Great place for a Sunday trip out of town, the place is a bit out of the way and from Condove it is still a good 10 minutes by car, but if you love the hills and simplicity you can't miss it: Simple cuisine but made with love If you love places that are out of the way and not very crowded this is the right one

We went there for lunch today. This trattoria is a small village nestled in the mountains, and we ate typical Piedmontese food with delicious dishes. The polenta concia was fantastic. Quick service, excellent value. We'll definitely be back.

Yesterday we returned with some friends to eat in this warm trattoria where you can breathe an air of home. Already entering with the aromas that can be felt, you realize you are in the right place.... while waiting we feasted our eyes looking at the delicious panorama and then we began to have lunch... WE HAD ASKED TO TASTE A LITTLE OF EVERYTHING AND THE SUPER BINGE BEGAN WITH EVERYTHING EXCELLENT AND MADE BY THEM.... MIXED COLD CUTS, ANCHOVIES WITH GREEN, TOMINI CHEESES, VEAL WITH TUNA, PEPPERS IN BAGNA CAODA,... THEN THE FIRST COURSES ARRIVED: AGNOLOTTI WITH BUTTER AND SAGE AND TAGLIATELLE WITH RAGU,... THEN WE MOVED ON TO THE SECOND COURSES, POLENTA CONCIA WITH WILD BOAR, MUSHROOMS AND STEW AND TO FINISH THE SWEET TIRAMI SU', BAKED PEACHES WITH AMARETTI AND CHOCOLATE AND BUNET CAFFE AMARI ... SUPER LOW PRICE CONSIDERING THE AMOUNT OF THINGS WE ATE .... IT'S WORTH TRAVELLING A FEW KM .... WHEN WE WANT TO EAT PIEDMONTESE FOOD WE KNOW THAT HERE IT'S VERY GOOD ... SEE YOU SOON

I love these places that, without boasting the title "ancient bar... old tavern...", have perhaps been open for fifty years and retain the simplicity of those bygone days. This trattoria, which I discovered purely by chance, is just that. The food is what we might make at home, but the cook is very skilled at preparing it (I mean, just because I made the tagliatelle at home doesn't necessarily mean it's good 😉...). The atmosphere has remained, I think, unchanged since the days of yore, and the service is friendly and simple. Furthermore, this trattoria is immersed in a truly beautiful landscape: it sits atop a hill amidst vast expanses of greenery and chestnut groves... even just walking along the road that leads from Pratobottrile to Muni is a feast for the eyes and a route suitable for everyone. Returning to the trattoria, I'd also like to point out that the prices are more than fair and the portions generous. I've never needed to book, but if there are a lot of you, it might be worth it. It only serves lunch, and on weekends, a late afternoon snack. It has one major flaw, and I still haven't figured out why: outside, despite having tables and a small lawn, it's only a bar, but doesn't serve lunch. But I forgive this place for everything; it makes me feel good! The other day I had an appetizer, polenta with mushrooms (they were delicious; they'd picked a lot of them these days), dessert, coffee, and a quarter of a liter of wine, and I spent 23 euros.

Excellent value for money, the peppers with bagna cauda were excellent among the appetizers, and the polenta concia was sublime. A very nice location, and the trattoria isn't too big, so it's really quiet and free of crowds. Many trails start from here; I recommend a nice lunch to all mountain trekking enthusiasts. We didn't try the main courses because we were very full from the appetizer and first course, but we'll be back and make up for that soon (the view at the nearby tables was very inviting).
