Cosmic Charlie Cafe

Dropped into this cute cafe this morning as a recommendation from my boyfriend’s sister. It smelled heavenly and there was a nice selection of coffee, teas, and lemonades in my opinion. I went with the Jammburrito with chorizo and a Vietnamese coffee. Bring your appetite for that burrito. It was very good but I couldn’t even get halfway through it lol. The coffee was also fantastic. Service and the atmosphere were great! Good music playing and lots of art and plants. I hope to be able to return on my next trip back to NY!

Our favorite spot in town to grab food and drinks. The tacos are amazing, and the people there are as well. If you’re in town make sure to stop by and give them a try.

This is my new favorite cafe ! What a hidden gem in Geneseo Everything we selected was so good- I mean REALLY GOOD We ordered the Vietnamese Iced Coffee - It was so good We also had an Iced Matcha Latte - it was perfection as well as the Iced Chai tea latte We didn’t plan on eating here - but the drinks were so yummy we decided to sit & try out the menu - we were Not disappointed The breakfast sandwich was made on the softest roll w egg/cheese - again perfection - we also ordered tacos I’ve never ordered Chorizo- but today decided to give it a try I honestly think it was THE best taco I’ve ever had The cheese was melty & warm - the taco shell was crunchy- w the best hint of cilantro - I devoured it & ordered 2 more Proceeded to order the Lunar Lemonade to wash it down -it was ice cold pretty purple perfection in a glass The baristas & servers were so welcoming & kind This place changed my life You need to -go there . . . Now 😁

This place was an unexpected gem. It can be hard to find high quality coffee in a college town but this place is it. I tried the homemade vanilla syrup in my latte and the homemade tortillas with some breakfast tacos. Both were incredibly good. Service was quick and accurate to my order. I’ll be stopping here whenever I’m in Geneseo!

What a fantastic place, I was most impressed with their attention to their customers. In a day and age that you could hardly get a hello from a barista or anyone else who is supposed to walk into a place, this was a welcome change. More importantly, it’s a really cool and chill atmosphere, if it’s nice out, there is some outdoor seating but you’ll probably wanna cozy up inside and enjoy the wonderful offerings. Too bad I wasn’t staying in town longer, super happy I came across Cosmic Charlies.

A great classic coffee shop with real espresso which can be difficult to come by in the area. The vibe was very jam band and rustic which was a cool contrast to some of the ultra hip clean aesthetic coffee shops I've been to. The staff were super friendly and their classic espresso drinks as well as flavored options were great. Will have to go back and try the food as it looked fantastic. A little confusing to get to, but parking on the main drag and walking back and around wasn't too bad and the outdoor space was a cool little alcove. Edit: Finally tried the food and it was fantastic. Very rich, but great quality and taste

Delicious egg, bacon and cheese sandwiches. The bread was very light and not too dense. One was sourdough which was very tasty. The capichino was good but not great. I loved the cup they put it in.

We arrived 10 mins before closing on a Sunday and the staff was so accommodating - ready to serve anything on the full menu and allowed us to stay in the cafe to eat and enjoy the space while they cleaned up. We loved the aesthetic and everything we ordered and are excited to go back again soon!

Tried this for the first time with my partner and we absolutely loved it here from the food to the friendly staff. The service was great and the staff members were cool. The atmosphere was chill and adorable. I got the jammburrito with the chorizo & lavender latte, and he got a regular breakfast burrito with the lunar lemonade (not his usual taste but he loved it, as did I) The pricing was great, but we purchased the burritos which were a more expensive item so we did pay a pretty penny for breakfast, although definitely fair given the size and quality of the burritos. The Other food options allow for a more affordable breakfast, we will be back to try more. Highly recommend. Saw a gluten free and vegan menu available which is nice to see.

We loved this little coffee shop! We stopped here on our way to see the solar eclipse. We ordered 6 different food items and drinks and everything was super yummy!! Highly recommend “2 egg Sammie” with bacon! 👌🏽 The coffee was outstanding. The employees were very warm and friendly. 5 stars all around!

Cosmic Charlie’s is the best spot for food in Livingston County, hands down. The friendly staff bring the kindness of a small town environment, while quality ingredients and equipment ensure excellent food every time. The tacos (with home made tortillas!) are the best I’ve ever had. Bacon / egg / cheese is my go-to. If you are in the mood for a high quality latte or espresso drink, this is the place to get it. They also have a ton of vegetarian and vegan options.

We stopped in on our way from the Finger Lakes back home to the Cleveland area and the visit was a lovely plus to our entire trip experience. The Entire town seemed to be very lovely as well. I wish we could’ve explored more. We will definitely be revisiting if we drive through the area again.

The drink menu is inventive and fresh, with an array of coffees, teas, sparkling beverages and herbal tonics. My hope for CC is that they continue to push the envelope on being the best cafe in the valley!

It was my first time to come in this restaurant because my daughter took me here to treat me for something to eat. I strongly recommend to those who looking for a fresh made sandwiches. They do have other choices other than sandwiches.

Breakfast sandwiches are awesome. I recommend the Jack Attack. All of their brews are hand crafted and delicious and not on the sweet side which is a pleasant delight.

Found this quaint coffee shop en route. The entrance can be a little tricky to find but so very worth it. Great coffee, attentive and kind service and fantastic vibe inside. It seemed like I stepped into a coffee shop from my student years. Also, they make their tea by steeping the leaves and not from tea bags. Very impressive. Readers, please go out and support local coffee shops like these. Otherwise we’ll be left chained in the miseries of chain stores that I won’t name.

The set up is fun as it doesn’t look like the standard coffee shop. My latte cardamom vanilla tasted great, but I wish there were more dessert options - all there was available were two GF chocolate chip cookies.

Best breakfast style burrito you can get in this area. I recommend the Jamburrito. They were very busy it was a Saturday, I waited in a long line for an online order, also had to go back to the counter for missing bakery items. They should add a pick up line and have someone check orders. I would come back for that burrito if the cashier slapped me in the face though.

Coffee is great. I assume they forgot to take this plastic piece on my cheese for my bec. Only noticed it half way through my sandwhich.

My best friend and I have come here many times for tacos. She’s vegan so she orders the VEGAN tacos. There have been 3 or 4 times that she’ll take a bite and get an allergic reaction (she’s allergic to dairy, eggs and chicken). The first 3 times her throat was itchy but she was able to wait it out. Today, she got the VEGAN TACOS, and she’s covered in hives with a horrible stomachache. She’s genuinely scared. Don’t order anything vegan from here because 4/5 times it will not be vegan. update: she’s in the hospital because she went into anaphylactic shock😀
