But what really made the experience great was our very kind and attentive server, Taylen. He was great! He would regularly check in on us, asking if we needed anything and how everything was, and was also very patient with us asking for a couple of to-go boxes. I read some iffy reviews on this location and was hesitant to try but went anyway. Turned out to be a very good dinner. The waiter Gerald was great. Managers checked on us. The only hiccup was the hostess, I guess they didn't put us in the system. But once we got our server things went smoothly. We both enjoyed our meals, good as usual. Sidenote, unlike other Outbacks they only have two TVs (back wall). Usually the "bar area" is more closed off and has a couple more TVs.

Seeking a change from the normal i cam into Outback Steakhouse to see how it holds up against some of the pricier options in the area. Despite appearing busy the staff was very polite and able to have me seated within 2-3 minutes. Evan handled my order, giving me plenty of time to look over the menu. To start off I ordered a Piña Koala, a wonderful beverage as a mix on the traditional piña colada with cinnamon on the rim. The rye bread served at the table was excellently fresh, warm and delicious. The drinks glasses are substantially sized, typically I can gulp down a glass of soda or water in a few sips, but these glasses kept me with a good amount of water throughout the meal. My appetizer, fried mushrooms, came out piping hot, with a wonderful crunch. A hint of spice gives the mushrooms a wonderful aftertaste, with the dressing helping to add a blend of flavors. Before my rye bread was even halfway gone Evan was attentive and asking if I would like more bread, an excellent waiter is attentive at all times and Evan exemplifies this. My main course arrived in perfect time, a wonderfully cooked medium rare NY strip, asparagus, and loaded mashed potatoes. The asparagus was wonderfully seasoned and just enough crunch to offer a perfect mouth-feel. The potatoes were savory, creamy and cheesy, a wonderful pair to the steak. The steak did not need any salt, steak sauce, or anything to add to the flavor bursting with every bite, it quickly took my attention as well as the majority of the meal time savoring every bite. Overall I was impressed with the quality of service and food at this establishment. At times I forget this restaurant is here due to the odd location it is in tucked down off an access road away from some of the main thoroughfares. However I would recommend this restaurant a hundred times over if I could. Thank you Evan and the staff at Outback for making my evening a wonderful night to remember.

Ordered the blooming onion. As everyone will agree, it's super tasty and so rich. The sauce goes too well with it as well. The bread and butter is also a great side to pair with it. Also had the bloomin chicken burger, and it was juicy, flavorful, and completely delicious! Had their blooming shrimp, and it tasted absolutely amazing. The shrimp fries were so tender and juicy that they completely melt in your mouth!

Absolutely delightful. Boyfriend and I ordered the sirloins medium and medium rare with the jumbo grilled shrimp and the alice springs chicken. With mashed potatoes, fries, asparagus and Mac and cheese as our sides. Everything was delicious. Mac and cheese was our least favorite. Just didn't hit the cheese spot and it wasn't creamy enough to our liking. But truly, everything was incredible. Especially our server. Thanks Brittany!!

Last time I ate at Outback was 10 years ago. After tonight I’m asking myself why I waited so long to come back? My steak was cooked a perfect medium rare. Salad was fresh. I love that adding eggs was an option for my salad. Scallops were delicious. My daughter kept raving about her macaroni and cheese. So I had to take a bite. I think that’s some of the best macaroni and cheese that I’ve had in a very long time. Even the ice tea, which I’m usually disappointed in was really good. Service was fast and friendly. Refills were offered. When I’m in the mood for a good steak I’ll definitely be back. I’m definitely not waiting another 10 years again lol.

The service was great from our server. Although the silverware was filthy when I opened the napkin. I feel all restaurants need to put names on the bins of each server and when they roll silverware it goes in their bin. When it’s filthy as it was or not polished. You know what server didn’t do their job. If someone else rolled for you, it must be approved and signed off on by the Floor Manager on duty. Hold these employees accountable. It was truly disgusting how dirty the silverware was that they comped out blooming onion.

For lunch, it was decent. Not a large crowd and service was good. The only complaint is the price $65 for two with the customed tip. I just want to know why anyone thinks a person can afford to give you almost $20 for a tip? That was 18% gratituity they recommend. Not 5% or 10% but 18%. All you did was your job, which was to take my order, bring me my food, and make sure my dining experience was good. Nothing extra!

