Wir sind heute aufgrund der Bewertungen hin mit meiner Frau. Sehr unscheinbarer Laden in einer Nebengasse. Es hat zwar etwas länger gedauert mit dem Essen ABER das waren die besten Burritos die ich je gegessen habe. Wir hatten Chicken Fajita und Nachos mit Guacamole! Für so ein gutes Essen warte ich gerne und ich kann es nur weiter empfehlen. Kommen definitiv wieder!

Stumbled across Gusto Gormet on our way back to the Ado bus terminal at the end of our trip. I wish we’d found it sooner! Absolutely delicious burritos and great service. We split a couple of options (Surf and Turf, and the pork) and both were phenomenal. Thank you!

Auf der suche nach mexikanischem Essen habe ich Gusto Gourmet gefunden. Sehr sympathisch fand ich, dass es auf der Karte, die man Online einsehen konnte, auch eine vegetarisches Gericht fand. Aus diesem Grund beschlossen wir Gusto Gourmet zu testen und wir wurden nicht enttäuschst. Das Essen wurde frisch zubereitet und es hat fantastisch geschmeckt. Die Soßen sind wirklich zu empfehlen. Wir kommen während unseres Aufenthaltes sicherlich nochmal vorbei. Eine ganz klare Empfehlung, da Preis/Leistung stimmt und man sagen so, so ist mexikanisches Streetfood 2023. Macht weiter so! Looking for Mexican food, I found Gusto Gourmet. I was very pleased to find a vegetarian dish on the menu, which could be viewed online. For this reason we decided to try Gusto Gourmet and we were not disappointed. The food was freshly prepared and it tasted fantastic. The sauces are really recommended. We will certainly stop by again during our stay. A very clear recommendation, because price / performance is right and you say so, so is Mexican street food 2023. Keep up the good work!

Hole in the wall taco spot. Well worth the visit to playa del carmen. We had 4 chicken tacos, nachos and guac, and a Nutella burrito for the kid. Best guac I've had and the hot sauces are made in house! Will def be returning.

I've been an atheist for most of my life-- until I tried Gusto. Food is incredible and we got it delivered straight from the restaurant. Arrachera burritos were amazing. Quesadilla was amazing. The Nutella dessert thing was amazing. 10/10. Don't turn your back on the lord, eat at Gusto.

The surf and turf burrito was excellent! The tortilla is toasted and held in the sauce and juices very well, the flavor combinations were great. The service was also helpful and he spoke fluent English.

Ein sehr unscheinbarer kleiner Laden in einer Seitenstraße aber ein Besuch lohnt sich definitiv. Der vegetarische Burrito ist unglaublich lecker. Aber auch der Burrito mit Hühnchen war sehr gut. Wir haben das Essen mitgenommen und am Strand gegessen, das Ambiente dort war für uns nicht sehr gemütlich aber wir finden es kommt auf das Essen an und das war klasse. Für einen Imbiss oder für ein lockeres Abendessen wunderbar geeignet.

Delicious food! I had 2 shrimp and 2 fish tacos, both great with 4 amazing sauces to try. The best was the spicy pineapple 🍍. Finished my meal with this insane Carmel/banana fried borito type wrap... highly recommend. Chef was super nice and makes some great food. U can also sit outside with a ocean view down the shopping street.

Holy cow this place is crazy good. We got a chicken burrito and fish taco. Amazing. The chicken is moist, perfect about of cheese, bellpepper, and the cabbage slaw was still cool and crispy despite an excellent char on the tortilla. The fish taco was crispy, fresh, moist, and refreshing with the cabbage, we wanted to order another. Chef made it fresh and provided 4 sauces, also amazing. There was also a phone charger, European power adapter, and the interior very cool from there sauna outside. Very close to bus station, very convenient.

The best tacos I had in playa del Carmen. The surf snd turf was juicy and packed with flavor and the fish was crispy and airy. We ate here for lunch each day. It’s a small spot with only one employee but super quick. Prices are between 180-200 pesos for 4 large tacos. It has 5 stars for a reason.

Owner operated restaurant located steps off the beach. This was by far the best burrito we tried on our trip and I know I’ll be craving it for months to come. The sauces were also some of the best I’ve tried and he makes them all in house. Most of the reviews mention these sauces for a reason! Their awesome. I recommend the skirt steak burrito, and the surf and turf. Prices are very reasonable!

I spent a week in Playa del Carmen. The fish burrito here was by far the best one that I had, so I went back for another. The restaurant is a few yards off of the busy 5th Ave. Most of the seats are outside with two tables inside. The inside of the restaurant is painted with amusing artwork for you to enjoy. Be sure to look up above the doorway to see why the food here is so delicious!

I wish we wouldn’t had arrived when they first opened as I think the chef still needed more prep time. We had guac/chips, chicken tacos and fish tacos. Now I have to say my wife said that those were the best chicken tacos she has ever had! The fish tacos were okay, saturated with lettuce and not enough sauce. I was hoping for more. Great service and atmosphere!

Came here for the reviews - quickly realized they are overhyped. First, the man cooking the food didn’t say a thing when I entered, I said hi and he just looked like he didn’t want to be there at all. He dropped my food and two sauces on the table without a word. The chicken burrito was pretty average. Not great but not bad either. Could have had a bit more flavor. The music was nice.

Ordered the large chicken burrito (159 pesos). Taste was fine. However not that much filling for a large and looked like the guacamole was missing. Compared to other burritos in Playa it was disappointing to me.

Unfortunately, we got food poisoning after eating here. We felt badly immediately after eating there, and during the night we got very sick. Be aware, especially as a tourist. Edit based on reply of owner: I would really recommend you take this feedback serious rather than assuming it is fake, please prevent others from getting sick as we did. I added our credit card statement from last night, based on this you will hopefully confirm this is honest feedback and improve!
