Muy buen lugar para hospedarse, me salvaron luego que mi primer alojamiento resultara ser falso. El lugar se encuentra frente a la playa, gran atención y dedicación del personal. Generalmente fui atendido por Ivan, quién brindo una atención excelente. Ofrecen distintos servicios, productos para consumo dentro del recinto, además de contar con comodidades para estar en la playa.

Somehow the cheapest beer I’ve seen at any bar/resto in PDC but it’s literally directly on the beach. 50 peso beer. And they give you chips! I can’t speak to the food as I only came for drinks. But amazing place to drink directly on the beach

Great seafood with a direct beach access and view! They have a lot of seating options for you to pick both indoors and outdoors. This is one of the oldest restaurant in playa de carmen and walkable from the ferry terminal.

Huge glass of fab red wine 85pesos, delicious guacamole 85 peso, cerviche was tasty too, and you are right on the beach, super value, great view, hard working staff. Highly recommend here

It’s one of the original local restaurants, part of Playa’s roots, and it’s still delivering everything you want in a laid-back beachside meal. The setting is casual, rustic, and relaxed in the best way possible. No pretense. You’ve got a distant view of Cozumel on the horizon, sea breeze in your face, and a mix of locals and travelers just enjoying life. It feels like a place that matters to the community. Now, let’s talk food. Some of the best seafood I’ve had anywhere in Playa. And the prices are wild in the best way. If you’ve never had Aguachile, this is the spot to try it. Refreshing, and simply unforgettable. Also highly recommend the fried Boquinete. It’s a whole fish and, yeah, it looks intense (it's head on and has a mean looking grill), but the flavor makes it worth it. First time I’ve ever enjoyed a fried fish like that, and now I’m into it. The margaritas deserve their own paragraph. However, i'll keep it short and sweet. They hit hard and make no apologies. Big flavor and plenty of tequila. You’ve been warned. After your meal, walk over to Calle 2 and then drift into Quinta Avenida. Perfect way to walk off the food. Grab a gelato, sip something else, or just explore the shops and street energy. This was our second time eating here. It will not be the last. It’s now a permanent stop on our Playa itinerary. One quick note. Yes, you might get approached by vendors while you eat. It happens at spots like this. Just be polite. A simple “no gracias” is all it takes, and they move along. They’re just out here trying to make a living. Bottom line: put this place on your list. No excuses. Go hungry, go open-minded, and go enjoy a side of Playa that still feels real.

WoW! I loved this place. Drinks are amazingly great. We ordered drinks a bunch of times. We also ordered Tortilla and Guacamole as appetizer and fried fish as main course and they were wonderfully tasty. I can say this dinner was the most tasteful dish that I had in Mexico. I REALLY RECOMMEND IT. Don’t miss your chance of tasting authentic foods of places such this.

This place is awesome! Quality meets an awesome price and location. I've been here many times and compare it with other places. Some rewies complain about the waiting time. Yeah then go to MC Donald's. Fresh food needs time to be prepared. You will enjoy fresh seafood directly at the beach. Don't miss the special dishes on weekends. My favorite seafood place in Mexico :)

Entirely unassuming gem - super cheap prices for super high quality food. With the help of Google translate (all Spanish menu), we pieced together an order of various shrimp, fish, and chicken preparations and enjoyed every one of them. Portions were generous for both the food and the drinks; along with the location right on the beach, would highly recommend a visit.

El lugar es muy bonito con su alberca al centro y la playa a unos metros, pero no hay variedad de alimentos ni bebidas

Me gusto mucho por la atención, es un lugar tranquilo para relajarse, la alberca muy bien, la comida y las bebidas muy también, las chicas me atendieron excelente, sin duda alguna volvería, lo único malo fue el sargazo en la playa, pero eso no es culpa del establecimiento, sin duda volvería a ir en temporada libre de sargazo, también si no es mucho pedir que agregaran empanadas argentinas en su menú, eso ya es un capricho personal

Sat down and had a lovely view of the beach, thereby managed to avoid being extorted for a deckchair. Drinks and food were reasonably priced (although came with a hidden 16% VAT) and came with a rather large complimentary bowl of tortilla chips. Our server was friendly enough and we waited a reasonable amount of time for food/drinks. A fair few street vendors came round the tables but left without hassle after a polite "no thank you".

The food is OK, could be better for the prices they charge. 150 pesos to rent a lounge chair for the whole day on the beach is not bad though. The waiters will bring out your food too.

Affordable beach view restaurant to fill the stomach. Service was kind of slow. They also put the tip on your bill. Food alone is 2.5 stars, 4 stars for the proximity to the beach and the cheap prices.

