Nice patty on the burger. $6.50 hamburger. I ordered 3 and they were excellent. Most places are under about $5, but the patty here was all business. Lettuce, onions, and tomato were cool and fresh, dressing was tasty, not overpowering or sloppy. Tom's Jr. is now a friend of mine in South Gate. Orale! Tom's!

I would highly recommend the Tom's jr on Atlantic and Tweedy👍❤. I used to go to the one on Long beach Blvd until I found a bone in my burrito 🌯and it made me choke. I called to let them know and the manager said..there was NO BONES in the burrito I made it myself😳 and got mad at me on the phone🤦‍♀️. I told them I could come and show them🤷‍♀️ but he got more mad and hung up😖👎. So this Tom's jr is a joy..everyone is very friendly and there food is freshly made. HIGHLY RECOMMEND the fresh squeezed orange juice.🍊 The 3 chicken crunchy taco's🌮🌮🌮 are FIRE..👍❤

It is an amazing place and it's atmosphere is a very good sensation. At times you can see a rooster or chicken s walking around the parking lot don't mind them and they wont bother you. The food is great and affordable. Just don't go aski g for carne asada fries or pastrami chili cheese fries. Those will Dent your wallrt. Service is amazing and the place is clean. Great place to eat. Will come again

Really Great local burger joint, I have not been back to my Old neighborhood for many many years, drove out from Orange County to hand deliver a Christmas card to ensure my friend got it in time for Christmas. Passed this burger joint on my way in, the aromas of burger grilling caught my attention 😋 as I got stopped by the red light at the intersection. I stopped in on my way back home, ordered a bacon cheeseburger combo and a soft drink. 😋 OK THAT WAS A CRAZY GOOOOOD BACON CHEESEBURGER..... hands down great grilled flavor fires cooked perfectly n8ce and crispy good. The staff very friendly and courteous quick service but be prepared to wait a minute or two this place is popular with the locals and the prices are fair and you get good sized portions, very good value for the money. I will for sure comeback I gotta try their pastrami sandwich combo 😋 even if I have to drive from Orange County. Oh yeah I almost forgot I ordered a side of chile and it was very very good. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. Good food, not bad service

The prices are ok. The burrito carne asada is so good but small for $10 the chicken strips were good and soft with a good taste..The French fries would be good if they would put some seasoning salt for taste. The only thing I didn't like is the outside too many homeless people just loitering hanging around and drinking..Not good when you go eat with your family. The service was fast

The food is very tasty. The quality is excellent. The service is fast and very friendly. You get a good portion to what you pay for. Some other places that have multiple items in their menu do not do all of them well, but this place does everything rather well. I've tried most of the menu and all of it is really good. My wife and I will continue to come here gladly!

TOM SR. I was doubtful when ordering the asada fries....... but let me just say it was fresh. fries well done food was hot and oh. The flavor.meat was tender cooked well . It was all around F🫠🤩😋 delicious. thanks for knocking it outta the park. Thanks to all the cooks blessings

I cannot say enough about the quality and service at Tom's. Even their salad comes with juicy grilled chicken and pita wedge. So far everything we have tried was amazing. We are located next door at Veterans Stand Together and we order food for our Veterans whenever we can.

I love the food here! The prices are good and the food is always delicious!! Their zucchini fries are EXCELLENT!! This is the 3rd time that I had a bad drive thru experience. I get to the window, I pay my order and then the cashier gets busy taking other orders, filling cups with soda and I wait 4-5 minutes thinking my order is not ready yet...then the girl opens the window again and she ends up giving me a bag with food that had been sitting next to her register from the moment I had first paid her!! Why does she let my food just sit there and get cold instead of giving it to me right away?

Went in through the drive through, thought I was going to regret it since there was a long line. However, they were pretty quick in having you order your food and pulling up to the window to pay and get your bag and bounce! These guys are fast! 😅

People service at this location is awesome, great good experience. The quality and amount of food for the prices are spot on/excellent. For what your spending it's worth the trip and expense...it won't break the bank and you'll eat well.

Live for there shakes, love there burgers, but they don't grill there onion. Everything else is good I miss there greek chicken salad. So I make my own.

I Ordered over the phone while I was waiting for the bus. A Jr burger special with a Coke and extra seasoning on the fries came just as I ordered it and was hot and friendly. The food was hot and the workers were friendly. Soda could use a little more carbonation to give it that, Coke taste and feeling. 90% clean dining section outside. This was our first time trying this place, and boy were we happy to have happened onto it because the menu choices were all so appealing and quite different than your average fast food joint, more like comfort foods. Everything from biscuits and geavy, chicken and waffles, to a steak sandwich, or club BLT. Our burger combos were delicious, even the avocado qas fresh and not browning, but we were really eager to come back and try some of their breakfast plates, as they looked really tempting. All the classic American choices and with non fast food appeal, upon eating. A real hole in the wall catch!

