Passing through Phelps on a Sunday evening, this was one of the only places open to eat. So glad we stopped. The burgers were AMAZING!. Onions rings were so tasty. Heaping plate of tater tots. Excellent flurry and soft serve. The staff was friendly and the place has a home-town feel. Cannot wait to return!

I was working in the area and used to pass this place every day on my route I had a little extra time one day to stop so happy I did the plates are amazing plenty of food and for a great price 5 stars are not enough for this place I wish I lived closer I would eat here all the time

This spot replaced a run of the mill ice cream shop and and came up with a totally new concept. The food quality has increased exponentially and the ice cream is phenomenal. They are keeping their source close to the vest but I can tell you its not local. The accent is definitely on the cream(y). As for the food, the loaded hamburgers are world class with a bun that just makes the experience over the top. They have the fries that I love with the little blisters and just the right amount of crispy. The entire menu is at the same level as is the friendly service. Bring your family once and it will be a regular destination. Oh, and they have air conditioned dine-in availability on those days that are just too hot. And the last time I was there and if my eyes don't deceive me they are in the midst of making a drive up spot. Locally this is just not available. Grab and go!!

UPDATE 09/24/24 - Seems as the portions are back to normal as I’ve gone back 3 times since my first review in June 2024 - back on my good list! Moved close to Phelps late 2023 and we went here several times for soft ice cream and it was great! Portions were very generous & tasty for ice cream. Went back several times in 2024 and it was totally the opposite as soft ice cream portions are now VERY SKIMPY! I ordered a large in a dish and a small in a dish. The small portion looked about the same as my large. I previously ordered the “Gooney” size and for $2.00+ more than a large and it wasn’t a good deal. The portion wasn’t much more than a large. Not to mention they raised the price on the “Gooney” portion big time. After 3 visits in 2024 where we got skimpy portions of soft ice cream we are all done! Going to “Zoe’s” on Route 96 & 332 in Farmington. Soft ice cream is outstanding there and portions are consistently big per the size ordered.

Stopped in last Tuesday. Met a friend for early supper. Burgers , fries, onion rings, were awesome. Eat outside if possible. The dining area is nice, but acoustics are a challenge. Another party came in with 2 extremely loud boys age 5, I would say. Parents let them run, and scream the entire time. When I was young I would have loved an ice cream treat. Not sure why they did not take boys outside. So rude to other diners. You will love the food and friendly staff. I'll be back. It was my first visit, from Canandaigua.

Edit: I lowered the stars on this because I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich was not grilled. It was toasted. I was highly disappointed in this. Maybe I'd they changed the way they make their grilled cheese or take it off their board then I'll be willing to up the star. Very good place to go for a quick burger or .. ice cream. They have done well here and try to accommodate. They were able to make me a to go banana split even though they didn't have one specific for the ice cream. The people are nice and polite. Even during rush hour. Just remember if you come between 4-6 there will be a wait!!

My husband and I went there a couple of times this summer. I love how they had vegan options, not everywhere does. Their vegan twists were good, but I do NOT recommend the Impossible Burger. Both times, the Impossible Burger was red and cold. My husband had a beef burger and he said it seemed like it was not fresh. The service wasn't great either. The staff definitely seemed like they didn't want to be there both times.

This was my first time visiting your business and it was my last! Not happy at all. I ordered 2 pizza burgers, 2 fries and 2 sundaes. The girl at the window asked if it was TO GO and I said yes then I asked if they were making the sundaes now and she said yes that the food would only take 5 minutes. Well your employee was so wrong!!!! I got my sundaes right away and WAITED 15 MINUTES FOR THE FOOD. Needless to say on a hot humid day my sundaes melted all over my car. And the fries were so salty and overcooked. WILL NOT RECOMMEND YOUR BUSINESS AND WILL NOT BE BACK!!

The kids working behind the counter DO NOT know how to take direction. I ordered a caramel sundae with Butterfinger prices, never got the buttersfingers. Person with me ordered mint chocolate chip with m&ms, Didn't get the M&ms, and last but not least we ordered a hot fudge sundae with chocolate ice cream, and had to remind them to make the last sundae only to receive vanilla ice cream instead of chocolate. We had to have them remake the dishes. The Kids behind the counter need to be retrained in listening.
