The Prime Rib - Philadelphia Live!

Larry (Manager), thank you for everything. This is our second time here. Tonight, the food and service was tremendous. The specialty drinks were spot on (Spritzer and Manhattan). The appetizers were really good (East And West Coast Oysters), house salad, and a Crab Cake (that was all crabmeat) and very tasty. The entries consisted of a 8oz Filtet Mignon, and a 16oz New York Strip steak. The sides were Truffle Mac & Cheese, along with loaded Broccoli Mac & Cheese. Tonight's dessert with chocolate Godiva cake along with cappuccinos.

Great wine, amazing service, incredible food. Never had a filet better than the one I had at Prime Rib. My husband ordered the prime Rib, and it was big enough to feed the lions at the zoo. The wine was exotic and delicious. There is so much to choose from. Beautiful atmosphere, and both nights we were the had live music.

Come here to celebrate my husband's birthday before we went to a Phillies game. A friend recommended this and I wasn't sure....but wow. Was the perfect spot. I made reservations just to be sure so that we could eat and then walk over to the game, but we honestly walked in when it opened at 4:30 and it was cool. The service was amazing! Thank you Marco! The food was amazing we ordered apps and extra sides and had enough for dinner the next day. Portions were great. Had the oysters Rockefeller for app and we both ordered different steaks both cooked perfectly. For our sides: mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, roasted Brussels sprouts, sautéed spinach.....all really really good. Our drinks were great too! Would definitely recommend 👌🏽

Top notch steak restaurant. Definitely will put a dent in your pocket but it is well worth the meat. First time going to a really nice and fancy steak house and they sure do things differently. The waiting staff was a team. One person on drinks, one person for special accommodations, and one person taking orders. All were on top of it and provided great service. They even have a free ice cream scoop with sparkle to my kid who's birthday was the next day, even though we passed on the dessert. One thing that stood out was the different knives they showed us for us to use with our prime ribs we got. It made sense but I didn't really think about different steak knives for different cuts of steak. I had the middle rare prime rib and it was huge and delicious. Most of the steaks are ~$50+ and the Mkt price ones were ~$130 when I went. The steaks do not come with any sides unless it says otherwise. Like the burger came with the fries. Each side had enough for about 2-3 people and was ~$15. They were delicious as well. Ended up taking the sides home since we had a lot. Well worth checking out this restaurant if you are looking for a high quality and fancy meal. Definitely not a place to go weekly but worth going for an anniversary or any celebration.

Highly recommend! My husband & i decided on a whim to go here for our anniversary. Phenomenal is really the only word I can think of! The food was excellent! The service was stellar!

First time had breakfast at the Prime Rib since not all locations offer breakfast. This Philadelphia location inside Live casino offers a much brighter interior style, given it is newer of course & main entrance located right by the hotel check in and elevators. Staff were friendly and very efficient when come to taking orders and bring anything additional you need. Breakfast menu is very simple, a - one - pager, but has all the essentials. & Delicious.

Everything about this place is perfection! The service was excellent and made us feel like royalty. The ambiance is sexy, and the seating was super comfortable. The food was far exceeded my expectations, everything was so fresh and flavorful and the portions were colossal. I highly recommend the lobster bisque it’s the best I’ve ever had, as well as the prime rib.

Great ambiance. I went to celebrate my birthday, the staff was very attentive and the food was delicious. We had oysters, steak, the mac and cheese and the Rockefeller oysters. The lady who was singing and playing the piano sang happy birthday to me ☺️

I had an incredible date night there over the weekend! The food, ambience, and vibe was relaxed, regal, and romantic! The service was top-tier and friendly, you really feel like an A-list celebrity the moment you enter. I was surprised by how much of an escape it is from the liveliness of the casino near by. For those who think they can't find a different dining atmosphere inside of a casino/hotel, this is it! Highly recommended!

Syani was great, drinks were on point amazing Lemon Drops! She was able to attend to each one of us when we visited from CocoLife.Black for our Givers Giving night! Very attentive and friendly will be back

On the remarkable occasion of my grandmother’s 90th birthday (and my mother’s 64th!), we followed a memorable night on the slots with an incredible breakfast at Prime Rib. And though the food and atmosphere were all superb, we are most grateful to our server, Joy, who was a gem, a treat and, well, an absolute joy. (Cliché, but really!) Without a reservation, Joy took such care of our party (particularly our birthday ladies!) and was a true highlight of our time at Live. Thank you to Joy and the entire staff at Prime Rib!

