Good beer, excellent food, and great service! Our food came out in record time (probably about 7 minutes, not joking). The cod tacos were some of the best fried fish I’ve ever had, and the cauliflower wings were a great appetizer!
We've been coming to Woodstock for years, they never miss a beat. The beers from Supa Scupa and I dream in orange to the sours are astounding. The food from smash burger to tacos are fast and delicious. Indoor or outdoor seating whether weekday or weekend isnt a problem. Firepits in colder evenings. And a kudos to all the bartenders, servers, and staff, friendly, polite, and helpful. Thank you for making this place so great.
My husband and I eat here whenever in the area. The food is always delicious, the resturant clean, the staff friendly. We have tried many items on the menu and we have never been disappointed. His favorite beer no matter how many different ones he tries remains their Emotional Support Beer. We like to travel and check out local breweries. I am frequently disappointed that non alcoholic beverages are limited to water or one or two sodas. Woodstock gives enough that I don't feel like I am settling. I have had seltzer with a splash fruit juice and lemonade which has become my go to here. I try not to drink soda. Recently we crave the tacos here. The last ones to try are the brussel sprout tacos, that is the next outing. If you have your family and don't want the brewery vibe for the kids, they have outside seating. Overall enjoyable food, drink and atmosphere.
Great brewery to visit especially after a long grueling hike at one of the high peaks. We always stop here after hitting Wittenberg. We were able to grab a seat outside this time and it was the perfect day for it. I appreciate that they have an outside bar to order from for outdoor seating. The service was quick too. The beer selection is solid and there’s enough on the menu for most anyone to find something to eat. I really enjoyed the Thai Chicken Sandwich. It tasted fresh, the chicken was tender, and it was flavorful. The habanero pork quesadilla could had been better. It didn’t really have any vegetables in it according to the menu description and it didn’t have much habanero heat. It tasted fresh though. The taquitos needed something else too but they were good. Maybe the chicken needed more flavor. Regardless, I will return here every time I come up to hike and recommend it to anyone.
1/16/25 stopped in on my way home from Belleayre. Got some beer to go. Nice selection in cans. Friendly staff too. They have a full menu but I'll have to stop in again and have a meal. Support Indi breweries! Get some beer to go and give it to friends if you don't drink beer. It's a perfect gift! Thanks for the ice, Dawn!
This was the perfect stop after hiking Black Head and Black Dome. It was super chill, playing mostly dub and reggae on a Sunday afternoon was very appropriate. All the beers we had were good. My favorites were the saison and the Mean Charlene sour. Didn't try any of the other sours but will the next time we're there. All the food was good, and fast (it wasn't super busy). The smash burger, smoked beef sandwich, Thai crispy chicken sandwich, green pozole, cauliflower bhan mi, with fries and onion rings. All of it was fantastic, but I'll only be ordering fries, burgers, and pozole. They're just that good. No table service. Wal up to the bar to order food and drinks. They'll bring it to you tho. We dined inside but they had tables, a fire pit and and maybe some games outside. Not a lot to complain about except for some of the patrons are entitled and privileged. Can't do anything about that tho.
Came here on a Memorial Day Saturday after hiking the Kaaterskill falls in the morning. Easily found room here for everyone in our large group of 10 adults plus 2 kids plus 1 dog. Awesome spot to drink yourself some fresh IPAs, or non-IPAs. Outdoor beer garden area with picnic tables and fire pit. I loved the emotional support and entropy IPAs. Lime Rudy was a terrific summertime light beer. As for food. Definitely better than your average brewery. The smash burger was very tasty, though I could have used without the sauce. My daughter hated her French fries, which had to many delicious “burnt parts.” And my New Mexican wife ate up her pesolé.
While vacationing in the area, we found Woodstock Brewing. We were seated in the beautiful outside seating area, tried flights and pints, and eventually (hours later) decided on cans to take with us. We tried several menu items, and the food was a great pairing with the beers. The service was notably good as well. Excellent time was had, and we will definitely be back. Highly recommended!
Loved the vibe of this place! Kids, dogs, locals, non locals. Everyone chilling here on a Saturday afternoon. Menu was unexpectedly wide and inclusive for a brewery. We had the pozole soup, the cauliflower taco, and the miso garlic wings. Really enjoyed everything. Miso garlic wings were sweeter than I expected but still yummy. Portions were also larger than expected. Will definitely come back.
I have passed this establishment a handful of times since I started hiking the Catskill35s and have been itching to check out. I was stoked to meet up with a friend who finished up a hike nearby, I drove a little under an hour to get there. Totally worth it. Clean environment, friendly atmosphere and top tier service. I've been to places where there is no table service and was extremely thrilled that they actually brought the food out to our table! Really enjoyed the Woodstock Lager they have, my friend ordered a sour gose and damn that was tasty! Excited to go back and try more food off their menu and more of their brews! My folks had an Irish Pub & Restaurant growing up, mad respect to the owner and staff. Thank you for the great time, great eats & great drinks 🍀🍻👏
20-30min drive from Hunter mountain and Belleayre mountain. We came here after ski as I think same with most of people. Food are tasty, come out pretty quick and really great to pair with beer. The night we went are too cold to have outside seat but it’s looks nice from others people photos. Service is nice and legit. Drop by and you won’t disappoint.
This place has way better food than I expected. We very much enjoyed the wings, onion rings, tacos, and chicken quesadilla. The tempura cod taco really stood out. Seem to have unique beers that folks in the group generally enjoyed. Wish they had more non-alcoholic options (besides soda etc). There is a lot of space, and there were a lot of families here with kids running around. You can take a large group here and be fine.
Nice place. Open seating. The only downside was the bug infestation on the windows. We were allowed to change seats, but there wasn't much they could do about all the bugs ... and handle food, etc. The tacos were looked nice, but the meat itself was not flavorful unless you added sauce. If you're in the neighborhood and need a place to go, try this one, but try not to sit by the window.
Before continuing, I want to preface this by saying that I am not someone who leaves negative reviews. In fact, if you look through my review history, you’ll see that I almost always support businesses and leave positive feedback. That said, this experience truly warrants what follows. On Valentine’s Day weekend, we were driving back from a wonderful trip to Vermont and were staying at a nearby Airbnb. We decided to stop into Woodstock Brewery for a drink and to order some food to go. When we arrived, the brewery was packed—which is completely understandable for a Sunday evening. We waited patiently in a long line to order food, as everyone else was doing. The two bartenders behind the bar seemed overwhelmed, but again, we were patient and polite. We ordered a flight of beer along with a burger and tacos to go. We were told that the food would be brought over to us when it was ready, and we were asked where we’d be sitting, which we clearly explained. We went back to our table and enjoyed our beer flight while we waited. After finishing the flight, we were still waiting for our food. I then noticed a plastic bag sitting between the kitchen and the bar. My boyfriend went over to ask if it happened to be ours, and we were told that it was. I asked how long it had been sitting there and calmly mentioned that I’d rather not spend $40 on cold food. The bartender responded that if it was cold, she would remake it, which I appreciated and thanked her for. However, as we turned to walk away, she made a snide comment saying, “There’s 30,000 people here.” While the brewery was busy, that was clearly an exaggerated and unnecessary remark. I responded by saying that maybe more staff should be working if that’s the case. At that point, she snapped back with, “You better watch your mouth.” In all my years of visiting breweries, I have never encountered a bartender who was so rude and unprofessional. It’s one thing to be overwhelmed during a busy shift—it’s another to speak to customers this way, especially when the concern was valid and expressed calmly. The food was never brought to us as promised, and the way the situation was handled was completely unacceptable.
