The food and services was great

Staff is wonderful...I had to send back my food twice as it was cold, but the waitress was so lovely and I've been here quite a few time, I wouldn't allow this one experience to spoil my night. Hennessey wings are my go to along with the drinks.

This is the place to go if you want to have some good drinks with friends and family. BBQs is well known for it sticky honey wings, which are really large and tasty. Over the years they have been improving on there menu by adding different and more healthier options. Very friendly atmosphere and the service is fast on non busy days. The days that there are big events like mothers trying to get a seat can take at least an hour to be seated. Overall I love going here even if it just for the drinks.

Our server Telly was amazing and the food was so good. I had the specialty watermelon drink with a ciroc shot and moscato which they are currently advertising, Sriracha crab cakes, a side of rice, and 5 sticky wings. The food was freshly made and came out pretty fast. Compared to the BBQs in Brooklyn, the customer service and food preparation was good.

Great time with good people. Found out the same day my mom and my friend had cancer. What a day and it was an amazing day! Great food and service with great vibes is a plus.

Leslie was a great waitress, she took our order promptly, and the wait for the food was not long, esp since the place was packed. Food came out fresh, hot and presented well. Don't hesitate to stop in and sit down to enjoy a family meal here. The menu selections are vast.

Favorite location and place to be. My family and I always enjoy a great meal ...well worth the drive ... we/I wasn't 100% happy with our server on this occasion but the drinks were so good and meal hot hopefully she has a better day... sticky wing lover 😋

The hot wings were AMAZING & the drinks were pretty good. It’s a nice spot to go to for a family night out, date or even birthday. Can’t wait to come back! It was about $150-$200 for 4 people, that includes an appetizer, drinks, and a regular meal.

My first time here and it was an experience. Eventhough we weren't really in Texas, everything was done BIG! The chicken was great and so were the drinks! The menu has plenty of variety. Our waiter was cool. He would get lost pretty frequently and forgot one of our meals, but it's ok. Some of the food was really greasy, but we sent it back and received food that wasn't as greasy. I'd go back when visiting New York.

My daughter had reserved our table for mother's day for me! So, we went straight inside of the restaurant! We didn't have to wait! The service was pretty fast considering all of the food I had ordered. I loved the margarita drink that I had ordered with one shot in it! It was the perfect alcoholic beverage for me anyway. Even my husband enjoyed that drink. The macaroni cheese was delicious and the cornbread in addition to the other food that I had ordered. That was my favorite food besides the baby back ribs and steak, chicken Combo order. My daughter loves the macaroni and cheese & the chicken strips. Me and My family had a great time eating there! Also, the prices are more reasonable now then they use to be a couple of years back! As you can see in the pics we had fun and We were Happy!😊❤️

The food the customer service and the atmosphere was very impressive to say the least. The drinks are excellent.This particular location has parking which is very convenient. I had the new drink called the Tie-Dye Nutcracker which was excellent. The drink was a work of culinary art and extremely tasty. I’m looking forward to going back. I haven't been here in ages. I used to live in CT so the drive was relatively short before. I stopped by on my way back home this past Sunday. It was after 8pm. My party of 2 were seated right away. It's cool that they have hot in addition to Hennessey and sticky flavors now. We ordered the wing combo (sticky & Hennessey), Hennessey ribs, and fries. I have always liked the sticky wings better than Hennessey flavor, but the Hennessey flavor was just terrible this time around. The BBQ Flavor was not tasty at all. The sticky wings are also different. They tasted more like Carolina BBQ sauce, which happens to be a favorite of mine. I loved them, but was definitely looking for that old sweet and sticky flavor. When I had leftovers the next day, I noticed the old flavor mixed in with the Carolina BBQ flavor. The ribs are fried with batter. I tried it the next day as I was full Sun night and hated it. My friend enjoyed the ribs and wings. My vanilla colada dousse drink wasn't very tasty. Pros: Seated immediately. Waitress was great. Affordable prices. Drink looked 👌🏽.

