La ciliegina sulla torna della nostra vacanza. Abbiamo prenotato, con anticipo, per lo scorso venerdì a cena, vista mare. Abbiamo ordinato due primi : spaghetti alle acciughe e un altro primo misto mare, porzioni giuste/abbondanti, il sapore: qualcosa che si avvicina alla perfezione; veramente buoni, pesce fresco, cotto bene, delicato e saporito. Abbiamo poi ordinato un fritto: ci arriva un piatto ben presentato con verdure fritte, polpo e baccalà fritti. Non era per niente unto, anzi non sembrava quasi fritto. Morbidissimo il pesce, saporito. Siamo rimasti a bocca aperta. In conclusione due dolci: una torta al cioccolato stile sacher e una crostata alla crema con frutti rossi freschi, eccezionali entrambe. Vino buono al calice. Complimenti davvero allo chef, personale gentilissimo, giovane e pronto per qualsiasi bisogno. La location è mozzafiato, nulla da dire. Il prezzo proporzionato al tutto, siamo rimasti davvero soddisfatti.

Esperienza unica e incredibile, obbligatoria almeno una volta nella vita! Gran piatto di crudi e' poesia come anche il filetto di ricciola al forno con crema di crostacei, pura meraviglia!! Panorama incredibile e staff super!

Un locale romantico e piacevole. Cibo di ottima qualità e giusto nelle quantità. Il risotto al basilico e gamberi è davvero un must,lo consiglio. Servizio nella norma, i ragazzi sono molto piacevoli e preparati. I prezzi sono abbastanza alti, ma ce lo si aspetta dato il posizionamento del locale e la magnifica vista. Consigliato.

Abbiamo chiamato alle 13 per chiedere se avevano ancora posto e ci hanno persino riservato il tavolo sotto la grotta, davvero suggestivo!😍 Menù degustazione da 45€ con 4 portate, tutto spaziale! Situato in uno dei luoghi più belli italiani. Personale accogliente, sorridente e giovane. Ha una terrazza con affaccio sul mare che aimè non abbiamo potuto sfruttare causa mal tempo. Ma siamo stati comunque a pranzo all'interno ed é comunque carino e confortevole. Affacciato sul mare. Abbiamo scelto il.menu degustazione che prevedeva 3 assaggi d'antipasto, 2 primi, un secondo e un dolce e son stati gentilissimi a cambiarmi la portata centrale poiché volevo assaggiare il famoso fritto della tortuga con la specialità di zona che sono le aringhe. Uno dei ristoranti che preferisco a Monterosso. Se avete la fortuna di mangiare vista Mare è davvero splendido , ma io trovo bellissimo mangiare all’interno, dove la cura nella ricerca di dettagli particolari la trovo unica. Location veramente suggestiva e romantica, cenare con il suono del mare nelle orecchie è meraviglioso! Per non parlare dei piatti! Il risotto con pesto, gamberetti e pinoli tostati è strepitoso, come gli spaghetti di Gragnano ai frutti di mare. Il fritto della Tortuga è particolare, diverso dai soliti fritti (contiene polpo, acciughe, baccalà e zucchine) ma ne vale la pena provarlo. Consigliato è anche il tonno scottato con cipolle di Tropea in agrodolce. Staff veramente gentile e disponibile. 113€ in due: due primi, due secondi, una bottiglia da 20€, una bottiglia d'acqua, un dolce ed un caffè...nel complesso quindi direi prezzo adeguato, vista la qualità del cibo e visto il panorama. Consigliatissimo.

Locale molto accogliente con una vista stupenda sul mare. Il personale molto attento e gentile ad ogni esigenza. Cosa dire dei piatti? Una meraviglia! Porzioni ricche, cucinate con maestria e impiattate con cura e attenzione ai particolari. Abbiamo assaggiato sia piatti di mare che di terra e siamo stati tutti ampiamente soddisfatti. Con il caldo consiglio i tavoli all'interno ma se andate la sera o in primavera/autunno non perdetevi la possibilità di mangiare fuori.

Uno dei pochi luoghi dove puoi vivere un'esperienza fuori dalla bolla turistica e consumare il pasto in un'ambiente educato e tranquillo. Piatti ricercati e diversi dal solito menù turistico, adatti a chi cerca il vero sapore del mare. Vini di prima scelta e dolci squisiti.