Solid steakhouse. They have very reasonable prices as you can easily get in and out for less than $30 per person. The classic prime rib is good enough for it to be my go to place for getting prime rib without breaking the bank. On the other hand, the Outback style prime rib, which additionally seasons and sears the prime rib, was a miss in my opinion. I prefer medium rare, and it was apparent that they cooked it to medium rare and then seared it more. I was really left with a steak that hovered between medium and medium well and that was rather tough and dry. The molasses bread is pretty good, not overly sweet, but also never really freshly hot. The mashed potatoes, french fries, and potato soup are all perfectly fine. The salad however was old and not appetizing. The servers I've had were all friendly and accommodating.

I got the center cut sirloin with shrimp and sweet potato. The shrimp tastes good, but it's not that big. The sirloin was cooked medium and tasted delicious. The sweet potato was great too. The steakhouse Mac n cheese was lukewarm because they didn't heat it up all the way. Our takeout order (21') was a bit underwhelming for the price, and was missing some sides of which was not addressed by CS when we followed up. We generally favor Outback for the "one in awhile" dine-in or takeout and they are usually above this level of quality, and service. Would not go back to this location.

My hubby and I went out for a date night with a gift certificate I was given from my parents. When it comes to the staff here, the manager and server were incredible. They really set the bar high when it comes to helping and accommodating someone with a food allergy. We didn’t feel shamed with their gluten free menu that was available with request. For starters, we did get their complimentary bread with whipped butter. It was a decent bread. We ordered our drinks and got their skewered shrimp for an appetizer. My husband ordered their porterhouse steak. I got the lobster. We both got salads and steamed veggies. When it arrived, I was a little bit surprised. The shrimp were pretty tiny, and tasted like frozen cocktail shrimp that had been re-heated in a pan with a blackened seasoning. The sauce that came with it was very mis-matched. It was overpowering with spice and really didn’t go well with the shrimp. For $9.99, I get it that you are not going to get large prawns here in the suburbs of dallas, but using frozen cocktail shrimp that was chewy and overcooked was not appealing to make me want to come back and order it again. The presentation was fine. Our salads arrived, and they were good. Fresh, clean chopped lettuce, cherry tomatoes, sliced onions, shredded cheese, and cucumber. My husband was confused as to which salad was placed in front of him because the dressing was on the bottom. This was his first time at Outback. I always get oil and vinegar, and check the leaves in the salad for browning. My salad was decent. It came with the meal, so I didn’t expect freshly diced tomato or freshly grated cheese. It was a salad like I could make at home. My entree I ordered was the lobster tails. The presentation was beautiful. The taste really let me down. The lobster was over cooked and chewy. It didn’t taste fresh. It tasted frozen. My first thought was that the lobster might have been chewy because it had been cooked using temps and time for frozen lobster, but it had thawed in the kitchen. Timing is difficult and lobster is sensitive. The lobster was leathery. I could have made better from Kroger. The size of the tails were about the same size as the ones I saw the next day in the butchers window at the grocery store. Two tails for 9.99. Here, I was charged $32. The fresh vegetables were cooked perfectly, and tasted fresh. My husbands steak. This restaurant is labeled as a STEAKHOUSE. This porterhouse steak was thin, gristly and cooked horribly. It looked like nobody did a quality check. For $28, I did not expect the same as what I could get from Bob’s for $52. However, I would have rather spent the money there as opposed to this garbage my husband got. I went by the grocery store and looked at the steaks. I could have bought a thick, juicy, delicious porterhouse for $7. This steak was thin, oversized, but filled with lots of overcooked gristle. It was also not cooked evenly. It was very chewy. I am not sure if they pounded out the meat to make it cook faster, look bigger, or if this was just disastrous meat that they are purchasing. We decided to go somewhere else for dessert. Since we paid for our meal with a gift card, I did not tell the manager about the food. I didn’t send anything back or question them. Their service was top notch. Five stars for their service!! Their food was very disappointing and I am embarrassed to have to give this review. I hate giving any negative feedback to any restaurant. The purchasing manager needs to take a look at the quality of the product coming out of the kitchen. I wish this restaurant all the best.

