Ma ciò che rende davvero speciale questo luogo è lo staff: Michela, responsabile attenta e professionale, accoglie ogni ospite con calore e gentilezza; Diego, lo chef, regala piatti di mare sorprendenti per freschezza e creatività, esaltando la tradizione ligure con un tocco personale; e Andrea, il cameriere, è premuroso, simpatico e sempre disponibile a consigliare il vino giusto o raccontare una curiosità sul menù. Ogni dettaglio, dal servizio alla qualità dei piatti, è curato con passione. Un posto che resta nel cuore e nel palato. Consigliatissimo!

Questo ristorante è davvero un gioiello nascosto nel cuore di Vernazza. La location è semplicemente stupenda, con una vista mozzafiato che rende ogni pasto ancora più speciale. A fantastic restaurant, and probably the best we dined at during our trip to Italy. The food was fantastic, the wines were very good (I recommend trying the local Cinque Terre wine), and the staff were brilliant and could not do enough for us. I highly recommend sitting outside, if the weather permits - the view over Vernazza's harbour is second to none. Note that I'd recommend booking in advance, and a 15-EUR pp deposit is required for this, but it's worth it without a doubt.

It was a rainy night so we were unable to dine outside however it turned out to be a most magical and memorable night for us all.The food and wine were fabulous and above all the welcome we received, the wonderful service and incredible kindness outshone everything. During the evening we were introduced to other guests which was so much fun resulting in great conversation and a lot of laughs. To end the evening we were invited to drinks around the bar with the beautiful owner and her staff. Thank you for making this an evening we will never forget ❤️❤️❤️

I had the warm seafood salad as a starter and the tuna with grilled vegetables for the main course. For dessert, I chose tiramisu – and it was absolutely the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve tasted many tiramisus around the world. We enjoyed both the house white and red wines, and they were a perfect match for the meal. The whole experience was exquisite – from the flavors to the atmosphere. Definitely book a table in advance if you want to discover tastes you’ve never experienced before.

Perfect. Not a tourist trap. You may fear that, given the perfect location. It is a fine restaurant. Delicious food. Great wine. Charming service. The location and view are spectacular. Take the standard staircase with steps up. Not the ramp. Once up at the dining level, you then walk around and then down one flight to a meaningfully sized interior room. This is where you will find the host with the reservation list. Reservations are highly recommended and they are only taken over the phone. If you don’t speak Italian, you can rehearse a simple script ahead of time. I spelled it out phonetically. Easy. If you are lucky, you will get Andrea as your waiter. He is extremely knowledgable and charming. We were given a very special table. We enjoyed a leisurely two hour lunch of three courses with an amazing view and cooling breezes. Highly recommended.

We did not have a reservation during the dinner rush and in just a few minutes we had a table on the upper level with the most magical view. The mussles, the pesto pasta, and the whole fish with potatoes was one of my favorite meals of all time! The service was responsive ans not pushy. They were very polite and supportive as well!

I think this was the best food we’ve had on the trip! Waiter was so funny and personable, and his suggestions were fantastic. Super cautious for allergens too, we felt very safe. And the view was unbeatable!

Thier special white fish pasta is out of the world and amalgamation of food coma with some breath taking views of the Cinque Terre, this place is highly suggested by me for lunch and for a beautiful sunset. Remember to book your table well in advance as it is highly in demand.

This place was incredible. The servers were top notch. Both Marco and Andrea took excellent care of us. The warm seafood salad and the squid ink pasta are must have dishes. Both my partner and I were nervous to try squid ink and we were so happy that we did. That dish was a standout for us amongst all of Cinque Terre. The views of this restaurant are absolutely breath taking.

My wife and I came here to celebrate our 30th anniversary and it was absolutely magical. Andrè our waiter was hilarious and super nice and helpful. We ordered the quick ink pasta and grilled seafood…they were both AMAZING!!! The view was astounding and the atmosphere was first class. Also, the house red wine was delicious.

This place is a treasure. From the servers to the food, we could not be more satisfied. The fish is fresh. The people are friendly. Sure, you have to climb some stairs to get into the fort, and the register is inside rather than as soon as you arrive—whatever. We were very very pleasantly surprised, thinking “of course, the place in the ancient tower has got to be a trap, but at least it’ll have a view.” The view was great, and the food was better. I’m truly confused by the negative reviews; perhaps a level of (seemingly unwarranted) entitlement? Grazie, Marco, for making us feel at home. We went for a sunset dinner and came back for lunch. We’re fish people. This is a great find. Make a reservation for a good seat—it fills up quick. Just… don’t show up to the busiest restaurant in town trying to split an appetizer and then throw a fit about it when they don’t love that. Duh. Everyone I saw at both of our seatings was smiling; get the house wine, get the suggested dishes, and be happy in Vernazza. :)

This place is absolutely fantastic. One of the best meals we’ve had in two weeks in Italy. The seafood was grilled perfectly and incredible. The staff was so accommodating giving us the best seat in the house without a reservation by asking politely around 9pm if they had availability. Anything grilled will blow your mind including the vegetables. The mixed seafood grill and salad is off the charts.