This location is huge. Our server definitely made the vibe and experience way better had a few drinks and there sticky wings this day and the sticky wings always hit. Pro tip if you ask to have your wings cut in parts they will always say no for whatever reason just act like they have done it before and they will do it. Bbq is not the best bbq at all but it’s consistent and hits good this spot is especially good for larger groups they have lots of room and different areas that have different vibes

The only thing I did not like was the waitress imposing her own tip after bringing us the bill. We told her how much to charge each of us and she told us that wasn't enough. The food was succulent and the drinks were hypnotic. This was 2019

I ordered the boneless sticky wings & a side of fries. The wings were cooked to perfection & dripping heavily with that nice, sticky, tasty honey BBQ sauce! It was absolutely delicious! Their fries are the best! They were well made, with a nice soft texture on the inside. It's no wonder that their lines are always extending to the outside. I called them ahead of time to place my order for pickup. The service was prompt & efficient. The servers were kind & professional. I highly recommend them to others.

Really surprised at how expensive this place has gotten. Used to be able to grab some wings and corn and not break the bank smh the prices are now outrageous smh food was good but I'll be very cautious of going back .... 16 dollars for a Texas size virgin pina colada is insane

Love the fact that parking is free at this location. This is probably the biggest of all the locations. Not a regular, but the food is food. Ribs, steak, and shrimp is a good option. The salmon is very good as well.

We went during late afternoon/early evening. It was very empty as I expected for a Monday. My pina colada was good & service was pretty fast. It was very clean & quiet, we didn't have to yell at each other to be heard. If possible I would go back at this time.

When I got to there. As I walk in. There was two young lady just staring at us instead of greeting us. They were very nasty! Beside that the waitress amenta was amazing if it wasnt for her I would of left. The food was delicious and they didnt take long

We visited Dallas BBQ after a long day out and we were all extremely hungry. The food did take awhile to arrive but we were a large group. Upon arrival the portions were huge! I do wish the server had warned us that our hunger was maybe leading us to over order. I was especially shocked with the kids meals that came with two extra sides not even mentioned on the menu. The chicken strips were also way too large for the average child to eat. As an adult I would have also struggled to complete the kids plate. The food was tasty and I especially enjoyed the cornbread and shrimp. We took home the leftovers and the meat was eaten the next day but the fries were not great fresh and much worse a day later. We also had some of there large cocktails, these were delicious and very shareable portions. 😁 Nice atmosphere and service overall.

Ribs were very tasty and tender shrimp fresh and tasteful now chicken delicious but a bit too sweet for my taste on the honey chicken ,cornbread same as it was from years ago tasteful. If you're looking to settle in, they also offer a "Texas-sized" option, which is a great value. ​For dinner, I had the combo meal with salmon and shrimp. The shrimp was good, but the salmon was a bit on the dry side, and the yellow rice needed a lot more seasoning to elevate the dish. My husband went for the ribs and sirloin steak. Coming from Texas, our BBQ standards are notoriously high, so while the ribs were decent, they weren't able to completely satisfy our Texas-trained taste buds. The cornbread was flavorful but also quite dry. ​Despite the minor food critiques, our entire experience was saved by our excellent waiter! They were attentive, friendly, and made sure our glasses were always full. ​The Verdict: Come to Dallas BBQ for the fantastic drinks and great atmosphere (and the wonderful service!), but set your BBQ expectations accordingly if you're a serious pitmaster purist.

Ok this location is pretty good, Your right in the Mall, I was seated pretty fast, the server was polite and helped with a lot of questions I was asking. The Bathroom is located on the second floor, there is a Slow ass elevator you can take if the stairs are not your friend that day. This place is actually huge, I walked all the way to the other side to notice a kinda Private party section and Another Huge seating area. The staff was attentive and if your not to sure about a Drink ask for a Sample, they will give you one. That way if you don't like it there's no need to go Texas size and regret it. The manager was amazing and that how I honestly found out about samples and alternatives. So in a nut shell should you come here for some Sticky wings and a drink and have a pretty great conversation and hang out sure. It's not too loud , at times the seating can be cramped but remember your here with the people you came with. Sometimes you might even make a new friend over the same order you just made.

