When we visited, there were not a lot of options in Pizzatorre. But the only option was a great one. Tasty pizzas and good beers. Opening hours need to be checked beforehand. During 7 days, we eat there 3 times.

This restaurant and pizzeria offers a welcoming and refined atmosphere, where you immediately feel at ease. The service is top-notch: fast, courteous, and always attentive to customer needs. The pizzas? Simply delicious! Well-leavened dough and tasty combinations to satisfy every palate. Another plus is the convenient nearby parking, which makes visiting even more convenient. Excellent balance between quality and price, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience with traditional cuisine on offer!

Excellent home-style restaurant. ...the venison was something I'd never tried before, sooooo tender and tasty. ...the polenta taragna was excellent. Highly recommended! The staff is family-style and very friendly and welcoming. I come here at least a couple of times a year and have NEVER been disappointed.

Tonight, my wife and I decided to celebrate my retirement with a delicious pizza. We weren't at the usual pizzerias, but we decided to go to Piazzatorre to visit a friend from my youth, Claudio, whom I hadn't seen in a long time. After the traditional greetings, my wife and I sat down at the table and ordered two pizzas with Pinot Grigio. The service was excellent, as was the friendliness and cleanliness of the place. The pizza was fantastic, with compliments to the pizza chef. A big thank you also goes to Chef Stefania for the wonderful chocolate cake. What more can I say, except: we'll be back again... The food is good. Excellent quality platters. The rabbit is very good, reminding me of my grandmother's. Don't expect salami; we're Bergamaschi, a bit reserved, but respectful. Eligio Magri wines are worth trying. The Patrizio is remarkable. The pizza is good. Very fair prices. I like it there. I have a house there, and I go there often.

We stayed in Piazzatorre for a few days, having lunch and dinner at the restaurant. We enjoyed the traditional cuisine, the pizza, and the service from the staff, who were all very friendly. The only downside was the man at the cash register. On our last night, we ordered takeout pizzas and got a good scolding ourselves! We had only asked (on a weekday evening when the place was half-empty) to have the pizzas cut into quarters. 😅

The food was good and the price too. We ate at the restaurant but the pizzas look quite good. It is like you are at home. There are table inside and outside.

Si mangia bene. Taglieri notevoli salumi e formaggi. Coniglio molto buono mi ricorda quello di mia nonna. Vino Eligio Magri una garanzia. Il Patrizio a 25 Euro. Nettare per gli Dei.

La parola che lo definisce bene è buono, un buon posto, non eccelle in nessuna caratteristica discreta location servizio un po' lento ma molto molto cortese i piatti abbastanza ben Serviti e di qualità ma mantengono tutti alcuni difetti nel complesso un ristorante dove tornerei Ma magari cercherei un'alternativa da provare.

We went on a Saturday night. It doesn't have a private parking lot, but there are plenty of free parking spaces around it. The place is rustic, and the staff is friendly. The pizza is good, but obviously it depends on your taste; it's not the Neapolitan thick pizza, so to speak. We were pleasantly surprised when we left because they asked if we could take away the pasta the little girl didn't eat, so they handed us a disposable food container. The little girl only had a scoop of ice cream, and her dessert was half price on the bill. (This was also very much appreciated.) I had read a very negative review about the tiramisu, so I ordered it anyway, and I can say it was good. Okay, not the best I've ever had, but not the worst either; in short, I'd go back.

Nice place, friendly staff, average pizzas, although the crust was quite burnt. The charcuterie board was overpriced for what was offered, both in terms of quantity and quality. For dessert, I ordered tiramisu, and it was definitely the worst I've ever had. A sweet, flavorless, cream-based foam (mascarpone cream is a different story) with four ladyfingers on top. No layers whatsoever. I only ate because money doesn't grow on trees and because I was ravenously hungry.