Tonight was not a great experience. Our Lobster 🦞 was slimy and partially raw. It was hard to tell at first but it went down more like an oyster 🦪 or squid 🦑. Our waitress was kind enough to remove the lobster from our ticket but I actually got nauseous and about tossed my cookies 🍪 at dinner.

We were super excited to find an Outback near our hotel on a recent business trip. We were tired from a long drive, and we were looking forward to a nice simple meal. We were asked if we minded being seated in a booth by the bar. We saw no reason to object; they should have warned us that this was the section of the most inconsiderate waiter ever. We sat waiting at our table for over 15 minutes. While we waited, we could hear a table across the section laughing and carrying on. There was also a booth behind us where we could hear the customers waiting. We kept looking up at people hopefully, but it didn't see like our section belonged to anyone. Finally, the amazing bartender signaled a waitress from another section, Sierra, and she came to take our drink order; she explained that she wasn't our waitress, but she'd get our drink order in for us. She also explained that our waiter, Gerald, was busy with other customers and would be with us shortly. (She motioned to the laughing table.) She even joked about how she wouldn't be back because we weren't her table, but we were in good hands. We were happy someone was paying attention to us; we actually had to be aware of the time as we still had work obligations, and we explained this to her. We looked over at the laughing table, but we still couldn't see where our waiter, the elusive Gerald, was. We could hear the table behind us also grumbling, and it was clear we weren't the only ones waiting on him. We were surprised when Sierra returned with our drinks and some bread. She realized we still hadn't ordered; she was very apologetic, and she took our order. The restraunt wasn't busy, but we could tell that she had tables elsewhere. Our salads had arrived when we finally saw Gerald. He had been crouched next to the table on the other side of the bar, deep in conversation and ignoring his section. This went on for well over 30 minutes that we witnessed. When he finally came to our side of his section, he went to the table behind us; we were still not acknowledged. The table behind us explained what they needed, and then, we heard Gerald explain that we were ignored because the other table was "his regulars." He laughed this off like it was totally okay to ignore your table while you laughed loudly with other customers. We needed refills, but we couldn't get him to acknowledge us to ask. We then overheard Sierra explaining to him that he had a table that had been waiting that she had been helping with. He told her we could just be her table. It honestly felt very dismissive. It felt like this waiter could only be bothered if you were a "regular." Things were much smoother once we were officially Sierra's table. She was very nice and an amazing waitress. (If I was just rating her, she would be 5 stars!) However, we were very bothered by how Gerald treated his coworkers and costumers. Before coming to the restaurant, we had planned on having dinner here every night of our busy trip since it was so close. However, due to this experience, we decided against this. I wasn't impressed. We split a blooming onion, that was oily. And a steak and shrimp plate. All the food was lukewarm and the steak was tough. The waiter was unfriendly. Was late afternoon so not very crowded. The greeter seated everybody in the same aisle so there was a constant stream of patrons and staff walking past our table. We were using a gift card that still has $15 on it. We'll use the balance at the Italian restaurant that is part of the chain. Carrabas I think. Won't be back to Outback.

Absolutely terrible food. prime rib was tasteless rubber. Shrimp pasta was cold and flavorless. Bread was good. Subway would have been an upgrade.

My recent experience at Outback Steakhouse was utterly disappointing and concerning. The steaks we ordered were not only poorly cooked but also tasted off, leaving me feeling sick afterward. It's evident that either the meat was spoiled or improperly handled, possibly even cooked from a frozen state. The fact that we visited late in the evening suggests we may have been served leftovers, which is unacceptable. Adding to the disappointment, the restaurant itself felt outdated and neglected. Given this experience, I have serious reservations about returning to Outback Steakhouse in the future.

Hot garbage from down under, we order a to go from this dump and we received raw/under cooked fishy smelling shrimp, rotten broccoli, and the lower half of a hamburger bun with sweaty cheese slices (for the French onion soup) was kept on hold for 17:39 seconds for a “manager” to tell me that they were sorry but there was nothing they could do. Completely incompetent service and frankly a health hazard with the garbage they are serving do not go to this restaurant.