My sister and I came to visit from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, for a concert and we booked a reservation. The service was phenomenal, special thanks to Nicole, MaKenna, and Richey. The food was great. The drinks were awesome. We can’t wait to come back and visit again. 10 out of 10 highly recommend this restaurant.

My favorite place in the city the food is amazing and the service is fantastic James the bartender is the place I sit and the Manger Anni is awesome and always checking on how the dinner is very nice touch . Crab cakes are my favorite and the short rib is delicious. Just yummy ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We were there on a Saturday night for a belated birthday dinner and were not disappointed. Excellent menu and while it is a steakhouse, seafood options were plentiful. The lobster imperial and Chilean sea bass were excellent. Friendly waiter made great suggestions. Food is on the pricey side, but The Prime Rib is worth it for special occasions.

While the food was absolutely fantastic and no doubt our reason for going, I must say our server Brianna completely made the experience! She was beyond helpful and personable. Having not only great food but a server who is genuinely pleasant and interacts with you more than just the bare minimum is what makes to over all experience enjoyable. Highly recommend this restaurant and will be requesting Brianna again in the future.

My best friend and I came for happy hour, and Brandon was the absolute best! We tried the oysters, champagne, fries, and shrimp—everything was delicious. Brandon was attentive, fun, and made sure we had a memorable experience. What he didn’t know is that my best friend had just lost her mother. Even without knowing, his kindness and care brought comfort and made our evening truly special. Thank you, Brandon, for making us feel so cared for during such a difficult time.

We had a great experience for our anniversary. Kamal addressed our needs and provided excellent recommendations and service. Overall, very happy.

Fantastic breakfast experience! The food was very good and the service was outstanding. Joy took great care of us — friendly, attentive, and a pleasure to have as our server.

Our bartender, Syani, was incredible. I was there for a private event today and she took really good care of everyone in our party. The drinks she made were superb. And her hospitality was second to none.

The food was very good and our server Juan was excellent. We had a gift certificate from a fundraiser but we enjoyed it so much we decided we will return at some point. The service was outstanding! My only concern is the cost. It is quite expensive so it has to be a special occasion place.

We went for a birthday celebration. Nicole was our waitress and she was superb. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The food was exceptional. We had a salad, surf and turf, with mashed potatoes and carrots. Then Nicole brought a small chocolate cake with a sparkler for dessert. We will definitely go back!!! Thank you

My Husband and I came here for our 14th Wedding Anniversary and our Servers were Kamal and Juan. Both of them made our experience memorable. I highly recommend this place for any event or occasion. Kamal been our Server for years and he is so pleasant and knowledgeable of the menu. My Husband and I absolutely love him and come to this place because of him. I highly recommend this place and had an amazing experience. Kamal made sure he celebrated our Anniversary and made it special.

This was my first time at Live Casino and The Prine Rib. Our bartender/ server Brandon made our experience warm, fun and memorable. His service acumen was way above any normal standard! From the curated cocktails to fare pairings, and suggestions he offered— made the greatest first impression! Most of all, his attention to detail made my birthday phenomenal! I will be returning here to indulge soon!

Great venue with close proximity to several sporting events. Perfect addition to the Live Casino. Care and consideration are taken with each dish. Everything was extremely flavorful. The only reason I didn’t mark 5 stars is my fish was cooked long, so it was tough, and we were skipped over for bread. Several servers worked together to care for the tables, so we understood how one could be missed. Nevertheless, this place is fantastic, and deserves a return trip. Well done!

Beautiful restaurant! We had Buzz salad! Good! Shrimp Cocktail. Ribeye. Also good waiters were very attentive! Great ambience! Live entertainment. On the pricier end.

