinner, although if your family members are hearing impaired, it can get very loud & difficult to hear. The staff are incredibly professional and friendly. Despite being very busy today, they did a decent job of keeping our drinks filled. The kitchen made my food incorrectly but it was still delicious. I have to say that I was disappointed that they did not try to make it right in some way; that is why this is a 4 star instead of a 5 star review. PS - Please bring back the banana pudding. It was one of our favorites!
As always the quality of food at Pappadeaux’s was exceptional. Unfortunately, our service today was disappointing. The server, Alejandro T., was very. lackadaisical. He took about 5 minutes to greet us once we were seated. Then another took 10 minutes for him to return to take our order. During this 10 minutes we observed him conversing with any employee who came into his sphere. Food was delivered by a runner; however, our server never came back to check if our food was ok or if we needed anything. We had to go up to the bar, where he was socializing with the bartender, to request refills on our drinks. He still did not check if our food was ok. Though we haven’t been to a Pappadeaux’s restaurant for 6 months, we were surprised at how the menu had been pared down. Our favorite appetizer of boudin was no longer available. 😟
Wonderful service by Gabby. Food was delicious, but the more you ate the heavier the seasoning was. I had the steak and added shrimp brochette and couldn't finish the brochette due to the saltiness. My wife's red snapper was awesome to say the least. I was upset that they no longer carry halibut, but was happy with the snapper.
I haven’t had an entrée I didn’t enjoy, the food always has so much flavor and the portions are plenty. The service is helpful and attentive as well. My only complaint would be the ladies room was dirty… to the point of it being mentioned multiple times but other women in the bathroom and at my table.. there was actually smeared fecal matter on the floor
Food was a little salty, but plentiful, fresh and cooked just right. The place is clean and inviting. I've been a big fan of Pappadeaux for years and love to visit when I'm in the area.
Anniversary dinner. Made reservations. First table offered was between 2 families with kids. Request a more private table was placed right next to bathroom door. After seeing 2 other tables seated and drinks. Went to hostess station and asked for. A server. Normally service is top notch this time. Not so
It's always good to eat out at this restaurant, especially if you do not have one in your area. Great family oriented environment, and the service is amazing. Thank you guys for keeping up with your high standards of great taste as well as customer service.

I order an 8oz glass of wine. Got 4oz. Did not want to make a fess since it was our daughter's birthday. For dinner, I ordered a plate that was on front of menu book, and I ask the waitress how ma…
I was here for happy hour. It is only available at the bar and I had to ask my waiter if they still offered it. I ordered the calamari and octopus, the octopus tastes like it has started to go bad, but the calamari was very good. The sauces that came with it were both good. Their happy hour beer is Michelob on draft and it is either an old keg or they have dirty draft lines. It tasted like sweet green apple with notes of cardboard, which is a common off flavor for light lagers not stored properly or past it’s prime. I also had the knife and fork salad with shrimp and crab. The salad was too salty and a few pieces of the shrimp and crab tasted not fresh, but besides that the salad was fine. Waiter was friendly but not very attentive, I drank a lot of water due to the salty salad and it took him a long time to refill my water. The restaurant was too cold for my comfort. The outside seating looks pretty and would be nice on a cooler day. Overall not terrible but could have been better.
Just left the restaurant. Service was not good👎, Waitress barely came to the table only to take our order an never saw her again. She did not check on us for drink refills or anything. We got drink refills from different waiter didnt get his name but was nice an I couldn't find him but would gave him tip even if he wasn't our waiter. We came here to because its our favorite restaurant and wanted to celebrate a birthday here and this was not a great start for it. Food was great, the chefs always do great job 👍
We went on Sunday; unfortunately, it’s not what it used to be. The menu has changed a lot, and there are few options if you don’t eat seafood, like my husband. They no longer offer onion rings (even though they did before), the mashed potatoes were watery—almost like grits, the bread was hard, and my dish only came with three small shrimp and the wrong sauce. The glazed carrots were just boiled carrots with chopped pistachios on top. My husband ordered a ribeye, which tasted like the steak was frozen and had not been grilled. Overall, it was disappointing, and we didn’t even feel like ordering dessert. The rice you see in the picture was supposed to be dirty.

So overpriced and not good. Deep fried king crab with breading?? Ugh! 20 burger?? No thanks.
Our food was cold. This is our number one favorite restaurant for seafood. But I just don't recommend it when it's super busy.
Amazing service, spectacular food, fantastic atmosphere! Will most definitely be dining in this fine establishment again. 5 stars all around! Update: The very next morning after dinner had food poisoning... Can't argue it was from other source as I hadn't had anything to eat prior to meal here. Don't know if source was catfish, crawfish, oysters, shrimp, stuffed shrimp, or stuffed crab. Regardless, this establishment went from 5 stars to zero. Will never go there again, wouldn't recommend to anyone.
Had a terrible experience with service. We were there for more than half an hour. We were offered bread by 3 attendents which none came with the bread it took them 18 minutes to bring the drinks. We placed the ordered at that time. After 30 minutes we decided to leave. We asked to cancel our order and the manager charged us the full amount including the food that was never served. o asked her why I was been charged that amount and she said she didn’t know that we where not served. Terrible service from manager and attendants. Not going back and would advise my family about this terrible experience.