My son took me, my mom, my sister and youngest son out for late lunch. What I like most is there is parking available and the place was not crowded. Our server was good and our food was good. Even though I was not a fan of the ribs, the yellow rice or the lemonade, I enjoyed my salad, 1/2 of a chicken, my wings and my meal, overall. You can't really go wrong with dining at BBQ's.

I love me some BBQ'S but for some reason, this one was not hitting. I know nothing will be like the BBQ'S in the west village from back in the day. The 42nd st one is as close. This one, we drove down craving A Pinacolada. We arrived it was packed, alot going on. It's in a plaza, so at least you get free parking. They seated us quickly. Everything was quick, like fast in and out. The wings were the biggest wings I've ever seen, like what type of chicken that came from? The server was very sweet, I must say. The food was just bland and under cooked. The beef ribs were salty and hard. I'm mad we drove 2hrs in the rain, but we made the best of it.

I come to this location often and dined in Yesterday with my family. I ordered the turkey chili for the first time and although it tasted good I found a piece of metal inside my chili. Not sure if during cooking something came loose above the pot or if it was a part of the pot. I did bring it to my servers attention and they did quickly switch it out.

First, I have to say that I am picky and critical and most people don't criticize and analyze as hard as I do. I have high expectations where I spend my money. I have had a few dishes ribs, chicken, burgers etc. the usual. I like the broccoli only tempura the most tostones and if I am in the mood the chicken wings from the dinosaur age. It's usually busy. I went on Saturday 6/22/19 and I was happy my broccoli tempura was fresh, light and airy. I should've taken a pic that day but I started eating it in the car. My son and I shared a half portion and it left me wanting more. I decided to go again today 6/25/19 take out again because its packed. Once again, it was not the same as Saturday...this time I took a picture. My experience with this Dallas BBQ is hit or miss. I am assuming its staff or management related. Either way, I would have to ask how often is the oil changed that has to be why my tempura fluctuates..but if you want a drink !! Those are great! UPDATE: Went back 7/6/19 and my tempura was fresh! PIC ADDED.

The location is great and the waitress was very nice so that is why/how you earned the 3 Stars, however, the food I ordered as you can see came out burnt, The fries were lukewarm, the sprite tasted like pure seltzer water. Maybe next time you can do better.

Good food if you don't care about counting calories. Definetly get the wings and one of the largest alcohol drinks. Comfortable place for hanging out with friends to unwind.

Chicken is probably your safest bet everything else is poorly made… Guac and chips were bad too much cilantro no flavor at all it was also served over lettuce which was weird…. Salmon was served over pita bread another weird combo everything was brought abit cold along with the shrimp it was disappointing given the fact that we waited about 10mins after being seated to get a waiter to our table. The server was nice but thankfully we ordered everything at once because we never saw him again til he asked us if we were ready for the bill. Drink was ok but not worth coming back. Coleslaw was ok , fries were bad could tell it was cooked in bad oil :/

Dallas BBQ is solid and affordable “fast causal” style food in a full service restaurant. If you stick to what they are known for, you will enjoy it. Get the rotisserie chicken with whatever sides you like and the onion loaf. Service is usually rushed, but that’s ok - you are here for affordable decent food - not a high end romantic restaurant. Restrooms are high traffic and a bit questionable in cleanliness - and down this weird hallway on the second floor. Would I go back to this location? I personally prefer the Manhattan ones, but this is a good substitute if I’m in the area!

American food menu fried or baked chicken, ribs( beef and pork) steak , seafood ect.... really good fried vegetable tempura. the service varies from location to location. they will sing their own version of happy birthday to you if let them know it is your Birthday. Texas size drinks with alcohol or virgin. usually crowded expect some wait time. most locations have free parking. really good jumbo fried chicken wings.

