You will be hard pressed to find a cleaner restaurant. The breakfast is excellent and the service is very friendly. For entertainment you can consult the "table of knowledge." A bunch of regulars who solve the world problems over a hot cup of coffee. Don't pass by this place without stopping in. At least get some ice cream. You'll be glad you did.

EXCELLENT UNIQUE PLACE Really wonderful roadside restaurants, super old school and charming. Specializing in a local delicacy called beef on weck which according to a close family member has the perfect combination of roast beef on a bun featuring caraway seeds salt and horseradish. This combination is wonderful unique, and a time-honored long-standing specialty of one family that has made a special spot here. They have an elaborate interesting breakfast menu and we also purchased the hamburger there which was excellent. We got the Swiss and mushroom cheeseburger, and the person mentioned that the beef came fresh from right down the road and the whole thing is very rare unique and special. The service was grea, the atmosphere is unique and it was obvious to everyone there of various types, groups of people and people of all ages loved the food and the atmosphere. Also, my guest purchased the onion rings which she loved, and she loves onion rings. This is a very special spot and if you get a chance it's a local Buffalo area specialty beef on weck which you will not be finding elsewhere. The bun of beef on weck is kimmelweck. So snap up some of their delicious delicacies and they have a lot of ice cream and other treats to add to the overall experience. Special, rare, unique and highly recommended

What a great family owned resturant. I was fortunate enough to meet the owner and got to learn of the rich history of this resturant. The food here is great I had 2 hotdogs cooked on the grill with fried onions and a beef on weck. All three masterfully prepared. They use Zweigle hotdogs and they are amazing. The tea was very good. But most of all the service and the people that own and work there were amazingly friendly. This place is great and I will go back for sure. Thank you The Barn.

Just passing through town and found this restaurant. It’s small and reminds me of the sixties. It’s very nice, food is excellent and prices are great. Staff is very friendly and makes you feel at home. A must stop, if you are traveling and want good home cooked food.

If I lived near by I would definitely be a repeat customer. I hope the opening of their restored building across the street went well. It’s been approximately a year since we were there, I’m moving and was just packing the mug we bought there. They obviously made an impact , this review was long overdue. We live 1500 miles away, if we were near you we would be repeat customers.!!!

My friend Mary and I ate a late lunch at The Barn. We had the special, a Phillie cheesesteak burger! It was fantastic! We looked at the menu and decided we want to come for breakfast, too! The waitress and cook were wonderful! I highly recommend The Barn in Piffard!!

The service was excellent and very prompt without being obtrusive. The young lady did her best as I believe she was the only server working lunch when I visited. There were lots of neat old antiques all over the place and a very enjoyable meal.

As someone who has worked in customer service type jobs, it's important to cultivate repeat business. A little friendlier service with a smile would go a long way. 😀

Cash only, typical diner food. FYI, if someone orders French toast to go, they probably need syrup.

Sitting down service and hospitality was great, order a burger medium it came with a grill charcoal that started choking me and when asked for a drink 3 times by my comrade was ignored so I gave him mine omelet and burnt burger 50$ won't be returning

Basic foods, not a lot of choices. Waitress forgot part of our order, which could be because she was so excited they would be closing soon. She proclaimed that with enthusiasm! Nothing to go out of your way for.