El lugar es bonito, y la playa está enfrente, el menú no es taaaan variado pero todo lo que pedimos tenía muy buen sabor y presentación. Los baños muy pequeños, no hay regaderas (o al menos yo nunca las vi) y tampoco préstamo de toallas. Yo siempre dejo propina, pero me parece MUY incómodo y de mal gusto exigirla y además que de preferencia se dé en efectivo, al llegar el mesero comenta que el consumo es de mínimo $700 por persona más el 15% de propina mínimo. Notamos que no se ponen de acuerdo en los precios o promociones, una turista nos mencionó que le dieron una bebida de cortesía, cosa que nuestro mesero jamás mencionó y también su consumo mínimo fue diferente.

Sabor de alimentos Bueno , bebidas bien , llegamos cuando faltaba una hora para cerrar y todo lo hicieron apresurado y nosotros pagamos el brazalete de day pass aunque sabíamos que sería solo una hora no teníamos problema con ello pero esa hora nos estuvieron presionando porque cerrarían y nosotros estábamos como entes de ello, aún así dejamos muy buena propina , sugiero paciencia para nacionales y extranjeros , uno nunca sabe cómo q quien trata y PORFAVOR PORFAVOR!! Cambien la hora en su página que ahí decía que cerraban a las 10pm no específica si área de restaurante AHÍ DICE BEACH CLUB 10pm , el mesero me dijo que no que hace mucho ya cierran mas temprano. Beautiful location on the beach, but the food is horrible! Ceviche was not cold; shrimp tacos arrived stale, cut up into tiny pieces, and very cold. Fish filet was paper thin (can’t imagine what kind of fish this is) with a tiny serving of rice on side. Whole fish in aluminum foil was “ok” but not even that good. We left without eating most of our food.

Of all the great restaurants in Mexico, this place was very mediocre. None of the staff smiled and seemed to not want to be there. Food was just OK although the beach location was great.

Location is really nice on the beach. The atmosphere is destroyed by a steady stream of very bad bands playing their setsp for a tip. Service is "fine". Not overly friendly but that's understandable with all the tourists around. The food is not good. Stick to the drinks and the guacamole.

Pésimo servicio de una señora llamada Azul, junto teníamos a unos extranjeros y los atendieron rapidísimo, nosotros tuvimos que hasta abrir nuestra sombrilla, eso si el 20% forzoso de propina.

Tuve una mala experiencia, me comuniqué a whats app para saber datos sobre su day pass, pregunté si daban toallas, y me comentaron que si al llegar al lugar me comentaron que no daban toallas lo cual pues al tratarse de un Beach club como se supone que me voy a secar ?, no tienen regadera para enjuagarse si uno entra al mar, la comida si está buena recomiendo el aguachile negro, la atención de los meseros es mala, prefieren atender al turista extranjero que al mexicano, vaya nunca me había tocado tan mala atención, tardaron en tomarme la orden, y en siquiera preguntar si me hacía falta algo, el baño tiene un olor desagradable, la Alberca está bien, es de mal gusto que los meseros al cobrar te digan “LA PROPINA DEL 15 % ES LA SUGERIDA” siempre dejo propina a lo que es a mi criterio y normalmente es del 10 % o 15 %, pero es de mal gusto que al cobrar hagan ese comentario, al final dejé el 15 %, cierran a las 6 pm el servicio day pass.

overprice poorly serve dishes. Horrible service. Run down place. warm drinks, for the beer we had to ask for ice. the ceviche is not what many shows in pictures. The breaded fish was so thin that we had to remove the bread in order to taste the fish. rice was cold and the salad was just lettuce with no dressing. if you want fries with your burger you have to order them at 100 pesos for a very small amount. overprice horrible menu.

My partner has been on the hunt for whole fried fish. After this experience I promise you he will never hunt again. El Pirata (really good) too far of a walk for us at lunch time as it looked like it was getting ready to rain. It’s been raining all week. Chac Pel Tacos de mariscos (our favorite) has been closed the last few days. Google Maps tells us this place is a local legit spot. Reviews are high for he fried fish so we are like “okay.” Yeah, um no. Cheap(er) that other spots, yes. But a total waste of money because the food lacks any concept of taste. Mexicans are known for spice. This ain’t authentic nothing. Worse than fast food. Service was decent but then I’d say no as they seated everyone, despite not being busy all, in one section and it wasn’t Covid compliant. We were not 3 meters apart. My partners back was touching the neighbors and they were smoking. We asked to move. But this really should have indicated this wasn’t the venue for me. The guacamole was alright. Not the best and not the worst. The view was decent once you see that past all of the beach chairs in front of you. We ordered fried fish and shrimp tacos. Shrimp was cut up into little teeny pieces and had a weird sauce on top. They were not good. The fried fish was the most tasteless piece of seafood I’ve had while in Mexico. Like I tried salt, and the red sauce and even tried to make a taco with the left over guacamole. Nope! Nothing worked. I left with an upset stomach. While eating we were attacked by a hoard of flies. It was horrible and we could hardly eat our meal which might have been a good thing because it just was not good. At least the flies enjoyed it. Come at your own risk.
