The drinks and food were very tasty. Price was very acceptable for a place right in front of the water in Vernazza. The staff outside was not that talkative to tourists and came a cross annoyed from the start. Didn’t impact our experience that much luckily.

Absolutely delicious pizza and really friendly service! We ordered takeaway and waited on the benches outside watching the sunset, then 10 minutes later our pizza was brought right out to us! We enjoyed it back at our accom and it was still piping hot and incredibly tasty.

There is seating outside or inside. Beautiful views over the stunning bay in Vernazza. It can get very busy over lunchtime, but the wait forward table is absolutely worthwhile. The dishes are made from fresh ingredients, the best.

Outside shaded terrace with nice view over harbour. Staff is friendly and quick. Menu also in English. A good place for having lunch. We tried pizza parmaham and pizza Tirolese, which both were excellent. Would fully recommend eating at this restaurant.

I had breakfast here two mornings in Vernazza and dinner one night, all of their food was phenomenal!!! Service was great and I frequently noticed locals visiting here, which is always a good sign. They also have a resident cat named Nanny who I became friends with, the owner lives above the restaurant, but Nanny charms all who visit Ananasso Bar, so keep your eye out for her.

Good pizza. Cold beer. Great view. Lovely waiter. Sure where else would you be? Waiter also got us a second round of pizza after kitchen had officially closed in a take-away box 🥹 it’s the human acts and exceptions that make you remember the place as a definite 5* - Grazie molto!

I chose for a four-formaggi pizza, and greatly enjoyed it! The pizza was delicious and the cheese was nicely melted. A small nitpick; the crust had some dark burnt spots but honestly the crust tasted so good that I didn't think it was a problem at all, -it might even add a bit to the taste of the pizza! Can definitely recommend this restaurant to others and I would love to go to this place again!

Abbiamo visitato Vernazza e ci siamo fermati qui a fare un pranzo leggero. I prezzi sono abbordabili ( 9€ una insalata greca), contando che in piazza si paga anche la location e che i ristoranti limitrofi hanno prezzi esorbitanti!! Cibo buono. Gentili i camerieri. I tavolini sono al riparo dal sole. Si sta proprio bene. Consigliato 👍

Sono stata qui diverse volte durante il soggiorno a Vernazza. La prima volta per un aperitivo, il cocktail analcolico è stato servito a temperatura ambiente quindi non era piacevole da bere considerato il caldo della giornata (ci siamo seduti proprio per bere qualcosa di rinfrescante). Nei due giorni successivi abbiamo fatto colazione qui perché era il bar più vicino, un giorno abbiamo preso la focaccia ed era buona, un altro giorno le brioches con la nutella ed erano buone anche quelle. Per quanto riguarda la caffetteria, per due giorni consecutivi abbiamo chiesto il latte macchiato ed è sempre arrivato il caffèlatte, anche un’altra cliente nel tavolo vicino al nostro si è lamentata con il cameriere dicendo che ogni volta glielo sbagliavano. Si percepisce un po’ di disorganizzazione e probabilmente chi si occupa della caffetteria è abituato con turisti stranieri, però a tutti gli effetti siamo in Italia e saper distinguere un latte macchiato da un caffellatte è basilare. Prezzi piuttosto alti, il caffè espresso costa 1,80€.

Il cibo era buono ma peccato che focaccia e nutella costa 5 euro e ti portano due focaccie e due nutelline che ti devi Mettere da solo lo stesso e per pane e burro sconsigliato

I was absolutely horrified of the toilet! OMG! Check my picture of it. Disgusting!! Regarding the rest: We had a breakfast snack here. Ordered 1 Focaccia Mediterranea and 1 Mini Focaccia. The mini focaccia for €2,50 is absolutely ridiculous! Dry, tasteless and truly "mini". Just dry bread with a tiny bit of ham. Such a joke. The staff were friendly. The Mediterranean was OK and coffee was very good and coffee price is fair. Great view, too.

Purtroppo la mia esperienza all’Ananasso Bar è stata deludente. Siamo arrivati in quattro per un aperitivo e, chiedendo di unire due tavoli per stare più comodi, siamo stati accolti con evidente scortesia da parte di una persona dello staff (forse la proprietaria). Non il miglior inizio. Quando ci sono arrivate le bevande, non ci è stato servito nulla da accompagnare. Solo dopo averlo richiesto esplicitamente, ci hanno portato una manciata di patatine misere e palesemente stantie, che sembravano avanzate. Quando altri due amici si sono uniti a noi, abbiamo chiesto gentilmente una sedia libera a un tavolo vicino da cui le persone se ne stavano andando, e loro ce l’hanno offerta senza alcun problema. Tuttavia, la stessa persona del personale ci ha fermati in modo brusco e scortese, impedendo ai nostri amici di accomodarsi con noi nonostante avessero intenzione di ordinare da bere. Ci ha persino accusati ingiustamente di aver “rubato” la sedia, quando in realtà avevamo ricevuto il consenso diretto delle persone sedute lì prima. Una cameriera, invece, si è dimostrata molto cortese e disponibile, e per questo motivo do 2 stelle invece di una. Mi auguro davvero che ci siano miglioramenti nella gestione del servizio e nell’approccio verso i clienti, perché al momento non posso consigliare questo locale.

purtroppo non posso dare meno di una stella. l’unica cosa bella che hanno è il posto, la bella vista. Camerieri con i musi, arroganti e zero rispetto per il cliente. mi hanno trattata malissimo, parolacce e aria di sfida. non sanno lavorare! maleducati !!!!!

Trappola per turisti!! Non passate da Ananasso, i prezzi sono decisamente sproporzionati per le porzioni che offrono! Una focaccia tonda (5 cm di diametro) con mezza fetta di prosciutto a 2.50€! Se aggiungete un cappuccino e un caffè arrivate a 12€!!! Godetevi la vista mare da un’altra parte! Veramente pessimo! SCAMMAMASSO

È la prima volta che mi capita di alzarmi senza aver fatto l' ordinazionez ma la cameriera è stata talmente tanto scortese che non era possibile consumare in quel bar. Evidentemente a questo bar, che dal mio punto di vista ha come unico pregio la posizione, non gli importava di perdere quattro consumazioni.

Pomeriggio di luglio, tanta gente in piazza, caldo sicché ci fermiamo a prendere qualcosa da bere e ammirare il posto. Peccato che di tranquillità non c’era neanche l’ombra vista la comitiva che parlava portoghese urlava con i boccali di birra in mano. Ma la cosa più brutta è che alla nostra richiesta di qualche patatine e noccioline per accompagnare i drink ci dicono “sono in lavorazione” quindi aspettiamo. Dopo 30 minuti chiediamo di nuovo: rifiutano dicendo che se li danno a noi devono darle a tutti. Questa non è ristorazione, è maleducazione. Attenzione al cliente zero. L’ho fatto notare anche al momento del pagamento. Ammirate il mare da quell’altra parte della piazza! La gente aveva tranquilla gli stuzzichini e camerieri senza modi zingareschi

October 1, visiting Vernazza. Not a high touristic season, yet the service was slow, disorganized, the staff looked irritated and not welcoming. Ordered 3 cappuccinos and had to wait long for service. They served others who came after us, before us. They seemed oblivious of the order of clients arrival. Not one smile from the servers even when tried to befriend them. Too sad to see, in such a beautiful place. Once cappuccino arrived it was good.
