When I was a little girl , my mother and aunt always went to mount pleasant Texas to get some Pittsburgh highlights with the chili sauce wrapping the Brown paper all within the best of all time. Now I am sixty four years old i've gotten 6 package of Pittsburgh hotlings, my son and his wife ate them all they love him, but I told my son the best way for me. I like him cooked on the grill or were they wonderful when my neighbor cooks for me, my son never had it cooked on the grill. But once he tried or did he fell in love with them? And that's why I want to buy a case of Pittsburgh highly with the chili sauce that go with it. So please help me get what I want is for my children's so we can have a good time this summer. Thank you.\nFor your peace bird hotlings
Would definitely recommend this place if you love links, I grew up in the area and moved to Dallas for 7+ years and made it a priority to come here every time I got the chance, I finally decided to move back near the area just because I got tired of driving from Dallas so often. So yes this place is AMAZING and the atmosphere has never changed over the years, the only thing that has changed over the years is where they placed their hat collection.
First time here. Told the nice lady behind the serving counter I've never eaten here. She quickly cut a hot link off and cut it in half for me to sample. I then ordered the 10 link plate with 2 sides. Beans and chili, I was told to get by a friend. The links are small but pack a punch. I was instructed to dip the hot link into the chili and put on a saltine cracker with grated cheddar. Let me tell you how good that was. The texture is like boudin. The flavor was great. Definitely hit the spot. They also had potato salad, squash/zucchini, and other sides I can't remember. Definitely worth it. The fountain drinks had plenty of selections too. Thanks y'all for being so nice
This place is gggrrreeeaaattt👍👍👍☝️☝️☝️🤩🥳. Awesome food, super friendly staff, awesome food, a little pricey but worth every penny. Awesome food, small town charm, awesome food, nice decor. Did I mention awesome food?😁 In all seriousness go there. I had a burger and fries and an extra link. The links are delicious.
I've been eating hot links in Pittsburgh since 1977 .. every time I return it's a trip down memory lane and a taste of my childhood. The main event here is of course the hot links .. for the traditional experience hot links, saltine crakers, and hot sauce are all you need .. however the menu has plenty of other fare on offer and you can't go wrong with any of the items .. if you're not having hot links I recommend the cheeseburger and hand cut fries. Either way you're in for a treat.
Great food, welcoming service, and an instant wave of nostalgia overwhelms you even if you've never ate there.

I usually eat a burger there then buy around 3 dozen or so to bring back home. The burgers are great and I have heard that the fried catfish is good too.

This seems to be a local institution specializing in hot link sausages, but also brisket, German sausage, hamburgers, chili etc. Pretty active around lunchtime, but line moves fast. Not nearly as expensive as a big city counterpart. The side vegetables looked especially good and they have a reasonable variety. - hot cabbage, greens, potatoes mixed with trimungs, fried okra, etc. If you want something slightly different, but not too far out, this is a good deal. A good size three meat special, with brisket, hot links, German sausages, two sides of choice, plus an included drink were to be had for under $17 including tax. You can't beat that for value.
My husband has been craving Pittsburgh hot links and talking about them for 4 years now. This place was a planned stop while on a very long road trip all the way from Montana. The links were very yummy and just as my husband described them. The customer service was very poor tho. No communication, not very welcoming, if it wasn't for my husband wanting to eat here fir the last 4 years I would have turned around and left half way through our ordering process. Leaving 4 stars only because the links were good and I'm intrigued by the history of this place. Hopefully if we ever visit again it'll be a better experience.

The food was lacking in flavor and texture. The hot links and chilli were below average today. A lot of people had recommended it. But I will not be back

Been wanting to go for YEARS..very disappointed today as a first timer.it was me and my baby niece...the lady up front with accent wasnt very nice..i told her it was my first time amd i wasnt ready..got the 10 pc special..sides were very bland and super limited..I sd I would like double squash and she seemed agitated and gave me 1 bowl..the cashier shook her head and gave me my other bowl that came with it..the first lady didnt provide or offer me hot sauce but I heard her ask every single person after me if they wanted any..I thought it would be on the tables, but it wasnt, so i asked the other NICER lady for some and she shook her head in disappointment when I told her they didnt offer me any and she was happy to help..the cashier was threatening that she was gonna quit (sounded like there was an internal fued going on)it is very expensive for the options available. I tried it and happy I finally did, but it will be my last..I hope the customer service gets better and everyone gets treated the same in the future..
We travel from around FT Worth, about 2 hour, to get hor links and one of the best cheese burger in Texas. This is the first time the service was terrible. We order 60 links, a double cheese burger, a big cheese buger and fried okra. First issue was my wife ordered fried okra after we paid we were told they did not have any, and ask to pick something else. There was nothing she or I wanted but since we paid already we got curly fries. When we got our order there we not double cheese burger. So we went up and ordered it again as it was not on the first order. Then we waited another 20 mins for it to come out. All of our oder was a togo order and they brought out the double cheese burger in a basket and then as oh do you want that togo. So then they took it back to put it in atogo container. The food is always great but the service was really lacking this time.
It was a stop we had to make being it's famous. It was very popular however it just wasn't my cup of tea. I'll stop again just won't order the hot links

It's kinda run down, kinda greasy, but I'll go every single time I'm in town and take some to go! Something about it just keeps me coming back for some greasy little links and delicious hot sauce!!
burgers are good, but SLOW to come out.\nDon't care for their world famous beef hot-links. It's apparently an acquired taste.\nThere is no doubt that PHL has a strong following; busy at lunchtime &…
Hotlinks are very good!!!!!!!! Hotlinks are very good!!! And the strawberry cake !!!! Ice tea is very refreshing!!! My favorite is the cheeseburger and onion rings!!!
Their customer service is good. Their southwest wrap is good. The cleanliness sometimes isn't so great, their hot links aren't that great.

The lady at the front was super nice but the food was not good and mine came out super late and wasn't even the correct thing. It was very disappointing. If I had this food served to me at someone's house I would just think "well, not everyone can cook." It was edible, like it was gross it just wasn't good. And we were so excited to try it. Fed the leftovers to the dogs. They enjoyed it.
Food is good but the service was terrible, very rude employees, was really rude to us, when our order was ready, they didn't call us, they only rang the bell until we payed attention, this place we…
Absolutely terrible customer service . Would give zero if we could. . We had never been here before. I ordered four beef hot links and for some reason ended up with 20 after asking for help because…
Everything about this place was pretty bad. Food: Those links they are famous for are nasty. Really nasty. The chili (what little they give you like two little bites) was watery and just yuck. Burger was fair but barely any meat and huge bun. Onion rings were only decent thing. Cleanliness: The condition of the restaurant was horrific! Ceiling leaking water (or I’m scared to ask) all over me, floors sticky, tables need a good washing, seats in booths are all ripped up, the caps on the wall are cool but damn they should be taken down once year to wash. The doors I didn’t even want to touch. Service: everyone did seem nice enough. Where did these reviews come from? Smells good, looks cool, but it’s neither. Really.
