El lugar esta precioso. La comida demasiado rica y muy razonable los precios. El servicio fue muy bueno. En un lado es restaurante, pero al otro lado es tiendita de artesanías, dulces típicos y frapes. Definitivamente lo recomiendo y pienso regresar. Me encantó.

Excellent service affordable menu price a must go if you are in the area. From my last visit everything was change a lot table service is not good, plantain chips was fried in burn oil, my fish fillet was overcook and my mofongo has no taste my wife mofongo with redsnaper was greasy. I dont know is the place was under other administration. This is my last visit to the place.

If you’re looking for an authentic Puerto Rican 🇵🇷 cuisine experience Parada Típica is the perfect restaurant! The mofongo is top tier and their tostones 🤤, honestly everything I tried was amazing! The view from the outdoor seating area is breathtaking 🤩. There’s also a cute souvenir shop with a variety of souvenirs and “dulces” traditional candies and treats. The carrot and guava cupcakes are so delicious, definitely a must try! Would highly recommend! We will definitely be back! 🥰🫶🏼

Recommended but a shop owner in old San Juan. It was really good. The mofongo bowls were delicious..I had the red snapper..there was 13 of us and we tried a lot of food. If you are driving by it would be best to stop.

First time trying Mofongo and without a comparison, it's hard to say how good it was (I got the Steak with garlic sauce, the hubby got crispy pork), but EVERYONE at our table of 14 people ordered different variations and loved it! This coming from a bunch of Minnesotan's . Fantastic food, outstanding service (Thank you Karol) great atmosphere and tons of fun!

This has been the best place we have eaten since in PR. I am so picky in our dishes (even though we have delicious food not everyone makes it good). Everything we ordered was top notch. So delicious 🤤! Be back here again. Oh and the service (oh the service), the ladies also gave us the best experience. They also have a candy shop right next to the restaurant and took me back to when I was a kid, their sweets are great as well. Wish I could give them a 10! Thank you Parada Típica.

Beautiful view, great prices, good service. One of Aguada's main attractions. This is a hilltop restaurant with a beautiful view that reaches far and wide into the wilderness. They also have frappe and original Puertorican souvenirs to buy. The food is excellent, the surtidos are big, the meats are to live for, and the frappes are just wonderful. Overall, it's hard not to love it. Give it a shot. P.S. I've heard from people I trust that their service has been disappointing lately. If you go and find weak service, just look up directions for El Rincon del Sabor, Chef Lorenzo Restaurant, or even Quality Grill if you don't mind a food truck. On their good days though, it's worth it.

Great customer service! Excellent natural juices. They also sell souvenirs at affordable price. It's better deal buying 1/2 gallon of natural juice than by the cup, but you need to know which drink you really like.

I saw this small/mid size restaurant, souvenir shop for sitting in or take out. on Facebook from a post. I'm glad I made my stop here as well. The food is tasty, especially the octopus salad, frappe are really good, Acai bowl are delicious. They also sell authentic Puerto Rican candy, treats and snacks. The souvenirs shop just add more class to this stop location. They have antiques all around the souvenir shop. Plus a lot of art work about Puerto Rico culture. Staff are very friendly and talkative just to strike up a conversation. They offer a small parking lot for your visit. They have sitting area outside at the front, a few tables in the souvenir shop and more in an air condition area if you want to sit in and eat. In that area they have a small bar also. This is a must stop if you're around this area.

Awesome food and the inside is painted with murals of Puerto Rico. It is so quaint and the people were nice. We had the lobster and shrimp....to die for! You enter into a souvenir shop at first and it looks like a small wooden house. Make a trip! You won't regret it.

So far everything I've tried in this place is outstanding. Mofongos are well prepared, the pechuga a la plancha is super delicious, try las empanadillas and las arañitas. The nachos with cheese also great. I recommend the frappes of Pitahaya, tamarindo, lemon and watermelon I've come to this place here for 3 consecutive days and don't regret it. If you like dulces típicos, this is the place to visit. You will love it!

Muy hermoso restaurante la comida estuvo rica eramos un grupo de 11 personas entiendo que el servicio pudo ser mejor y la comida estaba un poco fría. aunque tenía muy buen sabor. y para pagar tuvimos que esperar mucho rato. Y aún no sabemos por que. Creo que por (falta de personal) qué eso lo está sufriendo muchos muy buenos restaurantes en todo el mundo.

Uno de los aspectos que más me llamó la atención el aspecto de qué el lugar conserva mucho la cultura puertorriqueña. Tienes la opción de tomarte un Frappe el área de entrada o puedes ir a la sala de restaurante lo cual cocinan muy bueno. Un toque extra el lugar es la vista que tienes de la naturaleza desde el área de la terraza. En mi caso pedí una pechuga a la parmesana con trigo y una ensalada de pulpos, pero no diría que es la mejor que he probado pero tampoco estaba mal. El trato de los empleados es bastante bueno y no tengo nada negativo que decir al momento. El y andábamos un poquito en apuro y pudo resolvernos rápido. sí recomendaría este lugar ya que los precios son bastante módicos, el personal es bastante bueno y atento y la comida no está mal.

I ordered mofongo with chicken broth and fish. The mofongo was good but the broth need more flavor. The small sampler the portion was good and reasonable prices, other than that the service was excellent.

One awful thing: they were playing traditional Mexican music (corridos), reason why I gave 4 stars. We like MX music, but that is not the place you should expect that music, with the name PARADA TÍPICA you should have PR traditional music. I almost left the place, seriously, but it was late and we were really hungry. We mentioned the music to the server and she said that they were tired of listening to the music over and over reason why they decided to play corridos. The other 4 stars, the food was very very GOOD! Beware the surtido pequeño is HUGE! Server was pretty good. I may come back for a to go, not to dine in. Restaurant has a nice decor, the store is pretty cool too!

Fast service, excellent portions, they just didn't give me a glass with ice! Moderate price! Include a glass of ice when serving canned sodas! Even if they charge extra! The temperature in Puerto Rico is at least 87° ambient!

Update Dec 2022: The food quality and service is going down. I don't mind waiting, especially if it is busy, but there are errors that shouldn't happen. 1. Our surtido was delivered to another family. The family told them and the server came to our table with the plate and, instead of apologizing and giving us a new one, they gave us the plate that was delivered to the other family. 2. At this point we didn't have our drinks nor utensils, so one of us asked for the drinks. The server brought just one drink (for the person who asked, we were 6). We asked for the rest of the drinks and they brought something drinks that were not ours, TWICE! We didn't get any refills nor were asked if we needed anything else 3. In terms of the food, the surtido was good. I ordered pechuga rellena de churrasco and it was super dry (even with the salsa blanca). The churrasco tasted like old hamburger meat. 4. We also ordered a chuleta Kan Kan. It was huge and looked good but it was undercooked. 5. When I was going to leave, I went to the restrooms and it had no paper nor soap. 6. Finally, when I was going to pay the lady asked me if I was going to tip. She was obviously expecting a No because she looked super surprised when I said yes.... I don't live in PR, and this was my to-do place when I was in Aguada. Not anymore. Previous review: Super delicious food. Highly recommended!! I want to go back!!
