I found it by chance on Booking.com and was pleasantly surprised by the kindness of the owner, Gianni, and his staff. The service was impeccable, and both lunch and dinner were excellent. The location, just a five-minute walk from the beach, where there's a quiet private beach, was also perfect. I recommend it to anyone vacationing in Ascea Marina.

My wife and I booked from June 6th to 16th '25, it was a really relaxing holiday. The room with bathroom was clean and comfortable, with a nice terrace. The food was excellent, but the pizza was surprising "fabulous" About 200 meters away there is the equipped Lido, very comfortable. A heartfelt thanks to all the staff. Recommended

We stayed at this hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary. To say we had a wonderful time would be an understatement. The hotel is barrier-free, there's a ramp to the restaurant, and the management does everything they can to make our vacation unforgettable. We're incredibly grateful to Gianni and the entire hotel staff for everything they did for us. The food is delicious; their chef is the most Michelin-starred of all. Their dishes are truly generous; eating at this restaurant will leave you feeling like you're not hungry. As for their private beach, we must give special praise to lifeguard Giovanni, who, despite his young age, has so much to teach us all. We recommend it to everyone.

Very comfortable and clean structure, the rooms are spacious and equipped with refrigerator, air conditioning, TV, and everything you need. They also have a restaurant with really good prices and quality unlike others, everything fresh and cooked to order. They have a private beach 200 meters away, including sun loungers and umbrellas. Very convenient.

A wonderful place, very welcoming family, clean rooms, with good food, 5 mn from the beach. I stayed a week, felt safe and so happy that I was sad to live. Very close to check out: the archeological park of Velia where Parmenides and Zeno were, Paestum with three beautiful greek temples half an hour away. Tutto perfetto ! Tornerò!

Well-maintained hotel, comfortable room with a terrace, plentiful and good food, close to the sea with beach service included, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful staff, and ample parking next to the property. The only flaw is the room's somewhat superficial cleanliness.

My family and I stayed at the Hotel Bacco in Ascea for a week at the end of June 2025, and we were all completely satisfied. The hotel is clean, meticulously maintained, and reminded me of the hotels I've stayed at in the Dolomites in the past, where every detail was meticulously managed. The added value at the Hotel Bacco lies in the kindness and helpfulness of the owners and staff, who, with their affability and discretion, create a truly pleasant, family-friendly atmosphere. The cuisine is excellent: varied and plentiful, with excellent service. The rooms we stayed in were simply but very functionally furnished, with balconies, drying racks, and views of the pleasant, peaceful surrounding landscape. The entrance to the hotel and the upper floor are barrier-free. There is a large, convenient shaded parking lot. The sea is just 250 meters away, with a very long, well-maintained sandy beach and clear water. The property is also quite close to the entrance to the very interesting and evocative Velia archaeological site, which offers a splendid view of the coast below and the surrounding hills. I would definitely recommend a stay at this beautiful property and hope to return soon with family and friends.

We stayed at the Hotel Bacco from June 14th to 17th. We must say we enjoyed our stay very much, thanks to the hospitality and helpfulness of Mr. Roberto and his sons, Giovanni and Pasquale. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was quite large. The food was tasty and plentiful, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was very peaceful. The hotel has a private beach equipped with umbrellas, chairs, and loungers, located just a short distance away. We recommend it to those who appreciate simplicity and tranquility.

We discovered this hotel thanks to a Daydreams offer. We didn't have high expectations and were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean. The beach was private and close to the sea. We had half board. The food was quality. The staff was excellent. Highly recommended... The only thing that could be improved was the breakfast, especially the availability of cappuccino or products for those with lactose intolerance. Best regards, Mr. Roberto and his kind children!

Rooms and location were great, private beach is very convenient. Little balcony with clothes line perfect for beach stay. Lunch and dinner service were excellent quality! Nothing special to say about the staff. Only few rooms were booked during our stay. Room walls are so thin, felt like our neighbors were in the room with us. Beautiful dining room, but breakfast was a complete disappointment. Nothing homemade, very little variety and not very nice quality. No vegan or gluten-free options which is usually pretty standard these days. Completely different feel from lunch and dinner quality foods.

Overall, a positive experience. A good offer for a week's stay with breakfast for two on Booking.com. Adding a room at the hotel price was a bit high, but in line with the listed prices. The owners (at least the ones we knew) were polite but not very friendly, not particularly open to conversation or a smile. The property and rooms were beautiful. Breakfast was overall satisfactory, nothing exceptional, especially considering it's in Campania and there's much more to choose from, but for the price, I'd say it's more than adequate.

I stayed at this hotel for a weekend. The breakfast was excellent and varied. The food leaves much to be desired. Mediocre dishes were plentiful, while the fish dishes were meager. We ate stewed cuttlefish that was absolutely disgusting. The restrooms on the beach were a nightmare. The best dishes were served to outside guests. A disappointment.