An elegant place for lunch or dinner, with an amazing view 🤩 The food was tasty, my friend really enjoyed her seafood spaghetti. I also liked my pesto pasta, it was delicious, but… I personally think it was too expensive. For trofie al pesto I payed 18€ and the portion wasn’t very large. Also, the coperto here is 5€ which is also a lot in my opinion, but I guess you pay for the view 😉 Also, there were not a lot of vegetarian options, but it’s pretty common in this region, where restaurants specialise in seafood. The staff was nice, and on the positive note - a glass of white wine was only 5€, and it was a pretty full glass ✨

We tried this as the location looked cool and food was promising. Let’s just say the anchovies appetizer was incredible as our first time having them. The pesto pasta was the best pesto we have had and I’m quite impressed with the octopus entre! I have had octopus in Michelin restaurants that don’t even come close to this one! There isn’t a day since our trip I don’t think about this meal. If you are able to make reservations, you can get a water front view and those are amazing. We also had their recommended dessert and that was very cool and delicious. Very rare that a complete meal was a success from start to finish. I’m sorry some didn’t have as good as experience but I can only go by our experience and I highly recommend it and would be dying to come back here if we come back to Cinque Terre. Best meal in all 5 towns.

Amazing location with great scenic view! (Depends on luck for weather, outdoor seats) A team of friendly fun owner and staffs, enjoyable meal. Very fresh seafood and well cooked. Extremely flavorful of good quality! Having traveled for a few days in Italy before stopping here, this place served the best seafood meal we had! Highly recommend the lobster dish, dip some bread into the bisque for an extra flavor!

Abbiamo dovuto prenotare due giorni prima perché soprattutto in questo periodo il ristorante è sempre al completo. La disposizione dei tavoli è su 3 terrazze, ognuna di queste è seguita da un cameriere diverso quindi non sfugge nulla. Siamo arrivati alle 19, dopo esserci accomodati al tavolo ci è stato offerto un buon prosecco di benvenuto che abbiamo apprezzato. Abbiamo ordinato dei tagliolini al nero di seppia, davvero eccellenti, e poi spaghetti con le vongole, buoni (vongole pulite bene), il cuoco ha solo ecceduto con il sale, peccato perché per il resto il sapore era davvero buono. Per secondo abbiamo diviso in due un fritto misto di pesce, molto buono il pesce e frittura ben fatta. Abbiamo scelto il vino della casa, un buonissimo vermentino che consiglio vivamente per l’ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. La vista che offre questo ristorante è sicuramente la più bella a Vernazza, a motivo anche di questo il ristorante è molto quotato e alcuni dei tavoli in posizione più scenica sono già prenotati e quando si arriva non si possono più scegliere nonostante il ristorante sia ancora vuoto (come nel nostro caso). Prezzi medio alti, però niente di stratosferico tenendo conto della posizione e anche della qualità del cibo, solo alcuni piatti nel menù mi sono sembrati eccessivi tenendo conto delle materie prime.

Ottima esperienza, avevamo letto alcuni commenti negativi ma non volevamo farci influenzare! Cibo molto buono, personale gentile e location bella! 2 primi, 1 secondo una bottiglia di bianco e una di acqua 100€ testa. Unica nota negativa sono i 5€ di coperto..a me sembra o troppi

Five of us ate here yesterday on October 2, 2025. I made the reservation the day before on their website and I got an email identifying that a deposit of €15 per person was required before it could be confirmed. It also said that a separate email would be sent along with a bill so that I could pay the deposit. Unfortunately, I never got that billing email, but I had hoped that the reservation was still in place because the reservation was made on such short notice. As you may have guessed already, when we got there they did not have a table reserved for us. I showed them the email I received with all of the details listed, but she told me that it was simply a request and that it was not a real confirmation until the deposit was made. I told her that I never got an email asking for the deposit and she just shrugged and told me that she would see what she could do. Thankfully, they managed to get us a table with a nice view, so I am only providing this information as a caution to others to ensure that they reach out to them if the billing email never arrives. Please know that this deposit is only required for groups larger than four people. In order to get to the restaurant you have to climb a steep set of stairs that should not be too difficult unless you have mobility issues. The service and views are wonderful, and the food was good, but not great. It is also a bit more expensive than other restaurants in Italy for what you get, but I think that it is inherent when dining in such a tourist area. As an example, we got a Bruschette starter and it has three fairly large pieces of bruschette and I believe the price was €18. All of the seating is outside and has some sort of view of the water or harbor. They do have an indoor dining area, but it does not look like they seat people there as there is zero view of the sea. Overall, it was a good experience and I would say it is worth the visit!