It pains me greatly to have to write this review because every time I come to this country, this restaurant has always been a regular stop (about 10 years), and I think the food is very good, but tonight's experience was a total disaster. Of course, it can happen on a bad night, but if you make serious mistakes, you have to try to fix them. This review is mainly due to the treatment I received. Reservation at 8:00 PM, and after a prompt, the waitress came to take our order at 8:45 PM without even asking for drinks first. We ordered two braised meats (excellent as always), a pizza, two waters, and a Coke. The drinks arrived at 8:55 PM, and the braised meats arrived at around 9:00 PM. We waited for the pizza. At dawn at 9:20 PM, after the braised meats were obviously well-eaten, we asked for pizza, since the tables that arrived after us already had it on their tables, oblivious to the fact that it was clearly missing from ours. After a couple of minutes, the lady informed us that the order had been mistakenly cancelled, with various excuses related to the busy evening, asking if I wanted the pizza that they would make it for me in a few minutes, but logically I declined at that point, having become irritated and no longer hungry, but that's not all. We went to the cashier, explained the situation in the presence of the owner, and the best she could offer was to prepare the pizza for takeout (I would have expected it to be prepared at least and kindly offered as an apology, since we hadn't eaten!) The icing on the cake, in addition to the braised meats, which were rightfully paid for, was that we were also given 3 place settings, even though we hadn't even eaten, due to a gross error by the staff! (This was also reported to the lady who "served" us at the table). Mistakes happen, but sometimes fixing them is more important. CONCLUSION: 1) IF THE RESTAURANT MAKES ERRORS, IT IS COURTESY AND COMMON SENSE TO TRY TO REMEDY THEM AS BEST AS POSSIBLE. 2) IT'S EMBARRASSING TO EVEN CHARGE A COVER CHARGE FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO EAT. 3) A MORE EXTRA CHECK BETWEEN TABLES TO ENSURE EVERYTHING IS IN ORDER WOULD BE APPROPRIATE. 4) ORGANIZATION PROBABLY NEEDS REVISED. Maybe next year I'll return, hoping to see the restaurant that has kept me coming back for all these years, but this time I was deeply disappointed by the management. Making all the excuses in the world is useless; instead, we need to find solutions. I hope this post can be constructive for the entire staff and that it helps them improve.

We went for pizza last night, as we often do, before returning home on Sunday evening, with family and two small dogs, and it's the last time I'll set foot in this restaurant. The place was very crowded, being August, and so loud that you could barely hear what the person next to you was saying. There were several families with children screaming and crying, and amidst all the confusion, the owner came to our table in a very rude and almost threatening tone, telling us to shut up the dog (who had been barking for maybe less than half a minute) because he was disturbing the other customers. All this while the waitress was at the table taking our orders, and amidst such general confusion that we couldn't even realize the dog had been barking, so loud was the noise in the background. As if, amid all that hubbub, the restaurant's customers had actually complained about the dog's barking (and he wasn't the only one). I would have tolerated the observation if it had been quiet and peaceful, and if the dog's barking would have seriously disturbed the area. And even if—hypothetically—the observation would have made sense because the dog was truly disturbing, there's always a way to address your customers. Respect and politeness should never be lacking. Not to mention that he was addressing a CUSTOMER at his restaurant, who, along with all the other people sitting at the table (regulars, by the way) and the other people in the restaurant, allow him to earn money and keep the restaurant open. And this is even more true if you decide to allow pets in your restaurant (whereas, in a rustic mountain setting, it would be unusual to do otherwise) and therefore you're well aware of the possibility of some barking. If I had to take into account all the noise caused by the children and the people talking very loudly at their tables, then I should have complained too. And while I appreciated this restaurant until yesterday, last night it only took a moment to lose a customer. And again, if we really want to dot the i's, I didn't even find it hygienic when the waitresses, after bringing plates and clearing tables for other customers, added ham and other toppings to the freshly baked pizzas with their own hands (without cutlery or anything else)—hands that were definitely not clean at all or had certainly touched leftovers of other people's food. Nothing to say about the kindness of the staff, which, unfortunately, is compromised by the rudeness of the owner.