Ok food. It's a chain BBQ place, so nothing to wow about. Service was good and quick. We ordered and less than 10 minutes later we had our food. The price was a little high but not excessive. We were there for a long time just chatting it up and I didn't feel pressured like we had to leave. They include gratuity (tip) automatically so just be aware in case you don't want to double tip. Also they split the bill which is a nice plus. Overall regular BBQ spot, but real good service and environment, that's a little on the high side in price.

My Husband and I went here for lunch the food was okay. We enjoyed the Vegetable Tempura the most as it was crunchy and flavorful. The Hostess at the front lacked professionalism, we waited about 10 minutes to be seated. Overall experience 3/5.

The wait for a group table was disappointing because my entire group wasn't here, and until the entire group arrived, we had to wait. Once we were finally seated, the rest of the event was wonderful. Our server was incredible, and food didn't disappoint.

Food portion is declining while prices are increasing. They give you less ribs and added a "double the size" option for more money but it's just the amount they used to give you before. Service is always great but it's becoming less affordable. One of the things I loved was taking leftovers home but now you can finish your entire meal in one sitting. Corn bread portion is smaller too.

It’s my sisters birthday so we came here for food but mainly drinks. The “lady” got most of the order wrong. Ordered corn and she brings cornbread. Ordered sliders and fries, I get a ginormous burger. Asked for regular size drink and she brings a very strong Texas. I was very annoyed to say the least. Then when we asked her to correct it, she insisted that was what we ordered. The replacement food that came was cold and not even presentable. I worked in food service before and everything she did was sooooo wrong. She was nice and very apologetic but still. The manager came to “make it better” but honestly whatever. Not my best experience there. I get that staff is short but please take the time to train staff way better.

A GUACAMOLE SCAM There seems to be a problem with their guacamole. When one orders guacamole, whether small or large, one expects guacamole. What one does not expect is a cup full of raw onions topped with a thin frosting layer of guacamole. A large cup of guacamole is $12.99. Imagine paying that much for a tablespoon of guacamole & raw onions. As this recent incident was my third incident this year, one can deduce that this is no error. I hate to say it, but this reads SCAM. They scam you into believing you have guacamole when what you have is raw onions hiding under a frosting of guacamole. When I asked the person, who took my order, if they could please ensure no onions in the cup, she said ok, but I still received a cup full of onions for $12.99. As for Ceasar Salad - you have to break down the ingredients because they put tomatoes in ceasar salad - ceasar salad is just Romaine Lettuce

The food was disgusting. The chicken was dry, cornbread was meh and had no flavor, Cole slaw was watery and the fries tased reheated. The dishes looked like they were rinsed off and reused. Floors were sticky and the seating is very tight. Wasn’t worth the money and coming from out of town and eating here was a disappointment. The bathroom was nasty Elevator never showed up and had I looked in the what looked like an ice machine area when I walked in to be seated, I would’ve walked right out. I’m not a NYer but I see it’s a popular spot. To each his or her own. Our wait staff were ok I took no pictures and left. Waste of money

Ordered pickup today and talked to both people at take out 4 TIMES to ask about my order just to find out they gave my order to someone else. No apologizes or discount was giving after waiting for almost an hour. Will be ordering from another location because this unacceptable!

The shrimp wasn't bad but the fries tasted like they were made the day before and reheated. Old and soggy. I also don't like how they just serve big chunks of vegetables with the meal.