We were coming down from Castello Doria and decided to stop in this restaurant for lunch. The view was spectacular from the restaurant patio. The patio slopes down towards one side so all the tables are sloping too. The service was good but the food was average. The fried shrimp and squid plate was a little plain and the batter was a bit soft so I don't recommend that dish. The fried fresh fish that another in our group ordered was delicious. After you pay, they give you limoncello and an assortment of biscuits. They have a restroom for customers.

Belforte è un ristorante classico che punta tutto sull’effetto “wow” della sua location davvero unica!💥 Tuttavia il PLUS della location è accompagnato da una buona qualità in cucina (anzi se dobbiamo dirla tutta Belforte è uno dei pochissimi ristoranti delle 5 terre che si “salva”…😥) con piatti ben fatti e buone materie prime. Abbiamo mangiato un ottimo e casereccio polpo con le patate e un altrettanto buono fritto misto. Forse troppo salate le acciughe di Monterosso e molto buona l’orata al forno. Buono il sorbetto al limone e il gelato con le fragole calde. Servizio molto informale.

Location spettacolare, nel più bel punto di vernazza, in una meravigliosa terrazza sul mare. Purtroppo la posizione non è supportata da una adeguata location, né da un adeguato servizio e né da un adeguato prezzo. Per proporre i prezzi presenti in menù si dovrebbe avere maggior cura estetica, maggior attenzione ai dettagli (bicchiere sporco, mancanza dei bicchieri per l'acqua), maggior cura nell'impiattamento. Servizio né si né no, io ho ricevuto il mio piatto diverso tempo dopo i miei commensali, eravamo in quattro. I piatti erano comunque buoni, ma se pago 20 euro un microscopico piatto di paccheri (8 di numero) , mi aspetto che siano almeno ben presentati. Sostanzialmente trattasi di pessimo rapporto qualità prezzo. 5 euro il coperto, davvero eccessivo!!! La posizione e il turismo di massa fanno sì che il ristorante sia sempre pieno, io non tornerei.

Italiani state alla larga!!!! Una posizione favolosa con vista mozzafiato da ogni angolo del ristorante. Peccato che la cucina è molto deludente, nessun piatto ordinato era minimamente accettabile. Frittura unta e bisunta e con zucchine (le zucchine servivano forse per dare quantità e volume al piatto?). Spaghetti alla Bruno con muscoli, vongole e gamberi, praticamente sono spaghetti saltati al pomodoro e alla fine ci aggiungono vongole e gamberi, risultato, gli spaghetti sanno solo di pomodoro. Si paga solo per la posizione. Camerieri molto gentili e cordiali ma troppo sbrigativi.

Purtroppo l'unica cosa positiva è la location, incastonato tra le rocce con una spettacolare vista sul mare. Servizio assente e freddo, il cibo è una vergogna per l'Italia, mi dispiace davvero dirlo ma bisogna migliorarsi. Le trofie al pesto erano crude, immangiabile. Non ho voluto mandarlo indietro solo per non fare storie.. Il piatto di spaghetti con i frutti di mare passabile, troppo pomodoro.

Bellissimo panorama, per carità, ma finisce lì. Ci avete fatto accomodare accanto a tovaglie sporche, con un servizio inesistente: caotico, impreciso e completamente disorganizzato dall’inizio alla fine. Abbiamo chiesto se fosse possibile fumare: risposta affermativa, ma il posacenere è arrivato solo dopo venti minuti. Quanto al cibo, nulla di memorabile: spaghetti sciapi e una frittura discreta – ma, si sa, fritto è buono quasi tutto. Accoglienza? Semplicemente assente. Alla fine ci siamo ritrovati a pagare oltre cento euro per un piatto di pasta, una frittura e una bottiglia di vino: una cifra che avrebbe dovuto garantire ben altro trattamento. Invece ce ne siamo andati con nervoso e rammarico, e la spiacevole sensazione di essere stati presi in giro. Con i clienti anglofoni il servizio è particolarmente premuroso.. magari per semplice spirito d’ospitalità(o chissà cos’altro).Questo posto è poco più che una trappola per stranieri, lontana anni luce dalla vera tradizione italiana. Il consiglio? Cambiate mestiere. Beautiful view, no doubt about that, but that’s where it ends. We were seated next to dirty tablecloths, with service that was simply nonexistent: chaotic, sloppy, and completely disorganized from start to finish. We asked if it was possible to smoke: the answer was yes, but the ashtray only arrived twenty minutes later. As for the food, nothing worth remembering: bland spaghetti and a decent fried dish – but let’s be honest, almost anything tastes good when it’s fried. Hospitality? Simply absent. In the end, we ended up paying over one hundred euros for a plate of pasta, a fried dish, and a bottle of wine – a price that should have guaranteed far better treatment. Instead, we left with nothing but frustration and regret, and the unpleasant feeling of having been taken for a ride. The service is notably warm with English speakers, maybe just their charm or maybe something else. This place is little more than a tourist trap, miles away from true Italian tradition. My advice? You’re in the wrong business.