What an amazing place! The food is so authentic and amazing. The service is awesome and FAST and super affordable. I feel like i owe them money 😂 the pricing is actually about $8-$9 bucks per plate, can you believe that?! Every time we come here its such a great experience. Thank the staff sooo much! I was looking for a good pastrami and steak sandwich finally. Toms jr if you read this keep that steak sandwich at 10oz it was delicious and perfectly cooked no fat just meat, it was not greasy. The pastrami needed a little more meat but really good had flavor was not dry it was 17 dollars for the combo and 12 dollars for just the sandwich thats with tax, inflation is causing prices to go up but its worth it here very delicious.

Something for everyone. Good prices, great quality food, fast, clean service. Had me a hearty huevo con chorizo breakfast even came back for lunch. Love that Cali Burger combo!! Very tasty and crisp French fries with season salt.

Food is good, but a bit pricey for a burger joint. Prices are 10-20% higher than comparable places in the area. What I absolutely HATE, is that they charge you a 55 cent fee for using your card! No one in this area does this, and at their prices, it's a real rip off! Bring cash.

Pretty tasty. We get the cheeseburger special and the onion rings and fries. The BF eats every morsel and I eat about half. They're pretty big and they're good because they aren't super greasy. It's good hangover good. Haha. Get a side of ranch and thousand. It's a bummer they don't have shakes but honestly it's probably a good thing. Haha. The service is good and they are always nice. There is almost always a line but it's fast. The food is cooked to order too. Oh and my bfs son digs their chili cheese fries. 👌😁

The food was good. It was insanely hot inside though. I don't know if it was because we sat close to the kitchen or their ac wasn't working. I didn't get to try their milkshake because i was too full but i would definitely come back to try it, but please fix the a.c if it was broken. Thanks

Great food, chili fries are delicious and always spot on. The family pack is best, i love they they give you the option of having 2 chicken sandwiches and two ham burgers. Customer service is 50/50 sometimes you get great service and others not so great.

Food is good place is clean but night crew is not the business they are so rude to each other I thought two employees were going to fight everyone behind the counter were just staring at each other and not getting orders out orders were just sitting on the counter by the grill !!!!

Very clean place. The staff was very friendly. They have a variety of things on their menu. I order the cali burger with a side of chilli cheese fries. It wasn't what I expected. It was more lettuce than anything else on that burger. My burger was meat deprived. The chilli cheese fries were pretty good. It was my first time there and I would go again mostly because the cleanliness but I will try something else of their menu

Tom’s Jr. is Tom’s Jr., food is generally okay. Giving it a 3 star because we visited around 8 pm and the place was filthy! White floors didn’t help the situation; seemed like somebody spilled a drink by the front counter and it never got cleaned.

The food was good, no complaints. The girls in the front rush you through your order (even if there is no one behind you). Th front counter is a bit chaotic, and I understand they are located in a very busy corner. They have plenty of parking a drive-through and some outdoor seating. The place is clean. There is a school nearby, and students tend to hang in there. Which makes it a bit loud. I had taquitos de papa very delicious.

They are supposed to close at 11pm. I rushed over to Tom's and saw the drive-thru line was super long. So I parked to order inside to-go and the doors were already locked. This was at 10:53pm. So, I got into the drive-thru line since they were still taking drive-thru orders. Menu was still lit up and it wasn't closed off. I waited in the drive thru, they took the person's/car's order ahead of me and when it was my turn to order, the employee says (through the intercom), "We're closed". At this point it was 10:55pm. This was really rude and disrespectful...terrible customer service. They should take orders until the drive thru is closed off and the menu board turned off rather than have customers wait in line for nothing.

The food was good but they advertise one price then charge you another(more that is). They advertise a pastrami combo for 7.99 but when I ordered two, I paid almost $20. I advised the staff but I still had to pay the $9/combo. That said, the food was good and there were no complaints there.I can't give this restaurant repeat business due to the fact the I wasn't the only one who had a compliant about their pricing. **SOMEONE HAS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE PRICING**(Weights and Measures...wink wink)

This spot was clean, line was slow. I walked up to ppace my order and the cashier just picks up the phone and starts taking a mobile order, didnt even say excuse me or one moment just disregards me all together. Food took a while to come out and all i order was a junior cheeseburger with chili cheese fries. Im hoping this was just an anomoly. Food itself wasnt bad. Their chili is really good though.