I had lunch here this week and while the service was fine, 3 hours after I left, I got the worst case of food poisoning that I have ever experienced. I ordered the lunch sirloin and loaded baked potato. They tasted fine however it’s been 2 days now, I have had to go to the emergency room because of how bad the food poisoning was. I hope outback sees this review and doesn’t assume it could have been something else I ate since that was the only meal I had that day. It was 100% the meal I had there. This was my first time back at outback after over 10 years and what a huge huge disappointment. Big thumbs down.

We went during lunch and ordered off the lunch menu. I ordered the Aussie fried chicken. In the photo on the menu, it looked like a chicken fried chicken (version of chicken fried steak). When they brought it out, I thought it was a joke. It was literally a single chicken strip with some drizzle, fries and ketchup for $10.99 (see photo). My son and daughter ordered the burgers. They too were very small and obviously frozen patties. The only thing good was the blooming onion. Our waitress only returned once during the whole meal to ask if we needed anything. No, just no... Not again.

Ordered grilled chicken breast and mashed potatoes through uber eats. The worst mashed potatoes ever. They were runny almost like a soup. Grilled chicken breast was dry. Will never eat at this location

Walked in was seated, waited waited no waiter ever came, waited waited watched a guy in a light blue shirt look at me while putting napkins and utensils together and talk with an employee who just clocked out...they actually talked for 5 minutes me and the young man who seated me looked at each other...5 more minutes later I just left no one besides the greeter ever came over to acknowledge me at all...they never even brought out water.

(UPDATE!) the automated Google response asked me to to contact them about my bad experience which I did however weeks later I never got a response. I want to start off by saying our waiter was very polite. He was clearly being overworked or perhaps they where understaffed because anytime we needed something he ran (not walked) to go get it, he’s the only waiter I saw and he did a fantastic job, i believe his name was Darron or something similar, an older African American gentleman. However that’s where my good review ends. My dad bought my brother and I gift cards to Outback Steakhouse for Christmas so we could go together. We chose tonight and the experience made me not want to recommend this place to anyone aside from the service of our waiter. After placing our order they had a separate man (not our waiter) bringing us our food. He acted almost annoyed or at least like he couldn’t be bothered. When he brought our Saleds out he placed them down before we had received any silverware and quickly left before we could even ask for any. My brother and I joked about the fact we didn’t have any way to eat it for about 10 minutes before he brought us our food. After handing us our plates he quickly turned to leave before I could hastily ask him for silverware. Upon Returning he kinda just tossed them on our table without even making eye contact and walked away leaving me to have to sort them out to my brother and his friend I love shrimp so I ordered a steak and shrimp, the fry’s were fantastic and the steak was ok enough but I’ve had better shrimp from rundown Chinese buffets. I don’t even know how you make shrimp not taste like shrimp but it was definitely disappointing and they were tiny aswell. My brothers friend also was not a fan of the quality of shrimp. Our water felt bad for being so busy and covered our cost of the blooming onion and my brother gave him a generous tip. As much as i enjoyed our waiter’s service the other man’s seemingly unbothered attitude and the foods poor quality could not make me ever justify spending my money at this location again. Luckily I had a gift card that covered most of the bill but I was very disappointed expecting to have a nice dine in experience that night only to leave thinking I would’ve preferred going to a fast food place for half the cost. Pretty disappointed

I went with my sister to get the koala punch because it looked like a really fun drink. We were told the bar was open seating and went up and sat down in two of the four open seats. The bartender waited until we were sitting down and then (in a very unfriendly tone) told us that the seats were reserved and that we needed to sit somewhere else. At no point during the duration of our time at outback did anyone sit in those seats. I think he just did not want to serve us. We ended up sitting at a table and had to call over someone so we could order after a long wait. The koala punch was not a very good drink (WAY too sweet) but I liked the little koala rubber duck. We ate our dinner somewhere else after our experience ordering the drinks.

My friend and I both ordered the same Delmonico steak both orders were cooked the same, hers was tender and delicious and mine didn't even look like hers and was tough, full of gristle hard to cut through sent it back got the same thing another crappy expensive steak. So disappointing the second time in a row going there. I love a good steak I have never had to do this at Texas Roadhouse always a great steak Outback get your act together you used to do better
