Tienen una carta súper variada, así que siempre encuentras algo que te apetezca. Todo lo que hemos probado estaba buenísimo y se nota que hay trabajo y cariño detrás de cada plato. Las tapas, impresionantes; los entrantes, variados, ricos y abundantes. Las carnes y el pescado, espectaculares (el lomo de atún rojo a la brasa es indescriptible); los postres, riquísimos. Pero no es solo la comida. El ambiente es muy agradable y acogedor; y tiene una decoración de lo más original. Además me encanta el cuidado por los detalles: la vajilla, los cubiertos, la presentación de los platos… el emplatado está muy trabajado y muy cuidado. Es de esos restaurantes a los que siempre te apetece volver. Totalmente recomendable.

El Restaurante Los Monges, ubicado en la avenida Sor Valentina Mirón, es una apuesta segura en Plasencia. Destaca por la gran variedad y cuidada elaboración de sus platos, combinando tradición y creatividad con presentaciones muy atractivas. El trato cercano y amable del personal hace que te sientas como en casa desde el primer momento, siempre atentos y dispuestos a recomendar lo mejor de la carta. El ambiente es acogedor y perfecto tanto para comidas en familia como para cenas especiales. Muy recomendable si buscas buena comida, buen servicio y una experiencia completa en la ciudad. 🍷

De los sitios que más me han sorprendido desde hace tiempo,platos llenos de sabor elaborados con mucho mimo y profesionalidad,gran variedad desde opción de comerte una carne madurada seleccionada hasta jugar con varios entrantes que te explotan en boca. A parte el personal muy agradable sobre todo el metre de sala atento de cada detalle desde que entras hasta que sales y muy importante siempre recalcar muy muy limpio y cuidado. Recomendable 100% volveré muy pronto.

Por propia experiencia en este fabuloso restaurante, faltan palabras en todos los diccionarios para poder poner negro sobre blanco, la experiencia personal y bucal que hemos vivido en "Restaurante Los Monges". Venir a la bella Plasencia y no entrar a disfrutar de la gastronomía, sería uno de los grandes arrendamientos de una vida. Esto es lo mágico, hacer que algo sea inolvidable y aquí se consigue. Possibly the best restaurant in Plasencia, with a wide, varied, and original menu. The specialty meats are a sure bet. Everything is delicious and well-prepared. The service is excellent, with suggestions that make the meal a true gastronomic experience. Finally, they have a selection of rare and lesser-known wines that are well worth trying.

What a fantastic place! We stopped by chance on our way from Badajoz and plan to return just to try more dishes. We ordered two tapas that were delicious and the ribeye steak, which was a bit more expensive, but well worth it. For dessert, the pistachio cake was incredible! I've never tasted anything like it. The place and service were top-notch, and they even had thoughtful touches like a women's restroom (in my case) and a remote control on the table to call the server. Highly recommended!

Speechless, everything was spectacular, a fantasy, the food was top-notch, the service was phenomenal. We had an electric wheelchair, and they helped us get settled in. The atmosphere was perfect. It's definitely my restaurant to go to every time I go.

We tried five tapas, and each one was better than the last; everything was incredible. Not to mention the cakes—the pistachio and Prince biscuit cake was simply unbeatable. The service from the waiters was outstanding; they were incredibly attentive and we'll be back very soon. By the way, I found it to be a great value for the quality.

I say this because it's worth the detour off the highway, not only to see Plasencia, which is worth it in itself, but also to eat at this restaurant. The food, the location, the service. Everything is amazing, although I've given the food a 4 out of 5 because there are a couple of drawbacks, and it would be unfair to give it a 5 out of 5. We tried several dishes and overall the experience was very positive. Gyozas: The filling and side dishes were delicious, but we would have preferred the classic, softer dough. In this case, we felt the dough didn't live up to the rest of the dish. Nachos: The contents were excellent, with meat, cheese, and other very tasty ingredients, but the tortilla chips portion was small (barely a dozen). We missed being able to pair each bite with its corresponding tortilla chip. Also, the plate came with a paper base that tears easily and can end up mixing with the food. Hamburger: Spectacular, nothing to complain about. Dessert: Excellent, a perfect ending to the meal. Conclusion: The overall quality of the food is very good, with the burger and dessert especially notable. It would be advisable to improve the gyoza dough and increase the amount of tortilla chips on the nachos, as well as removing the paper from the bottom of the plate to further enhance the experience.

A restaurant to return to. The food was spectacular. The venison-filled fritters, the pork tenderloin (super tender), the gyozas, and the prince cheesecake, all excellent. The beer was well-drawn and cold. As for the price, it came to about €30 per person. The service was very fast and attentive. The place is very modern and pleasant.

The menu includes meat dishes, rice dishes, burgers, and dishes to share. We opted for the tapas. The quality, quantity, and price were all very consistent. Trompe l'oeil tapas, like the churros with chocolate, which were actually fish fritters with black garlic aioli, the squid donut, and the pork cheek croissant. Special mention goes to the gyozas, exquisite. The waitress advised us to save room for dessert, and they didn't disappoint either: a classic cheesecake and white chocolate mousse ball—delicious! The place was tastefully decorated, and the waiters were very attentive. Oh! The bathroom detail with a small table stocked with feminine hygiene products was amazing. We'll be back! Thank you for your gift.

We were in a group of 16. The food, presentation and service was excellent, the best of the holiday so far. Excellent value for money. I think that we will return; there was a lot of choice on the menu. Both the red and white wines were also very good.

We asked the waiter to recommend local Spanish dishes. There was a bit of a language barrier but he did a great job and we had a lovely tasty dinner of mixed salad, a variety of croquettes, and melt in the mouth rare steak, plus a lovely local wine. Highly recommended.

We did not have a reservation and the website does not state that it is required to have one. Lots of empty tables but we were turned away. They didn't even call a taxi for us the food might be good but that experience did it for me. I would not go back.