Ristorante ottimo per una cena romantica e per gustare i sapori tipici liguri. I tavoli all'aperto regalano una bellissima vista sul mare che rende la serata ancora più piacevole. Il personale è sempre stato cordiale e disponibile. I piatti sono buonissimi, decisamente sopra la media e ben presentati, la cottura del filetto era quella richiesta e gli spaghetti ai frutti di mare erano ricchi (non le solite cozze, vongole e calamari), purtroppo le porzioni dei piatti non sono abbondanti, ma comunque non si va via con la fame. Come dessert consiglio la torta con la crema al limoncello, soffice, con un buon profumo di limoni e dolce al punto giusto.

Posto molto carino, personale gentile. Purtroppo la giornata era piovosa e non ci ha permesso di mangiare all'aperto, ma l'atmosfera interna composta e ben arredata non ha fatto rimpiangere l esterno. Mangiare ottimo. Abbiamo preso il menù degustazione. Pesce favoloso e alici da consigliare!

Se potessi dare più di cinque stelle, lo farei senza esitazione. Il Ristorante L’Ancora della Tortuga a Monterosso al Mare è uno di quei luoghi che rimangono impressi nel cuore e nella memoria, non solo per l’eccellenza della cucina, ma per l’atmosfera unica che riesce a creare. Innanzitutto, la posizione è semplicemente spettacolare: il ristorante è incastonato nella roccia, affacciato direttamente sul mare delle Cinque Terre, con una terrazza che regala una vista mozzafiato. Sedersi a tavola qui significa avere davanti agli occhi un quadro vivo e mutevole: il blu intenso del mare, le barche che passano lente, il sole che tramonta tingendo l’orizzonte di colori indimenticabili. È un’esperienza che da sola varrebbe la visita. Ma la vera magia arriva quando iniziano a servire i piatti. La cucina è straordinaria: ogni portata è curata nei minimi dettagli, preparata con ingredienti freschissimi e con un amore per la tradizione che si fonde armoniosamente con un tocco di creatività. Il pesce è protagonista assoluto, cucinato in modo impeccabile: dalle tartare delicate e profumate, ai primi piatti di pasta fatta in casa arricchiti dai sapori del mare, fino ai secondi che esaltano la qualità delle materie prime. La combinazione di panorama mozzafiato, cucina eccellente e accoglienza calorosa crea un’atmosfera che difficilmente si trova altrove. In conclusione, non posso che consigliare vivamente questo ristorante a chiunque visiti Monterosso al Mare o le Cinque Terre. Già l'arrivo è un incanto. La posizione, incastonata su un promontorio con una vista mozzafiato sul mare, rende ogni pasto speciale. We celebrated my wife’s birthday at L’Ancora della Tortuga in Monterosso al Mare and had an exceptional experience from start to finish. Our hotel recommended the restaurant, and we are so glad they did. The staff could not have been more professional or accommodating. Our waiter, Filippo, provided truly top-notch service, attentive, kind, and perfectly paced. We asked for a local white wine and the team selected a blend that was one of the best we have ever had. Dinner was outstanding. We followed the staff’s recommendations and started with the foie gras, the best I have ever tasted. I did not know it could be that good. For mains, we enjoyed the evening’s special seafood spaghetti and a pesto risotto with shrimp, both cooked perfectly and bursting with fresh, delicate flavor. They even brought out a dessert with a candle for my wife to blow out, which made the evening even more special. We were also able to meet and thank the chef for the wonderful meal, a generous touch that meant a lot to us. Between the stunning cliffside setting, the impeccable service, the unforgettable food and wine, and the warm hospitality, this was a meal we will be talking about for years. Highly recommend.

We had a tremendous experience there. Sadly it was a Saturday and they didn’t have a place for us on the GORGEOUS terrace, but we found the inside very rustic, clean and charming. Service was excellent, they even had a high chair for our baby (the cleanest we’ve seen on our trip) and the staff was extremely helpful with us. The food itself was also excellent, we had 2 pasta dishes that were among the best we tried on our trip. The nonna’s truffle tagliatelle was quite memorable. Highly recommend, but make sure to have a reservation to get the view as a bonus!!