I came tonight to celebrate my birthday. I’ve been here a few times prior to this and we’ve always had a great experience. The service is amazing and the food is delicious. I wish the oysters were bigger in size. The scallops were really good. The jumbo crab cake was delicious because there was not much filler it was all lump crab. The broccolini were cooked perfect. We got the truffle Mac and added lobsters to it. It was good but I don’t it’s worth $44 for a side. If I were to get it again I think I would skip the lobster add-on the Chilean sea bass was amazing perfectly cooked and the prime rib was a huge portion good for sharing. My husband and friend shared the full size and still end up taking 1/3 of it home. I really like the crème brûlée because it was not overly sweet. I would highly recommend this restaurant

Went there for my neice birthday Loved it the atmosphere all the staff where very attentive Our food would of been great but we only ate the sides because of one thing I never went to a 5star restaurant that didn’t have remoulade sauce for the crab cakes😩 and didn’t know what I was talking about when I asked for it. They brought out tarter and cocktail sauce😳😩 they looked good and I couldn’t wait to get it because of so many good reviews about them. but I didn’t eat them until later when I got the sauce from some else but if I visit again I will try something different

We had drinks at the bar and they were well prepared and done right. We had a great booth. Our servers were Nicole and Cameron. They did a great job. They suggested a particular steak and it was excellent. The only hiccup was that it was my wife’s birthday and her dessert was not comped and she was expecting that. But, based on the food and atmosphere, we will be back.

Had reservations for 9:30 and the restaurant called and asked if we could make it earlier so we arrived at 9.I thought that was odd,as we made a reservation that they could have stated needed to be earlier right then and there when we were setting it up.We were not a last minute walk-in party or anything inconvenient.There was no host so we waited awkwardly by the kitchen for 10 minutes until we got fed up and ASKED a passing waiter to help us.When we were finally seated it was directly next to the kitchen doors in the busy aisle facing the kitchen,my partner is currently using crutches and wanted a little room,but Kamal told us we couldnt move for some reason(it wasn't crowded).I ordered the NYE special,consisting of the dry-aged ribeye.Several different waiters brung our food and mine was missing the items it came with so I spoke up,they then brung me a RANDOM side of cheese with mashed potatoes (more cheese than potatoes) when my entree SPECIFICALLY came with a BAKED potato.Food and service were mediocre overall and when I saw there was automatic gratuity no matter the size of your party…I now understood why!

1st time eating there while staying at the casino for a week and it’s way overrated!!! Yes it’s elegant looking the strip steak was decent and tasted delicious, BUT a 12oz strip isn’t worth $82. Then to top it off you get NOTHING with the steak .. everything you want is an add on. A dang side salad is 12-15!!! We did get mashed potatoes which were mixed with instant potatoes… and our bill for just a strip steak a ribeye mashed potatoes and a soda was almost $200! That’s INSANE!!! It’s definitely not worth that price.

Let me begin by stating that we chose this venue based on our previous positive experience during my daughter-in-law's Drexel graduation dinner held here. Unfortunately, this time our experience fell very short of meeting expectations. This was an engagement dinner for 35 guests. If familiar with the restaurant you know this was not an inexpensive dinner, 7k in case not familiar. The engagement itself was absolutely beautiful. Larry (manager) and his team were also great! They were attentive and helpful throughout the event.The unfortunate areas of concern, food quality, quantity and timely execution. The appetizers were extremely limited, averaging only one shrimp and one oyster per person. The Caesar salads were disappointing, with wilted, partly brown lettuce and minimal dressing. The asparagus was overcooked and mushy. One guest's steak had an unpleasant odor and was returned for chicken, which was not served until well after the event concluded. All food items were served warm at best. Nothing intended to be hot was actually hot with the exception of a couple of the mac and cheese dishes. There were significant delays between courses, and the cleanup process was slow. I even assisted in clearing dishes to help expedite dessert service. While the staff present were attentive, it appeared the event was either understaffed or the kitchen was unable to keep up with the service demands. To summarize, while the serving staff did their best under the circumstances. The overall experience did not at all align with the high standards we expected from this establishment. Given cost and food quality, far better options can be found in the city.

This was overall a mediocre experience. From entry, the person tending to us seemed inconvenienced. Our waiter Kamal made multiple mistakes, including repeating our order incorrectly and forgetting our iced water. Our prime rib came out and was unimpressive - under seasoned and just tasted like a very average cut of meat. The manager was fantastic and went above and beyond to remove this from our bill after she saw it was barely touched. Service was slow - our regular waiter was hard to flag down, even a coffee took a long time to arrive. We gave up and asked for the bill, then the coffee came. The mashed potatoes were good, but broccolini was nothing to write home about. Blanched with just a dash of garlic - presented and tasted like something one could easily make at home. Gratuity of 20% is automatically added even if you are a regular party of 2. The receipt comes out showing the usual blanks to fill for gratuity so if not careful, you will end up not realizing that gratuity is already added. It also made it rather awkward to adjust given our mediocre experience. Overall, a very average experience, and made better by the excellent manager who looked genuinely disappointed for us that we did not enjoy the food.

