This restaurant has had a crazy evolution in the past 20 years. I went here for the first time in 2004 when I was just 14 years old and these tacos have stuck with me my whole life. I have never been able to find a perrone or taco of this quality, not even in AZ. Let me be clear. These tacos are the best in the world and you will never find an equal. (Cope Americans). If you're in the Rosarito area or even in Baja California Norte, I would recommend visiting Yaquis every day.

Possibly one of the best tacos I've ever eaten. There is always a line but the wait is definitely worth it. Their menu is short and simple but their tacos are AMAZING and delicious. A must when visiting Rosarito.

Fire tacos. Only thing that was the least bit a hassle was the line which steadily moved. Other than that, service and food was phenomenal. Definitely coming back.

Not as great as people make it out to be. The meat lacked flavor and texture, kinda tough. Tijuana does it better. with cheese is better though.

I grew up going here constantly. The food was always amazing. It still is great in comparison to what you can find in the USA but ever since they switched cooks the flavor changes. Ill still go but there is better places around. It is very conveniently located walking distance to all the major nigh club area.

There’s a lot of local hype about this place. I’ll say that the food quality lived up to the expectation, but the service is lacking. They have a method to maintain a long line of people waiting. The preparation area moves very slow to maintain a steady line, giving the illusion that they are overly popular. The truth is there is ample seating available, the long line and wait time is due to the staff intentionally moving slow. I can’t say that I’ll wait in line for 45 minutes again for what I’d say is just good, not overly great or fantastic food. I’d stop by again if there’s no wait, but if I see a line like I did today, I’d rather go elsewhere. Kind of a let down.

They have basically 3 items on the menu....A flour tortilla taco one with and one without cheese, plus a quesadilla. We had one of each taco which were pricey but good in size and flavor. We were there mid week for lunch. There was a line, and kind of slow, so come with some patients. Enjoy.

I was sadly underwhelmed by these tacos after waiting in line for an hour. The fillings are decent, but there is nothing special about these tacos, especially in comparison to the street tacos in LA. The beef and grilled jalapenos are cooked well and the salsa is good. The space is outdoors with plenty of sit down and stand up tables. A singer/guitarist played in the middle of the restaurant while other food and souvenir vendors circled the line. Be prepared to wait for at least an hour if not longer and stand in the sun until you're towards the front.

Used to Be a Favorite, But the Hype Changed It This used to be my go-to taco spot in North Baja. But as the hype grew, so did the crowds, and the prices. When bachelorette wine tours start rolling through to “get an authentic taste of Baja,” you know the secret’s out. At over $4 per taco now, I just can’t justify it. The tacos are good, but not that good. I’d rather skip the lines, avoid standing in the sun, and grab two equally solid tacos elsewhere for the same price. I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way. Sad to see a gem go the way of the hype.

Over rated and tacos were okay. Definitely not worth the wait, about an hour. Yes, the meat quality is good but bland. If you add all the toppings, you’ll have a good tasting taco. The issue is, that can be said about any taco. The meat has no seasoning whatsoever. The tortillas were delicious but they were delicious at all the taco places we ate at over the weekend. So I would not go again since I can find good tacos without the wait time pretty much anywhere in Tijuana. But as always check it out since we all have different taste buds.