Start with the view. We had al fresco seating right at the waters edge (on a cliff, of course). This is how it starts. And then it just gets better. We were a larger group, so we had several of the menu options. Some of us split with others, some just shared. The risotto with prawn was wonderful, and the scallops were amazing. Wines were very good too :) I took a star off the service only because this dining area is up stairs from the restaurant itself. The waitstaff gets a lot of step climbing in running up and down. But there were periods of time where no staff was available if something was needed and they really just need one more person to make it perfect.

This is probably the most memorable meal I ever had. From the perfect setting to a lovely meal with the best company my family. From the onset the service was great! The meals outstanding and the view amazing. We had a variety of different dishes and we all tremendously enjoyed them. We recommended this restaurants to some friends 8 years later. They went and had a similar experience. In order to get in make reservations, we happened to stumble upon it and they had an open table.

Service was outstanding as was the food. Managed to secure a table inside just before a storm rolled through. Octopus pasta was the best pasta I have had in Italy. The fried bread is also amazing so be careful not to fill up being your mains arrive!

Absolutely incredible! I typically wouldn't go for anchovies so was a bit worried to go for the full menu, but I'm a fan of a set menu so went for it and each dish was incredible. Definitely on the pricey side but worth it, especially to escape the more touristy places closer to the center of town and have such an incredible view. They were a few minutes late opening but not out of reason, so hang around if it's close to opening time but you don't see anyone manning the tables.

Abbiamo pranzato in questo delizioso ristorante vista mare e ci siamo trovati molto bene. Il pesce è freschissimo ed è cucinato in modo semplice. Amazing location — sadly it was too windy so we had to sit inside, but the outdoor seating overlooking the view must be incredible on a calmer day. We ordered the shrimp risotto, which was outstanding, and the seafood pasta, which was good as well but not as exceptional as the risotto. For dessert we had the chocolate cake, which was delicious. Highly recommend this place!

Very cool location and restaurant. We did not get a table outside, but the inside of the restaurant was still very interesting and cozy. We had high expectations for the food. It was good, but small portions for the price(as Americans). Pesto risotto and seafood pasta were good dishes along with the anchovy appetizer.

We had high expectations for our meal here but in the end was disappointed, especially given the Michelin recommendation. It started well enough with the bread service - they had a popover type bread that was delicious. Asked for sparkling wine by the glass but the first two they were out of. Then tried for three different red wines by the glass and they were out of those too. Ordered pasta with mushrooms and no cheese but it came covered in cheese and had to send it back. When it came back it was buried in butter. My wife’s anchovies and my Ligan fish course were really tasty so that was great. The servers were working their butts off but they had way too many tables to cover per person so a lot of waiting around. An incredible location by the seaside - very romantic. Just didn’t come together - can clearly see the potential - just not their night.

The location and restaurant incredibly beautiful. Unfortunately, for this restaurant that definitely got motion star two years ago. I understand why they haven’t gotten one since. The front of the house was very disorganized and to me seem like a bunch of teenagers. They really have very little experience and food service. The food was amazing, which is really sad because it just shows you how that less than excellent service can really affect your entire impression of a place no matter how beautiful it is and how good the food is. The owner really needs to invest in some quality in front of our staff and this place could excel.

It was good but… it wasn’t what I expected. I’ve cooked in restaurants for 7 years with experience in a few fine dining establishments. I do recommend going here but come hungry and don’t have your expectations as high as I did. After seeing the reviews and the reputation I thought it would be a great opportunity for a one of a kind experience. I saw they had a Michelin star from 2019 until 2023, that being said it is not a current star but that alone caught my attention. I got the 5 course option which was reasonably priced and had big portions for what you would usually expect from a menu like this which is not a bad thing at all, just come hungry. The service was good and the pace for each course was ok, I would have liked if the pacing was a bit slower. Staff was attentive and polite but seemed a little more casual than it read online. Not a problem at all but it is important to mention. The food was good and interesting with fun plating and good textures with very tasteful seasoning. Some of the dishes seemed a little repetitive with flavors which usually is something you don’t look for with a multi course menu. In conclusion: it was a good restaurant and a good dinner but the reviews had my expectations higher. They had a Michelin star from 2019-2023. Maybe the owners changed or they had just slowed down and fallen off. Repeat, I do recommend going here but come hungry and don’t have your expectations as high as I did.

Beautiful views and great food! Seafood pasta (special) was delicious. Great flavor and freshness from the seafood. The basil cream pesto risotto was one of the best pestos we had in Italy.
