I've always liked the food and environment here but tonight they outdid themselves. We just wanted a low-key last minute dinner on Valentine's Day, and they made it so special in their always comfortable environment. They offered a rose to every table, a complimentary glass of wine with dinner, and Hershey kisses after. Just the little things that they definitely didn't have to do, but that extra thought is why we eat local and eat in our small towns. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

Excellent ambience. Hot and fresh food that tickles your taste buds. Definitely a hidden gem in the vicinity or Mt. morris.went with my family of 6 and we had a sumptuous lunch. They have a full stocked bar. They allow pets, although only with the outside tables. Clean and well maintained facility. Kudos.

Popped in here while on a road trip. Parked down the street, took a small walk down the main road and stumbled upon a beer sign. Was very very surprised to see quite the selection of craft beers and amazing top shelf whisky. I wish we were staying the night in town so I could fully appreciate the selection. The lovely bartender helped us chose from the selection and also gave us some insight about the town and region.

We had a solid evening at this place despite the wait. It was pretty busy, so we ended up waiting about 30 minutes to be seated. Once we got in, we ordered drinks and some food — the drinks were okay, nothing remarkable, but the food really hit the mark. The wraps and wings were flavorful and well-prepared. Our server was attentive and kept things moving once we sat down, which helped make up for the initial wait. The atmosphere was lively and fun, which made for a good backdrop to the meal.

We ordered the Mac n cheese, fries, pulled pork sandwich, and onion rings. The Mac n cheese was some of the best we’d ever eaten. Portions were large. All of the food was tasty. Waitress was friendly and super helpful.

We dined at High Banks Tavern on a recent trip to the area. We were staying within walking distance of the restaurant which was convenient after a five-hour drive. My husband enjoyed the Letchworth burger served with Cole slaw. I had a French dip with tater tots. The roast beef was good; however, the tots were tasty but fell apart when picked up and were more like hash browns.

Great service. Very good food. The only reason for one less star is that the buffalo sauce was okay. It tasted tomato-ey. Beside that I recommend going and enjoying yourself! Very extensive beer and wine menu also!

The restaurant atmosphere is good. But the reason for the 1 star food rating, as well as the 1 star service rating is I never received my food and our waiter Sandy was terrible. I just sat, and waited and waited and waited. If you decide to come make sure you see anyone but Sandy to serve you.

Never cleaned our table, or gave us silverware. Waited over an hour just to get our appetizers, after personally going to the bar to ask for them. Had to get my own drinks from the bar, and most of the food was burnt and not even edible. Very poor experience, and will choose to eat elsewhere next time.

Fish fry tasted like it was cooked last week and put under a heat lamp. Dry and not hot. Ordered a replacement broiled fish but never got it.

0 stars all around. Quite literally the worst burger I have ever had. I never write reviews, but this food was unacceptable. I ordered the Swanson burger and it failed to have 90% of the toppings that are supposed to be on it including: lettuce, tomato, bbq sauce, onion rings, or pork. Ordered it pink and it was extremely overcooked. I understand ordering ‘with pink’ can be a lot to ask but if it’s an option not sure why ask and then deliver an extremely overcooked/burnt patty. Also I asked for pickled red onions to be added to my burger and got ‘add pickles’ ‘add red onion’ (which already come on the Swanson). Paid for a burger with all the works and got cheese, pickles and onions. That’s it. This is not acceptable! Overcharged for the extras and paid for a burnt, dry burger that had no toppings! Do not come here!

Asked for pink and got a dry overcooked burger. Rueben legs were bland. No bread/croutons in French Onion soup. Bacon jam on burger was good.