BEWARE: NO REFILLS, FOLKS! I visited this establishment with my family to celebrate a birthday, and unfortunately, our experience was far from what we had hoped for. The service was mediocre at best, and here's why: We were seated in the back corner of the restaurant, in the large party section. The waitress took our drink and appetizer orders promptly, and the appetizers arrived quickly—no complaints there. But that’s where the positive experience ended. After waiting almost an hour for our entrees, I was shocked to learn that refills were not offered—at least, not without being charged full price. When I asked the waitress for refills, she informed me that we’d have to pay for them, even though we were given the option of "regular" or "large" when we first ordered. At no point was I told that refills would not be available or that we would be charged extra. It’s hard to understand why a restaurant would have a "no-refill" policy, especially when you make customers wait nearly an hour for their meals. The place wasn’t even busy, which makes the delay even more concerning. While the food itself was good, the service and lack of communication left a bad taste in my mouth. Sadly, I won’t be returning to this establishment again. With the no-refill policy and slow service, it’s simply not worth it. And unfortunately, this means my entire family—my kids included—will be looking elsewhere for our future dining experiences. Goodbye, BBQ. You’ve lost a customer for life.

What a horrible experience, ordered food and the chicken wings was not cooked properly, the tempura was soggy and now my niece is stuck with dry chicken. I asked for the honey and sticky sauce on the side and received soy sauce and ketchup. I called BBQs to get some resolution and all they could tell me is that they would give me credit. Which meant now I am without food. People order through Uber Eats so that they physically don't have to leave their home. What kind of nonsense is this. Never again. I will continue to repost over and over again. See the picture and you be the judge.

My meal was horrible. The fries were hard, and the ribs were dry. The host was great, not her fault, what comes out of the kitchen. The fact they didn't wait to sweep until we got up! Granted, when we get up, the next party gets seated, but they should wait until the table is done with their meal.

Horrible service. Came in with my husband and three of the children (one is a toddler). We were seated in a back area by an emergency exit by ourselves. The waitress finally came over after about 10 minutes stating she didn’t know we were back there which I had just stated to my husband prior to her walking over. We placed our drink and appetizer order and I also included my toddlers meal so he could start eating and be less fussy. We waited and once the drink came out about another 10 minutes later a party of 24 people were seated. Our waitress went and took their drink orders and left them. We continued to wait and after about 10 minutes she came and asked for our meal orders. We place them and waited. Do you know the party of 24 who came maybe 15 minutes after us got their ENTIRE MEAL ORDERS and we were still waiting on appetizers and toddler meal. FIFTY SEVEN MINUTES has passed and still no food but the waitress was shocked because we didn’t want our order after she FINALLY came back and asked was our appetizers out yet. The MOD wanted to go back and forth but my husband works as a kitchen manager for a very established restaurant so he knows the in’s and outs of what’s supposed to happen. We ended up spending $50.58 for drinks we finished maybe twenty minutes after our family arrived and was seated. Mind you we waited 30 minutes to get a table. This was the worse service and I would highly recommend finding another Dallas BBQ to go to because this one isn’t it!!!

We were a party of 3 at a table where the waitress was doing the bare minimum. We kept asking her for wet naps and extra napkins and take out containers which we didn’t get. She never cleared off the table of the glasses or plates that were already empty. I went to complain to the manager which said ooh I will get you wet naps and I said we were already done. He didn’t get up to walk over to see which waitress or anything and said next time we come back to go to him first. Like we were ever planning on coming back! Nothing was done to satisfy our complaints. Horrible management and horrible service!

Wow, l orderd take out for 4 adults and this had to be the worst bbq restaurant ever. The ribs was tuff and for spending $170. The meat is suppose to fall off the bone and it doesn't taste good.

I came here on a Monday afternoon for lunch. The place was not crowed at all which made it a more peaceful environment. Usually when they are crowed, it's a nightmare with the pop up amature low budget clientele mixed in with family diners👪. So as for the food, I ordered the Hennessey wings. The sauce had an unexplainable taste. Not sure what happened, but it was just purely not worth ordering form there. Hence wings is a new trend its only about 10 yrs+ old. Seinor kitchen staff/Chef needs to taste every sauce before its served for the day. Now, how can you totally fry 5 pices of chicken wings and all the wing tips are still cold? How does this work? Who is monitoring the food service here. The fried crab was ok; however, it is not worth the 11 dollars for the 6 little fritters. How can a major chain screw this one up, while chain stores can get them right. The Texas size drinks are always on point here so no complaints on the drinks. From my opinion, this place is not worth it, unless you come for drinks.

