El restaurante es muy bonito, tiene un ambiente agradable a pesar de no tener aire acondicionado. La comida es muy rica y la atención de José fue muy buena. Lo más parecido a la comida italiana, tienen que ir!!!

Mi experiencia en La Trattoria del Centro fue muy agradable. Probé una pasta y una pizza 4 Maggi, además de unos panes con queso como entrada. La pizza fue, sin duda, mi plato favorito: la masa estaba perfecta y el sabor de los quesos se podía distinguir claramente, lo que la hizo excepcional. La pasta estuvo regular, pero el queso de la entrada me encantó, tenía un sabor muy bien logrado. Visité el lugar en una tarde noche tranquila, cuando no estaba muy concurrido, y el ambiente fue muy agradable. No hacía demasiado calor y los ventiladores mantenían el espacio fresco. El servicio fue rápido y muy atento, lo que me hizo sentir bien atendido desde el primer momento. Además, me sorprendió gratamente lo accesible de los precios, considerando la calidad de los platos. Definitivamente, recomendaría este lugar para una comida casual con amigos o una cena tranquila en pareja.

Es un lugar con magia y que crea una atmósfera única y cálida. El patio interior,las luces, la música y el trato de los camareros es genial. Me atendió una chica morena que estuvo pendiente en todo momento con simpatía y profesionalidad. Me recomendó las croquetas de pescado variado y los ravioli de espinacas porque no como carne. Todo un acierto. Mi última cena en Riviera Maya tenía que ser en un lugar con broche de oro como este lugar.

Bueno bonito y barato lo que necesitamos los locales en playa Es un lugar increíble para compartir la comida con tu familia o tu cita ! Es simplemente increíble delicioso y la música en vivo otro nivel de experiencia todo mundo debería pasar por aquí almenos una vez en su vida !

Es el mejor restaurante que existe en Playa del Carmen. La comida es fenomenal, fresca, sutil, llena de sabor y a la vez de ligera digestión. El tiramisu podría decir que es el mejor que he comido en todo México. Manejan sabores únicos en su menú. Pizzas, pastas, ensaladas, bebidas, postres. Todo!!! Ambiente óptimo, calidad top, ECCELENTE ATENCIÓN, tanto del personal que denota una capacitación óptima, como de su anfitrión José quien siempre es disponible, amable, y sonriente. Lo amamos! Es nuestra primera opción cada vez que vamos a Playa. Y la chica que canta los sábados la amamos. Besos!

Everything about this dining experience was perfecto! We had no reservations and were immediately seated! Appetizers were served very fast after being ordered. The ambiance of the place was very cool! Our server, Giselle, was excellent! They were great with all the details, big and small. I would recommend this place for anyone with a small or bigger dining budget. We would call this place upscale casual. All food was served hot! 5 STARS! We will return!

Came here for my birthday dinner while traveling and I was very happy with my choice of restaurant. Food was very good, fresh and came out so fast! Had no complaints about the food - just that it was hard to decide what to get! Service was great; friendly, accommodating and patient. Loved the warm lighting of the atmosphere, fans kept it cool, the live music was exceptional & perfect for the setting. The server brought me a free desert and the performer sang me happy birthday! Wonderful experience, highly recommend.

The place had one of the best pizzas I’ve had outside of Napoli! The seafood spaghetti is amazing too and reasonably priced (300 pesos). In the evening they have a saxophone player and singer who gives the place I really good vibe. We ate there twice and would recommend anybody to go!

Step through Trattoria del Centro's "doors" and the souvenir shops disappear completely. Italian conversations fill the air around you while people wear light linen clothes like in summer Naples. Warm wicker lighting hangs above wooden tables surrounded by lush greenery, creating the perfect setting whether you're having an intimate conversation as a couple or celebrating with your entire famiglia. This remarkable place has become a sanctuary for the Italian diaspora, part of a migration pattern that started in the 1990s when Italian entrepreneurs discovered what Playa del Carmen could offer. The atmosphere perfectly blends Neapolitan warmth (think sun-bleached terraces and animated conversations) with Milanese sophistication, creating an authentically European enclave where Aperol Spritz flows as naturally as Caribbean breezes. The fritti misti arrives perfect and hot. You taste arancini, bruschetta, and fresh mozzarella. The music plays every night, but be careful. We come to Playa often and finally tried this place & we were blown away. The food was amazing, and definitely surpassed any expectations. My husband is picky & hard to please & after his first bite said “we will be back, this is amazing.” Nico, our waiter explained everything & was attentive and overall excellent! The ambiance is beautiful too. Also, the prices are amazing for the quality of food and service! I highly recommend giving it a shot especially if you like seafood.

Exceptional!! Our best meal on the Mayan Riveria and that includes many nice hotels. Our awesome Italian waiter Lorenzo delivered the perfect European dining experience. All of the service was friendly and professional. The food quality was top notch and the ambiance was perfect. This has to be the best Italian restaurant on the Riviera. Located slightly off 5th, Trattoria offers u the perfect escape in busy Playa del Carmen. Highly recommended!

Tucked away in the vibrant streets of Playa del Carmen, Trattoria del Centro feels like a hidden slice of Italy. With its warm lighting, exposed brick, and live music setting the mood, it’s the kind of place where you instantly feel welcome. The service was impeccable—Luz and her coworkers made us feel like VIPs, anticipating every need without hovering. Their genuine care and warmth set the tone for the night, making the whole experience feel personal and seamless. And then there’s the food. The pizza was perfection: the crust was soft, slightly charred and every bite was magical. The co-star was the ravioli, handmade with a delicate texture and swimming in a sage butter sauce that was pure indulgence. It was the kind of meal that transports you, making you feel like you’re sitting in a piazza in Rome. Easily one of the best meals of our trip, and we’re already planning our next visit. Oh and the bread they bring to the table was amazing as well.

Cada que pasábamos por ahí había gente así que en nuestro último decidimos probar. Pedimos el filete de branzino (buen sabor) y la pizza capricciosa (es masa delgadita y estuvo muy buena). Pedi una sangría que me gusto muchísimo. El ambiente estaba animado y hubo música en vivo 🎤 .

At Trattoria del Centro 🍝 in Playa del Carmen, the place itself is very beautiful and inviting, with lots of trees and soft, warm lighting that creates a lovely atmosphere ✨. They also serve complimentary bread 🥖 at the beginning, which is always a nice touch. The staff was friendly and attentive 👏. For starters, we had the beef carpaccio. Unfortunately, it was quite bland at first 😕, but after adding some salt, pepper, and olive oil, it became more enjoyable. The freshness of the meat was noticeable, though. For mains dishes, we ordered a Margherita pizza 🍕, which was delicious, the dough was excellent and also the tomato salsa 🍅 ! We also tried the tagliata (sliced beef). The first serving was overcooked and dry, not the medium we had asked for. However, once we mentioned it, the waiter replaced it with a new dish that was much better and cooked properly 👍. There was also live music 🎶 by a singer, which added a nice vibe to the evening. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but honestly, I expected a bit more 🤔.

Very nice place, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was ok though… we ordered carpaccio and mussels for starters and then multiple dishes for mains and the best was the calzone. The patas were meh… nothing special. The calzone was great though
