Garlic shrimp tacos were delicious, made fresh in front of me, and a great deal at 150 pesos. This also included a small side of guacamole, beans, chips, and very spicy habanero salsa. Fantastic breakfast.

This is a small seafood restaurant on 10th Ave, across the street from the Paseo del Carmen mall. We ate there several times during our recent visit to Playa del Carmen. I ate the best shrimp tacos I've ever had and my wife enjoyed shrimp empanadas. The service was great and you won't experience 5th Ave prices here. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Small restaurant right outside the ferry terminal (near the 7-11) with tasty food! We tried the mixed seafood cocktail (don’t settle for the small, I regretted that decision). We also ordered garlic shrimp tacos, cream shrimp tacos (pictured) and beef nachos. All were great and well priced.

Absolutely reasonable price. I would definitely have to say, excellent service and outstanding sea food, everything’s were perfect, especially cocktails were are huge and delicious. Restaurant is pretty clean. We had fun to be there. Strongly recommended!!! We’ll be back again.

Incredibly fresh, brought the raw fish out for approval before cooking. Cooked perfectly, taste was great. Recommend asking for tortillas to make your own fish tacos. A 1kg fish will serve 2 avg or 1 extremely hungry person.

Woo !! What a experience .. such a hidden gem.. We tried fish, prawns and veggies tacos.. also the lobster grill.. everything was truly amazing. We got to choose the lobster and it was prepared right away in front of us. The service is amazing, the recommendations are spot on. Truly enjoyed the Mexican flavors and local dining experience. Lobster is must must try here..

We had Chicken Tinga tacos and Mixed fajitas. Plus two Coronas. As a starter they brougjt some tortilla chips with salsa. The starter was a nice touch. For the main dishes I’d give them 4/5. Total was 495 pesos.

Warning: they add 15% mandatory tip to the bill without telling you. Apart from that it was a great visit - really tasty tacos (garlic ones were perfect, butter/breaded were ok). Quite pricy, but given the location I can't complain.

Antes q nada quiero decir q la comida esta deliciosa. Muy muy rica y los precios estan a corde con la calidad. Fuimos xq es uno de los mejores valorados x esos criterios. Asi q siii es super recomendable y con cero pretensiones. Lo malo.. Llegamos tarde pero aún sí nos atendieron amablemente y el mesero genial, hasta q llego la cuenta sin pedirla xq ya tenían q cerrar. Nos apenamos y nos disculpamos hasta darnos cuenta (obviamente como 30 min despues) q nos habian cobrado 200 pesos extras y nosotros de tontos hasta dejamos el 10% de propina de nuestra cuenta inflada. Revisen bien los precios y asegurense pese a las prisas q estan pagando lo justo. Volvería? Si claro q si. Lo vale Ahhh y sólo aceptan efectivo!!

En cuestión con la comida es buena, un poco más cara pero vale la pena. El mesero muy servicial pero al pedir la cuenta nos sorprendio que pusieron el servicio del 10% de propina del cual SIEMPRE acostumbramos dar ese monto, pero en este caso nos molesto esta imposición y decidimos pagar la cuenta por transferencia y en efectivo la propina del cual dimos el 7% y esto fue por IMPONER UNA PROPINA EN LA CUENTA, del cual el mesero al darse cuenta se molesto y nos regreso el dinero y de tono burlón nos dijo "Que dios las bendiga". UN PUNTO MUY MALO FUE QUE NO ACEPTAN TARJETAS, SOLO EFECTIVO Y TRANSFERENCIAS, estando a una cuadra de la 5ta. Avenida y no estar actualizado se me hace ridículo. Comimos muy bien pero este hecho hace que no regreses y por lo que veo en otra reseña ya es costumbre del señor. Espero que sirva de algo esta opinión y a esta persona lo pongan en otro lado ya que no tiene la delicadeza de atender a los clientes.

Fish fajitas were just okay. Place was fairly empty on a Sunday afternoon.

En este restaurante solo por ser extranjero ya te quieren cobrar una propina obligatoria sin haber sido el servicio del todo aceptable, ya que hemos estado esperando para que nos sirvieran una hora de reloj, las propinas son algo que el cliente da por un servicio que te ha gustado, no impuesto por el local. Y para rematar el "camarero" por llamarle de alguna manera, al reprocharle esa propina, te contesta "la próxima te quedas en tu casa" llevo 15 días en México y en ningún lugar me han tratado así, desde luego si vuelvo, a tu casa no volveré.

La unica persona con buena actitud es el cocinero los meseros no tienen pasion por el trabajo a menos que seas extranjero no esperes un buen trato

I had a disappointing experience here regarding the pricing. I ordered the Shrimp Tacos in Cream, which was listed clearly on the menu for 150 pesos. I even pointed directly to the item on the menu when ordering to avoid confusion. However, when the bill came, they charged me 295 pesos for the plate dish for shrimp in cream —nearly double the listed price. I was in a rush to catch a bus back, so I couldn't stay to argue, but I felt it was very dishonest. Be careful with what you order and what they bring .

Terrible Experience – Avoid This Place! The food was awful. The fried shrimp had five times more tempura than actual shrimp, making it nearly inedible. Another dish was drenched in vinegar, completely overpowering any other flavors. On top of that, they tried to scam us. They forced us to pay in cash, which was only mentioned in a small line on the menu—nowhere obvious or upfront. When we asked to pay in dollars, they gave us a ridiculously low exchange rate, claiming it was the same as the nearby exchange office. When I checked, the real rate was 20% higher. To make matters worse, the owner (or perhaps a waiter) was incredibly rude, rushing us to order and making us feel unwelcome. Would never come back. Stay away!

We were visiting from the US. The food was great, but there were four ladies and we paid $80 for tacos. They seemed to be looking to rip Americans off. Definitely take pesos if you go here. There was over 200 pesos added to the bill for something - not even sure.

This was the first restaurant we went to upon arriving Playa del Carmen. Seafood cocktail sauce was straight out of a can, slimy and sickly sweet (yuck). I guess I shouldn't have expected that savory homemade seafood cocktail sauce we have tasted in the west coast (Puerto Vallarta) that we loved so much. Garlic shrimp tacos were good. Horchata was also from the store type...cheap stuff, not homemade. When the bill came out I noticed they wrote the total including 20% tip without saying it. That is illegal!!!!
