Nice place for a meals with family

We had the 3 courses with match wines. Food was great, first time I have been wowed with food in Italy (previous meals have just been ok). We arrived early for dinner as travelling all day and they gave us some aperitif whilst we waited, super friendly and made us feel really welcome.

While wandering around the city, and not having had lunch after work, we found this welcoming place. It looked promising from the outside, as the chalkboard listed a whole range of options. From appetizers to hot dishes, the fact that the kitchen was always open made me feel more at ease entering, considering it was almost 3:00 PM. They welcomed us very warmly. They told me the kitchen was already closed, but the fridge was stocked with gourmet dishes to choose from. So I had them prepare a mixed platter and ordered a glass of white wine. Frankly, I didn't see the time on the glass when I walked in; I'd also suggest making it more visible. We realized they were closing because they'd rightly started cleaning and pulling chairs up from the tables. So when we left, we realized they'd stayed open longer than necessary for us and another couple. I was sorry, I really liked it, but the chalkboard outside created an unpleasant misunderstanding for them, who had to work at least an extra hour. Anyway, thanks.

Restaurant in the heart of Alba. Excellent location. Piedmontese food with takeout available since it also serves deli food. It's a shame the tables are a bit small. But overall, it's a good place for lunch.

This place has a very friendly yet simple philosophy: you can choose mostly traditional dishes from the menu, or you can order appetizers from the deli counter. The only flaw, if I had to find anything I didn't like, was the somewhat sparse counter itself, not because of the products but because of the identical trays and, most importantly, the lack of labels on the front to make it easier to choose. Otherwise, it's good, excellent value for money. Recommended.

A delicatessen that's not a deli. Simple and refined atmosphere. Excellent for a quick lunch, the prices are in line with the location. Wine by the glass is available. I recommend the salad with confit cherry tomatoes! It's great to be able to choose your appetizer directly from the delicatessen display case!

The place was completely empty but after barely greeting us they claimed there was no place when they saw we had a baby. Would be more honest to make it officially an adults only place.