The food was okay. They wanted to charge $1 dollar for BBQ Sauce what!! Crazy that should be included will not go back again the music was way to laud

Food was horrible my steak had taste and looked liked it was preheated from the night before. My wifes salmon also had no taste and dry. My sons burger was ok. But my sons burger was just ok. Terrible first experience and will not return.

On special days they should have extra people working so things can run smoothly. I got there and we waited around 5 minutes to be seated and that was great because it was extremely packed. However, to order it took like 15 minutes before someone came to put table to take our order, ok. Then we got our drinks, ok. Now, we waited for our food and our and it was shrimp tacos and chicken and waffles, ridiculous, on top of that, my tacos were cold like it came out of the freezer. I was so pissed because I was so hungry and we waited soooo loooong for the food. Never again, we got an order of churros and it was so disgusting, the chocolate tasted super cheap and nasty.

If zero stars were an option for a rating, I’d definitely choose zero stars. I had a live small roach on my food. I couldn’t even take a picture before I stood up with the feeling of wanting to regurgitate my food. My server took my food before I can even take a picture. That is just extremely disgusting, definitely don’t recommend to anyone.

I wish I could give this place a five-star rating because the waitress was incredibly attentive and great. However, I had a terrible experience when we finished paying. As we were sitting down, we saw a roach crawling right in front of us! I’ve never been so disgusted in my life. I definitely won’t be coming back here to eat.

Me and my girlfriend when to eat on 10-12-2025 food was horrible my girl askfor a caesar salad 1st was full of tomatoes no croutons and its full of vinegar so bat to a point she had to throw up i ask for a steak with french fries and was ok but the fries was soak in oil cound not even taste it of how horrible it looked. Ask for lemonade and taste like water had to change for coke. Had to call a maneger and he looked mad dint charge me for the food but yes the sodas. I dont recommend it at all. Will never go back.

Nasty expensive food! Charged me $40 for 1 rib and a nasty potato. Please view pics. Bad service. I paid all that money for a slice of meat and a big bone. It was also under cooked. Will never eat there again!

I feel compelled to share what happened during my family’s visit to Dallas BBQ at Bay Plaza on 6/25/2025. We went there to celebrate a once-in-a-lifetime milestone: my niece’s high school graduation. This was supposed to be a joyful day for my family, including my infant niece who is autistic and my nephew who is blind. We made special arrangements so they could enjoy this celebration together. Unfortunately, the experience turned into something I wouldn’t wish on anyone. During our meal, we were served food that was contaminated in an unacceptable way — there was a giant water bug under the meat in the food. This caused severe distress to everyone at the table. Some family members became physically ill, and the emotional impact on my autistic niece and blind nephew was devastating — they were terrified and confused, and it ruined a moment that can never be replaced. Afterward, I made multiple good-faith attempts to resolve this directly with Dallas BBQ’s management by phone and email. They repeatedly ignored my emails and never provided any meaningful solution or compensation for what happened. I share this so that others are aware of what happened to my family. I truly hope no other family ever has to go through something like this, especially when trying to celebrate such an important life moment with loved ones who have special needs. I will update this review if the company chooses to resolve this in good faith.”

I came into this place multiple times in the past, and I had no complaints. I consider this place as another fast food chain, but it was really a decent place with decent prices and decent food. I went back today, and what I was served was worse than White Castle. I ordered a burger with fries: The burger itself was disgusting, with a funny texture. It felt slimy. It was held together by the waxy slice of American cheese. It was crumbling apart out of the bun. The bacon that came with it was like rubber and fries were soggy and frozen cold! GROSS! 🤮🤢 I will never go to this place again.