Do you know it depends what time of day you go there it seems like during the day the food's better you go during the night they short you everything and it just it's not the same the cooks during the day are way better. But they take EBT food. That's a big + try the super Burger it's essentially a Big Mac made of real food so it's about twice the size but it's like I said real food as well not that processed wax whatever the hell McDonald's feeds us

Was the original Tom’s sold? The logo changed and so did the food! Ive been coming to this Tom’s since forever! When the cheeseburger special was 5 dollars. I went in today to buy a chicken sandwich combo and the burger was bland. It wasnt bad, but i remember a blast of flavor with way more sauces. The fries i got had 0 seasoning. They tasted like they were dipped in the fryer with fish. No seasoning at all. Please talk to your staff! June 21. 2024 at 3pm. Food was made poorly

Poor service for the 1st time visiting. Willing to experience it again cuz I really never got to try the food. They wouldn't serve breakfast because they closed breakfast servings 2 minutes b4 I ordered while I stood there 5 minutes deciding what to order. They could have said something. There was plenty of breakfast food on deck and sitting in warming trays but they chose to toss it in the trash.

I ordered the green chila quiles they were good until I found a hair in the chips with salsa around it. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤮 No more for me. That totally killed it. Make the cook wear a hairnet.

Honestly I personally like the food here (some), but the services is THE WORST!. The Girl VERONIKA VELASQUEZ(as it said on the receipt) working in the Drive thru was very distracted by her coworkers yelling and laughing in the back. I had to repeat myself more than three times for her to get my order right not only that but once I pulled up for her to charge me the amount of $14.39. I only have her $13 and as she continued laughing w/ her co worker she then again asked me if I gave her $15.00. I said yes (it's not my fault she's not paying attention)lol. And she still returned $1.00 back to me. Once my food was handed to me she said have a good day and forgot to give me my drinks. I then asked her for my drinks. At that point I was already frustrated and wanted to leave. Once I'm about to eat my food I notice she also gave the wrong drinks. Everything she did was WRONG!!! Like I Said, foods good but The Service Is HORRIBLE. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 And This Specifically goes out to The Girl in the drive thru VERONIKA VELASQUEZ ! Incompetent, unproffessional employee Alondra Delgado is the reason for the low rating of this review. I've worked in customer service all my life so I prefer to be as pleasant as possible. Other than that, the food is great, just make sure to always double check it before driving away.

Their burgers are below par, the patty is too thin, dry and really its not a 1/4 pound patty, its more of a 1/6 pound patty. Their french fries are good. My first time at this place, more than likely my last.

We had the steak torta combo. Fries were good, ranch and thousand island were good too. The steak torta was a different story though. No seasoning at all, just the meat, lettuce, tomato and mayo. No queso fresco, avocado, no salt, or pepper(atleast) nothing…just terrible, Very plain would not recommend it at all

Pretty gross burger meat taste I've a sping no flavor real bland. The burger buns were hard. The chicken strips were pretty nasty. Chicken strips were curled up they looked awful. Overall bad experience. So much $$;to not have enjoyed our dinner. I definitely don't recommend this restaurant.

This place really has good food but as for customer service, they are so rude. I give my son money everyday so after school he’s able to buy himself some food and inreturn of my $80 expenses a week they give my child attitude when he’s waiting for his food. I understand at this time they are busy but to talk back to a child for simply asking how much longer for his food is unacceptable. Im giving them a one star review for bad customer service. Didn't like the food. My son was crying he wanted a orange that they had up in the counter for the orange juice they make there I ask if they will sell me one for my baby but they refuse. I usually like Tom’s and they’re quick most of the time especially for big orders. But man, 22mins for just two unsalted patties and an order of fries that’s just ridiculous. And still pumping full orders out on the fly is crazy. Only had a 30 min lunch and spent it waiting for two damn patties.

Disappointing. They closed 10mins early while me and other people was waiting in line. They lost profit for the owners for sure on a Friday. So heads up if anyone tries to come 10 mins before probably won't be guaranteed. I drove from Long Beach to eat here. That why I'm more disappointed. So one star for not honoring their service and job.

I went to get a burger seeing how it has good ratings and there sign says they close at 11pm so when I ordered my food they rushed on making it the fries weren't made right they didnt have any seasoning on it the patty ass well no flavor they added way to much lettuce where it was falling apart from the burger and at the same time they didnt let me eat my meal inside knowing that the restaurant wasn't closed yet and had to eat outside in the cold.

It is not sanitary!!!!! There is a girl handling food, WITHOUT GLOBES, touching napkins and placing them on top of the food, touching utensils and placing them on top of food. She also had two big strands of hair coming out her hat(which should be protecting her hair from touching food) coming in and out delivery/drive thru bags of food, they are literally whipping the food. I know because I saw her working procedure. No hand sanitizer used, no changed of gloves done, By any cashier, one literally grabbed the cup of soda from a customer and proceeded to give him a refill, without globes, and then handing out food. It was disgusting. No of them seem to care, the only person wearing globes was the man making the food. That is it. I will definitely not come back to this Place.