Lobster bisque soup was not even warm therefore I sent it back to be heated. Salmon was over cooked. Brussel sprouts were delicious however they were room temperature. Broccoli was extremely under cooked and hard. There steak was delicious and seasoned well.

Food was horrible, French fries were a waste of time, and The Prime Rib was flavor less. I mean even to soda was flat. Bartender where not really paying attention,I sat and ate at the bar .. Typical food at the casino I guess.

First off we waited over an hour for our food to come out it was DISGUSTING! I ordered a ribeye medium well, they gave me a strip medium. They argued me down saying it was a ribeye. If I was a different color they would have CORRECTED my order. That steak was THICK, I do not like thick steaks so I always order a ribeye. I refused to eat the steak so the manager decided to make me cut into the steak to prove it wasn’t a New York strip. Just for him to walk off. He knew it was a New York strip if you ran out of ribeyes just say that. The steaks were cooked with no seasoning not even salt! The Mac and cheese was DRY! I seen pics on reviews and they were creamy, not out! The drinks were sweet it tasted like a popsicle. I felt like we wasted $1300 on nothing. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND COMING HERE. Attached are the steaks compared . The steak was a rib eye and the bottom was “a ribeye” but clearly is a New York strip. Also that horrible Mac and cheese. This place shouldn’t be called a fine dining experience AT ALL!!

seafood add ons are not cooked fresh, ours was sitting under a heat lamp long enough to have a skin on it, it didnt taste off but it was definitely cooked a few hours before we ordered it. screwed up the add ons too and ended with a mandatory tip printed on the bill. i could understand for a big party, usually tip is added for large parties but for a few people? and for reallllllly slow service? and seating us at a dirty table (yeah even with that cheap table light it was visible) dont go here. there all non sense fake, can i help you blahblah blah. then oh its on the way its coming right out....meanwhile 20 minutes later. then they slap a mandatory tip for a meal that you can get at longhorn for less than half the price. we let the accumulafing bad service pass because it was busy but the slap with the mandatory tip amount at the end gets them a review they deserve. yes, great job..give your staff a minimum guaranteed tip so they know they can do a crappy job. and the price for basically a thimble of sauce is also crazy. the table next to us had all softs of complaints about the specials they recieved..i guess dont order the specials, thats the stuff thats about to go rancid and they need to sell it asap. its not my first visit, they didnt even dress the plate with horseradish like they used to. nor did.they bring out the knife selection, they were basically.running a mom and pop diner nit a fine dining reataurant. i wasmt even going to give a bad tip but that service and lack of attenton to.detail at a "high end" restauramt was not worth 20%. and one more! they advertise.the steak knife selection thing, we didnt get that choice; you use that on your website.to.distinguish yourselves. no standards here, the "white gloves" are stained and look even worse under blacklight most likely

I made a reservation for 7:00 had to wait 25 minutes to be seeded, I ordered a steak. The aged quarter house for a $149, and when it came out, it was well done, charcoal and I ordered it medium. The manager came over and said she would take 25% just eat it. The steak was un edible, you needed a saw to cut through the steak. My knife couldn't even get through it. My wife ordered a filet medium well and it came out charcoal.Well done burnt. Our first time there, we will never go back. When you checked in before you went into the restaurant, the service was terrible when you have a reservation and you still have to wait, something's not right.

the food here is laughably bad. Came on a busy saturday night. -Prime rib was clearly not prime. To be expected i suppose but for a place called the prime rib, i expected more flavor (there wasn't any), higher quality meat(choice or lower), and better horseradish (mild. Mayoish. basically water) / au ju (basically water). The table next to me took one bite of their prime rib and returned it, so it wasn't just my table that didn't like it. -mashed potatoes: likely powder -calamari: not great not bad. Setting is nice though. Nice energy to the place. Sofa lounge seats at the front. Serve was average, nothing to complain/compliment

Horrible prime rib and Chilean sea bass. Prime rib flat and tasteless. Outer portion was stewed soft and mushy without a savory crust. Center tough. either cheap piece of meat or the chef was from the Muppets. I never tasted a Chilean sea bass dry and stringy. I didn't think it was possible. Once again food not fresh or Muppets chef. $500 bill, horrible food. Old Prime Rib in Philly was so much better. Will not come back.
